Franglais
Mr Haworth, You have deleted a page which I was sing earlier this week as a resource for a current project: list of French words of English origin. Would you please be so kind as to email me with the text? I would be grateful for swift response as I have a deadline for submission at 6pm today and am very much hoping to make use of it, given it's pertinence to my project. Regards Arran — Preceding unsigned comment added by 185.78.8.34 (talk) 11:26, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- Read this and be grateful I am talking to you. You probably are user:Habitstock~enwiki but if not then … You may have intended to sing the page but you obviously did not look at it because its entire content was "Ta Maman!!". — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:04, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm user:Habitstock~enwiki (alex). Whoever that guy above is, he isn't me. I must apologise. It was my intention to populate the page fully but I'm new at this and you were pretty hot off the chocks in your deletion. My 'Ta Maman' dummy text was an admittedly silly holding text that I plonked in while reminding myself how to edit stuff. I really do have a bunch of words now that could populate such a page (eg. le selfie) but I figured I've pissed you off now and should let it lie. Apologies again. Alex — Preceding unsigned comment added by Habitstock~enwiki (talk • contribs) 08:28, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- Habitstock~enwiki, for goodness sake! Don't let pissing me off deter you. But in fact here is the wrong place. Go to Wiktionary where we already have this list of English words of French origin. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:00, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
A draft
I noticed you deleted a draft Draft:Elspeth Beard as a G13 14 months ago- would it be possible to restore it? Her name was at requested articles, and there are enough sources to pass WP:GNG, so I plan to create an article, but I'd like to see if the draft has any additional content/sources. — Joseph2302 (talk) 12:51, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
- Restored - for what little it is worth! — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:13, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
Thanks, although it wasn't a huge amount of help. — Joseph2302 (talk) 20:30, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
Robert Heindel draft deletion
Hi RHaworth, You recently deleted my draft for draft:Robert Heindel due to copyright. I will correct these problems, but I do not have a copy of the article. Could you email it to me? I spent a lot of time on it, so it would be sad if I had to recreate the entire page from scratch. Thank you, Surfacedetail (theindel@gmail.com) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Surfacedetail (talk • contribs) 16:29, 17 April 2016 (UTC)

Hello again , I wondered if you could archive this article from May 2007 to Wikipedia:List of hoaxes on Wikipedia as always. Thanks again, SwisterTwister talk 22:07, 17 April 2016 (UTC)

I wonder if it was so smart to delete the GA review page of this article? Zwerg Nase (talk) 09:28, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
- A sub-page pointing back to an article serves no useful purpose. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:13, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
I do not know who created that, but by deleting it, you also deleted the review on the talk page, which is not good, because those need to be there for future reference. Zwerg Nase (talk) 21:01, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
- You deleted the Good article reviews that were on the two subpages of talk page. Are you unfamiliar with the use of sub pages when an article goes up for good article status? The review subpage is located at Talk:Article name/GA1, which also creates a Article name/GA1 page, I put the redirects there in case someone accidentally clicked the wrong tab so it would go strait back to article. The redirect was not the page that mattered, the reviews on the talk page subpage were. Please reinstate the pages. --Jeremy (blah blah • I did it!) 06:33, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
@Jerem43: As can be clearly seen on the article talk page, both (!) GA reviews are deleted and cannot be accessed anymore... I might be unfamiliar with what can and cannot be done with those sub pages, but I am quite sure that both being gone is not an ideal situation. Zwerg Nase (talk) 07:11, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
Thank you! Zwerg Nase (talk) 16:25, 19 April 2016 (UTC)

Template:Attached KML
You've deleted Template:Attached KML/PATCO Speedline and Template:Attached KML/List of MARTA rail stations but these weren't any kind of vandalism. These templates were created according to Template:Attached KML, Template:Attached KML/doc, WP:USRD/MTF/T#Creating a KML file. Templates of this kind are required to show linear objects, such as roads, railway and mass transit lines etc. For example, see links to such maps on pages of Moscow Metro, SEPTA Routes 101 and 102 or Sounder commuter rail in the header and at the end of page in 'KML box'. (Template:Attached KML/Moscow Metro is utilized for Moscow Metro article etc.) — Bluetram (talk) 17:39, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

