Brent–Kung adder
Hi Roger, I was improving some articles on digital adders and saw that we once had an article on the Brent–Kung adder, which was apparently moved to Draft:Brent–Kung adder at some stage and then deleted. I don't know if the article was good enough for a stub already, but what I do know is that the subject "Brent–Kung adder" is a notable one in principle and that eventually we should have an article about it (as we have for a number of other types of adders). Do you think it would make sense to undelete that page and move it to article space, or to merge the contents into another article (like adder (electronics)) for now? I can't promise to work much on the article myself but given that I ran into it today I wanted to bring this to your attention the least. Thanks for your time and greetings -- Matthiaspaul (talk) 21:37, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
- Matthias, all you needed to say was: please restore Draft:Brent–Kung adder. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:44, 18 April 2018 (UTC)

Piano reduction of the Busoni piano concerto
I don't think we should rush to delete the Busoni concerto files, e.g., File:Busoni- Piano Concerto (2-po rdn) Mvt1.pdf. I left some questions requesting help on the talk page, but there really has been no discussion. I think maybe these files just need to be moved to Wikisource. Once this is done, then they can be deleted from Wikipedia. also you have now broken a link from Piano Concerto (Busoni) to this file. --Robert.Allen (talk) 18:24, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
I think I can figure out how to do this. I just need some time to do so. But I need to have access to the information and files you are deleting. -- Robert.Allen (talk) 18:36, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- Robert, the complete scores should be in Wikisource if it will have them. PDFs are deprecated because the format is just a wrapper for various native formats but in this case PDFs might be better than having lots of PNGs, one for each page of the score. As for Wikipedia, I suggest just one PNG to illustrate the article. But this should be uploaded to the Commons. "Access to the information" - whaddya mean? You did the uploads so the stuff should be on one of your computers. I am currently on holiday and emailing stuff is messy. If you need stuff sent, remind me on or after Apr 20, Fri. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:55, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
RHaworth, I uploaded these files quite a while ago. Upload of PDFs was allowed at that time. I don't think I kept the originals on my computer, since I assumed they would remain available on the Wikipedia. The descriptions, dates, author, source info etc that I added to the information templates would make it easier to transfer those details to Wikisource, rather than having to reconstruct everything. The following are the files that I would like to transfer:

Buchalter unprofessional spamming
Hello. It appears you have deleted the page Buchalter, A Professional Corporation. There seems to have been a previous article about this firm but it too was taken down. To contest this immediate deletion, I provided several points outlining the notability of this firm. However, you were unable to respond to the case in which I presented because another editor seems to have deleted that page as well. Can you please outline here why this page was voted into immediate deletion? I have edited several Law Firm pages and have noticed almost all have flagged pages however are able to stay up. What edits do you see fit to change in order to make this article work? This topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list. I have identified and included independent sources (also called third-party sources) that fairly portray the subject, without undue attention to the subject's own views. The majority of the references are solely about the articles subject. In accordance with Wikipedia's dispute resolution we were unable to come to a consensus as to which would allow for this article to be published in order to satisfy both editors. Per Wikipedia guidelines, may we discuss and compromise this dispute since there is a disagreement over complete deletion of this whole article? — Missfixit1975 (talk) 18:03, 18 April 2018 (UTC)Missfixit1975
- The ridiculous spammy title was sufficient to condemn your article. When your company becomes notable enough that other people write about it in third-party independent reliable sources, then someone will be interested enough to write about it here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:05, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
The legal name of this corporation is "Buchalter, A Professional Corporation." I am sorry you find the legal name of a company a "ridiculous, spammy title". I am not sure how you reached that conclusion when numerous other businesses in this industry have pages with their legal name as the title. Numerous third-party independent, reliable sources have written about this particular company as it is a notable company. This could easily be confirmed. Furthermore, I found this company while looking through different articles that mentioned this law firm without an article for it, and felt the need to write one. — Missfixit1975 (talk) 18:36, 23 April 2018 (UTC)Missfitit1975

