2013

[edit]

Kelvinsong – January 13, 2013

[edit]

EricEnfermero – January 20, 2013

[edit]
  • Ha! I've actually given umpiring a go in two separate seasons, though never higher than high school ball. I love the rules, but it turns out that I'm terrible at calling the bang-bang plays. I guess you can say I feel their pain. Thanks for the kind words! EricEnfermero Howdy! 21:29, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Coal town guy – January 27, 2013

[edit]

Benzband – February 10, 2013

[edit]

Wetman – February 17, 2013

[edit]
  • Well, I've laughed out loud editing at Wikipedia (thank you especially Giano), and I've paced up and down furiously at Wikipedia (though not lately) but this is the first time I've teared up...--Wetman (talk) 04:30, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Another Believer – March 3, 2013

[edit]

Sagaciousphil – March 17, 2013

[edit]
  • I'm absolutely speechless and believe me, that doesn't happen often! I don't know what to say, except 'Thank you' - you have just made a truly horrendous day become bright.......now I'll have to go and find a box of tissues because I think I'm going to cry (in the nicest way possible). Thank you so much. SagaciousPhil - Chat 16:58, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm going into 'celebrity at the Oscars' mode now - wow, thank you, thank you - but I couldn't have done anything without the help and support that I've had from so many people (especially Yunshui, he's been a brilliant mentor and provides a shoulder to cry on when needed). I really cannot believe this....... SagaciousPhil - Chat 17:05, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi, I just came over here (EotW talk) to thank you all once again - I still can't believe I was nominated but I really don't seem to have dreamed it as it's still on my talk/user page this morning SagaciousPhil - Chat 10:34, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi Ryan, thanks for dropping by and how lovely of you to say that! It still gives me 'goose bumps' and makes me smile to think about how wonderful it was to be nominated, let alone awarded EoTW! SagaciousPhil - Chat 09:09, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • This is one I'm definitely not hiding away! It certainly makes me feel honoured (and humbled, too).

BlueMoonset – March 24, 2013

Surtsicna – March 31, 2013

[edit]

Anna Frodesiak – April 8, 2013

Thank you all so much. This is the nicest thing ever!!! Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:40, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Anne Delong – April 15, 2013

[edit]

Well, I take the afternoon off to go to a jam session, and look what happens! Thanks, everyone. —Anne Delong (talk) 02:43, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

PS - none of the skinny young musicians in that photo look anything like me! —Anne Delong (talk) 17:16, 15 April 2013 (UTC) (Anne is referring to the generic photo used for the infobox. It was changed to one of her choosing.)[reply]

Tomobe03 – April 21, 2013

[edit]
  • Thank you for the kind thought re the EotW nomination. I was really surprised to see the message just few minutes ago - it really means a lot to me.--Tomobe03 (talk) 17:20, 21 April 2013 (UTC) (From her nominators talk page)[reply]
  • Thank you all for your kind words. This is really a great incentive to keep contributing to wiki!--Tomobe03 (talk) 10:57, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks! I like the infobox, but the surprising gesture and kind words are all the incentive one may ever hope for. I've never stumbled upon the EotW project before, but it sure looks like a great idea. I might have an idea for a nom or two down the road. Cheers!--Tomobe03 (talk) 16:30, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Note--User Tomobe03 did in fact nominate an editor for the Award.

FeydHuxtable – April 28, 2013

[edit]

~blushing~ Thanks all! I really appreciate this award. Buster, thanks especially for the very kind nomination, and I'm equally honored to count you as a wiki friend too. I'm not sure I deserve to be called a man of Peace, but it's nice to hear :-) . FeydHuxtable (talk) 08:17, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks again all. It's especially good to know about the community portal. I hope it raises awareness of the mighty Article Rescue Squad, a project that contains several editors who are much better model wikipedians than me.
  • This editor of the week initiative has to be the single greatest wiki invention since barnstars, if not since ever! FeydHuxtable (talk) 07:55, 5 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delaywaves – March 5, 2013

