Attaba (Cairo Metro) moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Attaba (Cairo Metro). Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources and it needs more sources to establish notability. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Disambiguation link notification for June 19
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Auto rickshaw, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Heliopolis. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Pages missing padlock icon
Hi, I noticed you put a missing padlock icon in on William Shatner, thanks for this. I've noticed there are a few other protected pages missing the padlock icon:
Can you please take a look at these pages and add the padlock icon to the top right of each page? Thanks. Noisy Painter (talk) 18:56, 7 July 2023 (UTC)

Thank you for your help with that - for me it feels like less work to tire out IP vandals than to try to figure out how to get things protected (it's probably easy, I just don't do it often enough to remember how to go about it). Appreciate your work. Mr.choppers | ✎ 00:56, 10 July 2023 (UTC)

The article Daniel Larson (Internet personality) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Kj cheetham (talk) 11:06, 13 July 2023 (UTC)

- Hello, Toadette,
- Do not attempt to write another article on this subject. He is not notable by Wikipedia standards and the articles appear to be harassment, if not by you then by other editors who contribute to the page. It looks like trolling behavior. Stick to the very contructive work you are doing to improve the proejct. Thank you for your other contributions. Liz Read! Talk! 18:12, 13 July 2023 (UTC)

Your comments in project space
You are a fairly new editor (account created in May) with 551 edits, of which about 10% are in Wikipedia space. You are not initiating reports at administrator noticeboards but commenting on them, like some sort of clerk. I can't speak for other administrators, but I don't find your comments helpful, and I don't think you should be making them. It's an unusual thing for a new user to do. Have you ever had other accounts here?--Bbb23 (talk) 13:17, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- I used to have an account a few years ago but I was locked out and so I logged out on all my devices and didn't made any edits, but but I am helpful in cases of vandalism and page protection. ToadetteEdit (chat)/(logs) 13:40, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- What do you mean by "locked out"? What was the username of the other account? And no, in my view you are not helpful at AIV or RFPP.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:44, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- The username for the previous account was renamed to Unleashedwiki because it revealed my real name in full, but then when I tried to log in I got usernsme/password errors, even though I saved the information on Google's Password Manager. Anyways, I will try not to be curious at AIV or RFPP by commenting much, as it might potentially increase server load.
- I barely edited with the old account and made only one contribution ToadetteEdit (chat)/(logs) 15:39, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- You had an e-mail address associated with the old account, which means you could have reset the password, regardless of Google's Password Manager, but that's pretty much moot a year later. I'm not sure what your comments at AIV and RFPP have to do with being "curious", nor do I understand your server load comment, but at the risk of repeating myself, it's better for you not to comment at all at those two boards or any other administrative noticeboard, unless it involves you, of course.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:02, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, I will not comment on the administrators' noticeboard, and I also didn't reset the password at all. ToadetteEdit (chat)/(logs) 16:05, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks. Also, regarding the password reset, I am not accusing you of resetting the password. I am just saying that it was an option available to you at the time that you may not have been aware of.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:18, 15 July 2023 (UTC)

- Hi, sorry I ought to have been more specific. It was the comment in "Civil POV pushing on "Gender-related topics" where you said "As my last comment of today, is there any changes or it is the same so it will require closure?" which didn't make much sense and seemed to be an unnecessary interruption in a difficult topic area.
- I felt you could probably leave admins to sort that conversation out, since it was fairly complex and discussion is ongoing. Thanks! MarchOfTheGreyhounds (talk) 14:19, 12 August 2023 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Belbury. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Fakir Aziao-Din, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Watch out for WP:MIRRORs when looking for sources! Both of the sources you added to this article credited Wikipedia as the origin of their text, in the small print. Belbury (talk) 09:56, 22 July 2023 (UTC)

