G6 deletions
An "unused and deprecated" template does not seem to fit one of the uncontroversial deletions allowed per G6. (Example: Template:Doi ref) I had already advised this editor to use WP:TFD. Tagging with G6 seems to be avoiding the proper process for deleting templates. What do you think? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 17:02, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
Would you mind addressing my concerns as I see you are still actively editing. Thank you — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:10, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
- I think that an unused redirect does not need to be dragged though any special process - just zap it. If you disagree, re-create it and take it through due process. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:21, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
Not too concerned about this particular template, but about your general approach to deletion. If you follow this policy, any template could be speedily deleted just by orphaning it and then tagging for G6? What's to stop an editor from abusing the process? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:47, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- Any editor abusing the process would soon be spotted by the eternal vigilance of the host of quality controllers. The template is the least of the problem - reverting the orphaning would be the tricky bit. The template itself would be restored by me or any other admin on request without quibble. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:07, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

Idan Raichel
Hi, I saw you deleted the article about Idan Reichel. Please restore it and if there are any problems I will deal with them. He is one of Israel's leading singers. I am sure there are parts of the article that were fine. Deleting an article and making people start over from scratch because of a couple of sentences is not justified. —Geewhiz (talk) 06:09, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) I see no history and no entries in the deletion log for that article. Have you spelt it right? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:13, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

- Article was deleted as a copyright infringement, in which case we would not be able to restore it. Best bet may be to start over. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:34, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
The article existed for years and I know I contributed to it at some point. So the whole page couldn't have been a copyright infringement, because that is something I never do. I would like to see what was there and fix it up. I'm sure there are sources listed and photos that could be used. It is hard to believe a whole article can be wiped out because one contributor may have added something inappropriate. — Geewhiz (talk) 18:39, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
- Geewhiz, main problem was GreenMountainLove (talk · contribs) who added a few Kbytes of copyvio and spammy language on Dec 14. I have restored it to a state before that and then removed more copyvio. I have left an hint at the top of the article about checking the remaining copyvio phrases. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:44, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
Thanks so much. I will have a look at it as soon as I get a chance.Geewhiz (talk) 16:06, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
Dr. M. M. Alex
Hello RHaworth, I had created the page on Dr. M. M. Alex a couple of months ago. But it lacked in line citations. Now it has been redirected to another page Alex Mathew which lacks a lot of important content on Dr. Alex's life. If i make another page which has the appropriate citations and references is there a chance of the page getting verified? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you, Basilmathew92 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Basilmathew92 (talk • contribs) 09:31, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) It would be better if you improved the existing Alex Mathew article. If you have additional well-referenced information to add to it, please go ahead. All of the articles on Wikipedia are collaborative efforts and additional help is always appreciated. If you leave the redirect as is, other readers looking for Dr. M. M. Alex will be automatically sent to the correct article. --| Uncle Milty | talk | 14:12, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
Hello RHaworth, I had only created a draft on Dr.M.M.Alex in my sandbox. I was working on sending it to you for reviewing. Unlike my previous page, this had around 44 in line citations and 10 external links which you could check for its authenticity. But I don't understand why you removed my content which was only in my sandbox and that too without even referring to the material I had. I'd like to further point out that the page Alex Mathew https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Alex_Mathew is not accurate. This includes the date of birth, filmography and including the title itself is inaccurate. And I know this because I am the son of Dr. M.M Alex and I'm offended that the page with wrong information exists while the page i was trying to create was removed even though i was just drafting it in my sandbox. It would be helpful of you could review my material first and then let me know the fault you see in it, before deleting it. Thank you, Basilmathew92 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Basilmathew92 (talk • contribs) 16:49, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- Basilmathew92, apologies for interrupted response - real world visitor arrived for a visit of some hours. Before you do anything else, please learn wikilinks. Sandbox deleted - no! Look at your contributionshistory. To stress the fact that we only need one article about your father, I have moved your sandbox edits to Dr. M. M. Alex - they are all there in the edit history. I see that you have actually made a few very tentative edits to Alex Mathew. Now, please explain why you are not going straight ahead and doing a full improvement job on it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:56, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
Computer hardware market products
Please would you restore User:Mattmill30/Comparison of computer hardware market products. The content is no different to the hundreds of "Comparison of" pages, except that due to it's span of a huge subject, it will take a while to mature the content; hence it's in my user section whilst the content is steadily matured for transference into an article. Many thanks, Mattmill30 (talk) 10:25, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
- Mattmill30, no, mate: it was very different from other comparison pages. It was far too detailed and little better than a price comparison site. Text emailed. Get yourself an account at Wikia and create your list as a user page there. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:56, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
RHaworth do you have a speedy deletion justification for "very different from other comparison pages" or "far too detailed"? If not, please restore the page and flag it as an article for deletion, for discussion by the community. — Mattmill30 (talk) 23:40, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

