Pa Sulay Njie
Hello sir, I sent an email to your support team and they directed me here. In the past I created an article in draft called Pa Sulay Njie which was letter accepted but I found few days back you removed the page as G3 Pure vandalism and blatant hoaxes which is totally incorrect. The information in page was fully supported by sources from renown websites. The player has played for Gambian national team under 17 and under 20, played for Worchester city FC and also played for some other clubs. I have included some links in this email supporting his career so would like to request you please have a look at the page and fresh link below and restore the article. You can also search on Google. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.148.73.61 (talk) 15:27, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

Sir I have created new account now can you please undelete the page. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elijahgraham26 (talk • contribs) 08:55, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- Kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no CoI thinks you are notable and writes about you here. I feel a teeny-weeny bit of guilt for deleting your article as hoax. I fear that, sadly, you currently do not meet the notability criteria laid down here. Have you actually "played for a fully professional club at a national level of the league structure"? If you really insist, re-create via AfC. Make sure that you can provide proper references for every team you have played for and if you cannot find references, omit the info. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 02:04, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
The article was an enhanced version of the subsection on the Vice Media article. Had more information - specifically details and more references. There are plenty of sub-sections to the Vice Media article that got their own articles via initiating exactly this method. I thought it deserved its own article. Any chance of restoring it? — Reaper7 (talk) 17:37, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
- It was not worth putting in a separate article so I have put your text into the main article. Also I am not sure whether "scandal" violates Wikipedia's neutral language rules. The media today report what they are calling the "Catherine Deneuve letter". Certainly some of the accusations levelled at the Vice Media executives sound like exactly the things that Deneuve and the other 99 are complaining about. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:52, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
You don't think it it is worth putting in a separate article - however I think it is worth an article. [For intervening waffle see here.] Thanks for your attention, Reaper7 (talk) 01:54, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- Amazing! A 3k byte essay just to try and persuade me that it must be a separate article. Is it really so desperately important? I stick to what I said: put your text into the main article. Before you move it to a separate article obtain approval from Arthistorian1977 (talk · contribs) or a consensus at talk:Vice Media. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 02:04, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- User:Reaper7 I don't think that at this point there is any need for a separate article. I would advise to add the text which is not in the main article already and then discuss on the talk page of main article the proposal for separate article. Then we may have all the relevant opinions. — Arthistorian1977 (talk) 14:50, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
Deletion of Æther Realm band page
Æther Realm page was deleted due to: "does not credibly indicate the importance or significance". I had provided links to sources that demonstrate (a) the band had professionally produced 2 full-length albums, (b) the 2nd of which was voted album of the year by multiple members of an esteemed arbiter of the genre. I also stated that the band had been on a real global tour with a band considered important/significant, whom I linked to, and that they had headlined a music festival (were well-known enough to do so). I believe this covers both "credibility" and "significance" required by Wikipedia:Credible claim of significance. Other suggestions appreciated. - Galtenberg (talk)
- Ah, the conflict between "claim of significance" and evidence thereof. Shirt58 and I feel there was insufficient evidence of notability. Feel free to re-submit via AfC but do try and provide better references. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 02:04, 12 January 2018 (UTC)

Creation of Diep.io
Hi RHaworth, I am sending this message to you about the creation protection on the repetetively deleted article Diep.io. Guangzhou Metro
Template:GZM RDT/2 and Template:Line 2 (Guangzhou Metro) RDT. Whoops! Something got tangled up in the page moves and deletions. You deleted the new Template:Line 2 (Guangzhou Metro) RDT right after Anthony Appleyard deleted the erroneous redirect (and apparently before the clean-up was completed). - No, it's not worth restoring. (If you just want to read it, then you know where to find it.) Also, whether or not you have a copyright or promotional issue, Wikipedia has a copyright and promotional issue. It's copyright, and it's promotional. It's not wanted here.

