I nominate Vacant0 (talk · contribs · count · logs) for contributing massively to the Wikipedian coverage of Serbian politics. Since 2020, they have gotten 20 articles related to Serbian politics (such as 2022 Serbian general election and National Gathering (Serbia) to good article status, with more in the works as current nominees. Thanks to their focused contributions Wikipedia has amazing and informative coverage of Serbian government and politics. Actively participates in GAN Backlog Drives. Seconded. Vacant0 is a great contributor and deserves this award. QuicoleJR (talk) 20:17, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

High-quality content creation is very important. So is friendliness and a good sense of humor. Panini! (talk · contribs · count · logs) is one of our best contributors in both regards. On the content creation side, Panini! has 3 Featured Articles, a Featured List, and 20 good articles. An entire Good Topic for the Paper Mario series exists because of him. He has also created several new articles. On the social side of things, he created a guestbook scavenger hunt and an elaborate multi-page story about purchasing Wikipedia. He also adds a bit of humor and fun to nearly any discussion he is part of. Panini! is one of our best contributors and a generous colleague. He deserves this award. As said, a high quality content creator, and also a helpful reviewer at both FAC and GAN. Would be a worthy recipient. Gog the Mild (talk) 18:39, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The more technical and scientific areas of the site often suffer from neglect and a lack of experts, so the experts we can get on board are extremely helpful. One of those experts is GeogSage (talk · contribs · count · logs), a geographer that has noticeably improved our information gathering by writing 34 brand-new articles and having the commitment to resolve major gaps in our coverage of Geography. They are also a very helpful part of the Vital Articles project. GeogSage has made significant impact on Wikipedia's study of lands, features and inhabitants and they deserve this award. QuicoleJR (talk) 14:55, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support: anyone willing to wade into the bramble-bushes of Vital Articles has my respect. UndercoverClassicist T·C 19:46, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The deletion sorting pages are very useful for tracking articles for deletion in specific topic areas. However, these pages are only useful if people list the relevant AFDs. One editor, Wcquidditch (talk · contribs · count · logs), does just that. With his over 100,000 edits, Wcquidditch has added countless AFDs to the relevant sorting pages, making it easier for other editors to watch the AFDs that interest them. These efforts easily qualify him for this award. QuicoleJR (talk) 03:26, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sergecross73 (talk · contribs · count · logs) is one of our best contributors. One of the 1000 most active editors on the site, with over 100,000 edits made and 361 articles created, primarily on video games and songs, Sergecross is one of our most productive content creators. He is also a very helpful admin, with a section on his talk page that is effectively a miniature version of AIV and RFPP. There are very few editors, if any, who are more deserving of this award than Sergecross is. QuicoleJR (talk) 03:11, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

MSGJ (talk · contribs · count · logs) is the architect behind many Lua modules that are used by editors every single day without them even noticing it. From WikiProject banners to authority control to WikiProject banner shells, he does a lot! He is proactive with maintaining the code he wrote, is responsive to requests for additional features, and crucially helps users (like me!) who are attempting to use the modules in their own template creations. In addition, he provides the technical work and expertise to make complicated, high-use templates more user-friendly. And I would be remiss if I did not mention his work implementing the recent articles->pages moves. HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 01:12, 11 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I nominate Matarisvan (talk · contribs · count · logs) to be Editor of the Week. Matarisvan has made significant additions to Indian military history, a notoriously difficult topic on Wikipedia and has been voted a coordinator of the WikiProject. In 2024 Matarisvan was voted military history newcomer of the year for 2024 by members of WikiProject Military history. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 06:34, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Seconded. I find their multiple GAR rescues quite impressive. QuicoleJR
Also....Consistent and thorough source reviews for nominations at WP:FAC.

Television shows and their associated articles get a lot of attention, and we need editors to make those articles high quality. TheDoctorWho (talk · contribs · count · logs) is one of those editors. With one featured article, five featured lists and over 30 good articles, he has massively improved our coverage of several TV shows and their season and episode articles, including Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I., and Doctor Who. TheDoctorWho certainly deserves this award for his efforts. QuicoleJR (talk) 20:23, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
