Copyright problem: Draft:Electraesalopsis
Hello Leomk0403! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Draft:Electraesalopsis, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted material from other websites or printed works. This article appears to contain work copied from https://zenodo.org/record/4617001#.YX1MsLcpCdM, and therefore to constitute a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policies. - Have the author release the text under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License (CC BY-SA 3.0) by leaving a message explaining the details at Draft talk:Electraesalopsis and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-enwikimedia.org". - If you hold the copyright to the work: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License and GNU Free Documentation License, and note that you have done so on Draft talk:Electraesalopsis. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted "under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), version 3.0", or that the work is released into the public domain, or if you have strong reason to believe it is, leave a note at Draft talk:Electraesalopsis with a link to where we can find that note or your explanation of why you believe the content is free for reuse.
It may also be necessary for the text to be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

Welcome aboard matey!
Ahoy! Welcome aboard the SS Wikipedia, it do be yer captain speaking! You are hereby commissioned into CaptainEek's crew as a deckhand. If ye be crafty and good at catching sources, it won't be long before you graduate with a captainship of yer own.
Nah but seriously, glad to have you as an adoptee, you look like you care and want to get more involved. I'm excited to work with you. For adoption, I think one of the best ways I can help you is to have you work on articles, at your own pace, and I can help you through the process. That means I can guide you on sourcing, formatting, content philosophy, and more. So if you could provide a list of 3-5 subjects, either with existing articles or that you'd like to create, we can go from there! If you'd like to get involved in backend type work, we can also explore that, but I think having a solid grasp of content creation is critical first.
As an immediate thing I can help with, I see you would like to do a GA review. The GA review instructions aren't super thorough unfortunately, so there are some hidden secrets about how to do one. For starters, I recommend you look at some past GA reviews. See this one I reviewed Talk:Purple-crowned fairywren/GA1, and these two that I wrote and others reviewed: Talk:Cactus wren/GA1 and Talk:Vermilion flycatcher/GA1. You'll see that GA reviews vary in length and structure, but all should include feedback on problems to be fixed. When doing a review, I would read through the whole article and write feedback in the GA page as I go. Then once you're done giving feedback on all the various aspects, give the other person a reasonable amount of time to implement your changes, or to explain why they think the changes aren't necessary. For Pale mountain pigeon, I have suggested that I watch over your review and point things out as you go to help you learn the process. So if that works for you, you should go back and write a thorough and full review of pale mountain pigeon.
Whenever you want me to look at something, make sure you ping me or drop a note on my talk page. Smooth sailing, CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 06:43, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

Taxonomy style
Hi. Thanks for your articles on Cosmophasis species. A couple of points. {{Speciesbox}} uses 'genus' and 'species' parameters; 'parent' is used for rank when genus is not the parent, usually subgenus for zoological articles. Also, the ranks of genus and below should be italicised. Ranks above genus should not be. Some of my edits are stylistic, but there seems to be a generally accepted style for taxonomy articles. Hello Leomk0403,
Nice work on the Platycephalus endrachtensis article. I'd like to review it for your DYK nomination, but it would be good if you could add a reference for the common names you added (flathead,bar-tail flathead, flag-tail flathead, northern sand flathead, northern-flag tailed flathead, sand flathead, western estuary flathead, yellowtail flathead, yellowtailed flathead) that you added on 29 November 2021. - This is not allowed (people are free to remove posts from their user talk page, there is no requirement that they archive it: but you are not allowed to undo such removal) and hardly useful (editor hasn't edited since August, why do you care for that message even)?
- This was hardly necessary (editing an archive from 2009) and didn't even work: either you make such an edit and make sure it works, or you can't get it to work and you revert yourself, or (in this case best) just don't make that edit at all.
In general, way too many of your edits are unwanted busy-body work, things which are at best not necessary or helpful at all, and at worst are not allowed and need to be reverted. Please stop making such edits, and stick to uncontroversial or necessary edits. Fram (talk) 12:28, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