[edit]
  • Wow, thank you so much everyone! I certainly wasn't expecting this. AS, Phightins, and Buster, all of your contributions are incredibly valuable as well, so it means a tremendous amount to have this coming from you. As the box above says, this selection shows that my work hasn't gone completely unrecognized, and that's all I can really ask for. Thanks again for your incredibly kind words! Delaywaves • talk 23:36, 5 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Again, thanks so much everyone! Delaywaves • talk 02:44, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

Dismas – May 12, 2013

[edit]
  • Thanks! I was unaware that this EotW program existed until I was nominated. I spend a lot of my time both in my professional life and in volunteering (in my non-electronic life) doing things behind the scenes. So, it's nice to see some recognition for my work at Wikipedia which I also view as helping out behind the scenes. After all, I'm not making featured articles or uploading mesmerizing photos. I appreciate the acknowledgement of time and efforts here. Thanks again! Dismas|(talk) 18:22, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yzx – May 27, 2013

[edit]

Petrarchan47 – June 2, 2013

[edit]

Cerebellum – June 9. 2013

[edit]

GregorB – June 16, 2013

[edit]
  • Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it... And I'm a bit embarrassed too, because - try as I may - I can only hope to be the second greatest editor WP Croatia has to offer, if you get my drift. :-) GregorB (talk) 20:26, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Chiswick Chap – June 23, 2013

[edit]
  • That's really kind of you. I'm honoured and delighted. Thank you all. Chiswick Chap (talk) 06:46, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

After Admins D Brown and Worm comment, Editor Chiswick responds;

  • That's really nice of both of you to say so. Thank you. Chiswick Chap (talk) 14:41, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

Philipmj24 – June 30, 2013

[edit]
  • Thanks to everyone on the EotW staff, I really wasn't expecting this! This really is a great project to recognize the "unknown" editors on Wikipedia and I'm honored to be a part of it. Keep up the good work everyone! Philipmj24 (talk) 11:16, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ignatzmice – July 7, 2013

[edit]
  • D'awwww, thanks! Now I'll have to actually re-start doing some of those things... my theme is "scattered", it seems. And I'll be really busy at work this week, too. Cheers! Ignatzmice•talk 22:33, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

John of Reading – July 14, 2013

[edit]
  • Well well! Thank you, Sophus Bie, for your nomination, and thank you, The Interior, for presenting this award. Thank you for noticing! -- John of Reading (talk) 07:02, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

Ammodramus – July 28, 2013

[edit]
  • I'm floored. I hadn't known about this award, and having read through the previous recipients, I'm humbled by the company in which I find myself. Thanks to Khazar2 for the tremendous compliment of the nomination, and to The Interior for presenting it. Now I'm going to have to increase my efforts considerably in order to deserve it... Ammodramus (talk) 23:38, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Obiwankenobi – August 4, 2013

[edit]
  • Aww shucks. That is far too kind. Thank you Drmies, and supporters of my nomination, it is greatly appreciated and brought a smile to my face.--Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 16:24, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Titodutta – August 11, 2013

[edit]

Indian Chronicles – August 18, 2013

[edit]

Gandydancer – August 25, 2013

[edit]
  • Thanks for considering me a good editor. I think I'm a good editor too, but I feel a little embarrassed to receive this. I LOVE Wikipedia, and I use Wikipedia for the research that I do for the articles that I work on. Some of the articles are so well done, Moni's Emmitt Till and Amazing Grace for example, that they have rightly had almost no further edits, but others are a result of many good editors. They are good and they keep getting better. I know that there are hundreds and thousands of editors that deserve a special mention much more than I do. So, keeping in mind that I merely represent the hundreds of unsung editors, which I believe is the intent of this award, thank you so much. Gandydancer (talk) 21:16, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mohamed CJ – September 1, 2013

[edit]

Wow. I'm very humbled by your kind words, Khazar. It is a very nice surprise and I thank you very much for your words. I consider my self too lucky to have edited here, and especially lucky to have you as a friend. I shall keep this one on my user page. My thanks is also extended to everyone at WP:Editor of the Week and WP:Editor Retention. Your project is not misguided nor a waste of time as some editors have said. Instead I find it as a motivation to keep my contributions coming forward. Mohamed CJ (talk) 16:12, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Batard0 – September 8, 2013