Hi, There are two expressway road projects between Mumbai and Nagpur cities, the newer and upcoming one is Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg. Talk:Cantor's diagonal argument/Arguments
Hi RHaworth. Please undo the deletion of talk:Cantor's diagonal argument/Arguments. It is not the talk page of a deleted page. It's a subpage of a talk page. Someone unfortunately added a corresponding mainspace page, which was then deleted. There is a current deletion discussion for the subpage of the talk page, but it is not completed, and indeed the sentiment seems to be against deletion. -- Trovatore (talk) 18:30, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
And actually, if you wouldn't mind, would you also please salt Cantor's diagonal argument/Arguments? There is no reason to have a page there in mainspace, and a lot of the recent trouble seems to have been caused by the spurious creation of the mainspace page. -- Trovatore (talk) 18:44, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

Watchlist
You people are causing unnecessary problems with your edits. The link to talk solved the problem but twice has been removed. Watchlist does not accept the talk page in it's current form, confusing people not used to the effect. It is thus on NO watchlist except mine. I tested this. It has been abandoned for 6 months for that reason and the 2 links to it are obscure. You will have us on the regular talk pages if you continue this way. Put the watchlist fix in and put in the links to it you people want. 1. On watchlist list it is red, not black 2. It does watchlist, but not to talk but to the page 3. Likewise when linking from watchlist watch.
It would be more appropriate if the pertinent page had two talk pages, is that doable? As for the arguments, only I correctly know how to disprove set theory cardinal infinity, the correct arguments in the talk page and elsewhere on the internet are half correct, no exception. Thus none of their arguments are appropriate for mainspace, only mine. Presumably thus that will continue for years after it is/isn't fixed. Victor Kosko (talk) 23:01, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Victor. Watchlists work just fine without a mainspace page. Talk:Cantor's diagonal argument/Arguments is on my watchlist, and it works fine.
- It's true that if you look at it under "View and edit watchlist", you see a redlink for the nonexistent mainspace page. I'm not sure I had ever noticed it before, but it is of no importance. The page in question is not the talk page of any page; rather it is a subpage of a talk page. There is no need for a corresponding mainspace page, and indeed it makes no sense for such a page to exist. --Trovatore (talk) 00:22, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of article
Greetings. The article "Monetary/fiscal debate" was speedily deleted. Immediately after noticing the nomination, I provided a rebuttal to it, which I believe covered the concerns about copyright violation. Yet without so much as a response by anyone, not the nominator, not the admin deleting the article, nor anyone else, the page was deleted. Can I at least have a post mortem justification for that action? I submit that the subject of the article is very important (and, of course, Wiki-notable) in Economics. - The Gnome (talk) 09:20, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

Yes, the full title is Monetary/fiscal policy debate. I'd like to know the reason my response was completely ignored. What we now have is a subject of quite some significance in Economics missing from Wikipedia. Not a very satisfactory situation, I'd say. -The Gnome (talk) 21:15, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

- (talk page stalker) @The Gnome and RHaworth: Probably because monetary policy and fiscal policy are two distinct things, plus there's already an article over fiscal policy debate. I would encourage The Gnome to make sure that he isn't creating a redundant content fork. It may only be appropriate to create a new article covering monetary policy debate, and incorporate anything instead pertaining to fiscal policy into that article. —Compassionate727 (T·C) 03:17, 28 April 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, Compassionate727. Just to clear any misunderstanding: The article I had created (but never owned, of course) has been reinstated and it is now titled "Fiscal policy debate". It's the very one!
- The title, by the way, is incorrect. The appropriate title for the article, as evidenced by the text, should reflect the debate that took place at the time between the respective merits and pitfalls of monetary policy versus fiscal policy, a debate that spawned a lot of interesting, even revelatory, work. As soon as I get some time off from real life :-) I'll change the title to something more appropriate, possibly the original one; as it now stands, a user will naturally understand that the article is about fiscal policy per se. It's not; it's about the AM/FM debates. Take care. -The Gnome (talk)

