Youngest United player
The article on Duncan Edwards says that when he made his debut he was the youngest top-flight player, but the article on Jeff Whitefoot would suggest that Edwards wasn't even the youngest player for United. Do you have any MUFC sources which could confirm either way..........? -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:34, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
International Goals
Why isn't a list of international goals necessary? A lot of readers would want to know that information. If you remove it from Park ji Sung's page I expect every other player's international goals get removed as well. Please show me where it states this in the guidelines, thank you. Irish players
Hello PeeJay,
I understand MOSNUM to state that there are special rules for the UK, but I don't believe that they apply to Irish articles. Speccy4eyes seems to be determined to ignore the difference between the UK and Ireland and insist on putting imperial measures first in the infoboxes of Irish footballers who are playing in the English Premier League. Any suggestions on what to do about this? Michael Glass (talk) 10:39, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
- No I'm not. But as you don't accept WP:UNITS for Brits why would you then try to push it for non-Brits? Leave the stuff alone until we get a confirmed ruling rather than chancing that nobody spots changes before it is to late. I've looked at your contribs history and seen youve been doing nothing much else for years. Can't you find some articles to edit without throwing out other peoples work as if it is worthless. Speccy4Eyes (talk) 18:20, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
Speccy, I will argue against edits I disagree with but I don't recall having reversed any of your edits. I have also looked at your edit history and feel that your comments apply to you more than me. As for your opinion about my acceptance of WP:UNITS, this is simply your opinion. The rules clearly state that before changing the order of units on UK articles you have to ask first. Remember that the rules that apply to UK articles are different from the rules that apply to the Irish Republic and to Jamaica and everywhere else. Michael Glass (talk) 01:14, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
- Note, where you reversed my edit on Joe Allen I have just restored the citation to Premier League but left in place your edit from Hugman. That way, both of us have the citations that each of us prefer. Michael Glass (talk) 02:24, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

Rugby Statistics
I don't see why you see the need to change the standard for all rugby articles without achieving a consensus. For years, there have been no complaints about adding all points scorers, but suddenly you only want a few of them listed? Also, why remove missed conversions from the stats, as you did at 2014 Six Nations Championship, they are a notable statistic, and very important to the outcome of a match.
Also, I noticed you've reverted edits 4 times on 2015 Six Nations Championship within the last 24 hours. This is a violation of 3RR.
Also, I started writing this post before you wrote on my talk, which is why it's here. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:50, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
- I would recommend you two file a RfC if required or go on the talk page. Both of you are edit warring. ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 12:10, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll request one. Although I don't believe I'm edit warring, I haven't broken 3RR. Joseph2302 (talk) 12:54, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
- You don't have to break 3RR to be engaged in an edit war (but equally one doesn't automatically become an edit warrior by making three reverts). You, however, are edit warring. – PeeJay 12:56, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
- I've added a RfC to the 2015 Six Nations Championship page. Also, I apologise, I thought that an edit war began with 3RR, so my actions were okay. Having reread the policy, it appears I was edit warring. Joseph2302 (talk) 13:01, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