+rollback
Hi ToadetteEdit,
After reviewing your request, I have added your account to the rollback group. Keep in mind these things when using rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Users should be informed (or warned) after their edits have been reverted. If warnings repeatedly don't help, WP:ANI is the default place to go. In cases of very clear ongoing intentional damage to the encyclopedia, WP:AIV can be used.
- Reverting someone's edits may confuse or upset them. Whenever other users message you on your talk page, please take the time to respond to their concerns; accountability is important. For most users who message you, the tone and quality of your answer will permanently influence their opinion about Wikipedia in general.
- Because the plain default rollback link does not provide any explanatory edit summary, it must not be used to revert good faith contributions, even if these contributions are disruptive. Take the time to write a proper summary whenever you're dealing with a lack of neutrality or verifiability; a short explanation like "
[[WP:NPOV|not neutral]]
" or "[[WP:INTREF|Please provide a citation]]
" is helpful. - Rollback may never be used to edit war, which you'll notice to be surprisingly tempting in genuine content disputes. Please especially keep the three-revert rule in mind. If you see others edit warring, please file a report at WP:ANEW. The most helpful essay I've ever seen is WP:DISCFAIL; it is especially important for those who review content regularly.
- If you encounter private information or threats of physical harm during your patrols, please quickly use Special:EmailUser/Oversight or Special:EmailUser/Emergency; ideally bookmark these pages now. See WP:OS and WP:EMERGENCY for details. If you're regularly patrolling recent changes, you will need both contacts sooner or later, and you'll be happy about the bookmarks.
- Use common sense.
To try rollback for the first time, you may like to make an edit to WP:Sandbox, and another one, and another one, and then revert the row with one click. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about rollback. Thank you for your time and work in cleaning up Wikipedia. Happy editing!
Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:41, 19 August 2023 (UTC)

Noticeboard clerking #2
Hi ToadetteEdit,
which line of actions and thoughts led to Special:Diff/1171220358?

- (Same question regarding Special:Diff/1171139358) ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:51, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
- @ToBeFree: This is a pattern that Toadette, despite being asked/warned not to, persists in doing. Frankly, I would be inclined to block them from project space as it's more than one noticeboard.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:01, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
- @ToBeFree, @Bbb23, what is going wrong, if I am blocked from project space, then how will I report? ToadetteEdit (chat)/(logs) 07:23, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
- Starting from today, I won't touch the project space again, not a single one, unless if it is necessary. I removed all Chrome shortcuts to them and soon clear history on the Android app to forget them. I have no idea of such discussion taking overnight and woke up with it. I will continue watching the edit filter log for further disruption. Thanks. ToadetteEdit (chat)/(logs) 07:36, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
- ToadetteEdit.
- I value your countervandalism in the article namespace, and I've granted you rollback to assist you with this as requested. I haven't yet seen bad reverts, although of course they may exist, but that would then be a different discussion topic.
- You haven't answered the question yet though. You don't have to, of course, but I'm genuinely interested in the answer or I wouldn't have asked.
- And yes, a block from project space would prevent you from reporting vandalism at AIV, which is something I'd like to avoid as I don't intend to restrict your ability to deal with vandalism. I'm just really confused why there is apparently a perceived need to comment on others' reports there and elsewhere. If I understand your motivation for doing so and can persuade you to stop doing it, we're already fine.
- Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 08:35, 20 August 2023 (UTC)- @ToBeFree, in the comment of the first diff, I added a statement regarding that vandalism happened soon after protection expired. The second diff is a general comment stating that the user reported themselves at AIV. For reference, the editors seems to dislike my comments even though I tried to improve it. Toadette (chat)/(logs) 10:37, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
- No, ToadetteEdit, that's what you did after thinking. You are describing the diff itself. I'm asking for your reasoning. Your thoughts behind this. How did you notice the report? What did you do when seeing it? Did you visit AIV, see a report and open the contribution list for someone else's report, for example? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 13:56, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
- @ToBeFree Initially, I see the reports, open the contribs page to view vandalism, noticing the tag Reverted. In case at Rfpp, I look onto the page history. Toadette (chat)/(logs) 14:00, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
- Okay. That's the first thing I do when processing reports too. And even if someone else did before, I'd still have to verify this, so you're not saving me work by doing so. You've been stating the obvious in these comments (and are doing so again below, "adding inappropriate external links is not allowed", just saying). Perhaps you could simply not do that. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:33, 21 August 2023 (UTC)