About Fix-It Felix Jr.
Fix-It Felix Jr, was originally intended to be only from the movie, but in reality, that is left behind, it actually exists, but it started as the Wreck-It Ralph promotion. Just people like you, deny the presence of the game in real life and not admit a related article, because you haven't seen or played it, I have played. It deserves to be, like the other games from the other movies. Example: this on YouTube — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ofihombre (talk • contribs) 12:54, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
I defend this article, because I have proof of it, and in the words of Jules Verne: "Everything that man imagines becomes a reality" and video games aren't the exception. Fix-It Felix Jr. must be in the Post-fictional category, Because it has been seen hundreds of times by many people who hadn't imagined that this game really existed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ofihombre (talk • contribs) 13:19, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- Hombre, no-one is questioning its existence. We are questioning its notability. "People like you, deny the presence of the game in real life" - instead of trying to avoid the AfD discussion, read it and see what I said! — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:47, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
About Draft talk: Linking Sigil
Hi, RHaworth, I have a question about your speedy deletion of Linking Sigil (is that Draft:Linking Sigil ? No idea :) ) We were thinking about what to include in the article, when the talk page was deleted. I'm new to Wikipedia and now I'm confused :) How can we talk about a draft when our talk gets deleted? Is it because the article itself was not in the draft article? But it _was_ in the talk page (i.e. the one you deleted)... Can you please explain how we should go about drafting an article and talking about it while avoiding deletion in the process? Thanks in advance :) (I hope I'm doing this talk page edit right...) — 94.139.22.170 (talk) 20:25, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- Please read this. Also note the comment here: "duplicating the symbol and having it seen by as many people as possible is believed to increase its power, meaning that this article may also be a type of soapboxing". Wikipedia is not a soapbox. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:38, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
(This is the same person writing. I really intend to write as an IP address) Thanks for your reply. You know, this is in the occult section. Many occultists will tell you that any symbol's strength increases with views -- e.g. Amazon's logo or the Wikipedia symbol. So remove the Amazon logo because having on Wikipedia increases its popularity? I guess not.
The point of the article is more that the symbol already was seen by many people in various places, in many countries, on multiple continents. It's mentioned in Spanish podcasts, posts from Finland, pictures from Germany, discussions in Israel and American band-logos... Thus it seems to make sense that information about it can be found here.
But that debate is yet to come. So far, we're still collecting sources and thinking. My question was about the talk-page deletion. I guess that it was deleted because there was nothing in the Article part. This is unfortunate, because we were working in the very talk page you deleted, but never mind that. We learned something about how things work here and how the rules are applied. I guess we'll meet again when the article goes up --94.139.10.217 (talk) 22:14, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi there, Could you please put the latest version of Principles for Digital Development into my user space (ideally restore the page, as I would prefer to not loose the history; together with the talk page, so we can continue discussion)? I had moved the page from my user space earlier today, but formal permission was queried (see below). I then tried to move the page back into user space, and because of this the (unintended) cross link the page was then deleted. Sorry for not removing the cross link.
We are discussing copyright of the page, and I am just getting formal permission from DIAL for the use of their CC BY-SA 4.0 content to be used under CC BY-SA 3.0 on Wikipedia. As we had informal permission for posting on Wikipedia through a forum post already, and because the text on wikipedia was already monitored by the forum team, this will not be a problem. (After all, the Principles are about open); hence I don't want to lose what I have done so far. Thanks, Bjohas (talk) 21:22, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
(Also see, User_talk:Diannaa. — Bjohas (talk) 11:01, 14 January 2018 (UTC))
Hi again. I believe your reasons for deletion was the redirect, rather than copyright. However, if the pre-existing speedy deletion note contributed, and having read up on the policies, I'd like to argue my case as follows on the basis of Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#G12. Unambiguous copyright infringement.
On the basis of this ("a dubious assertion of permission", i.e. permission with the Digital Principles forum, rather than formally by letter to WMF; also "free-content edits overlie the infringement" for the additional section created), I'd like to argue for restoring the page to article space, removing the speedy deletion nomination, while taking the above actions (as in (a)/(b) on User_talk:Diannaa, i.e. re-editing the page, and {{OTRS pending}} as a reasonable way forward). What do you think? Bjohas (talk) 11:53, 14 January 2018 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for the reply, that's very much appreciated. In case I interpreted the link correctly, a clarification: I am not affiliated with the organisation looking after the Principles in any way. So yes, while I drew on their website, I didn't copy my website, or a website I am affiliated with to Wikipedia. I also think that the Principles for Digital Development should have an entry on Wikipedia, as they are an important set of operational principles, including many organisations that are philosophically aligned with openness, sharing, and valuing the work of volunteers, in the same way as Wikipedia does. Thanks again for your response, and for sending a copy of the page. — Bjohas (talk) 20:49, 15 January 2018 (UTC)