- Definately not notable for a Wikipedia page. Sorry. Legacypac (talk) 17:50, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
Do you guys think that the company on which there is an international case study is not considered to be notable? Hearty Mart has been an international case study for the business students studying in India and Europe. Also, a well-known book has been published on this topic. It's like you guys, don't know about the company so you have been asking for its notability and declining the article. — JP2300 (talk) 05:17, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- I know what case studies are, and no, being used as a case study or being featured in a book is NOT enough to make the business Wiki notable. Why do you care so much about this one business getting a page? If the business becomes notable someone without an agenda will write about it. — Legacypac (talk) 05:54, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
I have no agenda behind writing this page and I am just familiar with the concept of Hearty Mart and so wanted to contribute by writing about it on Wikipedia. It seems that you cant get your head around the fact that someone wants to write about an organisation just for the sake of contribution and may not necessarily have an agenda behind it. Have a good day! — JP2300 (talk) 09:55, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
Hey RHaworth, Why have you given my sandbox for the nomination of deleting that? What have I done now? I have neither created a page article nor I have done anything that is promoting the organisation? Why is my sandbox page now getting deleted? — JP2300 (talk) 10:37, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- JP2300, I am not "you guys" and in any case, what is your definition of "you guys" in this context? Please reply. I am trying to work out your MO. You have done two pointless edits in mainspace and uploaded and blanked essays on privacy in India, Teresa Thatcher vs. Margaret May and the French economy. On the basis of these edits I would say that you are blatantly using Wikipedia as a free host. (I also see essays being submitted by Anoushkashah78 (talk · contribs) and Anupriya Maliwal (talk · contribs) who you probably know. ) As to draft:Hearty Mart which you created with Furqaan jafri (talk · contribs) and Rajshah7 (talk · contribs), I have restored this for the moment, not because I think it is worthy of mainspace but because, now I look at it, I cannot understand the speedy tag. Why did you delete Zero Trust?
Zero Trust Network: Why did you delete this? This is a current and emerging topic in cyber security. Multiple vendors and military users rely on this technology. Advertising or promotion of what? There is no product nor vendor being promoted. Zero Trust does not pertain to any specific vendor. The concept was originated by an industry analyst. Multiple vendors, NIST and other large cyber security organizations use this term. If you know the cybersecurity space, you know this is correct. Who were these editors please? I don't see it. 20JacksonP (talk) 19:06, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- Whichever editor tagged it for deletion and the Admin thst deleted it. It's a Newtwork which is a type of organization which can be promoted. — Legacypac (talk) 19:10, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- I have to disagree with Legacypac on this. I could not immediately see any specific advertising - you shot yourself in the foot by putting capitals on trust and network. However I did see a total lack of any attempt to use Wikipedia standards - horrible shouting, no section headings, not a single wikilink, indeed, worse, use of Wikipedia as references, etc. Learn our standards then try again. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:03, 24 April 2018 (UTC)

Bad job
Hello RHaworth, Wishing to get deleted article in mail and create article title in same name with modified content ( don't ruin tiresome research) Good day, hope this message finds you well around. If you go through my activities history on Wikipedia, you may not find an extraordinary contributor but can't also ignore my contribution as you believe here Wiki is life here.
By the way, After doing tiresome research I have created an article for Bdjobs.com that is one of most googled job portal in Bangladesh. But no reliable content was available for this company. So, I intended to gather information for this organization to help people who look for it.
But unfortunately, the article has been tagged with speedy deletion because of writing tone and lack of resource link. Hereafter that, I did more research and grab lots of proper reference link and change the way of writing that will not violate any Wiki rules. So, I will be happy to get the previous content in email for further improvement and create the article title again. Thank you very much — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moshiur meraj (talk • contribs) 08:13, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) the page was excessively promotional in tone. It is not create protected (you need to be an Admin here to start the page). You could start in Draft at WP:AfC and be sure to disclose any WP:COI if you connected to the business. — Legacypac (talk) 08:18, 24 April 2018 (UTC)