I had just removed an A7 tag from that article because it credibly asserted significance. Having a notable co-founder is a credible claim of significance. Adam9007 (talk) 21:10, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
- You probably saw the ping, but it belatedly occurs to me to make sure you know this is being discussed at WT:CSD. —Cryptic 06:34, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
- Notability is not inheritable. I did not see a credible claim of significance. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:29, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
I didn't say it was, but having such a notable co-founder means it might be notable, surely? Adam9007 (talk) 20:52, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, it might be notable. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:00, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Commons move
Hello again , I wondered if you could move THIS (currently tagged as such) to Commons as this has been requested by the article user and I myself attempted to move it but was unsuccessful thus I thought perhaps you could. Cheers, SwisterTwister talk 05:07, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi! I noticed you deleted Clear (airport security) under criteria A7. The company is quite notable, having personal knowledge on the subject and many sources to back it up. I got the idea to create the article at WP:Requested articles, so there is clearly a demand for it. If you're not willing to undelete could you please userfy it so I can work on it some more? Hello ! About "Draft:Bastir!"... Why you deleted my file:Alternative L'Isle-Jourdain (bastir!).jpg? I'm the author of this ! I don't understand "F9: Media file copyright violation without credible claim of fair use or permission". "Copyright violation" ? "credible claim" ? Impossible! I am the author! I downloaded two versions of this photo on wikipedia commons, a full version file:Bastir-lisla-de-baish.jpg and this version cropped, perhaps with two different names. But the two pictures are from me. — Raymond Trencavel (talk) 07:19, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
- Raymond, copying stuff from your machine to a website is normally referred to as "uploading" - all websites live in the cloud somewhere above us. Also, for some incomprehensible reason, you uploaded one image to Commons and one image here. I deleted your image for the simple reason that it appears on this page with no indication that it is available under a Creative Commons (CC) licence and without any credit to a photographer. What you must do is get Jornalet to write to the address given on this page to confirm that you are the creator of the image and release it under CC. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:00, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 23
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nuclear Torpedo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nuclear torpedo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Deletion of Indian Institute of Sindhology
@RHaworth --- I need the page which has been deleted by you to be brought back as it is a genuine effort to bring back a link for people like me to be able to search for this organization so that we are able to know more about our lost cultural heritage. am new to wiki so will need time to get this right as per wiki's expectations but will get it done. would request you to get the page back please from the link on Sindhology master page. much appreciated if you choose to help out. — 203.88.138.138 (talk) 13:57, 25 April 2016 (UTC) M. K. Soorya
- (talk page watcher) Hi RHaworth. The article appears to have been recreated as Indian Institute of Sindhology. Not sure if the new version is an improved version, but there does not seem to be enough there at first glance to satisfy WP:ORG. -- Marchjuly (talk) 14:13, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- First message ignored - read this.
- Thank you for taking a look RHaworth. The prod tag was removed by the creator of the article, but was re-added by another editor. Not sure if re-adding the tag was appropriate since even bad faith removals count according to WP:DEPROD. Anyway, I don't believe the removal in this particular case was necessarily bad faith; just a new inexperienced editor not familiar with Wikipedia doing something they think is correct. Not sure what to do about the prod tag now. FWIW, I think the article's creator and the above IP are probably the same person because of the way the IP signed his post. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:49, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
Recent deletion
Before I could contest the speedy deletion of list of VOIP companies, the page had been deleted by you. Talk:List of VOIP companies now exists without a parent page and the incoming redirect VOIP companies should also be deleted. Unless you agree that this article has the merits of an eligible list article on Wikipedia. Thank you. -- John Cline (talk) 10:49, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- The article was a classic stand-alone article not a dictionary article: it defined VoIP instead of linking to the article about it; it gave details of each company instead of linking to their articles. I have re-created it with a "list of" page inline with our standards. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:52, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