Hi RHaworth, I noticed you deleted a file I updated recently here: File:Merrill Academy Logo.jpg - I was wondering if you could tell me of any possible way I can use this file? As it is the official logo for the Academy I work at. Regards, Callum. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Callum220299 (talk • contribs) 22:37, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- Callum220299, upload the image here (not to Commons) and select Logo as the licence type. Then you must add an appropriate fair use rationale - there are thousands of examples for you to copy in category:Wikipedia images of logos and its sub-cats. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:38, 15 January 2018 (UTC)

Why was my user page deleted?
I recently started using Wikipedia and created my account and user page (PaulHammons), per the instructions on the site. You apparently tagged my user page for deletion and I'm not sure why. I would obviously like to adhere to Wikipedia guidelines, but I'd at least like to know why you deleted it, and if I can get it restored. As I understand it, the user page is simply to establish who I am and what my background is. I strongly reject the idea that I am using Wikipedia as a web host. I have my own site and certainly don't need Wikipedia for it. Please let me know how I can restore my page in line with site guidelines. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PaulHammons (talk • contribs)
- I did not tag it for deletion - someone else did that. Classic fake article. Wikipedia is not Facebook. If you actually intend to make genuine contributions, build up an history of doing so before creating a proper user page. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:38, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for the response. I have actually made several updates and will continue to do so, so I'm not sure how many I need to make before you would not consider my contributions to be "fake". I understand that Wikipedia is not Facebook. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PaulHammons (talk • contribs) —Preceding undated comment added 13:51, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
- My first message was badly worded - for some reason I thought that you had not made any contributions to the encyclopedia proper. But your reply suggests that you have not followed the link I provided: fake article. I never suggested that any of your contributions are "fake" - it would be meaningless. You are entitled to a user page but it must be written in the first person and tell us more about what you do on Wikipedia than what you do in real life. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:23, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

Tentacion
Please create Xxxtentacion as redirect to "XXXTentacion" now that page has been made? Hello RHaworth, I was wondering if you would be able to create the redirect Xxxtentacion to the existing (and now notable-enough) page XXXTentacion? Page creation is still locked from when XXXTentacion wasn't notable enough (when you rightfully locked the page last January). Now that he is, and this alternate capitalisation is still locked from creation, is there any way you can unlock it or create the redirect? Thank you. Paintspot Infez (talk) 14:56, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- Totally unnecessary: Wikipedia search is case-insensitive so any mix of lower case and capitals will get you to the article. Indeed I would have deleted the all-caps redirect but it has a few articles pointing to it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:23, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi RHaworth, I noticed that you were the admin that speedily deleted File:Harry Beitzel.jpg, it's now been deleted so I can't see what the rationale was for why it was deleted. The only thing I can see is "F7: Invalid fair-use rationale", I don't understand where there was an invalid fair-use rationale or which exact criteria was invalid (unless I accidentally left something out), can you please shed some light on this. Thanks, Flickerd (talk) 08:47, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
- "Can't see the rationale"! So what would you call "F7: Invalid fair-use rationale" if it is not a deletion rationale? Please reply. Fair use is not allowed if it is reasonably likely that a free image can be found. The guy only died last year so there is a good chance of finding a free image. Try asking at WP:AWNB. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:23, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
People generally have a reason when tagging something for deletion which is what I was referring to when I couldn't see what that reason was, I was just asking for clarification (especially considering there are 10 criterions in NFCC). I have looked all over the internet for a free image, and there isn't one available (which is very common for former VFL/AFL players, it is incredibly difficult to find free images, even for ones that play now, and I have asked previously for free photos on other sites and people aren't very willing). I take copyright seriously and having proper fair use rationales, so I'm still not convinced it should have been tagged with a CSD but if at worse an FFD with the reasoning of disputed fair use rationale, but anyway... you weren't the one that tagged it for deletion so it is what it is. — Flickerd (talk) 05:53, 18 January 2018 (UTC)