Draftifying Insects in Japanese culture
Hello Leomk0403,
I apologize to be telling you this but your actions by abruptly publishing of my previous draft that I had left for a week for the purpose of studying for my final exams has made me genuinely quite frustrated with this turn of events. Since I have no choice, I am proposing a draftifying on the page through AfD and I would respectfully request that you please be patient next time, and please inform me as the article was barely midway done by the time you had submitted it and I had no idea this was even happening in the first place. Use Automatic taxobox for complex cases
Hi, just to note that although normally {{Speciesbox}} is used for species, for special cases, e.g. with non-standard binomials, you use {{Automatic taxobox}}. See Wikipedia:Automated taxobox system/which, where one case ends "NO – use {{Speciesbox}} (unless the species name isn't a straightforward binomial in which case use {{Automatic taxobox}})". Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at A. amabilis (disambiguation). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Fram (talk) 14:34, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Fram: How is it unconstructive? Maybe I don't know how to operate that script. Leomk0403 (Don't shout here, Shout here!) 00:53, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- It is unconstructive because it is not allowed to have double redirects, these get reverted by a bot anyway if I wouldn't do it, you were aware of this because of the previou section, and you continued to do this even after the above message and your question. If you continue like this, I will ask that you are somehow restricted from using this tool, by blocks if necessary. You should never redirect to another redirect, and there is no excuse for changing working redirects into such things. Fram (talk) 08:49, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- It was made before the previous warning, and I know what happened. I was trying to make a new redirect with Sagittarius, but i got it the wrong way round.Leomk0403 (Don't shout here, Shout here!) 08:53, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- That's not true. You first made this change the 13th, which I reverted. You again made it the 14th, which I reverted and for which I posted the previous section "Redirecting to itself". You then again made this change on the 15th, which I reverted and left the above warning for. And then you replied here, and made the same incorrect edit on 6 redirects to Asynchrony. You were not "trying to make a new redirect", these recent changes were from existing pages to existing pages. Fram (talk) 09:07, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- Ah, it was a part of a dab script. Leomk0403 (Don't shout here, Shout here!) 09:09, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
DYK for Platycephalus endrachtensis
On 17 December 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Platycephalus endrachtensis, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the specific epithet of Platycephalus endrachtensis is from an old word for Australia? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Platycephalus endrachtensis. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Platycephalus endrachtensis), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Tagging pages for speedy deletion
Hello, Leomk0403,
Please review Criteria for Speedy Deletion so you better understand the different criteria and which name space they apply to.
Also, a reminder that any time you tag a page for deletion (CSD, PROD, AFD/RFD/TFD/etc.), you need to post a notification on the talk page of the page creator. This is made easier if you use Twinkle and set up your Twinkle Preferences to "Notify page creator", then Twinkle will post these notices for you. Also, when you open Twinkle to tag a page, it shows you what criteria are possible for that page and you select which one(s) apply. It really helps make these taggings easier. Liz Read!

Frasserc (talk) 17:34, 16 January 2022 (UTC)I do not agree with the claim. I am not trying to share research with anyone. What I am trying to do is to enrich the content of the page called "geodetic graphs" so that is much more interesting and people are aware of the applications related to the topic.
Link on geodetic graphs
[2][3]Frasserc (talk) 03:45, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Adding 3 new sources of references (Authors Frasser and Vostrov) that can be useful for a better description of the problems related to classification of geodetic graphs. Dear Leo, I am a new user and I did not know I had to report any changes. I am sorry. In the future, it will not be happening again. Carlos Frasser. [4]
- @Frasser: One problem. These look like your research. Although it is reliable, it can be considered spam. Because of this, can you provide why we should add it, and not something else? Is there any new research?Leomk0403 (Don't shout here, Shout here!)
Frasserc (talk) 14:43, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Dear Leo: The page contains one very big question mark ?: Unsolved problem in mathematics: Are there infinitely many strongly regular geodetic graphs? One of the articles is related to the topic. It does not answer the question because it is a difficult problem to solve, but deals with the problem of enumerating specific classes of these graphs. The other 2 articles deal with the problem of their application to solving other problems in mathematics and computer science. Those 2 articles are important because they deal with the problem of constructing computer networks of optimum performance, which is related to the problem of enumeration. Solving the last, it is possible to solve the others also. I am adding one more new article that is not mine, but deals with the same problem of classifying geodetic graphs that remains unresolved up to this time. I think it is worth it to add the four articles as references for another authors that are not specialized in the topic but interested in the subsequent developments of this research problem.
- Wikipedia is not to share research. That is for Wikisource. However, the source about the problem can be included in a "See also" section. Leomk0403 (Don't shout here, Shout here!) 02:49, 16 January 2022 (UTC)

Moving files to Commons
There was no reason to move File:CofRE mobile view 1.jpg to Commons, as it's self-evidently an {{esoteric file}} only relevant to a narrow enwiki use case. I've now added a template to that end, although it's a bit late now. It's worth considering that most local file uploads are done intentionally (the File Upload Wizard directs free images to Commons, so you have to go out of your way and use a process only evident to experienced users to upload a free image locally), so mass-moving them isn't always a good idea, especially if the uploader is active and could be asked why it was uploaded locally.