metal ions in the life sciences
This article and its talk page have been deleted without due process. I'm sorry, I can't provide a link other than Talk:Metal Ions in Life Sciences/Comments. I created the article on 26 June 2009. It has not been challenged since July of that year, after which I made apparently acceptable additions. I have been udating it since then. Please re-instate the article so that the issue of deletion can be properly discussed on its talk page. Petergans (talk) 09:46, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- Strange - why could you not provide a link to Metal Ions in Life Sciences? Please reply. Even though it would have been a red link, it would have been perfectly valid since it showed the deletion log, etc. Restored. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:32, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

Why'd you delete the history at San Marino at the 2016 Summer Olympics? Or did we criss-cross with trying to move the page back to mainspace? —C.Fred (talk) 15:43, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
Since you're idle, I have restored the history. Since it was a U1 in article space(!), I don't think this is stepping on your toes, but if you feel there's a problem with the restore, let me know. —C.Fred (talk) 16:03, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

OK to delete Draft:Bell's theorem paradox?
Is there any reason I can't delete Draft:Bell's theorem paradox? I am the sole author of what's there, and none of my students elected to develop it. And the course has ended. My plan is to develop it myself on Wikiversity (where a parallel draft already exists). (Since I assume the answer is "yes", I will go ahead and place a delete template on it.) --Guy vandegrift (talk) 21:51, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- Why bother asking me? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:32, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
Why would someone speedily delete an article "which does not credibly indicate the importance or significance of the subject" when there are multiple articles in other languages to draw from? It was even marked as such. Forgive me, but that strikes me as unusually lazy administration. — Thmazing (talk) 01:20, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
- It is most definitely not my job to hunt for multiple articles in other languages. It is your job to provide links to them. More importantly it is article suicide to start development in mainspace. Restored to User:Thmazing/sandbox. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:05, 30 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi RHaworth, As of this writing, Marco is an extremely well-known child actor in the Philippines: [I consider that]:
- Marco can no longer be considered too soon as he has already built up more recognition in less than 2 years than any mayor of a large Philippine city would ever garner in his/her lifetime;
- Marco's body of work in Philippine entertainment (TV, movies, shows in various shopping malls) is verifiable -- especially if the Wikipedia editors who decide on his page's relevance etc. were actually living in the Philippines!
— Preceding unsigned comment added by Guwapig (talk • contribs) 17:26, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, but social media links do not suffice to establish notability. Consider adding independent, reliable sources such as coverage from a national newspaper. A simple mention would not be enough either; all sources must cover the subject in depth. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 04:56, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- Creating a link to a WP: page as a ref! You have been flagged up very clearly by my COI detection filters. However, I do have to admit that this kid may actually be worthy of an article. Reluctantly, I would approve the submission of a new article via AfC. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:21, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
To answer User:HMSSolent's reliable sources requirements from the 3 largest broadsheets in the Philippines (apologies if the citations are very basic, I've never been a Wikipedia contributor): [1], [2] and [3]. And to further comment on User:RHaworth's COI: I am related to Marco by blood, but I am objectively furthering this Wikipedia article inclusion as the people who have contributed to his existing article (pre-deletion) are (in my opinion) not too familiar with the Wikipedia article submission/justification process. I am a software architect in the investment banking space, so (COI be damned!) I think can best further the cause from a Wikipedia process point-of-view (for lack of anyone else truly capable of doing this for this particular article).
If you can reinstate his previously-deleted article (instead of me creating a new one via AfC, I really don't have the time -- even furthering this very discussion is sacrifice enough) which already had a fair amount of his filmography (in movies and television) written there, that would be very much appreciated! — Guwapig (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 17:47, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
An article with in-depth coverage of Marco: [4]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Guwapig (talk • contribs) 17:52, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- "I really don't have the time". If that is the case, give up now. The whole point is that the subject needs someone willing to take the time to create a completely new, well written and well referenced article. If you are not prepared to take the time, then wait until someone who is prepared to take the time comes along. I have emailed you a recent version of the text. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:09, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

