Welcome!

Hello, KingArti, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like 26 CreW, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

A tag has been placed on 26 CreW requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on Rage617 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Reks Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme official cover art.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Reks Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme official cover art.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:11, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Dr.Dre 2012.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Dr.Dre 2012.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 12:55, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Tara Sands.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. – Train2104 (t • c) 22:34, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Tara Sands, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 00:24, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Avengers Infinity War updated teaser poster.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Replaceable fair use File:Kathryn Newton.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kathryn Newton.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

A tag has been placed on File:Terry Notary.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:17, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source/license for File:Captain Marvel teaser poster.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Captain Marvel teaser poster.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 13:01, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Veronica Sixtos moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Veronica Sixtos, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Replaceable fair use File:Emma Fuhrmann 2019.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Emma Fuhrmann 2019.jpg.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (tc) 03:38, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Emma Fuhrmann 2019.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Orphaned non-free image File:Spider-Man Far From Home poster.jpeg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Spider-Man Far From Home poster.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:38, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Liana Ramirez.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Liana Ramirez requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Veronica Sixtos, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 00:26, 20 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, KingArti. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Veronica Sixtos".

If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:09, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, KingArti. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Sometimes I Think About Dying".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 22:10, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Iman Vellani.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press, Getty Images), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the non-free content guidelines, please add the appropriate non-free use tag and rationale.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:32, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Captain America: New World Order, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. I know you've been editing the MCU articles for a good while now, although you still need to provide a reliable source whenever you add information to any articles. Trailblazer101 (talk) 19:14, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you open up that link and read through it clearly says: New World Order will include Sam’s right-hand man, Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), who was there with Sam during his struggle with the Flag Smashers in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. KingArti (talk) 23:57, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That should have been explained in the edit. Also, that info has not been stated by other sources, and I feel Stan's return would be covered by more higher-tier trades. There have been rumors of him returning in it, so the MPA's Credits blog could have taken from those. Trailblazer101 (talk) 04:08, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dates in Use templates

Hello. I notice that you often update the dates in "Use ..." templates on draft articles. While I appreciate the effort to keep these up to date, kindly refrain from doing so randomly and for no apparent reason, and especially without making any other substantive changes. Plus, both pages are about the same film. The Film Creator (talk) 13:22, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
the film is no longer titled Chocolate Lizards though. KingArti (talk) 13:32, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Might I ask were you unaware that the page Chocolate Lizards existed prior to your creation of Accidental Texan? The Film Creator (talk) 13:43, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I know how to move from draft to mainspace. KingArti (talk) 13:48, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You could have also moved Chocolate Lizards to Accidental Texan using WP:PAGEMOVE. But since you’ve already created Accidental Texan, I’m going to request deletion for Chocolate Lizards. No hard feelings. The Film Creator (talk) 13:52, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Apparently, my request for deletion per WP:G7 was rejected. Therefore, what do you propose we do? The Film Creator (talk) 14:22, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also would you, @User:Firefangledfeathers care to provide feedback about this? The Film Creator (talk) 14:24, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Firefangledfeathers I requested a speedy deletion per WP:A10. The Film Creator (talk) 14:51, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • I deleted the new article and moved CL to AT. KingArti, if you want a copy of the article you created, I'd be happy to put one in your userspace. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Accidental Texan. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Chocolate Lizards. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Chocolate Lizards. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at Talk:Chocolate Lizards.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. The Film Creator (talk) 14:59, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Weapons (forthcoming film) moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Weapons (upcoming film). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it does not meet WP:NFF. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. 2pou (talk) 16:23, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I thought I'd be able to augment the draftification notice more, but it went through. So you know my reasons, this is why it did not meet WP:NFF:
  • The start date for filming was sourced to something published before that date. We can't know if it stuck to the plan or not unless the source is published after the start date and claims that it happened.
  • WP:NFF relies on a notable production period, meaning WP:GNG should apply to things that happened while shooting. Casting and development news (all before production) don't contribute to satisfying NFF. Sources should confirm the start of filming happened, but also report on at least one other aspect of the filming.
  • (This is not a reason for not meeting NFF, but (forthcoming film) is not a disambiguation listed at WP:NCFILM.)
Thank you for your contributions, though! This will probably be ready soon. -2pou (talk) 16:46, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Alma and the Wolf moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Alma and the Wolf. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and even with a production start, notability needs more than a single source. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. 2pou (talk) 17:05, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about The Furious

[edit]

Hello KingArti, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, The Furious, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Furious.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Vanderwaalforces}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hello King! There is a problem happening in the userspace with a film.