Reverting changes
Please check a user's changes more thoroughly before going through with your revisions, which was, after I had moved my change to the bottom of this article, unsubstantiated. You were right, the fact that Pasadena, CA is close to Los Angeles shouldn't have been at the top of the page, but I moved it down to the bottom with some additional information. Your implusively assuming edits won't do anything for anybody. Thank you. Hmdwgf (talk) 15:45, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
- Instead of sitting on a fence criticizing what I am doing, telling me how wrong I am and edit warring- why don't you try and do something constructive, like improving potentially good changes? I simply do not care about what you personally think is right for these articles- I am following the rules, my edits are fair, neutral and justified. Granted, I forgot to add a point of reference- but that is only one mistake. Your aggressive behavior on these articles is destructive- it's almost as if any edit anyone makes to the world cup articles, you instantly pounce on it because you didn't make the edit. If you continue this behavior, particularly this edit warring- which I see you have been reported for before- I'll report you to the same admin who told you off before. Thank you. . However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. PeeJay (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
As I explained at the 3RR report, there are clear mitigating factors here. The other party did not provide any references for their contributions and they were going against a long-standing consensus that being a runner-up in football is not an honour and shouldn't be listed. To top it all off, they were contributing negatively to a Featured List. Finally, I'm currently in the process of getting another article promoted to Featured status; how can I be expected to attend to the needs of the FAC if you've blocked me? – PeeJay 20:18, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Reverting to consensus isn't listed as an exemption from 3RR. Bjelleklang - talk 21:50, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- If getting any response from admins/other users takes too long, you might want to try out IRC; there is usually a whole bunch of people available to assist there. Bjelleklang - talk 21:50, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) You must show some insight into policy and your own behavior. As I mentioned at AN3, you have an extensive block log for edit-warring and yet your comment there evinces no understanding of what justifies a "revert" (see WP:3RRNO and please don't claim vandalism because it won't wash). You could have sought help but you chose to ignore policy and revert. This kind of behavior is just going to keep leading to longer and longer blocks.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:26, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- Every time I seek help, it takes days to come. I tried to have a discussion with the other party per WP:BRD (they should have started the discussion to add the info, but that's by the by). They were unable to provide any reasonable excuse for adding the content. – PeeJay 20:29, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- As a WikiProject Football member, I have to point out (beyond the obvious WP:NOTTHEM side of the request), there is not a "long-standing consensus that being a runner-up in football is not an honour and shouldn't be listed" - there doesn't appear to be a local consensus for this either. The global consensus, in fact, is that we deal with such a thing on a case-by-case basis. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 20:24, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- @Lukeno94: No, but there is a consensus that they don't need to be listed among Manchester United's honours. Furthermore, as I pointed out, there are no sources that support including runners-up positions among Manchester United's honours either. – PeeJay 20:26, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- In which case, you need to present that, rather than the current statement you have right now, which is clearly a factual inaccuracy. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 20:30, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- Consider it presented, both here and on the other party's talk page when I explained to them what they were doing was wrong. – PeeJay 20:31, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

Undo of REDIRECT for The Players Tribune to Derek Jeter
I decided to undo your complete REDIRECT of this Article page to, Derek Jeter. Yes, The Player's Tribune is Co-Founded by Derek Jeter as well as a Business Interest, however it is a media platform that has grown and developed and has received a wide-range attention and has been reported by many other media outlets. It is a noteworthy article that deserves it's own article main page and not a redirect. Ibarabi (talk) 16:17, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
This page
I'll make it clearer to you, @PeeJay2K3, this Talk page is for making reasonable unblock requests and for discussing your block. It is not for you to mock another editor with whom you had a recent dispute. As I stated in my edit summary, if you persist in using your Talk page for issues unrelated to your block, but particularly for veiled (or not so veiled) personal attacks, I will revoke your Talk page access.--Bbb23 (talk) 08:30, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- It wasn't a personal attack, it was a discussion of the other editor's motives for making the edits he was making on another page. If another editor gets precious about an article and then admits to making edits just to get their name on other people's work, that's definitely worth commenting on, block or no block. – PeeJay 19:47, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- @Bbb23: Did you not see this reply or did you just choose to ignore it? – PeeJay 11:56, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
@Cliftonian: Would you mind having a look at David-King's latest edit to Battle of Old Trafford? Obviously I haven't been able to contribute to the discussion on the article talk page lately, but I get the feeling some of the stuff he's added goes against what the two of you have been saying without me. Plus I have some pretty strong objections of my own. – PeeJay 11:55, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
- I've asked/warned you about this more than once. I've revoked your Talk page access. You may use WP:UTRS to appeal.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:51, 8 March 2015 (UTC)

Apologies
I am sorry, I should not write the unfortunately sentence where I said something like (...)anglosaxon imperialist world(...)in the arguments about the discussion in the talk of 2014-15 UEFA Champions League, whether Mocaco should use the French or Monaco flag.
It was my intention to delete it but it automatically or the rest of users wanted to preserve it, I think. That did not contruct anything to the arguments so that was my reason to take the sentence out of the talk.
Anyway I think my comment will be there just to show what I said, I don´t know if it is right not to let people to correct their own mistakes.I think we should have the right to delete or correct sentences when we think we have made a mistake or something is out the context, as it was, and I think talks should be moderated letting the people to resay or to remove something that was wrong (if someone say something bad, as maximun of for example 3 times, or warnings, then he or she can be dropout from editing for a period of time). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.25.238.87 (talk) 16:15, 18 March 2015 (UTC)