Esste Imar
Not sure how to contact you. You have removed the following post: Ἔσσεται ἦμαρ reason A1 these two words are famous words and can be found in the Homer Iliad (I did include a detail explanation and links for Homer and the Iliad wiki posts). I searched for this term (Ἔσσεται ἦμαρ) and I couldn't find information on the wiki so I thought it will be beneficial for all learners who study mythology and Greek history to have a clear understanding of the "Ἔσσεται ἦμαρ" meaning. I spent time to retrieve the evidence and add the post. I can't understand A1 (generalising posts when some explanations are sorter than others. Information is about quality and not quantity. You posting for a long time now and you should know better.). can you please make the post live again. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ntizoglou (talk • contribs) 12:32, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- Ntizoglou, various thoughts: before trying to get anything here, make sure that el: will accept an article on this subject. I am not sure whether this belongs here or in Wiktionary. If and only if, you can provide good sound references to show that this is a well known and well used phrase in Greek, then create the article at draft:Esste Imar. If it gets accepted for mainspace then it will probably be OK to create redirects to it at Ἔσσεται ἦμαρ and Εσσεται ημαρ. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:24, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

What's the point of deleting File:Padovan.jpg? The file on Commons will probably be deleted (thus solving the shadowing issue), and it's generally inappropriate to delete file redirects unless absolutely necessary. -- Stefan2 (talk) 22:01, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

- You do not need anything from me. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:07, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
Hello RHaworth, just confirming. I thought the article was meant to be released to me to edit and recreate it again. I guess i can go ahead an recreate the page again. I have confirmed on notability and all guidlines and everything checks out. Wikielite360 (talk) 21:35, 8 May 2016 (UTC)

Article review
Hi, mr Haworth, i have an article under armind/sandbox 2 for vex robotics, and i did read the pages on the steps for this, but how do i submit the article for review before it goes live? Arcmind (talk) 14:51, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
- Despite three weeks and three hundred edits you still have a lot to learn - simplest one: wikilinks. In your message above you could not even manage to link to your draft and within that draft there is not a single wikilink - STEM is an obvious candidate. Other faults: the title is put in bold within the body text; you declare explicitly where the refs are to appear using {{reflist}}; the tone should be encyclopedic. And most fundamental, you must provide independent evidence of notability. If you can fix all these matters, submit the new version as described here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:30, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
- Arcmind, your words were "submit the article for review before it goes live". So why did you make it live instead of submitting for review? Please reply. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:57, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
When i had written the request, i was still working on the draft, later, i came across a wiki article walking me through the steps, so i figures i would not waste your time. I apparently wasted it anyway. Thank you so much for your advice, i will revise the things you stated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arcmind (talk • contribs) 18:13, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
Uhhm, the sources for Vex robotics has no independent sources from it's organization. Does that mean the article cannot be made? Just making sure i know how this works. Thank you for your patience! — Arcmind (talk) 18:19, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
- Please learn when it's necessary to use its. "No independent sources" - what on earth are you talking about? There are plenty if you actually look for them. But I strongly recommend you to change your article and make it about about the Vex Robotics Design System rather than the company that makes it. That title has masses of incoming links and a similar number on the incorrectly capitalised title.. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:41, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
Gotcha, but, where are the sources you stated? i surfed most of the google results and they were mostly company written. Never the less i will change the title and article. Thanks! Arcmind (talk) 22:21, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
Undeletion request
I'm requesting undeletion of April 25 House of Culture (deleted by you in 2013 per A7) as Draft:April 25 House of Culture. I'd like to see if I can work on it. Thank you. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 17:39, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

