Revert message
Hi, please see Template:Excessive citations: To use this template, place on the article page or talk page in a location that may aid in conveying the message of the template. Imo there needs to be a template on either the article page or talk page. Thoughts? Amitchell125 (talk) 15:38, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Amitchell125: Such maintenance template is normally placed in mainspace rather talkspace for high visibility. Unless necessary, not much editors would visit talkspace for no reason hence if you would like to have high visiblity, placing it in mainspace would "
may aid in conveying the message of the template
". However, I don't think the article in question has excessive number of citations because majority of the sentence is cited with 1-2 reference(s), however if you think otherwise, please go ahead and revert. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:13, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
Taeyeon
Taeyeon, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and dancer. Biandiamond (talk) 16:25, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Biandiamond: I already said she is not notable enough to be songwriter and dancer hence please stop abusing the term and adding it unnecessarily. Songwriter term is reserved for actual songwriter and singer whom have written songs for other artists. Same for dancer. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:30, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
- She writes her own songs and does her own choreography. Thank You Biandiamond (talk) 16:33, 19 June 2021 (UTC)

- Most of them on Wikipedia, she is a songwriter and a dancer, she wrote some songs of the group (Girls generation) and the lead dancer of the group himself, please do not delete them without researching, thank you Biandiamond (talk) 16:43, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Biandiamond: Wikipedia is not fancruft, if you are here for such purpose and sorry this is wrong place for you. I already told you I know she contributed to some of her own songs and also to SNSD songs, however this doesn't changes the fact that she didn't wrote any songs other than for herself and for SNSD. Did she wrote for more than 10 songs for other various artists, NO she didn't not. Being lead dancer has nothing to do with the dancer term. Dancer is reserved for actual dancer and/or for artist whom are most notable being dancer of the group of which SNSD main dancer is Hyoyeon because she is notable for that. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:48, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
- I'm just telling the truth, I'm not a fan, I research this information and write it here, I definitely do not give wrong information without research Thank you Biandiamond (talk) 16:54, 19 June 2021 (UTC)

This is the third time, I'm informing you that I know she wrote/co-wrote to some of her own songs and to some of SNSD songs. However, this doesn't the changes the fact that she didn't wrote any songs other than for herself and for SNSD which means she is not notable enough to be songwriter unless she has written a lot of songs for other artists. IP editor 187.11.156.133's external links
I gave them instructions on the use of interlanguage links, so they may stop making the incorrect links to ko.WP. You may want to postpone visiting WP:AN for a bit.--Quisqualis (talk) 01:34, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Quisqualis: No plans to WP:AN as the process is too lengthy for just an IP, reporting to WP:AIV is faster. Currently, IP still have 2 tries left. Btw, normally we don't ill non-existance article in K-pop group articles (I have not seen one at least in popular K-pop groups article which I have visited for various purpose which such as reverting vandalism, just visiting, etc) because the ill ones are normally not of the same quality as English Wikipedia. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 01:56, 22 June 2021 (UTC)

Go Woo-ri
for go woo-ri page i am simply complete her filmography based on her profile from mydramalist page. i hope to complete what episode her appearances in drama (when make cameo) because in her wikipedia page there are some drama that doesn't include her episode apperance. some network in her filmography doesn't have same shortcut so i make litte correction.Bunga1993 (talk) 13:48, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Bunga1993: Please note your edit was reverted because:
- You removed
scope="col"
,scope="row"
without providing valid reason in doing (there is no valid reason btw, because as per WP:FILMOGRAPHY and WP:ACCESS, the parameters are needed) hence what you're doing can be considered vandalism - You added unsourced content (Big Thing and Shining Romance). Please also note that network should only be linked once in every table else that would be violating manual of style guidelines, read overlinking.
- You removed

- @Paper9oll: Kindly explain why including
scope="col"
,scope="row"
are necessary. Because i never see other wikipedia page for korean actors have that so i don't know the importance. Thank you for reminding me to adding sourced for content, i will provide the sources. For the network i see the other actors page that provided the linked, i don't know that could be categorized as violating manual. Because i never see other wikipedia page for korean actors have that so i don't know the importance.
– Because they are not maintained correctly. For the network i see the other actors page that provided the linked, i don't know that could be categorized as violating manual.
– Explained with point 2 above. I'm going treat that you already understand my point, if you continue with removing scope parameters and overlinking in filmography table pertaining to network column, I will not hestitate to revert it. Please note that, you only have 4 tries available (pertaining to your removal of scope and overlinking in filmography section, if you choose to ignore my message) on not following guidelines, policies, ahelding to other editors kind advice. After 4 tries, I will not hestitate to report you to administrator for further actions to be taken which hopefully shouldn't be happening. Thanks you and happy editing! — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 15:55, 21 June 2021 (UTC)- @Paper9oll: Take a breath and calm down. I only removed scope parameters once (fo go woo-ri page) and after you revert my editing i did not touch go woo-ri page or others and choose to message you for providing me with better explanation. But you sound worked up and talked like i did it multiple times, even threaten to reported me. For me what you write doesn't give better expalanation of what you called "page that maintained correctly". It just sound like order. @Bunga1993: My apologies if that sound threatening. As I come across multiple editors that doesn't listen, you can find one above in the thread Taeyeon. I'm just informing you of the possible outcomes if you chosen to ignore my replies to your question (and also my edit summary), the above editor chosen to ignore it and carry on instead. Thanks you for not going ahead and removing scope parameters and overlinking network column of filmography table in the article in question. Why scope is needed is because of accessibility and also consistency with the example template on WP:FILMOGRAPHY, the reason why the Year column is colored gray is because scope="row"
which if you compare (Example 1) to WP:FILMOGRAPHY, it is the same.
Example 1 (with scope parameter)

Example 2 (without scope parameter)

In my own words, there are three types of article in Wikipedia, article that are well-maintained that are updated to follow the latest guidelines and policies, article that are well-maintained but not updated to follow the latest guidelines and policies, and article that are not well-maintained (meaning content is up to date) and not updated to follow the latest guidelines and policies. Taking your contributions logs for example, Go Woo-ri (well-maintained and following the latest guidelines and policies) and Lim Hwa-young (well-maintained but not updated to follow the latest guidelines and policies). So who maintain these articles, basically editors like you and me, you can do your part by adding scope parameters to filmography table as well, and also help to delink repeating link from network column. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:40, 21 June 2021 (UTC)

