If you want to ping me — my User name

[edit]

I recommend {{u|1=7&6=thirteen}}, {{reply to|1=7&6=thirteen}}, [[User:7&6=thirteen|7&6=thirteen]], or [[User:7&6=thirteen]].
My user name does not ping in the usual way, because of the equal sign "=", I am told. I thought it was ampersand "&", but am informed that wasn't true.[1]

However, I am a Luddite, and my WP:User name has served me well for a decade and a half; so I am not about to change. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Hello fellow Wikipedians

Special award

September songs
  • Thank you for this article and others! — The prize from the cabal of the outcasts? (And so did User:Doug Coldwell.) - The rose pic was taken on 11 September 2021.[2]

My favorite tag for use by ill-advised editors

Let's put our armor on

[edit]

Our work together here should be our armor, not some sharp, angry, burning sword. I would strongly recommend that everyone here find an article to work on for a while; not the cliche "random article", but something that gives you a nice tug at the heartstrings. It feels great to be out there doing work on something you genuinely care about, and I assure you it'll help you regain the sense of why you're here.

Keep your perspective

[edit]

As Rodney King famously said, "Can't we all get along."
In the end, an infobox here and not an infobox there is not the end of wikipedia. And it is not worth fighting over.
Endianness. See Toilet paper orientation.
FWIW, it applies not only to eggs, but to toilet paper I am certain that it is supposed to go over the top, like a waterfall.[5]

Cautionary advice

[edit]
A lesson well learnt:

Gender gap and other systemic issues