Greenwich Music School
Hi, please could I have access to draft:Greenwich Music School so that further references including from national organisations Music Mark [8] and Classical Music magazine [9] can be added to demonstrate notability, and the article rewritten as necessary to disprove the speedy deletion criteria of Unambiguous advertising or promotion? — Wiki-edit-3457 (talk) 22:37, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- User:Wiki-edit-3457 It's a new music school for young kids. One exists in every small city. There is no way this is going to pass W:N or WP:CORPDEPTH. Wasting your time trying to promote this on Wikipedia. — Legacypac (talk) 22:41, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
It's a registered charity [10] which runs several programmes including a professional training course with international reach (London Conducting Academy), and other courses and training for people of all ages, including training for music teachers. Hello Roger. This user has recreated their userpage as a WP:FAKEARTICLE for the 4th time [11] (you deleted it twice before). He also blanked my userpage in retaliation [12], offered a feeble apology for it [13] after being admonished by Cahk [14], then almost immediately blanked all the prior warnings [15]. Module:IPAc-en/pronunciation-testcases
Thank you for taking care of my speedy deletion request at Module:IPAc-en/pronunciation-testcases/doc, but I'm afraid you seem to have missed the whole point of the request. What I requested to be deleted is Module:IPAc-en/pronunciation-testcases. Since a module cannot contain a template, I placed the speedy deletion template at the /doc page, which is then transcluded in its parent. Heya, New to Wikipedia. I note that you deleted a page that I was working on. Please restore it. The law is an important part of society and lawyers are the actors in the law. Legal history gives people insights into how the law works that may not be apparent from case reports and pieces of legislation. As you may have noticed from the draft that you deleted, specific cases had been used as section headings. I note that Wikipedia is full of pages relating to law firms. Some have more useful information and some have less. If you decide not to restore it, please return the draft materials to me (mithdol@yahoo.co.uk). Additionally, if you decide not to restore it then please consider why the pages of so many law firms, companies and other entities are on Wikipedia. Stop deleting copyvios
Please just stop. I was looking into Draft:Vaadin Framework and was getting a second opinion when you deleted it. It was/is a reverse copyvio. You keep doing this, and quite frankly it's starting to piss me off. I could care less about the other categories, but please leave the G12's alone - I regularly patrol that category and it rarely gets above a handful of pages (which I clear out as soon as I see them). Primefac (talk) 14:06, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
- Primefac, so which other {{db-copyvio}} deletions of mine do you object to? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:27, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- Well, there's the page we discussed a month ago, where it appeared that you didn't bother checking to see if it was actually copyvio. And now this page, where it appears you didn't a) see the "checking" tag on the page, or b) see the talk page notice as to why it looked like a copyvio in the first place. There are a handful others, but they were of the sort where it was a borderline case and while I could have restored and salvaged a paragraph or two, it wasn't worth the hassle and to be honest I don't have the time or energy to sort through your G12s to find them.
- I know two pages out of the hundreds we both delete every month is a relatively small number, but my main concern is that it seems like you're just clicking "delete" simply because there's a tag on the page. I'm no fan of useless garbage either, but I know enough to at least check a claim before taking action.
- At the very least, could I request that if you see a G12 with the
|checking=yes
ticked, that you leave it for a bit so whichever admin is checking can actually check it? Primefac (talk) 13:35, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

- In two years with thousands of edits you have not learned that when you talk about pages you bracket their titles with [[]] not '''' . In borderline cases like this, it is a bit of a lottery as to whether they will be spotted by deletionists. Suggestions:
- Simply re-submit via AfC so that the past history is not so obvious. Possibly wait six months before doing so.
- The rule book says that refs to paper sources are just as valid as to web sources. So go out to a big library and hunt through newspapers of the period to find glowing reviews. Then re-submit via AfC.
- (Hoping no-one else is reading this.) Invent some credible-looking refs to newspaper articles and re-submit. Is anybody going to check them?
- Decide that the movie is not actually notable and give up.

- I thought there was a mechanism that hides T3 deletion for seven days before they come to the eyes of trigger-happy people like me. Speedy Deletion of legitimate page. American Litho
Hi,
Why was the page I created for American Litho deleted? It says you nominated it for speedy deletion.
I created the page following the same format as other companies in my area with an existing page.
I believe my page was flagged unjustly, as it is not advertising. I purposely removed any "advertising" language and only included company history and milestones, with external citations to reputable industry trade publications mentioning the company.
Did you even read the article? I would at least like my work back for a future version. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Swanny913 (talk • contribs) 17:12, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