Sana's "single"
I've added this to the article before but you removed it because it was under the songwriting credits section but her cover of "Sotsugyou" is actually a single (well, according to Apple Music). —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 10:53, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
- @HueMan1: As per this diff, even though you added with incorrect subheading. Cover song shouldn't be added. However, the Apple Music shows it is not an cover song but collaboration. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 11:05, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Paper9oll: It is a cover of an old song released as a new single. It isn't a Melody Project (like Dahyun and Chaeyoung's cover of "Switch to Me" and Tzuyu's upcoming cover of "Me!"). Although, it would be interesting to see a Melody Project becoming a single. —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 11:23, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
- @HueMan1: Sorry I don't get what you meant by "
cover of an old song released as a new single
" when Apple Music listed the artists as Sana & Kobukuro, my intrepretation is it is an collaboration between Sana and Kobukuro. Can I assume you meant it is something similar to Joy Hello EP where the EP consists of remake songs which by your logic, could also mean "cover of an old song released as a new single
". Correct me if I'm wrong because I don't get that part due to Apple Music having conflict information with your explanation. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 12:23, 25 June 2021 (UTC)- @Paper9oll: There are three versions of it: two with Sana only (the other one is an acapella) and one with Kobukuro. Let's take "I Want You Back" as an example. Twice made a cover/remake of it and released the cover as a (digital) single. —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 12:54, 25 June 2021 (UTC)