[edit]

Wow. Thanks so much! I'm speechless. I had no idea! --Batard0 (talk) 12:42, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Eric Corbett – September 15, 2013

[edit]

How extraordinary and completely unexpected! Thanks Drmies. Do I get special privileges for the week, such a dispensation from 3RR? God knows, I could certainly do with one. Eric Corbett 20:26, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

MusiCitizen – September 22, 2013

[edit]

I want to express you my deepest gratitude for your sincere appreciation of my work. Cheers, and keep your mind sharp and a healthy body. MusiCitizen (talk) 16:02, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Brambleberry of RiverClan – October 6, 2013

[edit]

Thank you so much for making me Editor of the Week. öBrambleberry of RiverClan 12:52, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Gwillhickers – October 20, 2013

[edit]

Many many thanks for all involved with the award. Sometimes when I write history articles I wonder if they'll ever be read and appreciated. It's an inspiration and nice to know someone out there notices and cares enough to say so. !! Cheers !! -- Gwillhickers 19:58, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nishidani – October 27, 2013

[edit]

For the honour bestowed on my page. Scrolling up quickly and one would note many more meritorious candidates who help me along, like Zero, Johnuniq and many others. I particularly prized the Palestinian stamp, with dual Hebrew and Arabic lettering, from 1941, in the award. It may be unlikely, but to my mind, that is symbolic of the harmonious parity that sad area deserved, and still deserves. Best Nishidani (talk) 13:55, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • The award has actually stayed my hand from complete withdrawal, since rather than a gesture of flattery, I took it as a reminder I had obligations to fellow-editors and to pages, particularly in the I/P area which has a high attrition or AE ban rate. I may not be able to come up to their expectations, but though semi-retired, I have decided to keep my hand in, and, at the least, be on call. If there's a template for that half-way house, I'll replace the one I have.Nishidani (talk) 12:20, 13 December 2013

Ssriram mt – November 10, 2013

[edit]

Thanks a lot for User:Redtigerxyz for nominating me and others for getting me to this. Before today, I don't even know about this. Wikipedia has provided me lots and lots of learning and it has been my pleasure contributing to such a top-class knowledge forum. Thanks again.Ssriram mt (talk) 17:45, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Derek R Bullamore – December 22, 2013

[edit]

Good grief! What a shock and very pleasant surprise rolled into one. Frankly, I did not know such an award existed, which makes the honour even more special. Thanks for nominating me - although that leaves me with a lot to live up to !! Thank you all, Derek R Bullamore 11:07, 25 January 2014

[edit]

Neonblak – January 5, 2014

[edit]

Thank you very much for the honor ! It actually feels pretty good to be recognized in this way. I was completely unaware of this project as well as my nomination. Thank you to all involved, and especially to the editor who nominated me (though I do not know who that is at the moment). I generally keep a very low profile, and spend most of time editing 19th-century baseball articles. When I began, the Old-time Base Ball project page looked like this, now it's this. I try to be helpful even though my editing becomes sporadic at times. I will continue my pursuits in making this online encyclopedia the best it can be...and free! Neonblak talk - 04:05, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Muboshgu – January 12, 2014

Cwmhiraeth – February 2, 2014

[edit]

This is a great honour and comes completely unexpectedly. I much enjoy playing my small part in this great encyclopaedic project. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:22, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fenix down – February 16, 2014

[edit]

Thank you very much guys for the award, it was a really nice surprise and a great thing to have on WP. I'm having a lot of fun creating these articles and expanding on a basically empty part of WP and it is great to know that at least a couple of people are aware of their existence! I do have to also pass on my thanks to Editor Ezhiki for all his advice since I started writing articles on Russian places and for tirelessly going around correcting the many little errors I make! Fenix down (talk) 16:44, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Zeorymer – February 23, 2014

[edit]

I wish to thank you and Wikipedia for obtaining the status of Editor of the Week. I will endeavor to meet the level of discourse, continue to contribute and advance the aims of this project. I believe in Wikipedia's goals and hope to continue to be a part of content development for some time. Thank you for your recognition. ruben jc ZEORYMER (talk) 23 February 2014 (UTC)