I've therefore blocked you from editing at ANI for 3 months. See WP:GAB for your appeal rights. Any appeal must come from this page. - @Bbb23 I now see, the same problem. Your comment has made trauma to come upon me. The same situation when I abandoned my tablet for a week because I was awake past 10pm. I will be forced to return to my sandboxes and the edit filter tomorrow. I would really leave the community again because of this, but Wikipedia is my home. Even when I come back learning in October, I will never forget such action and be 'vanished' from the noticeboards. For reference, until the end of November I will not visit any project space. Unblocking from a page
ToadetteEdit (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Now I knew my lesson, it is not right to comment useless, strange comments on noticeboards, except if it involves me of course. As a person who makes promises but break it everytime, I've made 250+ edits in the project space, but half of it is basically junk comment which drew attention on my talk page. Some more than three unique editors expressed their concerns on my replies. I even requested closure of an SPI but an admin said not to do this. Furthermore, I will stop asking questions on RFAs, just voting based on my decisions. And again, no more posting replies on any noticeboard. I will just go to my everyday editing once I return to my tablet tomorrow. I would thank the blocking admin Bbb23 and otherwise the unblocking admin for reading this. For reference, I am partially blocked from the incidents noticeboard, and requested unblocking from the mobile app so I can't sign inside the template from wikitext. Toadette (chat)/(logs) 14:47, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
If there is a noticeboard discussion you need to participate in, please re-request with a link to it. Else, I see no need for an unblock, especially looking at earlier broken promises. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 08:50, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hello
You removed the content that I added to a page. But I don't think I added anything wrong there. Here, the source https://en.prothomalo.com/sports/Bangladesh-lose-Mushfiq says Mushfiq's nickname is mr dependable (I think it is a reliable source, isnt it?) However I request you to check it again. And "Musfiq" is not his nickname according to any source. Tajwar4 (talk) 11:00, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Tajwar4, thank you for the information. Yes, your statement is true. You can readd it. Thank you. Toadette (chat)/(logs) 11:03, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
Read up on policy please.
Do not reject reliable sources just because they are difficult or costly to access. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Verifiability#Access_to_sources 76.143.192.237 (talk) 15:18, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- @76.143.192.237 The problem is that, the source to thetimes.co.UK did not load beyond the third paragraph because of the paywall. Can you at least quote it. Toadette (chat)/(logs) 17:24, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
Thank you
Thank you for your comment at Arbitration case request. I appreciate that you at least looked at the links I provided and added your opinion. I realize the sock issue is a little out of the scope of this particular case but I believe it has some relevance. Cheers, Mark Ironie (talk) 19:54, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Mark Ironie Thank you, and yes it was a bit offtopic, but I should find evidence of the possible meatpuppetry about you and CV. Toadette (chat)/(logs) 10:41, 15 September 2023 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello ToadetteEdit! Your additions to Regional Ring Road (Egypt) have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. MER-C 18:37, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @MER-C, in the beginning, I didn't read the copyright policy. I just copy pharased from a governmental websites. I should rewrite it in my own words. Thank you! Toadette (let's chat together) 18:32, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
2023 evacuations from Israel moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to 2023 evacuations from Israel. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Schminnte (talk • contribs) 19:41, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @Schminnte, there are a lot of sources so I will expand and move once more. I created but had no time expanding it.Thank you. Toadette (let's chat together) 03:55, 13 October 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Crypto Aid Israel
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Crypto Aid Israel, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 06:06, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
Cryptocurrencies etc
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic. For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. |

Discussion
At least like 8 users all select delete. Why are these sources unreliable. I tried to not to write it like an adverisement. Toadette (let's chat together) 06:55, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- ..and compare it with WP:PROMO, WP:ARTSPAM, and about the independent sources. Toadette (let's chat together) 07:22, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- Despite your good intentions, almost all of the commenting editors cite policy reasons for removal. The source analysis tells you even more.
- The world of crypto currency is very close to a scam in many people's views. That makes the topic itself notable, assuming references can be found, but individual businesses within it not so much. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 07:23, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- But everyone says the article was an "advertisement" and not encyclopedic. People's view. - The sourcing used was in non-reliable sources, Coinbase in particular. The flowery language used didn't help. Oaktree b (talk) 16:46, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- You have coinbase sources which aren't allowed on Wikipedia. Geko72290 (talk) 20:45, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- The sourcing is entirely insufficient for a company or their initiative.
- You're welcome to work on it in draft space, but crypto sources discussing a crypto initiative aren't going to be enough. Star Mississippi 01:05, 17 October 2023 (UTC)

- I think it was very mature of you, ToadetteEdit, to see the arguments in the AFD and tag your own article for CSD G7 speedy deletion. It's hard for most content creators to take that step but consensus was against keeping the article so your action served not to prolong the discussion. Good luck with your future articles! Liz Read! - Please read the reasons why we felt it was deletable, in the AfD. In short, articles must be neutrally written and cite independent sources with a reputation for fact checking,. Subjects must meet inclusion requirements, in this case WP:NCORP was cited. @Robert McClenon: wrote a thorough source analysis in the AfD.