Your revert
This right here is a puzzling edit summary. Take a look at Wikipedia's guidelines in what is not vandalism, as that edit on Rosé was definitely not a deliberate attempt to damage the project. Also, looking at some of your recent contributions here, [1] [2] are also not obvious vandalism and should not have been treated as such per WP:AGF, especially when in all three instances it was the IPs very first edit. As I see that some editors have made comments to you on this before, I highly recommend you consider WP:CVUA. Note that I'm not trying to be that mean guy as you are for sure a valuable contributor to this community, but I feel that some of your editing practices have been questionable. Best, ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 20:34, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Nkon21: Hi there, the reason why I revert your message because it is what it is as stated and I don't wish to argue with you because I feel offended by your message and tone. The edit by IP to Rose is not considered AGF, why because there is supporting reliable source to backup the claim, furthermore that is already comment left by previous editor to give the rationale on why Korean-New Zealand vs Korean-Australian. For Sooyoung, please look at the actual article instead of diff mode, and you get why. Maybe also answer this question, why move from Web show to Television show without any valid reason? BOLD and AGF I don't think so. Same for NBA one, please look at the actual article instead of diff mode, IP changed valid wikilink to invalid wikilink, what is the reason for doing so??? Being BOLD and AGF again? Furthermore, I know my judgement every well on what is considered AGF and what isn't. Neither of the 3 edits is AGF to me. Maybe I could say the same for you as well with Itzy, what "unsourced"? Seem like AGF to me, why because IP likely thought the sentence are unsourced. Anyway as stated with my 1st sentence earlier, I don't wish to argue with you nor purposely go and dig through your contributions logs ... however please note that every editor has their own judgement even if you feel otherwise. This is the same outside of Wikipedia as well, nobody would the same judgement, thinking, views, etc. I would appreciate, you don't mentioned WP:CVUA again because I feel very offended by that. Thanks you for the compliment in regards to valuable contributor. Not sure, what you meant by some editors have made comments to you on this before, maybe you talking about that one ***** (my apologies if this offended you, in short that editor pissed me off until I can no longer give my respect) in my talk archives that have nothing better to do and loves to nitpicking by content (not related to vandalism btw), other than that one *****, I have not received such message other than from some asking why I reverted it. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 05:28, 26 June 2021 (UTC)
- My apologies, I realize that I may have come off a bit like that in my message. I'm afraid I still have to disagree with you regarding the policies of AGF and WP:NOTVANDALISM, as new editors are very unlikely to fully understand the content of the website's policies when editing, so labelling their edits as vandalism actually does more harm in potentially driving away new editors and even regular readers from Wikipedia. Regarding your talk page, I was referring the discussions [3] [4], as they have also stated that they were not intentionally trying to damage the articles. In addition, please don't feel offended with WP:CVUA, there have been several exceptional administrators in the past who have enrolled there and allowed them to fully understand the core policies of Wikipedia prior to their RfAs. Yes I do understand that every editor has their own judgement when editing and I also don't wish to argue, but I still stand behind the belief that labelling those editors as vandals goes against WP:NOTVANDALISM. I hope you understand. (Side note: On Itzy, the statement was actually supported by the ref [5]; when looking at it again I actually do not recall why I put unsourced in my edit summary. I must have been distracted so that was my fault.) ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 19:07, 26 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Nkon21: For 1909 Ottoman countercoup, IP removed 1 reference and added huge chunks of blank space for no reason, hence I treated it as vandalism be it subtle or major as long as user removed reference that not are deemed unreliable or are not permanently dead, I deemed it as such. In addition, there is no valid reason to add huge clunk of blank space hence not this is good faith. For Kim So-yeon, user started out as IP user which I reverted IP edits because the award IP is trying to add already existed and I told IP user that I is already included and to double check the table. Few minutes later, IP user registered for an account, and added the same thing again. I reverted it as vandalism which I believe I clicked the wrong button (same mistake as you with Itzy, such mistake happens), user adds it back, I reverted it as disruptive editing, user adds it back again, I reverted with message to tell user to check carefully and to stop disruptive editing. All of this is communicated via the user talk page via the optional revert message and also via my talk page. After which, user is clearly wrong because Alexanderlee reverted user edits and told user the same thing I have tried telling user multiple times before user stopped it.
- Anyway I don't wish to continue this discussion as I don't think there would be an ending to it as your views differs from my views which is pretty normal considering the real world outside Wikipedia is like this also. You can stand by your views and judgement, I'm going stand by my views and judgement. - @Nkon21 and Girth Summit: (looping Nkon21 and Girth here. Girth, leave your view if you wish). Hi Paper9oll, Good day. I am one of the CUVA trainers and I am an Australian. I pasted the communication above so Girth Summit (admin and CVUA trainer) would know the issue/concern/situation here which which raised by Nkon21. You have already have talk page archive set up, so no need to remove/delete messages on your talk page as they will archive automatically and also any edits made which have been removed/deleted can also be found on the history log. From the communication above, I dont think editor Nkon21 was in anyway rude to you and I dont understand why you got offended. Nkon21 mainly stated some edits which you made and informed you of their views. Also, as an Wikipedia editor, we communicate/discuss when certain issues needed to be address/solved and Wikipedia:Communication is required.
- I will address two reverts made by Paper9oll here.
- (1) Choi Soo-young - So I Married the Anti-fan (TV) and you reverted and place the info on (Web Series) - This is the editor first and only edit - see here. Vandalism is editor made an edit(s) with the intent to deliberately harm the project/Wikipedia. I dont think this was an vandalism edit and we should treat the edit as AFG which the editor mistakenly (by the way, there is no indication from the source that the it is a web-series or TV film). What we would do is simply move the info from TV section to web section.
- (2) Rose - born in New Zealand. The source indicate the subject was born in NZ see source here=NZL and raised in Australia - see source here-AUS. As an Australian myself, many New Zealanders who moved to Australian would take up the Australian citizenships especially when the subject moved from NZ to AU when she was 7 years old and not for working reason as an adult. Since there is no source indication of she holds an Australian passport or citizenship, we could not know if that is the case. However, it is the editor first edits of two they have made and did leave an edit summary. We (I would) could take it as AFG since it was the editor first edit where an ES was placed. If the editor made many vandalism edits or some warning messages on their talk page, then we can take it as vandalism. I would revert the edit and state "as per source" and leave a personal message and the source on the editor talk page to inform them the revert as per source (new editor would not know to check the edit summary on the history log). If the editor keep on making the same edit after receiving your personal message, then we could take the subsequent edits as vandalism edits.
- My advice is that revert then "communicate"/leave a personal message to the editor either to info or to educate (or both) especially if the editors are new and that were their edits unless their edit intentions were to deliberately harm Wikipedia. We all were new editors once and we all know how many unintentional mistakes we have made in Wikipedia. Thanks to all the more experienced editors who take their time to help, support and educated us via leaving messages and links to guidelines on our talk pages to help us to learn the Wikipedia way. When we become more experienced and know the guidelines then we do the same to the new editors. For vandalism editors, we deter them, for good faith editors we educate and support them and remember, communication is the key. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia(talk) 06:55, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
- @CASSIOPEIA: Hi Cassiopeia, the problem isn't really a big matter, however Nkon21 choose to make it a very big matter despite me already explaning to him. Apologies for the manual archiving, because as mentioned above, I would like to close the discussion and move on. Thanks you for the advice, would take note in my future revert so as to prevent misunderstanding.
- The rationale behind Choi Soo-young article revert, is pretty simple, I'm a frequent editor of the article which means I know the structure pretty well. In addition, the content of Web series vs Television series is pretty clear (at least to me) by the network column which consists of Netflix and Naver TV, as far as I'm aware Netflix is not television network even though most modern television comes with internet capabilities which enables watching Netflix if user are subscribed to the service. Naver TV is also similar service to Netflix. As for Rose (New Zealand), as mentioned above, the nationality was sourced and comment were left by previous editor hence I reverted it, this is actually not the first time, IP user or newly registered user (referring to previous ones) changed the nationality back and forth.
- To sum up, I will take note for my future reverts to treat 1st revert as AGF while subsequent as vandalism if applicable. Looking back on Choi Soo-young, I may have been too protective with the fast reverting without taking into consideration, IP user is likely not able to differentiate between web vs television network. Similarly, I will take note and take into consideration for my future reverts to treat 1st revert as AGF while subsequent ones as vandalism if applicable. Once again thanks you, stay safe and happy editing. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 08:07, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Paper9oll, thank you for your reply. Note: Not all first edit by new editors are good faith. If the editor "intention" of their edit is deliberately harm Wikipedia that would be considered vandalsim then give them a warning and increase the warning level on the same subsequent edits. I believe the issues/concern has been solved/understood, thus all is good now. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia(talk) 09:23, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
@CASSIOPEIA: Noted, thanks for the advice. "Not all first edit by new editors are good faith. If the editor "intention" of their edit is deliberately harm Wikipedia that would be considered vandalsim then give them a warning and increase the warning level on the same subsequent edits
", yup seen a lot when patrolling recent changes or when using Huggle or when watching my watchlist. Thanks you once again for taking your time in solving this "issues/concern" even though it is should been solved ... anyway thanks you. Happy a good day.
- Thank you for your input Cassiopeia, that is very good advice. I would also like to point out that writing
the problem isn't really a big matter
is not the right mindset here. Per WP:BITE, working with new editors who are unlikely to understand how the website works in terms of policies is a must in building this type of free and collaborative encyclopedia. We were all new editors here at some point, and despite not knowing all the nits and grits of the website's policies, having your edits labelled as vandalism when they in fact were not definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The bottom line is that when rollbacking edits as vandalism, you must be certain that those edits are unambiguous forms of vandalism (as outlined here in WP:VANDTYPES), which those reverts which were mentioned here were not. Best, ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 15:32, 28 June 2021 (UTC)- @Nkon21: As mentioned previously (three times in fact), I wish to move on from this discussion. I already understood what you're saying even before (maybe you don't feel and intrepret that way) you ping the other 3 editors (including Cassiopeia) for their opinions, and I understood Cassiopeia advice clearly. The misunderstanding has been resolved and I hope you don't further extend this discussion and make a mountain out of a molehill, please respect my opinions when I said clearly previously and now that I wish to move on. In addition, please note (which I believe you're already awared of) that I'm allowed to archived the discussion as per WP:REMOVED and WP:DRC as a form of closure. Yuta has just recently been given his own article, but there's a lot of work to be done, so I'd appreciate it if you could take a look at it. --Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 17:16, 26 June 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Binnie (singer)
I tried my best to improve this draft but it got declined a second time. Looking at it she doesn't really meet the criteria of that of a singer but I think she has notability as an actress. Could you have a look at it and let me know what you think? Draft:Binnie_(singer) --Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 21:27, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Btspurplegalaxy: Noted will try to improve it. To pass as actress, her solo activities needs to have independent coverage which basically means she can't be "mentioned by passing", in addition she needs to have more major role vs cameo role. What it means by "mentioned by passing" is that she can't be mentioned though an article written for Oh My Girl or another actor/actress as that isn't really independent coverage. From I can't see is that she has more cameo role than main/supporting role which is likely the reason why it fails to pass as actress. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 00:56, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
Removal of Space Shower Music Awards
I want to know the reason behind the removal of space shower music awards nomination from Awards and Nominations of Blackpink. They were nominated for it and link was also available. It is also a notable award,so why does it gets removes from the list again and again? — Preceding unsigned comment added by June 099 (talk • contribs) 06:13, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- @June 099: It is not notable enough and lack of coverage from secondary reliable sources. Having an article and primary source is not enough to support the award ceremony is notable. Unless, you can provide multiple secondary reliable source to support it else it cannot be added. A quick search, doesn't return any result from reliable news sources, and mostly (if not all) are self-published sources. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 06:52, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, With due respect, if it is not notable then why is it mentioned in other groups' list of awards and achievements? — Preceding unsigned comment added by June 099 (talk • contribs) 18:36, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- @June 099: There are list that are well-maintained and list are not well-maintained. What I meant by well-maintained is referring to whether it is following notability guidelines. So far, as mentioned previously a quick search return mostly (if not all) sources that are self-published source in which Blackpink are mentioned. There are zero to none secondary sources that mentioned Blackpink in their reporting of the award. Unless you can proof that there is sufficient coverage from secondary sources that are not self-published source, it cannot be added to list. Please also note that Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. In addition, please reply to this thread instead of opening a new thread with no valid reason in doing so. - Consensus has been reached to delete all books in the book namespace. There was rough consensus that the deleted books should still be available on request at WP:REFUND even after the namespace is removed.
- An RfC is open to discuss the next steps following a trial which automatically applied pending changes to TFAs.
- IP addresses of unregistered users are to be hidden from everyone. There is a rough draft of how IP addresses may be shown to users who need to see them. This currently details allowing administrators, checkusers, stewards and those with a new usergroup to view the full IP address of unregistered users. Editors with at least 500 edits and an account over a year old will be able to see all but the end of the IP address in the proposal. The ability to see the IP addresses hidden behind the mask would be dependent on agreeing to not share the parts of the IP address they can see with those who do not have access to the same information. Accessing part of or the full IP address of a masked editor would also be logged. Comments on the draft are being welcomed at the talk page.
- The community authorised COVID-19 general sanctions have been superseded by the COVID-19 discretionary sanctions following a motion at a case request. Alerts given and sanctions placed under the community authorised general sanctions are now considered alerts for and sanctions under the new discretionary sanctions.