User:Sweiner8/sandbox
Hi! I was wondering if you could restore the draft at User:Sweiner8/sandbox. The student isn't really used to writing in an encyclopedic style and I was in the process of writing out some advice about the matter. It's going to need a ton of work, but I think that it can be salvaged. (The live version of the article did need to be deleted, honestly.) I was going to go through a few of the sections and re-write material so the student could see how the content should be written. The class is going to be active until April, so he's going to have the time. — Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:33, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- Dear User:RHaworth, thank you for listening to my concerns. I would also like to know how this isn't a violation of WP:BITE and WP:AGF. I saw very little argument justifying G11. A lack of criticism presented in an article, especially one that is thoroughly cited using external sources, is not grounds for G11. Furthermore, the effort to delete everything, including sandbox, and the entire conversation is quite troubling. Please let me know how we can proceed in a manner that will better demonstrate to this newbie how civility is a central premise to this community. We've been talking about it all semester. -- Jaobar (talk) 20:55, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
Thank you RHaworth! Jaobar - I posted a bit of a response on my talk page, but I think that what caused concern was that this was written in a persuasive tone that, while not intended to be promotional, came across as such. Wikipedia has a fairly specific writing style and it can be easy to write something that is unintentionally promotional. Another thing that may have contributed here was that there was a lot of detail here that isn't really necessary on Wikipedia - for example, the activities section goes into a lot of detail about the background of specific areas, why the problems are a problem, and so on - things that, while not promotional elsewhere, can contribute to the appearance of promotion on Wikipedia. Something else that may have contributed (my apologies if it is not the case) is that if a person is used to writing in a persuasive tone, it can be more difficult to switch to Wikipedia's writing style. A word, detail, or section that could be seen as promotional on Wikipedia may not be as easily identified because they're things that are so commonly used that they don't appear promotional at all. I'm going to go through the article and give it a bit of a cleanup to help out. — Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:23, 18 January 2018 (UTC)

Draft:Utah Repertory Theater Company. Dear R Haworth, I appreciate your help, and I regret that my submission is time-consuming (for both of us!). - Fish and karate, I think what happened was: you restored all edits except the most recent which had the speedy tag. Result - you left an article more than six months old. Preferred procedure would be: restore all edits and do an edit to remove the speedy tag. This automatically removes the risk of six-month old deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:48, 19 January 2018 (UTC)

Hello there. Can you explain why you reverted my G5 nominations? Störm (talk) 12:43, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
- I disagree with G5. I say: if a page is valid, it does not matter who created it. Certainly in the case of the templates you must remove all transclusions of each one before you tag it for deletion - if you must tag it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:57, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
Kurdish National Congress
Article Kurdish National Congress which you just speedy-deleted for copyright violation, and was indeed a flagrant piece of copyvio, I suppose you'll have seen that I had deleted all the old copyvio text. I was considering requesting TNT for it anyway, but, that done, I think there is enough RS to write a sensible article. Are there any restraints or pitfalls that I should be aware of when trying to do so, given the CSD history? Thanks, Batternut (talk) 14:30, 23 January 2018 (UTC)

Deletion review for Government shitdown
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Government shitdown. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Jax 0677 (talk) 14:39, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
Rush Soccer Page
Hello sir, I recently created a page about a non profit organization called Rush Soccer. Here is the link that was valid when the article was created. My article was denied for copyrights infringements and deleted afterwards before I had time to fix the matters in question. Is there a way to restore the page and fix the few sentences that needed to be fix ? The sentences in question were taken out of one of the non profit organization subsidiary website. Thank you for your time. Best -- Pelo1007 (talk) 06:50, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

Cezar Habeanu
Hello, I created a page (which took me too long time) for a musician Cezar Habeanu which is already deleted so and I can't put the link to as you thought that "the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia." Could you please clarify and give an existing example of a page where an article actually says why this particular musician should be in the encyclopedia? What you do looks just like hooliganism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kurmanna (talk • contribs)
- You do not deserve it: you put your message in the wrong place, you accuse me of hooliganism and you make the ridiculous statement that you cannot provide a link. Did you see the previous contributor's carefully worded "here is the link that was valid when the article was created"? Please read this. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 01:05, 25 January 2018 (UTC)

Shea Chambers Deleted
Hello,
It was brought to my attention that you were one of several people who had deleted Wiki pages on Shea Chambers: [2]. We would like to know what the reasons were for the deletions. Thanks, Jerry Holden, Chairman/CEO TYAD Media Corp Inc
- (talk page stalker)This account has been blocked as a promotional account with a promotional username. It is also blockable as an impersonation of Shea Chambers, as a group account supposedly used by a group of Chambers' fans (see the talk page of the account), and as an account used for undisclosed paid editing by one or more TYAD Media Corp and TYAD Music Group Inc personnel in blatant violation of our Terms of Service. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:10, 25 January 2018 (UTC)

