[edit]I have edited this article drastically - removing the advertising aspects, adding informatoin about the large-scale survey which Breakthrough is running, with sources. I have removed the "advert" and "speedy delete" tags. When I first tried to save the article I was told by the system that someone else had deleted it while I was working on it, so opted to "recreate" it. PamD 16:54, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Re the latest revision 432406742 by WhatamIdoing (talk) - I'm not sure this fact is 'irrelevant', as this is the single most important reason for this charity's (historical and continued) existence. It is a fact that can be backed up by references (however in 2011 the reported incidence rate has risen from 46,000 to 48,000, so this should be updated - see e.g. http://www.icr.ac.uk/press/press_archive/press_releases_2011/17366.shtml ). Even within this paragraph, it seems to me that this statistic is the explanation behind the TLC campaign. 79.173.153.90 (talk) 10:58, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