However, you persisted in doing so.
- In addition, the two links are considered self-published source and ripping it and pasting it into Wikipedia is considered copyright violation.
- Please also read Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information and Fancruft. In addition, I have added Welcome guide to your talk page, the guide consists of multiple helpful links which you should read all of it. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 05:38, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
- ok, sorry about it. But can I edit it again if I find the sources of that?GoddessBerns (talk) 05:49, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
- @GoddessBerns: Nope, please use the talk page to discuss the changes you would like to made, in addition please make sure to provide reliable secondary sources to proof the awards you would like to add are notable enough and has significant coverage as per Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Judging from your previous edits to the article in question, none of the missing awards are notable awards nor has significant coverage from secondary reliable sources. Please also note that, popular K-pop news site like Allkpop, Soompi, Koreaboo, etc are considered unreliable source. Finally, the list is not for music shows awards and any such inclusion will be reverted, music shows awards are reserved for the song article only, the same WP:NOTDATABASE guidelines applies. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 07:01, 4 July 2021 (UTC)

Regarding Sakura Miyawaki
Hi. This is Ram, an J-idol fan. I have been told that my updates are not "constructive" to be in this page. She is no longer an idol and is now focusing on her solo activities. Her HKT48 sendoff performance was on June 27 and latest activity was opening her new YT channel last July 3.
Please explain the meaning of this undoing; these are actual events.
Thanks. --Ram Roldan (talk) 14:40, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Ram Roldan Please note that your edit was reverted because it is non-constructive. Do not change "singer and actress" without providing valid reason in doing so, in addition, your reasoning that "
she is no longer and idol is now focusing on her solo activities
" is purely original research. Starting an YouTube channel, doesn't means she is no longer active as singer and actress. This is just your speculation and original research. Fyi, I have manually restored the content regarding her final performance with HKT48. Regarding, the addition of her starting YouTube channel, that is trivia and shouldn't be included which was I didn't restore it. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 14:52, 7 July 2021 (UTC)

Taeyeon lead section
Please explain why my edits at Taeyeon are disruptive. Ippantekina (talk) 14:33, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Ippantekina You have been reverted back and forth without valid reason in doing so, your so-called improvements is not improvements at all when you are removing things and making it harder and confusing to read. The current revision doesn't have any issues and read perfectly fine. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 14:36, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- So you think changing the grammatically incorrect "Girls' Generation in 2007, which became one of the most popular K-pop girl groups" to "in 2007 with Girls' Generation, one of the most popular K-pop girl groups" makes it "harder" to read? That is not a just explanation. Ippantekina (talk) 14:38, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Ippantekina Then please explain why you changed from "
one of the best-selling artists in South Korea and one of the most popular K-pop girl groups worldwide
" to "one of the most popular K-pop girl groups and best-selling artists in South Korea
" by removing mentions of worldwide and only implying the group popularity restrictly to South Korea only? In addition, you also changed from "She has since participated in other SM Entertainment projects, including Girls' Generation-TTS, SM the Ballad, and Oh!GG
" to "She has participated in other Girls' Generation-affiliated projects, including Girls' Generation-TTS, SM the Ballad, and Oh!GG
"? I'm pretty sure DragonFury already told you via edit summary that it is factually incorrect to write it as Girls' Generation-affiliated (which I agreed with him)however you decided to ignore it and reinstate your revision. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 14:48, 15 July 2021 (UTC)- Please see this edit. I corrected that part after my first edit was reverted. "worldwide" is superfluous--"one of the most popular K-pop girl groups" never implied that their popularity was limited to South Korea only. Ippantekina (talk) 14:56, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- Please note that I did NOT ignore what DragonFury said about SM-related projects, and you were assuming bad faith in my edits. Ippantekina (talk) 14:58, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Ippantekina How you rewrote it implied that their popularity is restricted to South Korea only, you may think that your wording is correct and "
worldwide
" is consider superfluous, however not all readers would think and read as such. In regards to the diff, you restored it however I can say the same thing to you as well, adding Girls' Generation-affiliated is superfluous. The current paragraph read perfectly fine and that is no reason to change it. In addition, I didn't implied your edits are make in bad faith, you say it yourself. Even if you didn't ignore what DragonFury said, there is no need to change it into Girls' Generation-affiliated ...., and SM Entertainment project SM the Ballad when as mentioned above, all four groups are under SM Entertainment. The current revision is written in debut-sequence format with SM Town first, followed by TTS, SM the Ballad, and Oh!GG. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 15:11, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