Deleted Draft:Medhananda
Dear RHaworth in January 2018 I requested the undeletion of my old Draft:Medhananda (which had been deleted in May 2017 because I had not been able to work on its improvement for 6 months for personal reasons). It did this request according to the guidelines on Wikipedia:Request for Undeletion/G13. And RickinBaltimore restored the page Draft:Medhananda on the 21 Jan 2018, 15:12. On the same day in the evening 21:24 it was again deleted by you telling I should follow the instructions on the above mentioned Wikipedia:Request for Undeletion/G13, i.e. the same I had followed already. I am quite puzzled by this now and in doubt what to do next. Thanks, GoldenerBall GoldenerBall (talk) 10:39, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
PS I am not able to give you a Wikilink to the Draft (as you request above in "wikify!"), because I can not find the deleted Draft:Medhananda anywhere. So, please excuse me for this. — GoldenerBall
- "Not able to give you a wikilink"! You appear to have read my "Wikify!" message. Did you see the words "a link to the page that tells you I did the deletion". Please reply. Re your draft: it is the fault of RickinBaltimore (talk · contribs) - he restored the page but left the speedy tag in place. Restored again. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:52, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- My apologies, forgot to take that out! RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:53, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
National Alliance for Public Charter Schools
Hello -- I am interested to author an article on NAPCS. I can start fresh, or rely on your account of why the article was deleted and ask for a refund. What's the story? — Rhadow (talk) 16:53, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
I saw it was written by a COI. I went ahead and redid it from scratch. Not to worry. — Rhadow (talk) 19:23, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- COI is an attribute - it cannot write. Please use proper English and say "editor with a CoI". I have restored the original as well. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:52, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
Retrieving a deleted page
Hi RHaworth, a page I created, viz. Department of Infrastructure and Industrial Development (Uttar Pradesh), was deleted by you in the past August, because of it being a copyright violation, which it ever so clearly was. However, can you userfy the page? So that I can republish it after removing the copyvio, as recreating the article from scratch would be a pain in the a**.
The article on Department of IID was deleted when I was relatively new to this, since then, I have created more than a dozen pages, including numerous BLPs. I have also gained the extendedconfirmed, pendingchanges and rollback rights, so I think I now understand WP's policies fairly well now.

My country has the name of Adamburg. Your argument of that this does not belong on wikipedia is wrong, due too the fact that their are many more micro-nations on wiki. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adma2618 (talk • contribs)
- (kibitzer) The other micronations have articles because there are newspapers or other reliable sources talking about them. Yours doesn't, so it does not merit a page. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 10:27, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

A small molehill
I have been taking an amateur interest in socks of late and this is a brief record of my learning process today. List of Argentine Nobel laureates was speedied - G5 - by the same user who had earlier sent it to AfD, where it survived. Nothing wrong with that. The creator of the article - User:Magipur - was duly blocked and tagged by your good self as a sock of User:Sulthan ameer. The timings seem OK for G5, so it's goodbye to this otherwise harmless List.
However, I noticed that 'Magipur' is not found in:
- Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Sulthan ameer
- Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sulthan ameer/Archive
- Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Vamsiraj/Archive
There is a link to User talk:RHaworth/2016 Jun 02 and it is clear that this block was intentional and it is likely that somewhere there is some record of Magipur's malfeasance but I can't see any obvious evidence of this. To be clear, I am not suggesting he wasn't a sock - but I am wondering what I might have missed for future reference.
Having trawled through this labyrinth I am not really expecting you to know offhand or waste your time enlightening me unless this is trivially simple. However when I ccome across WP:SPI stuff I can't follow I like keeping a record of some kind. I'll park it elsewhere if here is inconvenient. Ben MacDui 14:53, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- He is listed in Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Sulthan ameer. I did not feel it necessary to request checkuser checks to be done. I have trawled through the labyrinth myself and it does appear that I blocked him on rather thin grounds: he created Gustakhi Maaf and Gunda (1969 film) both of which had previously been created by user:Akash Guhathakurta. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:49, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for looking. For some reason I had missed the existence of Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets and it's sub-cats. I am finding these 'behavioural' analyses very tricky and if there is any kind of training manual I have overlooked that as well. Ben MacDui 17:11, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

