Why does it matter that they have won the European Cup (it is also stated on the chart), they were still not the domestic champions and hence should be tagges NC. Removing NC tagging from pre-1998 clubs makes no sense, it just erazes information that may be valuable to the reader, and gives the misconception that all pre-1998 European champions were also domestic champions. Statto74 revisions
I see you have reverted six of my amendments today, I just wanted to explain my reasoning. The 3 occasions I added a goal icon for players who'd scored a brace was consistent with other pages.
Mike Phealan played at right-back in early games for United but was playing RM or CM (as stated on his page) by the time of the final, also he replaced fellow midfielder Neil a web, so I think that was justifiable.
The final change I made was to remove the link to a non existent page for referee Alan Robinson. There are dozens of finals where the referee is listed but he doesn't have a page, they don't have a non existent link so that Is why I removed his.Statto74 (talk) 20:26, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
Manchester United sponsors table
Hi. I thought it best to start a discussion about whether the sponsors table you reinstated should be present at Talk:Manchester_United_F.C.#Shirt_sponsor.2Fmanufacturer_table. Please do contribute! Cheers. 10:36, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
Etihad Stadium
Hi. Your opinion about using Etihad or City of Manchester at 2015–16 UEFA Champions League knockout phase applies on which situations. On cases when there is an older name without sponsor or any situation? Thank you in advance for your attention. The Replicator (talk) 19:20, 19 February 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 29
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited James Weir (footballer), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Preston. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Andrew Quarless
I appreciate your work in helping me avoid copyright infringement concerning "The Macho Gun Incident" involving Quarless. I've undone what I considered a heavy handed approach to fixing the issue you brought up. Namely, by deleting the entire section instead of simply correcting it. I've edited it to only include the facts provided in the cited articles in accordance with Wikipedia's policy on copyrighted material: Wikipedia:Copyrights. Please refrain from being so overzealous in your future edits and consider that Wikipedia is intended to be a source of information. Deleting the information entirely when a simple modification of the way it was presented would have corrected the problem is not, in my opinion, in accordance with the nature and intention of Wikipedia and it's mission statement. I realize that it is much easier to simply delete than it is to contribute, but contributions are what makes Wikipedia what it is and that people should respect the efforts of it's contributors and only make edits that add to articles in question. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.83.181.155 (talk) 04:33, 17 March 2016 (UTC)

1998 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Final line-ups and playing positions
Hello!
A few years ago in September 2014, I created and uploaded my own version of the starting line-ups image of the 1998 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Final between Chelsea and Stuttgart using Inkscape, originally made by Zotteteen1. Since you appear to be an expert when it comes to line-ups and playing positions, I was wondering if you could help me check if they are correct. Here are the screen dumps from a torrent I downloaded for my take on the line-ups. (Chelsea, Stuttgart) Cheers. Arbero (talk) 18:48, 27 April 2016 (UTC)

Golden Boot
So, Anthony Martial is going to score 14 or more goals tomorrow? I see what you're doing, but reverting edits with sources looks rather foolish. Of course, I'll be happy to accept the mantle of fool myself after Martial's quadruple hat trick. :/ --BDD (talk) 12:27, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Premier League Golden Boot. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --BDD (talk) 19:59, 17 May 2016 (UTC)
- No, well done PeeJay, the twattery from BDD is absurd. We wait until it's reality. Good on you for sticking up for Wikipedia, rather than the crass assertion that we should follow tabloid bollocks. It didn't take long, it's surprising that BDD is so uptight about the whole thing, so much so you got templated. I think WP:DICK applies. Anyway, job done, Spurs still bottled it, regardless. Valter Di Salvo
I would like to ask you to provide evidence in support of your argument that the information that I have given do not represent the actual stages of the training course and sports career concerning Valter di Salvo. Before undoing my edits again, I invite you to specify exactly what information is not true, in your opinion. I will be happy to contribute to the improvement of this article, since before my change it was very inconsistent, outdated and lacking in sources.

2016 Cup Final
Hi, thank you for your edits on 2016 FA Cup Final as I had felt that there wasn't any need for refs to be repeated when the info was already in the text for DYK purposes. 1976 Euro title
PeeJay, please stop assigning the 1976 Euro title to the Czech Republic. 16 of the 22 players, and 8 of the starting 11, were from Slovakia, so this title should be listed either as belonging to Czechoslovakia - in which case some of Germany's medals also go to West Germany etc. - or to Slovakia if only present day countries are listed. Logos and kits
Hi. You know very well that logos are against copyright laws and wikipedia guidelines and rules and should not be added under any circumstances. This is a serious violation and it has been discussed on several occasions. I even know editors who has been blocked for this behaviour of adding kits with copyrighted logos. Please never add any kits with logos in the future. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 15:04, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