[edit]

There has been serious malpractice with a film in article space. the page Draft talk:Untitled Jurassic World Dominion Sequel was in the userspace and the film has not even begun principal photography. I draft talk'ed it to get it as far as possible out of workspace. It is also a poorly written WP:FANCRUFT creation made (and I'm not trying to be rude here) like a Fandom.com article. Wikipedia's better draft for the film, made by more versed editors, draft:Jurassic City (2025 film) is the better draft article for the movie. The unprofessional article I'm speaking of has invasive cites, falsely claims that Steven Spielberg is producing the movie, cites a random YouTube video in a place, and is an issue that is problematic to the degree that I am asking you for help in addressing it because I don't know what to do here. Those who have worked on it had good intentions, I'm sure of it, but it's become a mess. If you can assist in cleaning this up, please do. Have a great one! BarntToust (talk) 17:46, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Christopher McDonald

[edit]

Hello, King. While I understand actors with the same name can be confusing at times, it is always best to double check the sources by researching the context, rather than reverting to reinstate your preferred changes after they have been contested. I would recommend taking a step back to discuss such discrepancies on the talk page after the first revert before re-engaging in such edits to avoid misappropriating links to similarly named individuals for future reference. Thanks. I have also created a disambiguation page at Christopher McDonald (disambiguation), where Christopher MacDonald currently redirects to, and it seems THR has corrected the typo in their article while Deadline has not (despite removing the incorrect image and other info). When you're moving a draft into mainspace, like you did at Special:Diff/1223344305, please don't move it to a title with unnecessary disambiguation like "(film)" just because the title you want already exists as a redirect. Instead, please submit a request at WP:Requested moves/Technical requests and a pagemover can move it from draftspace to the correct title for you. --Ahecht (TALK

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Peaceray (talk) 16:10, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Non-notable Actors

[edit]

Hello, I've noticed you have recently been adding a lot of actors to MCU projects based on their resumes. These have been removed because many of these actors are not notable and do not appear to bear any significance based on their guest star or unknown recurring roles. Especially since they are citing their resumes directly, independent notability has not been proven for their significance to the topic. I will also note that Wikipedia is WP:NOTDIRECTORY or [[ WP:NOTTVGUIDE, meaning we do not include any random amount of facts just because it exists. Considering none of the trades or other reliable third-party sources have picked up on these minor actors, adding them is given WP:UNDUEWEIGHT to their roles and to their resumes, which typically should not be cited as they are often WP:SELFPUBLISHED. Pixelated Images

[edit]

I know I have told you this before, but please double check when you are uploading files that they are actually in a higher quality and not pixelated, as many of the files you have uploaded of logos and posters have been pixelated, especially recently at File:Deadpool & Wolverine poster.jpg and File:Daredevil Born Again logo.jpeg. It is a simple ask to abide by the WP:image use policy. Repeated obstructions of this may necessitate disciplinary action as this has been a recurring issue with you image-related edits and uploads. It appears you may be using other software or systems such as AI to automatically generate these images in a higher quality, although that is frowned upon and I urge you not to or at the very least to make sure they are not pixelated, as those infringe on the overall quality of the creative works as intended by their publishers and could constitute copyright violations. Trailblazer101 (talk) 23:06, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

it's not pixelated, the originally was too large so I simply cropped it. KingArti (talk) 23:11, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
the original file was like 15000 px so I had to narrow it down which took forever cause my computer crashed, and cropped it cause the original file was bigger in size. KingArti (talk) 23:13, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that file and many others you have uploaded have been pixelated on my end as uploaded. They may not have been on your end originally, but I would inspect using a different system to crop down images because I have noticed this for a while now with the files you've uploaded. I tend to use this script to handle the resizing of files on the wiki directly to avoid outsourcing to other systems, which tends to have a better track record than some other external sites. Just be mindful of how files are being rendered and processed via these other sites. Trailblazer101 (talk) 23:23, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You may also wish to look at my Using Wikipedia films and film makers red links to seed Wikidata presentation on Wikimedia Commons. Since the film is due to be released on January 2, 2026, there is plenty of time. Peaceray (talk) 02:07, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mission: Impossible moves

[edit]

Hello, may I ask why you moved Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning three times within a span of two minutes? If you were simply trying to create redirects, please do so from scratch rather than making unnecessary moves. Thank you. InfiniteNexus (talk) 20:39, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't on purpose, I made a mistake with the hyphen. KingArti (talk) 00:19, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Gotcha. No worries, just be careful next time. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:49, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

King of the South (film) moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to King of the South (film). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BOVINEBOY2008 10:49, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Task Force for Harry Potter TV series?

[edit]

Hello, I wanted to reach out to ask, do you think there would be any interest in a Harry Potter "task force" to deal with the Harry Potter television series? It will be a massive endeavor and could benefit from some coordination in what to do. Crafterstar (talk) 21:11, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What is this task force about, I feel out of the loop ? KingArti (talk) 21:26, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Fast X part 2 filming

[edit]

One vague instagram post by Vin is far from confirmation that filming has begun. We should wait for actual confirmation. Rcarter555 (talk) 08:47, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