TVING
Hi there, I recently visited the page mentioned on the heading, and noticed that you're the creator and major contributor at the moment. I found some information on the page to be partially incorrect or I would rather say incomplete. Actually, Tving was launched as a subscription-based video-on-demand internet service in May 2010, by CJ Hello Vision.1 And in January 2016, it was acquired by CJ E&M from CJ Hello Vision.2 And then in October 2020, it was spun-off into a separate company (a company like Netflix). I was planning to add more content and make necessary changes on my own, but the topic doesn't interests me. But I already did an initial research and thought it better to share with you than letting my efforts go in vain. Thank you. -ink&fables «talk» 18:12, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
Also, this was just an intial research, so some facts could be inaccurate, so please verify them if you plan to work with them. Cheers! -ink&fables «talk» 18:19, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
Sorry! I just noticed that you have created Naver TV and not TVING. Still, I am leaving my text if it could be of some work. Happy editing. -ink&fables «talk» 18:27, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hi -ink&fables, thanks you for taking the time to research. I have implemented source 1 and 2 into the article and corrected the factual errors, I did however removed the October 2020 part as I'm still trying to find the source for the spun-off which if I remember correctly is called TVING Co. Ltd.in which CJ and JTBC are major shareholders in the joint venture. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 04:52, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
beautiful user-page!
hello dear Paper9oll , you have a beautiful page! How can I create those two sections you have on your profile? the banner on the right, and that table for the articles you created.
I peeked in the edit section this code string:

but it doesn't give me the same result, do I have to create the User:Nscent/Articles page to make that table appear automatically in my page, in a clean way as in your user page?
I would also like to know how to put the information in what I assume you have entered as an infobox, to get that banner on the right.

Lastly I'd like to know how I can write like this too:
since I added it manually like this:
Thank you very much in advance for any reply, best regards!Nscent (talk) 15:17, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Nscent, in answering to your queries. For the articles created table, yes you need to create User:Nscent/Articles after which add in wikitable coding and format the table and columns to your preferences.
- For Infobox, you can either use Template:Infobox Wikipedia user or create User:Nscent/Infobox template and User:Nscent/Infobox.
- If you want to create your own templates, then paste your below code into User:Nscent/Infobox template
<includeonly>{{Infobox | bodystyle = {} | headerstyle = {} | title = | labelstyle = font-weight:bold; word-wrap:nowrap | datastyle = word-wrap:nowrap | label1 = Gender | data1 = {} | label2 = Nationality | data2 = {} | label3 = Country | data3 = {} | label4 = Language(s) | data4 = {} | label5 = Time zone | data5 = {} | label6 = Race | data6 = {} | label7 = Height | data7 = {} | label8 = MBTI | data8 = {} | header9 = Account statistics | label10 = Joined | data10 = {} | label11 = Edit count | data11 = {{plain link|https://xtools.wmflabs.org/ec/wiki.riteme.site/Nscent|{} edits}} | label12 = Article(s) created | data12 = {} | label13 = Template(s) created | data13 = {} | header14 = {{#if:{}|User rights}} | label15 = Autoconfirmed | data15 = {} | label16 = Extended confirmed | data16 = {} | label17 = Autopatrolled | data17 = {} | label18 = File mover | data18 = {} | label19 = New page reviewer | data19 = {} | label20 = Page mover | data20 = {} | label21 = Pending changes reviewer | data21 = {} | label22 = Rollbacker | data22 = {} | label23 = Template editor | data23 = {} | label24 = Administrator | data24 = {} | header25 = {{#if:{}|Tools used}} | label26 = Anti-vandalism | data26 = {} | label27 = Categorization | data27 = {} | label28 = Editing | data28 = {} | label29 = Archiving | data29 = {} | label30 = Maintenance | data30 = {} | label31 = Others | data31 = {} | header32 = {{#if:{}|WikiProject participation}} | data33 = {{#if:{}| <table style="background: transparent; vertical-align: middle !important; text-align: center; font-size: 95%; color: {#000000}; margin: auto; border-spacing: 0px; border-collapse: collapse;"> <tr><td> {} </td></tr> </table> }} | header34 = {{#if:{}|The Wikipedia Adventure}} | data35 = {{#if:{}| <table style="background: transparent; vertical-align: middle !important; text-align: center; font-size: 95%; color: {#000000}; margin: auto; border-spacing: 0px; border-collapse: collapse;"> <tr><td> {} </td></tr> </table> }} }}</includeonly>
After which the below code into User:Nscent/Infobox and fill in the relevant fields

For the topicon, just paste this
and
into top of your user page. You add more topicon when you are more experienced. The 2 code I provided are what you are currently applicable.

Draft:Moon Taeil
Hi! I'm currently working on a Wikipedia draft right now for Moon Taeil (NCT). The reviewer of the draft is really strict and I feel like they reject every draft I submit. Delete the wrong things only
Thank you for correcting me. But please delete on wrong/unreliable enough things only. I took hours to view every single pages of several articles. And you deleted everything from me because you think you’re right? Is Gaon a reliable source? Yes, it is. Is Soompi a reliable source? Yes, it is. And what I said is always linked to a source. So delete things belong to not reliable source enough ONLY. Not EVERYTHING which I took hours to write. Callmeur (talk) 16:44, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Callmeur Hi there, Soompi isn't reliable source as per WP:KO/RS#UR. Same for Allkpop, Koreaboo, etc (which of course, you didn't add them but just pointing it out). I have restored Gaon inclusion part. However, not for Billboard part, I would need you to rephrase it such as preventing repetition if you intended to add it back, the Billboard source is okay. In addition, the Billboard part, you added almost (at least 95% similarity) the same thing twice which is unneccessary. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:53, 22 July 2021 (UTC)

