Relationship with cows
[edit]When I was a young boy in the late 1950s, my grandfather would take me for walks through cow pastures in the early autumn/fall. He would encourage me to go up to a cow lying on the ground and slap it on the rump, whereupon it would grumpily stand up and walk away. There would often be field mushrooms to be found where the cow had been lying. Does anybody have anecdotal memories about this stuff? Are there any relevent WP:RS? --Ef80 (talk) 21:40, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