Swedish Riksråd
You recently deleted an article about a medieval Swedish riksråd, Birger Ulfsson. It's understable if you're not all that familiar with Swedish history and thus cannot judge the encyclopedical importance of a Riksråd, but would you please restore the sourced article about this historically important person? —Chicbyaccident (talk) 11:44, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
- I don't need to be familiar with Swedish history. All I need do is look at the abysmal lack of references. Moved to User:Chicbyaccident/sandbox. A decent length article with proper references will probably stick. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:56, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

Deleted Article Pay-Per-View Networks
Re the article Pay-Per-View Networks you deleted. The reason cited was a duplicate of the pay-per-view article, but if you read the article I created you would know it was not anywhere close to a duplicate. At the very least can you email me the text of the article I created. I did this for an assignment for school and now I can't get credit since it got deleted. Thanks, Matt — Preceding unsigned comment added by Malively (talk • contribs) 21:54, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
- A very poor title resulted in a poor speedy deletion reason. I fact it was a fork of pay per click. If your teacher actually approved your writing a separate article, you have been very badly advised and can validly demand to have your work marked on the basis of the text I have emailed you. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:56, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

Request for a Copy of Deleted Article
Respected Sir, I'm Tehseen Ahmed from Pakistan and created an Article yesterday on below link about a personality and you deleted Dr.Huma Baqai by the Section G12 allegation. However, I would be highly thankful if you please provide me a copy of the article. Hi, I was going to remove your A7 tag, but as you're an admin I thought I'd better ask you about it first, especially as I recently had a rather big argument and other hoo-ha about CSD A7, where I received threats about it. You don't think "Northern Upstart won a Royal Television Society Award along with Markthreemedia at The North East & The Border Centre's Awards 2010" is a credible claim of significance? The North East & The Border Centre's Awards appears to be at least somewhat notable. Adam9007 (talk) 16:46, 28 December 2015 (UTC)

- Sorry, that was my error, I thought I'd removed that as well. I'd talked for some time with this editor, and I think they understand what needs to change with the article. I'd undeleted to give them a chance to do that. Seraphimblade Talk to me 20:37, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
Why so confrontational? To quote... '........they removed a spam link, they left the speedy tag in place. What signal does that send? ' I haven't got a clue what signal that sends and I didn't see it anyway. I am not familiar with the all of the intricacies of Wikipedia and the protocols. I did not anticipate having to be. Everything had been discussed amicably with Seraphimblade and I thank him for being so patient in explaining things. The sort of changes required were explained and understood. You jumped in and deleted the article barely 20 minutes after it was returned to me and by doing so prevented me from making the changes. I therefore had to interface with you and I assumed that I had done so correctly. I assume I'm leaving a message correctly this time and I assume it shows who is leaving this message. — Thisiswhatwefind (talk) 22:02, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
- User:Thisiswhatwefind, a) I don't see it as confrontational and b) if it is confrontational, whom is it confronting? Not you obviously since I am not talking about your edits. "I did not anticipate having to be." That is usually the cry of the SPA / self-promoter. Hi, Looking for a bit of clarification on the reasoning for this being deleted as an attack page. Was providing formatting advice on the article in question to the user who created it (prior to some quite large editing from others) and I cant quite see where the attack page link was made. They'd advised that they planned on coming back to continue working on it tomorrow and I've got a feeling the user in question will be coming back to me with further comment as they've got my username handy. Could you elaborate as to what I missed. — Amortias (T)(C) 22:58, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- It is perhaps one of my failings that I am not too fussy about what reason I leave in the deletion log. But as you can see in the AfD discussion it needed some action. A better deletion reason would be: totally unreferenced. But given the lack of references, I am not surprised that the speedy tagger thought it was an hoax. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:21, 30 December 2015 (UTC)