ISWAN
Good afternoon, I'm about to begin writing an article about the International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network for Wiki and noticed one had been previously deleted by yourself. So that I don't make a similar mistake to the previous author, could you possibly let me know why it was deleted? I see it says there was a copyright infringement? If the text still exists I'd be grateful so I don't repeat the error. Thank you for any help you can provide. Thanks, Rhi (unsigned user, I can provide my email if needed) 195.26.46.93 (talk) 14:26, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
- There has never been an article with the above title. The only ways I can email you the text are: you set up an account - strongly recommended or you post your email address here - which your are strongly advised against doing. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:42, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
Harder than it looks
My few forays into editing more than punctuation on Wikipedia have not ended fruitfully... usually just fizzled. I don't know what I would have been trying to do with deleted but I am not curious at this point. I am not surprised you found it suitable for deletion. Maybe I won't grow spots but will have to lean on a wizard crutch when I get the impulse again. Keep up the good work. -- ssp (talk) 20:26, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
- Incredible - nearly fiftten years of editing and you still do not know how to create wikilinks. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:02, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
I don't know the history behind User:B.Bhargava Teja but you tagged it as a sock of another editor who was blocked without blocking that editor. I have no idea of the background so I'll defer to you on how to handle this. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 04:27, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- Both accounts were guilty of copyvios. See B.Bhargava Teja's massive list of imagevios. But I think they have now learnt their lesson so I think no action is needed. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:02, 7 May 2016 (UTC)

(re-)creating Kevin Roose
Hi, RHaworth, I saw you deleted the page Kevin Roose back in 2009 with the reasoning "A7: Article about a real person, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject". I recreated the article, and believe I properly indicated his significance. Perhaps you can share your feedback? Thanks. - Paul2520 (talk) 19:50, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
- It has survived four days so it is probably OK. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:47, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Third opinion on Picnic (2004 film)
Hi, Just wondered if you could give your opinion on Picnic (2004 film). A user has requested undeletion claiming it doesn't meet CSD criteria. Thanks. → AA (talk) — 10:11, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
- AA, no attempt to demonstrate notability. Wait until the deletion review has closed and then immediately send it to AfD. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:47, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Pls restore speedy-deleted category
Hi! Would you please restore Category:Industry trade groups by country, which had previously been emptied out of process, in an effort to dismantle an established category scheme, circumventing the proper processes. I could recreate it, but then again that wouldn't restore the edit history. Thanks, PanchoS (talk) 13:54, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
- Done. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:47, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
EPOS
A tag has been placed on Draft:European Plate Observing System (EPOS) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Stefan2 (talk) 09:20, 10 May 2016 (UTC)

On the Wight
Hi. I am surprised to see that you deleted the On the Wight article I created earlier today, citing CSD and specifically A7. This implies that you did not believe the article gave any indication as to why the topic was significant or important. I was especially surprised as I made sure to cite a source which clearly supported the article's own claim to significance (a national award for hyperlocal journalism). Whether the subject itself is notable was irrelevant - it should not have been speedily deleted under WP:CSD#A7 as it contained the claim of notability. Please could you undelete the article as soon as possible. --Peeky44 What's on your mind? 20:12, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
- It struck me as slovenly - you had written the absolute minimum that might pass muster as an article. You could not even manage to link to it!! Reluctantly restored to User:Peeky44/sandbox and please keep French drafts to the French Wikipedia. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:47, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Yes, I had written the minimum - mainly because I have various calls on my time and editing WP is a hobby for which I do not have infinite time. You seem to have forgotten that the process is collaborative: I may write the minimum in one case, but significantly expand another article. Meanwhile another editor may well expand the article I started. You claim that I didn't link to it, but if you cared to look at the "What Links Here" for On the Wight you would have seen two articles did link to it, including one which I had spent several hours adding a significant section to. Either way, using Speedy Deletion out of process is extremely damaging to WP and has tripled my workload in creating this article. I had hoped to find a more positive response to my message, but given your self-confessed reluctance to adhere to proper procedure I fear I shall have to draw this to the attention of WP:DRV. -- Peeky44 What's on your mind? 08:10, 15 May 2016 (UTC)