Removing YouTube from profiles
Hello, I noticed you removed the YouTube infobox from Sakura Miyawaki. While I understand your reasons, I want to know what to do about other celebrities involved in YouTube that did not necessarily start off on the platform, such as models like Nozomi Maeda and Haruna Kojima, as well as voice actors like Natsuki Hanae. lullabying (talk) 03:17, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Lullabying Hi there, if you were to ask me I would remove it as those information are not important and only cater to certain audience. You can retain it or remove it from the 3 mentioned person infoboxes. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 05:39, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- I do want to make an argument for Sakura Miyawaki listing hers: while she didn't gain fame through YouTube, she still makes and generates original content. She has her own vlog channel aside from her gaming channel. Similar celebrities that were famous before getting into YouTube were the three I mentioned, as well as Hiro Mizushima and Yusuke Shirai. lullabying (talk) 05:44, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Lullabying Hi, I removed from Sakura article because she was involved in K-pop as Iz*One, as far I'm aware of, articles (at least those that I have come across or been following/watching) related to Korean entertainment industry (be it singer or actor/actress) doesn't has YouTube infobox emebed in their infobox. Few of the article, I watched has seen IP user or newly registered adding them (the YouTube infobox) before, which was immediately reverted by other editors including admin. The other editors and admin, I'm referring to are not some random editor that came and revert the articles, but frequent editor editing Korean-related articles. I can't say much about other Japanese actor/actress/singer as I'm not well-verse with Japanese entertainment industry unless the person has been in Korean entertainment industry (in particular K-pop). In short, we don't see Infobox YouTube personality embed into Korean actor/actress/singer/companies/agencies/groups/etc articles. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 06:00, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, but Sakura Miyawaki's gaming channel had existed before she even entered the K-pop industry and it was part of her activities with HKT48. lullabying (talk) 06:10, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Lullabying As mentioned, those information are trivia and only catered to certain audience. From my understanding, the Infobox YouTube personality is supposed to be used by original YouTuber only. Existed before doesn't mean it can't be removed, those information are not important to her main career. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 06:20, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- Idols are a niche genre to begin with, and being on YouTube is part of her career. If it were a corporate-run channel, I would understand, but to my understanding, she runs this channel herself and produces original content for it. If there are Japanese celebrities who list their YouTube information on their Wikipedia (Sally Amaki for one, as she is also an idol singer with a YouTube channel), I don't see a reason why it can't be listed on her page especially when being on YouTube is part of her activities. lullabying (talk) 05:20, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Lullabying Main activities is what we are talking about here in Wikipedia, such trivia information that carries no weight shouldn't be included. It is like saying Singer A is who is mainly known for vocal, and in some random videos published in their group channel, Singer A is seen playing guitar/drum/etc, at the same time, Singer A is also seen in one concert playing piano, and then decided those are notable enough and self-deemed as not trivia information to be added into instrumentals field of Infobox musical artist.
- In addition, for Sally Amaki, according to history logs, you added the information into the article, so it seem like you are not happy with me removing something you have added. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 06:06, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- I did not add the one for Hiro Mizushima, however. Also, this isn't her group channel; this is her individual channel that she personally runs. lullabying (talk) 06:44, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Lullabying I believe I have repeated it multiple times already that it should only be included if they are notable mainly as YouTube personality with wide coverage from independent secondary sources. In answering to what was initially asked, Sakura isn't notable mainly as YouTube personality nor is there sufficient coverage from independent secondary sources that are not considered unreliable to support she is mainly notable as such. I'm not going to debate, whether you added Infobox YouTube personality to either Hiro Mizushima and any other Japanese musician/actor/writer/director/etc article or not as this is going to be an never ending discussion. And as mentioned previously, such information are trivia and shouldn't even be included in Wikipedia in the first place when notability as YouTube personality can't established and inclusion is supported by self-published primary source only which pretty much violates 5P1, 5P2, NOT and BLP. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 13:39, 21 July 2021 (UTC)

Creating a timeline for WJSN's active and inactive members
I intended to create one myself but I cannot figure it out. Since 2018, WJSN's Chinese members have all been inactive because of their solo projects in China. Is it possible for you to create it or give me some instruction on how to do it? --Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 01:05, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

- @Paper9oll What I'm saying is that the Chinese members didn't return for 'For the Summer' and 'As You Wish' comeback. The last comeback that Xuanyi, Cheng Xiao, and Meiqi appeared in was "Dreams Come True" which was all the way back in February 2018. Since then they haven't been active as WJSN members. --Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 02:11, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

Adding protection template using twinkle
Hey Paper9oll, I noticed this edit and wanted to let you know that there is another way to add protection templates using twinkle. Just go to the page that you want to add the protection template and press twinkles RPP button. Under "Type of action" select "Tag page with protection template" and choose the protection template that you want to add to the page. Hope this helps :) EN-Jungwon 15:51, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
- @EN-Jungwon Thanks a lot for the tips. I was looking at the tag menu and can't find the template hence manually inserted it. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:17, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
Reverted edit(s)
Hi! I'm sorry if my edits on Loona's article were incorrect. For the first edit of those two, I acknowledged my mistake. But for the last one, to make things clear, I want to genuinely ask. Is it okay to include the Gaon Download Chart even though the song didn't chart on other main chart(s)? Because last time I listed them on other artist, it also got reverted. That's all. Thank you in advance.Byy2 (talk) 01:45, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Byy2 No issues with including non-lead singles that has not charted in Gaon Digital Chart. From my understanding, it is okay to include if the singles has charted in component Gaon's Download/Streaming/BGM chart by denoting it using the efn template. Same styling for lead single that has not charted in Gaon Digital Chart. I'm not sure which article you're referring to regarding to
last time I listed them on other artist
hence don't know what the issue was. However, in referencing Girls' Generation discography which has featured list status, you can find the same styling applied to the other charted songs table where quite of couple of songs from Lion Heart and Holiday Night charted on Gaon's component chart. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 02:15, 29 July 2021 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted
Hi Paper9oll, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Mini albums
Is there a rule or Wikipedia guideline that the term mini album can't be used. In my opinion its reasonable to use the term, given its a Korean product and has been labeled by SM Entertainment as such. Also the term was written under double apostrophe as its a special term for Korean music releases. It is confusing referring Queendom as the 6th EP when it is clearly not. You won't be calling it their 6th, if its also the 12th. Also "twenth"?TheHotwiki (talk) 05:50, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Hotwiki Korean media, agencies, etc does not use the term "EP" in their promotional release, reports, etc. They always use "mini album" which is essentially "EP". It's not confusing to label it as such neither is it confusing to say it is 6th extended play and 12th overall, in case you're confused by such styling or seeing it the first time, 6th refers to Korean release while the 12th part refers to overall combine (Korean + Japanese). The 6th doesn't accounts for Japanese release, as Japanese release would be written as "it is 3rd Japanese EP/studio albums/etc), why such styling, don't ask me, this is commons use styling in Korean groups releases articles and I don't know who started this. In addition, you can check out related discussion on mini album vs EP usage, here and here, there are more but I can't remember where they are or the extact section title hence it is harder to search for. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 06:10, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Hotwiki Adding on, I would also like to inform that the sequence is not confusing because The Red Summer, Summer Magic, The ReVe Festival: Day 1 and The ReVe Festival: Day 2 are labelled as special extended play from 1st special extended play to 4th special extended play. While RBB is labelled as fifth extended play. I have also revert the changes you made, please open up discussion to proceed ahead as per WP:BRD. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 06:26, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- It is confusing because their other Korean EPs are labeled as summer or special. Me as a reader, literally had to understand these labels when browsing the pages. I still don't see whats wrong by using the term "mini albums" when the term "special album" and "summer album" are mentioned in other Red Velvet ep articles.TheHotwiki (talk) 06:24, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Hotwiki We don't use "special album" nor "summer album" in Wikipedia either, it is normally
summer orspecial extended play
orsummer or special single album
orsummer or special studio album
. Studio album is rarely special nor summer release. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 06:29, 9 August 2021 (UTC)- The Red Summer (EP) the term special and summer are mentioned in the article.TheHotwiki (talk) 06:32, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