Restore
Hi RHaworth, can SV OSS '20 and VV Goes be restored? Seems the Dutch Hoofdklasse and the participating teams have to be discussed over and over. In July 2017 a dozen pages or so were deleted or nominated for deletion. In the end none of the pages got deleted. Right now, of the 64 teams, all have a club/team page, except the 2 mentioned. The person who proposed speedy deletion didn't even bother to contact someone about these pages and just proposed. Not a very constructive attitude. Of course I don't know what was exactly on these 2 pages, but if it was a lack sources, it's easy to find plenty and can be corrected if needed. However, to just delete these pages without any discussion is kinda ridiculous. -- Sb008 (talk) 22:27, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- One reason I deleted was because you had shouted both titles. I note your dubious claim that Oss is a backronym but you had no excuse for shouting Goes. Restored to Draft:VV Goes and Draft:SV Oss '20. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:59, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
Both are acronyms, GOES (Gezamenlijk Opwaarts Eendrachtig Sterk/Together Upwards Unified Strong). OSS (Oefening Staalt Spieren/Practice Hardens Muscles), both acronyms resulting in the town name the club is located. The official name of both teams (not uncommon for Dutch football teams) is in full caps. Compare it to NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) or UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund), no one will write Nato or Unicef. Even spell checkers indicate it as incorrect. --Sb008 (talk) 13:35, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
- Why stop at those two? Go on: create backronyms for Meerssen, Nuenen, Vlissingen and lots more in that klasse. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:32, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

Restoring of page Udaya Sankar
I got a message that the page Udaya sankar has been deleted by you. I had created with URL www.wikipedia.org/udaya_sankar Udaya Sankar is a well known movie director who has directed more than 6 movies in Tamil and Telugu language. The current wiki page wrongly credits his movie to a different director with the name K. R. Udhayashankar. That is why I created this page. Request you to do the needful to restore the page. Regards Ram — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2rams (talk • contribs)
- Don't be ridiculous: it is impossible for you to create a page with a URL of www.wikipedia.org/udaya_sankar . So - write a proper wikibio about the guy and sumbit it via AfC. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:32, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
Jowinvp
Pages blanked and speedy delete requested by author User:Jowinvp multiple times. I thought of writing to you of the page Geevarghese Yakoob Kathanar as well as his family page Pattamukkil family, that were both blanked and requested speedy deletion (G7) by author User:Jowinvp that you had deleted now. The first article was effectively a 90% copy-paste of another WP article, with partial change of names and dates/years. References provided were plenty but irrelevant, were quite generic ones on the history of larger community or geographic place and had nothing to do with subject. Therefore, I had put some effort to clean up both articles, so a bit sad to see that both article are gone by now. I would not have made the effort, if this was the author's intention (almost predictable from his WP history). In fact, I realized that it is not the first time. Both pages were created and speedy-deleted (G7) earlier also. He has done similar actions in Malayalam Wikipedia for the same subjects in spite of multiple notices, to the effect that the ML-WP admins had to enforce a ban on his edits since 21-May-2017. I wrote of this on his user talk and article talk pages, but he has a habit of blanking talk pages on articles, which is in fact a violation of WP:TPG. I request you to take notice of such non-standard activity and act as appropriate to warn/guide the user. — Sahrudayan (talk) 16:38, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
Just saw that he has blanked his talk page again, so all my comments there are gone. WP admins please take note. — Sahrudayan (talk) 16:40, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
I also request you to please restore the Talk pages of the respective articles that you have deleted. Because, given the WP history (both EN and ML) of this user (who also operates with IP addresses such as 202.83.42.46 or 202.83.42.118), I expect that the same articles will re-surface after some months and if that happens, the editors should be allowed to notice those discussions.— Sahrudayan (talk) 16:51, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
Pattamukkil family had a longer deletion + restore cycle history as can be seen in Wikipedia_talk:Articles for creation/Pattamukkil Family. Arguably, the same user has been requesting blanking each time. — Sahrudayan (talk) 18:03, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

Hello RHaworth. Would you consider dropping protection on Template:Z down to template editor? It seems DePiep would like to make use of it. GMGtalk 22:25, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