DrGregMN – April 6, 2014

Thanks, everyone, for the nomination and the kind comments. I'm sure there are other editors out there who are working as diligently and are more deserving than deserving than me. DrGregMM 4/9/2014

Gracefool – April 13, 2014

[edit]

Thanks heaps, what a nice surprise! Pretty random though, how did you even find me? There are so many great editors to choose from. I see these go up on the responses page, so while I have a sandbox, check out the policy section on my userpage re my thoughts on what we need to do to make Wikipedia a friendlier place. And thanks for doing your bit to encourage us old hands. ··gracefool 13:55, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We hope – May 4, 2014

[edit]

Thank you for nominating me as Editor of the Week! Right now, I'm also working on Red Skelton, hoping to take it to GA and trying to touch all of the "bases" for his bio, so I sort of "commute" between here and Commons. :) This gives me a big boost to get Skelton done and off to GA! Thanks again! We hope (talk) 21:19, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for your kind words! I started working on this when I realized how many WP pages had no photos; now it's sometimes hard to put "on hold" for article editing. :) Thanks again! We hope (talk) 22:54, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Jytdog – May 11, 2014

[edit]

Thank you! And thanks to User:Epipelagic for the nomination as well. I will have to be sure to pass this on; there are editors more deserving than me. Jytdog (talk) 12:23, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Editor Jytdog did, in fact, pass it on and nominated a fellow editor.

Boleyn – May 18, 2014

[edit]

Thank you so much! --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 05:32, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! That was definitely a rough dark period (early Wikipedia days) and I realised that the work I was doing was not really my thing; I'm glad I found WikiProject Shakira as it helped me use my skills in a good efficient manner. Thank you again! --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 19:24, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Coretheapple – June 8, 2014

Dr. Blofeld – August 24, 2014

[edit]

That's mighty kind of you, and much appreciated thanks!! Thanks User John Carter for your kind words, means a lot coming from somebody with such a high IQ of 166! It's often difficult to know where to start with wikipedia, should we concentrate solely on existing articles and quality, or create new stubs with some very basic info towards the knowledge cause? I'm in either frame of mind at different times, at the moment I see some gaping holes and feel like stubbing, but generally I try to balance what I do on here, and that includes reviewing and that as mentioned too. Thanks again!♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:50, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Maile66 – September 7, 2014

[edit]

WikiGnoming is one of the most satisfying tasks on Wikipedia, IMO. I feel humbled, considering User:Matty.007 is one of those "endangered species" of good editors who should be retained, and is currently undecided on whether to stay or go. But kudos to this project. We need more and more efforts to retain editors. Thanks for this acknowledgement. — Maile (talk) 14:01, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, thank you guys, and especially to User:Mkativerata for the very kind nomination. I will definitely have to display this on my user page alongside my barnstar. Like Mkativerata, I didn't know this award and project existed and it is nice to receive something positive instead of being involved in wearying debates on talk pages. • My immediate reaction to so many notifications when I logged in was "Oh no! what have I done now?" If I was ever aware of this award, I had completely forgotten about it, so it is more than a surprise and astonishing that it should be awarded to me. Thank you Sagaciousphil for nominating me and to all who have posted congratulations. I haven't done much recently but I did log in, book in hand, to add some information and maybe start a new article. Thank you, it's great to be appreciated.. Carptrash – February 15, 2015

[edit]

Thank you everyone and all who stumble across this. It will eventually make its way over to my User Page. First tho, I have cataract and glaucoma surgery in a few weeks to get through. Buster, in his generous note, mentions our list. For me that project was a god send because I could do a lot of work using a magnifying glass - since what I was engaged in was essentially data entry from one or two sources to wikipedia. However more complex editing is sort of out-of-reach for a bit and so receiving this very meaningful award is a very gratifying way to slip into semi-retirement until surgery, recovery and then new glasses have done what they are going to do. Few of us (wikipedia editors) do what we do for the recognition involved so when something like this comes along it is - for me at least - doubly or triply - significant. To Editors Go Phightins!, Buster7, Lixxx235, Dennis Brown, John Carter, MelanieN and Skr15081997. Gosh. Thanks for the nomination, User:Jim Carter. This was a nice surprise to come back to! Thanks for the appreciation!! I find that the first attempt at featured list is the hardest and can be the most demoralising if it doesn't work out. I try to help out especially on things like copyediting and prose which can be an unfortunate barrier for our many editors (including myself) who have English as a second language. Thanks again! [edit]