Emotional Speech Blocks Syndrome Deletion
Dear RHaworth, thank you for your information about copyright infringement on Emotional Speech Blocks Syndrome. I am a member of a research team (NNBproject.eu) and I put the information about ESBS on Wikipedia. We have been working on ESBS theory and therapy as a team for several months, our scientific articles are waiting to be published. One of our member team was so happy to publish in Wikipedia, that instead of giving the link to Wikipedia, he put the whole text on his web site without any references. Thanks to your vigilance it has been removed (http://www.nowamowa.com/jakanie-objawy ). I would be grateful, as all members of NNB research team, if you could restore the page Emotional Speech Blocks Syndrome. Thank you. Best regards. - What am I to think of someone who cannot even copy&paste my name correctly or create wikilinks? And what on earth is the link to nowamowa.com supposed to tell me since I don't understand Polski? Wikipedia is not a free host. As a minimum, before an article on this research project can qualify for Wikipedia, it must: be published in peer reviewed journals. But that is nowhere near sufficient for Wikipedia - it must have been commented on, in depth, outside of academia. So, kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no COI thinks your research is notable and writes about it here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:21, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
I am really sorry for misspelling your name. And I can create Wikilinks, but I just wanted to make it more clear which page I mean, as it was deleted. Sorry for that. I am new on Wikipedia and I am still learning how to use it properly. The link to nowamowa.com was to show you that there is only a link to Wikipedia so there is no copyright infringement. That is why I think the page was deleted unfairly. The texts about this theory will be published at Polish Univeristy of Silesia. There will be international conference about this isssue, and the Polish conference about ESBS was in November 2015. That is why I think this theory should be also present on Wikipedia as it gives a new approach to the speech disorders. Additionally, it seems that Wikipedia should also follow the newest trends (it is my personal opinion) and I think that this page about ESBS is needed as well (and it is not a problem of COI). Of course you can disagree but still I would like to ask for restoring the page. Best regards. — Kitkas0 (talk • contribs) KF 09:18, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
- OK, so it was not a copyvio. But there is no point in restoring because it is so clearly in violation of our no original research policy. Feel free to raise the matter at DRV but do not get too hopeful. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:00, 31 December 2015 (UTC)

Cascading protection
Why did you enable cascading protection on User:TerraCodes? It's causing other users' userboxes and the TWA templates to be (excessively) protected. — BethNaught (talk) 15:00, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- Cascading removed. The idea was to prevent this user editing any of their user pages but cascading did not do it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:08, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
Could you restore the Green Party of Alaska article? I'd like to contest speedy deletion. I believe this should be considered with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Arizona Green Party. -- TM 23:25, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
- So why just Alaska? Presumably you agree that the Green Party of Colorado article was OK for deletion? If the AfD for Arizona closes with "keep all" or "separate AfD for each state" come back and I will restore these two. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:46, 3 January 2016 (UTC)

Green Party articles
I'm taking a break from theese articles now, but yes. You make a valid point. How can authors be required to reference? I try to remove unreferenced material, and then editors such as Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk · contribs). It's very frustrating. Me-123567-Me (talk) 02:04, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
Also I believe Namiba (talk · contribs) and 32.218.152.138 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) are the same person. Me-123567-Me (talk) 02:05, 4 January 2016 (UTC)

Chicken Island (Guangdong)
Chicken Island (Guangdong) and Draft:Chicken Island (Guangdong). Unless you know different, I can't see anything except salting preventing the acceptance of this draft. Am I missing something obvious, please? If I accept it I'm pretty sure the community will knock the rough edges off it. But I can't at present because of a pile of salt. So I;d appreciate your thoughts. — Fiddle Faddle 12:45, 4 January 2016 (UTC)

Pav Bhaji
A plate of Pav Bhaji for you | ||
Here is a plate of Pav Bhaji for you. Pav Bhaji is a Maharashtrian fast food which became popular in all over India. Pav bhaji consists of bhaji (a thick potato-based curry) garnished with coriander, chopped onion, and a dash of lemon and lightly toasted pav. The pav is usually buttered on all sides. Thank you. Deletion of User:Lawyer2b/Sandbox
Hi...I just found out that you deleted the above-referenced page a few days ago. A message on my userpage said I should contact you if I would like to retrieve the information on it. I would greatly appreciate it if you would make the information (page?) available to me once again so I could retrieve it and then you can redelete it. Would you be able to do that? Thanks, in advance. — Lawyer2b (talk) 03:25, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Deletion of User:Buster7/sandbox
Hi...I have the same situation as the User above. I've been trying to clean-up and get rid of my many sandboxes. I know I must have asked, incorrectly, to remove this Sandbox. But this one was my main Sandbox where I held all my editing clues, etc. When it was gone this morning from the linking at the top of the page, I felt lost. Can it be retrieved? Thanks in advance. Buster Seven Talk 12:43, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
My Hero. Thank You Very Much. Buster Seven Talk 13:48, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
- So what was this edit meant to do if it was not requesting page deletion? Incidentally, my deletion was a bit of an accident: I though I was deleting a sub-page which was transcluded into the sandbox. When I realised what I had done, I decided, playfully, to wait and see your reaction. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:08, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
As best I can figure is, I had the DB-u1 delete request loaded as a paste and didn't realize what I had done. My request AND your deletion were both accidents. I'm not sure about you, but my nurse tells me not to worry. Buster Seven Talk 17:22, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Edit protection on Beme
Last year you protected Beme to "prevent reversion to article about an nn-company". The company (app) is now notable enough to warrant an article (see Beme Inc.). Could we move the article to Beme, since that's the more recognizable name of the topic? --Mrtea (talk) 20:32, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