League Cup Final line-up
Hi, you will need to make a revised copy of the line-up diagram for the 2015 Football League Cup Final. Chadli was on Tottenham's left and Townsend the right. Despite initial sources, Chelsea's defensive midfield was taken (per reliable sources) by Kurt Zouma and not Gary Cahill. '''tAD''' (talk) 10:10, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- Zouma and Cahill, I agree, but I don't think so about Chadli and Townsend. – PeeJay 19:42, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- I know football positions are not as fixed as say netball (players are hardly running around with "CB" and "CM" on their chests), but Chadli fouled Ivanovic on the Chelsea right/Tottenham left to concede the free kick for the first goal. I'll ream through reports from different sources to see if they have a consensus of which flank each player was operating on. '''tAD''' (talk) 19:09, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- That would be best. I based my initial graphic on the Sky Sports graphic, but I'll admit I didn't get a great look at the Spurs line-up. If you have Sky Sports, perhaps you could look back at their catch-up service? I'm pretty sure Chadli was initially reported on the right, though, but then they reported Cahill as a midfielder... As far as I can tell, Chadli fouling Ivanovic on the Tottenham left side only proves that he was on the left side when that foul was committed. – PeeJay 19:58, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- Hey, I put the article up for GAN. A keen-eyed reviewer will spot the difference in Chelsea's CDM between the diagram and the text, so once your suspension is up, it would be great to get a revised image. Then again, I've been waiting since 4 November for one GAN, so there's no critical rush. I don't mind about the Chadli/Townsend thing as most teams are fluid with their wingers nowadays. '''tAD''' (talk) 00:16, 15 March 2015 (UTC)
- Sky now have Chadli on the Spurs left. '''tAD''' (talk) 00:18, 15 March 2015 (UTC)

Michael Clegg formerly of MUFC
Hi PeeJay, Sorry I wasn't trying to cause a conflict. I was trying to link him to his father (Mick Clegg) who was Manchester United Strength and conditioning coach for 11 years and is also currently coach of Aaron Cook (World Taekwondo champion), Kyle Howarth - Speedway Rider, Mike Eade - World Kickboxing Champion, Matt Gilks - Burnley FC and advisor to Tim Adams (who is the personal fitness coach to Usher). The dad has also trained up two other sons to represent GB in weight lifting with the youngest currently on the GB team and I thought with the amount he has done and is still doing he should be on Wikipedia.
I haven't created a new page yet and wanted to create one for Mick Clegg Snr but wasn't sure how so wanted to do links first. There are loads of articles on him on the BBC website, MUFC website, Muscle & Fitness magazine and featured him loads, Manchester Evening News, Goalkeeper Magazine and even on Sky News so there is credible and viable external links to him. Any advice would be appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by David77miller (talk • contribs) 17:39, 26 March 2015 (UTC)

FA Vase final 2015
many thanks for keeping a watch over this page. It is however still not sure which is the "home team" and which is the "away team" as the fa.com 'fixtures' pages says Glossop v North Shields, however all other websites including the ticketing page...also on the fa.com...shows Shields v Glossop. There is a meeting down at Wembley today to decide the finer details of the fixture (which kit to be worn/which dressing room/which is the home team) and once i have that info i will update the 'final page' and also just the 2015 FA Vase page too.

Disambiguation link notification for April 27
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dennis Avoth, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Reading. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

David-King and Battle of Old Trafford
Unfortunately, there are only two remaining remedies for this problem. First, if you can identify a version, maybe in February or March, of the article, that you think is the last stable version of the article prior to the edits that you dislike, you can publish a Request for Comments asking whether to roll the article back to that version. You will then wait for 30 days until the RFC is closed. That might not work anyway. The other option is to go to WP:ANI, providing diffs, and links, and state that you attempted to use the dispute resolution noticeboard, but that dispute resolution failed due to lack of response. What you would do there is either ask that he be topic-banned from the article, or more generally ask that he be topic-banned from association football in England. There isn't much else that can be done if he won't collaborate. Robert McClenon (talk) 14:36, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Mutv new logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Considering how strong Werder was during that time, I think they deserve an extra mention on here. I reverted back to the edit. There is an obvious bias on here. It is kinda sad. 68.99.1.248 (talk) 00:10, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

