Disambiguation link notification for September 15
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Andy Kellett, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sean Murray. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Why revert of my edit of 2015_Cricket_World_Cup?
Hi PeeJay2K3. I question the reasoning behind your revert of my edit of 2015_Cricket_World_Cup#Knockout stage. rvv means? DadaNeem (talk) 01:20, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
I'm disappointed you haven't replied to my request. Lacking that I am reverting your revert. DadaNeem (talk) 11:17, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
My reason for putting the ref is to allow people to enjoy the video as I did-is there a problem with that? DadaNeem (talk) 12:00, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
Rather than remain angry I went & watched a youtube video. Back again...
I propose putting the youtube highlight videos in external links in the 2015 Cricket World Cup knockout stage page. I am suggesting the same on that pages talk page. DadaNeem (talk) 12:45, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
Blocked for edit warring on Memphis Depay
I have blocked you for 1 month for edit warring. It is your third block for edit warring in 13 months, the previous two blocks being for 1 week and 2 weeks, respectively. I have given you a longer block in the hopes of deterring you from future edit warring. TigerShark (talk) 14:53, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) If you would like to appeal this block, please add {{unblock}} to your talk page and explain why you should be unblocked. JMHamo (talk) 15:22, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- @JMHamo: You make it sound like you think I should be... – PeeJay 15:29, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- @TigerShark: Can you please address User:SuperJew's mistaken assumption that my disagreement with him constitutes a lack of engagement with the discussion? Hell, I started the discussion, while SuperJew seemed intent on only communicating through edit summaries for the longest time. – PeeJay 18:44, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- Hi. I had noticed that you started a discussion with SuperJew so, yes, I would agree that you did engage. To be fair, SuperJew did also engage in that discussion. Unfortunately (as I also said to SuperJew) the two of you still continued to revert each other in parallel with that discussion. TigerShark (talk) 20:12, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's fine, I'm not disputing that; I just resent people accusing me of things I haven't done. What makes it all worse, though, is the fact that SuperJew has been labouring under a misconception; if he actually understood the situation regarding Depay's name, none of this would have happened. And to top it all off, per WP:BRD, the onus was always on him to initiate any discussion once he was reverted. But whatever, I should know better; it just rankles with me that I'm getting punished for trying to maintain the status quo in accordance with Wikipedia policy. – PeeJay 20:23, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

- So finally you have been shown Red Card. So sad. . One month is too long. You can ask for reduction by one week. Your earlier blocks were of 1 week and 2 weeks duration so this time you can ask for 3 weeks instead of Month. I have sympathy for you, because I am also "recognized edit warrior" , you have long history of blocks, I have been blocked 5 times till now. My longest block was of 3 days. I think we should try to not do edit war though we are always right. These days I'm not doing any edit war. I hope you will have a nice month. Cheers. Enjoy. --Human3015TALK 00:10, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Human3015: I don't know if you're being serious or not, but I have no interest in appealing my block. Being an edit warrior is nothing to be proud of, I just have trouble learning not to do it. Whether we are right or not is a matter for debate; most of the time, it's a matter of opinion, though it would seem by User:Qed237's restoration of my version of articles relating to Memphis Depay that at least one person thinks I was in the right. – PeeJay 00:22, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
Man Utd Liverpool Check
Good sir, did you ever check the fact that the FIFA "sources" provided to justify that 44-42 major trophy count as well as the big table in the United-Liverpool rivalry page leads to NOWHERE? Its a dead-end......and most of the sources have been quoted inaccurately. Davefelmer (talk) 17:22, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
@Qed237: Any chance you could correct Manchester United's position after each match in the table of results? Someone's come along and decided to ignore the sources again... – PeeJay 18:28, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- Sure, and I will try and keep an eye on the article. Qed237 (talk) 19:19, 20 September 2015 (UTC)

- Was this task force discussed with either WP:PAKISTAN or WP:CRIC before it was created? There's a requirement that all WikiProjects and task forces are discussed at related WikiProjects before being created. @Lugnuts: You may want to bring this up at WP:CRIC. – PeeJay 18:42, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
- PeeJay, I know you are blocked for one month, but how you are able to reply so quick, even after block of 1 month are you always online? And I don't know about it is discussed with Task Force or not, I am spreading message as a Cricket fan, and it is new league and I thought cricket experts like you maybe needed to improve the project.--Human3015TALK 18:53, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
@Tuttiseme: Please revert your last edit to UEFA Euro 2000 squads. Per this source, Barthez signed for Manchester United at the end of May 2000, which was before the tournament started. – PeeJay 20:21, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
- My bad. The printed source that I had, plus the RSSSF source in the link showed him as a Monaco player. Tuttiseme (talk) 21:15, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