"Marketed as the 6th mini album", would be good. As long as "6th mini" is mentioned, I have no complaints. People who aren't familiar with Red Velvet's releases (like I was before) would find it confusing when reading these articles, especially when looking at the discography page, Queendom isn't the 6th ep listed in the extended play section.TheHotwiki (talk) 06:47, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

"Chyuyeyeo" trivial fact from Chuu (singer)
Hi there. Could you please help doing something like a warning in Chuu (singer so that people can stop puting the "Chyuyeyeo" in the article. Thanks so much :D BaaBaaTheSheep (talk) 10:05, 10 August 2021 (UTC) BaaBaaTheSheep (talk) 10:05, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- @BaaBaaTheSheep There is nothing we can actually do about such inclusion other than reverting them for now. Currently 3 different IP (likely the same person as all of it are listed as from Japan) have added similar content to the article, however because they are using 3 different IP address, we can't actually do anything about it since each of them only added it once. We can ask administrator to block IP via WP:AIV once they are given warning 4 times, however since they are only warned once, this is insufficient to request to have them blocked. You can however try your luck in asking for the article to be semi-protected via WP:RPP, however in most cases, they are normally rejected for low activity or not severe enough to warrant protection.
- However, don't worry, I will however keep a lookout for the article activities, if the disruptive behavior continues after a week or IP has been continuously doing it then I will request the article to be semi-protected. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 11:43, 10 August 2021 (UTC)

Anchors
Hello Paper9oll. I'm just wondering why you removed the shorter id="name" anchors in the table and changed them to anchor templates? —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 01:42, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- @HueMan1 This is the proper way to do it, in case you're wondering. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 01:44, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Paper9oll: But id="name" works just fine? What do you mean by "the proper way to do it"? Have you seen Help:Table#Section link or map link to a row anchor? —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 01:53, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- @HueMan1 Yes, id do work however they would jump to incorrect place at times. Anchor is the better one, furthermore in case you're not aware, this is the solution used in featured list articles and also in List of awards and nominations received by Twice. In addition, Wikipedia is a collaborative project, everyone is allowed to make changes for the greater good. Maybe this wasn't your intention, it does however seem like (at least in my experience with you) that you like to question my work and at times edit them to suit your preferences, at times I just ignore it since if I decided to not let go and continue then that will become edit warring or violating 3RR. While I understand your intention and good faith, please also understand my intention as well, I don't make changes unnecessary or in bad faith. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 02:07, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- I understand. How does id malfunction though? Can you give me an example or does it happen randomly? —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 02:22, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
- @HueMan1 Thanks you for the understanding. It is hard to replicate as it happens randomly. When using id, when clicking link on the compact toc, say H is clicked, instead of jumping to the where the H was, it will jump slightly below the anchor. Taking the List of songs recorded by Twice for example, it should jump to "Handle It" when it function correctly, when it malfunction, it will jump to "Happy Happy" or "Heart Shaker" or displayed as between "Happy Happy" and "Heart Shaker". While for anchor, because it is position/coded at the end of "Handle It", when clicked on H, it will jumped to where it is intended. While it is hard to explain and also replicate, hopefully you understand. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 02:30, 13 August 2021 (UTC)

Korea First Brand Awards
Hello Paper9oll, I changed the award title, because i saw on Yoon Bo-ra page at the Award section.. It stated she won/ got nominated for the most anticipated female actress award in the same Awards, also in the headline of Kwak Dong-yeon reference website(that you saw), and the article in another reference, which mentioned about Straykids won the most expected idol or smthing like this.. That's why i thought the title was wrong. May be it's just actor award like u said. Im still confused. But anything is fine. TY! Samekizofu (talk) 01:57, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
Sorry correction for straykids, the article stated "The group Stray Kids was selected as 'the most anticipated new male idol in 2019' at the '2019 Korea First Brand Awards'." Samekizofu (talk) 02:01, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Samekizofu Follow the primary source (primary source in Wikipedia means that the source itself is from the publisher which in this context is Korea First Brand Awards committee themselves) which I have included. The "most anticipated so and so" or "the x to look forward to" is simply a headline used by media and what the media themselves feel is the "most anticipated so and so in that year" or "who to look forward to in the future". In short, a more elegant way of "who is the rising star". It has no relationship to the award name/category. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 02:24, 16 August 2021 (UTC)

Reverting and notifications
Can you please stop reverting my edits? You can freely edit the Red Velvet articles the way you want without reverting my edit, or hitting the undo button. I always get notified when you undo my edits. Its looking like a pattern and I don't appreciate being reverted like as if my edits were unacceptable.TheHotwiki (talk) 10:14, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Hotwiki Dude, I didn't revert your recent edit using the undo button. I simply restore the older revision using Twinkle, I have no control on how Wikipedia notifications work. Sorry to say this, if you hate notifications, you can turn them off however this is part and parcel of editing on Wikipedia, I at times got bunch of notifications per day as well, however I didn't complain about it. Well, of course I know your edits are good faith, however some are your changes are not appropriate (not actually inappropriate but I'm not sure what is the correct term, basically I meant to say structurely/sentencely weird). — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 12:02, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
Fan meeting
Hi @Paper9oll
It's me again. I was wondering if i really can't add Fan meeting information to Kwak Dong-yeon's page? I added but some editors not allowed, saying it fan meeting = NONEWS.. I understand that and not add it anymore, but i gave them the lists of some Korean actors, singers that have the fan meeting information in their pages. Hoping that tgey will delete them as well, but they are still the same.
So can u please tell me if i really cant add to his page? If so, could u please help delete these fan meeting from other actors pages as well? I feel its unfair that only him cant be add😭
Here are some i found.
(Mostly are in the career section, and fanmeeting table section) Kim soohyun Cha eunwoo Lee joon gi Park bo gum Song joong ki Jang ki yong Jung hae in (in the public relations section) Bambam (singer) Park jinyoung Kim hyunjoong
Thank you so much❤️ Samekizofu (talk) 08:05, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Samekizofu Your edit was removed because it doesn't carry any weight as such information is pretty trivia to have a dedicated section or be mentioned in career/history section. You can however try your luck again by adding them in such format, however no guarantee, it won't get reverted by Alex and Drmies. I haven't worked on fan meeting section before but I have with concerts and tours section in multiple K-pop singer/group articles, hence I'm not sure if they are handled differently or not. Do note that, if it was reverted again, you should stop trying to add them back, as we have policies such as WP:3RR and such behavior of not wanting to stop would be considered as edit warring which can get your account blocked temporary for shortest period of 24 hours, 1–3 weeks, 1–12 months, or permanently in worse case. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 10:07, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, I think the information i added before was very completed, just like others Korean actors. But it still be deleted. Im not sure why, what's the difference between his fan meeting and others? I will try asking alex again about this, before adding it to his page. Its tiring to add and got deleted, so I better ask for approval first. Thank you so much for your advice..❤️ Samekizofu (talk) 11:51, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Samekizofu You can try asking him again, I did saw the conversation previously. He probably would tell you the same thing as per WP:WHATABOUT. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 12:07, 16 August 2021 (UTC)