From Aussiman,
Hi PeeJay I have been changing the info on Walter because it is wrong as it is . I am Walters grandson . I have his birth cert. 1911 census showing him as a pro football player both his wedding certs. and all three of his kids birth certs. including my dad's. If you check Walter from Huddersfield in the 1911 census he is an apprentice sign writer. Regards Aussiman. Aussiman70 (talk) 23:20, 5 May 2015 (UTC) |
Fine, you own the article
Sorry for editing. I was hoping my changes would please you, but I just wasn't able.
I salute your attitude. Reverting good faith edits from new contributors to an article is exactly how we'll grow the editing community. Gronky (talk) 12:51, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Peru in 1950 World Cup os wrong.
Hi mate, that stuff about Peru is wrong. USA qualified fair and square. Look at FIFA site, http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/archive/brazil1950/teams/index.html Look also in the qualifying for 1950 page in wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.57.109.188 (talk) 13:51, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello, Tom. I've replied to your point on the 1734 match. Please be aware that the IP 217.43.220.81, whose edit you followed, is subject to site-wide WP:BAN and so I have removed his input and altered yours slightly so that you are replying to me and not him. "Thunderbirds are Go" NZ categories
I reverted this edit and restored the New Zealand categories back to the page, as both Pukeko Pictures, the animation studio involved in the series, and Weta Workshop, who made the miniatures, are New Zealand companies, and New Zealand is listed as country of origin in the infobox. Why did you remove the picture on Andreas Pereira? Tibet you didn't even check the source. I think if u have your own pic, you put it instead and stop editing my work without any genuine reason. Willybeez (talk) 19 May 2015 — Preceding undated comment added 18:25, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
Youth team goals
Hey, are youth team goals now inappropriate to list on a players page? Again, the page I put up was from a 2013 revision so that is when it was from. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 20:40, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

Euro Cup
Where are you getting this source from that we do not call it Euro Cup in English speaking countries? This is the simplest way to put the competition, and nearly everyone refers to it this way where I am from (Toronto). Vaselineeeeeeee (talk) 11:41, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
Four-Four-Two
It came about because I was on User:Qed237's page and he had been asked for an interview, but the model professional he is, turned it down. Not being able to let a journalist not get his dream piece, I inquired myself to the journalist, who turned out to be Paul Brown. He wants to write about how we keep this place tidy and updated. Naturally, I'll give good shoutouts to you, AL, MYS, Qed, Walter Gorlitz, Struway, Giant Snowman, Matty et al.
The interview hasn't happened yet because he has been busy with other pieces. I have to yield my anonymity to give this interview – On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog.
If the interview gets printed into the mag, I'll send you a word and you can buy it if you so wish. '''tAD''' (talk) 15:09, 28 May 2015 (UTC)

Indian Super League assessment
Hey, just want to know how the page got a "C" rating. Before the revamp it was a "B" and honestly the page is a lot better than the previous version so why the downgrade in rating? Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 15:14, 1 June 2015 (UTC)

Minor editing
It's not the first time you revert me for constructive minor edits, or as you called it "pointless edits", but think about it: you revert me because of "undue load on the servers" but reverting is worse because then a new revision is created, and then I revert you and another revision is created. Could you just accept minor edits, including page formats? SLBedit (talk) 22:30, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- Correct formatting is not "sheer idiocy". Don't revert me. SLBedit (talk) 22:37, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, MOS:HEADINGS: "The heading must be typed on a separate line. Include one blank line above the heading, and optionally one blank line below it, for readability in the edit window (but not two or more consecutive blank lines, which will add unnecessary visible white space in the rendered page)". There is also the example of Wikipedia (see below == Notes ==). Can you find anything that forbids a blank line to separate section headers? SLBedit (talk) 22:54, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- No. SLBedit (talk) 22:58, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- No, but you are, I have explained why I added the blank line. Also read WP:OWN and WP:CIVIL. SLBedit (talk) 23:06, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

You were right when you reverted me at Freddy Adu, the spacings in infobox are needed because of the reference. SLBedit (talk) 23:35, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
You are not right about reverting me at Manchester United F.C. and saying it was an accident. SLBedit (talk) 00:10, 3 June 2015 (UTC)