UEFA Euro 1972
I agree that the statement about all teams having to play qualifiers is valid, but I just thought it was superfluous. Maybe it is good that you point it out, to show the contrast with most modern-day tournaments where the hosts are known and are qualified in advance. I'll leave it there then. Football
I see a day in the future when Wikipedia will be the bigger football database ! The format is very good, easy to find what you need, you can go on other page just with a click, and read about teams, players, anything.
Just edit one season, everyone will edit one and will be done in one week ! And after we will start with another country ! Thanks !--Alexiulian25 (talk) 17:17, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
Man Utd content.
You are not some kind of guardian or gatekeeper to man Utd content or any other sporting articles. You cannot delete well sourced information because you don't feel like you want it in an article. If something is relevant, sourced and belongs in a section, you have no right to remove it. This is particular to your actions on man utd's wiki page.
Furthermore, as for your reverts on matt busby, as I explained in my edit summary, any idea that a manager is one of the greatest will always be an opinion. Look at any subsequent wiki manager page like that of mourinho, guardiola, Paisley etc and you'll see that similar sources are used to make similar statements. So if you don't agree with the way this works, either change all of them or better yet make a point on the talk page. Senselessly editing valid information isn't really wise days after a month long block is it? Davefelmer (talk) 21:39, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Dont throw stones in a house made of glass. You have been told about your bad editing as well, User:Davefelmer. Qed237 (talk) 21:54, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
Jesus, you are a talk page stalker?! Wow, some life you lead eh?! ;) anyways, as usual, you didn't address my points on article consistency and opinion comprising ideas of greatness. Nor did you even acknowledge that my point still stands. And as an aside, I only made and joined wiki a few months ago and wasn't familiar with the rules at first; you can't compare that to a seasoned user who's been here consistently for years....

Tuanzebe
Hi Tom. I see we share a passion for United - great (shame they're not yet firing on all cylinders, eh?!).
Now, I noticed that Tuanzebe made the first-team bench this w/e, so I created that wp:redirect for him, to make it easier for readers to find more info. about him.
Then, I emboldened his name in the targeted article, as per guidelines in Wikipedia:R#PLA (making cosmetic changes whilst I was at it).
I explained the main reason for my edit in the edit summary (see here).
Then I was a little surprised that my edit was reverted, & with the revert-reason given as "Why?".
I hope you understand now the motives for my edit. Very happy to discuss it further; perhaps we can agree, & consider restoring the edit?
Anyway, more importantly, let's hope the reds soon break into a goal-scoring run :) Best wishes, Trafford09 (talk) 10:25, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Cymru Alliance
I updated Cymru Alliance, there is just one season to be create and the current one, can you created ? I also have a question. What league was the predecessor of Cymru Alliance, before 1990 ? In what top league teams from North of Wales played ? (apart from those ones who played in English football system) Thanks!--Alexiulian25 (talk) 00:01, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
Question
I just wondering if you knew how many games it takes to get a winners medal in a domestic cup (england or otherwise). I know in one off trophies you have to be in the match day squad to get a medal but how about tournaments like the league cup and FA Cup? Davefelmer (talk) 00:14, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

Man Utd 07-08
Regarding the Man Utd 2007-08 season review, I feel that the wording of the community shield implies it isn't a trophy, which it very much is in an official sense. It needs better wording; the fact that it is a shield and not a cup per se makes no difference. The bundesliga is a shield and not an actual cup so would you differentiate that differently? A one-off game is still a cup, but if you'd like to keep the phrasing differently, perhaps add "trophy" at the end of community shield? But really, using "other" to differentiate suits best. Hey
Hey Tom,
I was wondering if you could have a look at Ludwig Augustinsson and give advice on what needs to be cleaned up and what needs to be added. This is the first real article I've put some effort in. (I will update the Copenhagen section pretty much, since he's been a key player and won titles at the club since I last updated & I will update the International career section with info about his part in Sweden's gold in U21 Euros last summer. Thank you in advance // Psemmler (talk) 03:19, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
"By city"
Referencing is not the problem, at least not in the manner you've addressed. Listing winners of a competition "by city" is not a practice that is normally done in any authoritative source. You may have a source for every club's location, but you don't have a source that ranks wins by city. It's especially pointless in countries like Macedonia, since half the teams are from Skopje anyway! – PeeJay 14:05, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- I did this because other football articles are like this with "by city". And I want all the articles to have some amount of information. In time will get more cities there. Why do delete it?--Alexiulian25 (talk) 14:07, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- @PeeJay2K3: I'm working with Alexiulian25 to try to get the table accepted into the article. We've been working over here - I understand what you're saying above, but is the 'By city' table not just a computation of wins per club and sorting by their city of origin (which the reference provides)? -- samtar whisper 14:33, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Because it looks cramped on the right side, and to much space takes the column with the names of the Hosts ! Wikipedia does not have aesthetic rules. player stats haven't been updated for United's last two matches. Certainly for Jones and Carrick it hasn't, and it hasn't got Martial's fourth PL goal. So you may want to go back and check any stats updates you've done recently. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 10:19, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
- It isn't. At the 2015/16 season page, click on the third one down "summary of appearances and scorers", you get Phil Jones with 8 PL apps, which is also what Soccerbase gives him, and which is consistent with a total 102 league games. On Jones's individual page, click on second one down, "season by season", you get 6 PL apps, and a total of 100. Which is correct as of 18 Dec (match played 12 Dec), which is what you've got in the infobox, but not as of 26 Dec, which is what you've put above the career stats table. Carrick's is equally out of date. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 21:36, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