Matthew P. King deletion
Hello, I see that my addition was deleted while I was chatting with wikipelli over other issues. Matthew P. King. I'd like to add that I was trying to fill in the link from Roleplayer (role-playing game) since it was, in fact, about myself, as published in the referenced book. I fully understand that editing/adding info on oneself can be frowned on by Wikipdedia, however ... since the link to my name that was already there went nowhere, I figured I could at least add in the basics ... since the original author did not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mpking00 (talk • contribs) 23:19, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
- I would strongly suggest that you wait until someone with no CoI thinks you are notable and writes about you here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:47, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Suggestion for editing
I'm writing to ask about the page you deleted which is Coins.co.th that is deleted bu you on 2016 May, 5. I believe everything in that has the reference from the big website in industry so would you mind giving an advice on how to fix and bring it back? — Chalitshee (talk) 04:48, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- The simplest way to bring it back is for you to wait until someone with no CoI thinks the company is notable and writes about it here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:47, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Great Day in Leamington Spa
Hi. You marked the a great day in Leamington Spa for deletion for various reasons. I have attempted to address these. I have already been advised that I need to get permission from the photographer for the uploaded images which I am in the process of doing. Other than that, am I now able to delete the warnings / issues? If not, could you advise me on what else I need to address to avoid this page being deleted. Many thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamrphillips (talk • contribs) 08:17, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- I did not mark it for deletion: I deleted it. The present version is not currently threatened with deletion. So leave the tags in place and someone with no CoI will remove them sometime. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:47, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Gobi Corporation
Hi, RHaworth! I first created the page about a major Mongolian company in the cashmere industry, which is mentioned in another Wikipedia article: economy of Mongolia - Gobi Corporation (Gobi Cashmere). Since I am a first time contributor to Wikipedia, I was advised to add more links from public sources, which apparently I did. And then in a couple of minutes I received a "Speedy Deletion Note" on this article. The article is devoted to a particular organisation, a major company both in the world cashmere production and in the Mongolian economy. There are other examples of such articles: a major textiles producer Hermès and a major mining company in Mongolia: Mongolia Energy Corporation. How is the article in question considered promotion? If it is possible, I'd highly appreciate that you retrieve my text from the draft please. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yudmik (talk • contribs) 13:50, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Please advise, what should I do to change your opinion and how could I proceed with drafting the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yudmik (talk • contribs) 12:21, 12 May 2016 (UTC) Yudmik (talk) 13:40, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- Kindly have the decency to wait until someone who a) knows how to create wikilinks and b) has no COI thinks your company is notable and writes about it here. Text reluctantly emailed. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:00, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Jai Dev Anand
You have deleted article Jai Dev Anand. This seems you are taking racism into this. Just because the article is about a Hindu you want to led it down. I want to tell you that it is neither a hoax nor it is unnotable. Typing the words "khukhrain" and "ghazni" in Google books would clear your doubts. To check the validity of wiki articles is the responsibility of administrators so deleting them blindly shows a clear racial Strategy to let other races down. — (talk • contribs) 05:20, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
- I have applied a brief admonitory block on your account to show you what we think of people who make false racism accusations. Any repetition is likely to result in a longer block. "Typing the words" - no - if you want me to look at a specific search, give me a link to it as with these singularly unpromising results. If you can actually provide good sound evidence that Jai Dev Anand even existed, let alone that he is notable, then submit a new version via AfC. Providing dates for the guy is vital. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:53, 13 May 2016 (UTC)

OceanDocs
Mr Haworth you have deleted my article on OceanDocs, a repository on ocean science publications hosted by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (a Unesco agency). This was unexpected since I submitted an original and then a revision. Your rejection says "because it is unambiguous advertising". How can I change my straightforward description of a free global information product promoting open access to scholarly publications in the marine sciences for researchers in developing countries, so that it does not sound like advertising to you? What is the text that makes you say it is advertising rather than outreach? — Oceandocs (talk) 01:05, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