Wow, thank you User:John Carter and User:Go Phightins!. To say I'm surprised is an understatement. Most of my edits, like to categories, are not very visible and go unnoticed. This is quite an honor considering the caliber of editors who have received this award in the past. Thanks again! Liz Read! Talk! 19:25, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, this is an unexpected honor. WP:EOTW says "Recipients aren't expected to be positively perfect in every way", and boy, they got that right! It gives me great pleasure to see my name up there with the great users that have already been honored. [edit]

Thanks, everyone! Have to say this is unexpected, because I don't have an enormous edit count, an extensive collection of acronym-enhanced articles, and tend to have my own opinions about the status of the project. Intothatdarkness 13:48, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Buffaboy – June 7, 2015

[edit]

Unbelievable! I had no idea such an award like this even existed, nor would I have thought I would receive one; I'm humbled. I joined a about 4 years ago just to play around with Wikipedia, and I started a WikiProject in 2012. Last year I went off to Utica, and noticed its article, which I thought could be improved to look like WP:USCITIES. As I was doing this, as John from Idegon pointed out, we had an SPA problem which caused me to overreact and manually undo each edit. I soon discovered rollback and revision revert, and used them to my advantage. Sections of the article felt bloated without citations. I trimmed them down, and in the process of rebuilding them, I noticed the article's "further reading" section was actually a list of general references! I would use these the next few months and the rest is history. Once again, thanks to everyone who supported me for this award and also thanks to Herostratus, who commended me early in the process and kept a watchful eye over the article before the vandalism. My work isn't done either, there are plenty more New York State geography and place articles to improve! Buffaboy talk 14:01, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Bishonen, Buster7, L235 and Yash!, thanks a lot for this great honor! Actually I`d have preferred this award to be coupled with that of the bunny of the month, but it does not matter, I am happy also to celebrate alone... :-) As kleine dankeschön, I am dedicating to all of you my freshly baked last article, with the secret hope that someone takes the burden of copyediting it (being an Italian, I am aware that this is not an easy task). Completely out of the blue comes an important, humbling honour, all the more meaningful because my nominator, Nishidani is widely recognised as one of our finest intellectuals and a gentleman of remarkable qualities. To have equally, such an esteemed colleague as Malik Shabazz offering thoughtful congratulations just added to the honour. Deep appreciation to L235 for having the confidence in me in addition. I will continue to help newcomers and indeed all colleagues, as much as I can, and will continue to try to make the place a little less scary to newcomers. WOW, I did not see this one coming. I am honored and deeply touched and want to thank everyone involved (especially the nominator and seconder, naturally ). I can think of maybe a dozen active math editors who are probably more worthy of this than I am–but heh, I'm going to enjoy it while I can. Just one comment for the Editor Retention WikiProject, I've been a very active editor for a couple of years now, so how come I've never heard about this Editor of the Week program? Perhaps it is because I don't stick my nose outside of the math pages very much, but then again there are probably many worthy editors who specialize in this way ... just saying. • Thanks Buster7 and John from Idegon. I don't know what to say, I'm greatly honoured and just thank you, thank you, thank you so much for nominating me for Editor of the Week. Thank you for your kind words and for recognising my efforts, this means a lot to me. I have come across many school article issues where I needed your help and you've always been there to help me for which I am grateful, an excellent coordinator of the WikiProject and a great editor to work with. I've not really had much thought about creating a userpage, but I'm going to create one so I can display this, thank you! :) -Steven (Editor) (talk) 23:29, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Steven, I've been involved in the Editor of the Week project for quite a while and have nominated several people. This award was originally intended for editor's just like you, who exemplify the Wiki spirit and do the needed things without the glory of DYK's, GA's and FA's on their userpage. This place stops working just as soon as people like you stop doing what you do. And thank you so much for choosing the school project to do most of it in! • Oh my goodness! This is incredible! Thank you so much! Wikipedia is really something