Chiragh Baloch article
Hello Mr RHaworth! I am user of Pashto wikipedia and Balochi test project at incubator, I ask you for adding please the Chiragh Baloch article,he is one of the most popular baloch actors and a lot of people know him, I can offering more reference for his work and life, for now you can see this one. - My simple minded COI test says that you are probably OK. I have emailed you a copy of the blatant self-promotion that was deleted in July. Create a decent and properly referenced article via Afc. Pacific View Charter School
Hello, I would like to get more information as to why you deleted the page I put up Pacific View Charter School. As section G11 states, we feel that the article was written with a neutral point of view. Its intended to provide information for parents who wish to see the schools education philosophy and approach. The content does not sell or promote the school, but provides facts for parents to compare to other schools. There are no copyright violations as the content is original. Also, please note that many schools provide similar information regarding their programs on Wikipedia.
If there is a particular section, please let me know so that I can review your point of view. Thank you. WPLbentley1 (talk) 05:12, 9 January 2016 (UTC)

A question
I searched on google a complete list of "copa del rey topscorers by season" and only notable thing on the whole internet I have found was on this article: Football records in Spain, but there is no list, and just a TOP 10 for all time; I looked in the history of the page and I have found 2 main articles writed by an editor User:Alexiulian25/Copa del Rey Topscorers and User:Alexiulian25/Copa del Rey Topscorers, and I was wondering if I can have access to that information, I am looking for a complete list. Thank you. -- Statistics Football For Wiki (talk) 00:11, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
Karmanyevadhikarste...
At Karmanyevadhikarste... you have deleted page because some one add speedy deletion. But after that I translated that page in English, which you didn't see and deleted that page. Please see in that page there was only one problem regarding copyright violation and I was trying to solve that problem too. Please restore that page or give me proper reason for deletion. NehalDaveND (talk) 03:22, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- I agree that {{db-foreign}} was not really the appropriate deletion reason. However {{db-context}} was a totally valid reason. The article starts with a slab of Hindi? or Sanscrit? and there is absolutely no indication of where the text comes from or what the discussion is. A properly written and referenced article, without copyvio may well stick. Text emailed. And what is the significance of three dots at the end of the title? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:09, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- @RHaworth: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:NehalDaveND#Your_article_Karmanyevadhikarste... here you can see some person told me that this is foreign language article please translate it in two weeks. After some one put speedy deletion. After that I translate that article. And some one put copy violation. So I was ready to solve that problem and you just delete that page. Please restore that article and see new changes by me. And than also you feel that my contexts are not proper, than remove again. NehalDaveND (talk) 09:02, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
Deleted page Cemşid Demiroğlu
Dear Mr. Haworth, I have realized that you have deleted the page about Prof. Dr. Cemşid Demiroğlu. Question about block of User:Tom Sandow
I noticed you blocked Tom Sandow for abusing multiple accounts with Tommy Sandow. That account was actually the second one he had, the first was Tom 'Slapstick' Sandow. My question is how did they abuse multiple accounts?
- Tom 'Slapstick' Sandow (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) made first edit 24 Dec 2007 and last edit 2 March 2008
- Tommy Sandow (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) made first edit 13 April 2008 and last edit 5 Feb 2010
- Tom Sandow (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) made first edit 25 September 2010 and last edit 12 Jan 2016
There is no overlap from these three accounts, I don't see how they are abusing multiple accounts. -- GB fan 11:28, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- Since I see you have been active since I left the note above, I take it you have no answer. I am unblocking the account. -- GB fan 11:21, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