I do a lot, but it's not something I really talk about with other people, and when I do, people don't tend to understand the passion I have for helping improve this public knowledge repository. It's such an honor to be recognized in this way. So many (good) feelings! Significa liberdade (talk) 15:45, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Holy cake, this is a surprise. And it's nice to get it after coming out. Ironically, my latest GA is from Canada! :D In the time since the nomination was made in May, I've added another 23 GAs. Thank you FormalDude and seconds :) Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 16:39, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • That was incredibly kind and I really do appreciate it. I honestly never expected to get something like this. I am honestly very grateful and appreciative of my time on Wikipedia. I have met so many great people and it is a really great community. Thank you to FormalDude for seconding the nomination and to Buster7 for the message. I try my best on here. and it is really thanks to the wonderful people I've talked to and worked with over the years (and it is still crazy to me how many years it has been already). Hope you are all doing well. Aoba47 (talk) 17:25, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you! I really appreciate that, and it really does help me to feel better and more confident about my work on here (as incredibly lame as that is lol). I hope you are doing well! Aoba47 (talk) 17:20, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Buster7, Unlimitedlead, Aza24, and AirshipJungleman29. Wow! This is a huge surprise and a complete honor. Thank you for this. I am always striving to provide and defend quality content here on Wikipedia, and sometimes I forget that those projects leave a big impact on fellow editors, not just our readers. Cheers to you for acknowledging those efforts, Unlimitedlead. I look forward to collaborating with you on many more projects after our success and joint efforts in nominating Government of Macedonia (ancient kingdom) for FA status. You should be proud of your own list of featured articles, for that matter! Also, bravo on crafting your user page with the Jean-Baptiste Frédéric Desmarais painting in the background, very suave indeed. ;) Pericles of AthensTalk 16:55, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oh wow. Thank you @Buster7 @CT55555, @Spicy and @Novem Linguae. I really appreciate this. CT, it's a pleasure to collaborate with you, @Netherzone on Possibly's drafts and other art-related articles. Novem, I so appreciate all you do in assisting us less technically-oriented editors in scripts and other needs and Spicy, you're a huge asset at SPI which is where I frequently have worked with you. Teamwork is what makes this project so fun. Thanks again! Star Mississippi 12:58, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Wow, I feel overwhelmed by this. My Papa would be proud of you all, for once I am left speechless. Perhaps it is true that we are our own biggest critic because I don't feel deserving. There are far more impactful editors, I feel, who never get nominated for this much less are awarded. I will choose to trust the experience of those around me and I am very appreciative to Buster7, CT55555 and Hamid Hassani for the recognition. I have learned so much just being in contact with this project for the last three years. Thank you, Firefangledfeathers for your kind comment. You all are very thoughtful. Truly, my greatest blessing in life is the ability to hear the symphony that is us. --ARoseWolf 16:47, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • I appreciate the award. I admit I don't feel quite worthy of the "flourishing" label but I do try to improve stuff and it's nice to know people at least see my intentions there. Maybe I'll be a bit more confident someday? I tend to worry about a lot of things and I'd rather be too humble than arrogant. But I also try to not be my own worst critic. Life is hard, I'll figure it out someday. Hopefully. Anyways, I hope things are going well for you. An extra thanks to Novem Linguae and theleekycauldron and everyone who participated on my subpage. There's 100 people who are not me that wrote there. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 20:53, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • I was just stopping in and, oh my, this was quite unexpected. It's lovely to see that people care even after I've retired. It would be a lie to say that I haven't thought about my time here in the last month, but I still feel much the same (turns out 30k edits in a year can do that). With personal life and other things I just can't think about editing right now. I don't think the door is shut though, so maybe think of this as a (very) prolonged wikibreak? Regardless, thank you everyone for the love, it's very appreciated. All the best, Schminnte [talk to me] 19:19, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