- This is do confusing. Its ok to me to not add this information, just i dont know why others can have. That's all. I dont have enough credibility or authorize enuf to delete them from others pages. The fans will just revert it back again. Btw i just ask Alex at his talk page..waiting for his reply 🤧🥺 Samekizofu (talk) 12:17, 16 August 2021 (UTC)

Removal of edit request
Hi! Here, do you think it's better to explain to the editor how to make an edit request instead of just removing it? The editor may come back to the edit request wondering where it's gone and they may not know how edit requests work. Regards, --Ferien (talk) 16:42, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Ferien The instructions is already there in "black and white" for them to follow in case you're not aware.[7] If they don't read it, what I'm suppose to even do. Furthermore, the instructions on WP:EDITREQUEST is basically the same thing by telling them to add necessary template onto the article talkpage and typing their request. Fyi, I have been following this article, and article was recently protected due to fans constantly denying the fact that artist has left (G)I-dle, I wouldn't say this IP is (G)I-dle fans but such empty request are normally of such, I seen a lot in Korean-related articles. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:58, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- I understand, but isn't it ok to just decline them instead of just removing them entirely? It says "Blank edit requests will be declined.", not necessarily removed. Either way, thank you for explaining. --Ferien (talk) 17:05, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- Adding on, empty edit request are frequently reverted by other familiar editors (referring to active editors within Korean-related articles) and I don't see them leaving any sort of messages either. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 17:06, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
Queendom track listing
Hi! I figured I'd take the conversation away from just reverting each others' edits. I don't think any of my edits go against the source. 1. Cazzi Opeia and Ellen Berg form a songwriting/toplining duo called Sunshine. 2. Moonshine is a duo formed by Jonatan Gusmark and Ludvig Evers. 3. Linking Kim In-hyung to Jam Factory#L diary makes adding (Jam Factory) to the end of their credit redundant. None of that information contradicts the source and all of it follows precedent on 90% of SM wiki page track listings. If you still disagree with me, please re me to continue the discussion :) 41matt14 (talk) 17:33, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @41matt14 Isn't that considered as original research as the source doesn't mentioned Cazzi and Ellen is writing as part of Sunshine or implying that they are working together? Same for Moonshine. This information was gotten from Google research hence it is OR. Jam Factory was credited hence it must be included, which is why you don't see me adding Jam Factory to Lee Seu-ran and Seo Ji-eum even though it was wikilinked or before it was wikilinked. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 00:41, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Paper9oll: I'm not sure I can find non-OR for Sunshine, but if you follow the credit source and simply click on Moonshine it shows that Moonshine is composed of Gusmark and Evers, so it shouldn't be OR while sourced or even maybe unsourced. I think Kim In-hyung is a matter of personal preference so since you created the page I'll leave it to your discretion, although I still think that since it's wikilinked putting Jam Factory in parentheses is unnecessarily redundant. 41matt14 (talk) 02:10, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- @41matt14 Okay, I have updated Moonshine. However, since Sunshine is OR, this shouldn't included. I will retain Jam Factory as well. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 02:20, 17 August 2021 (UTC)

Message issued due edit on Lisa (rapper)
Really rude edit summary and nasty talk page message! I don't care who you think you are. You shouldn't talk (or write) to someone like that! I'm surprised that they let someone like you on here! Peaches Salinga (talk) 10:04, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

- Personal attack? Why I never! I made a constructive edit and you abused me for it! You had no right to do that! You hide behind some rules or whatever, and think you are a king! Dragging them to ANI over pretty much nothing was disruptive. Nothing is to be gained by further communication here. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 10:47, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Jihyo
Hello. I saw your message. I just want to add "Yes, I am Jihyo", because on August 20, 2021, it was OFFICIALLY released and I saw that on August 24, Jihyo will have video call fansign for this photobook. So can you add this photobook to Wikipedia page for Jihyo, please? Thank You.Nikolai Boyanov (talk) 16:08, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Nikolai Boyanov As mentioned in the message I had left in your talk page, you need to provide reliable source to support your edit to ensure verifiable. This isn't the first time such message to inform you to provide reliable source has been left in your talk page, 4 times to be exact (December 2020 by EN-Jungwon, May 2021 by Drmies, July and August 2021 by me). I'm not going to rollback my changes, unless you can provide reliable source it even if it is fact as per WP:FACTCHECK. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:14, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
Please specify which articles you mean and stop misusing the term "title track"
By all means, please tell me which articles you're referring to so I can change the prose of them as well. Please stop misusing or helping to spread misuse of the term "title track". English-speaking readers do not understand it as meaning the name of a single that promotes a release. Yet again, any time I edit an article that's on your watchlist or that you have made extensive contributions to, you find a way to take issue with my edits specifically while you tolerate detrimentally crap edits from others with poor grammar and ripping quotes straight from sources—a serious copyright issue, by the way—as other articles you patrol you've let editors like MotherofSnakes wholesale copy sentences from sources or try to rephrase them when they don't even make sense. Again, I'd love to know which articles, even some examples, you've implied I've let the term slip on, so do let me know and once again, you don't need to edit articles straight after me. This is just petty and unnecessary. You don't own articles you have created so stop acting like it. Ss112 13:47, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Ss112 Nope, I'm not taking issues with your edit, I do welcome some of your copyediting and ones that quote particular guidelines with example and explanation, that one I thanks you for that as it enlightened my knowledge. However, I would appreciate you don't shout even if it is not in all-caps or in any other formatting such bold, italics, etc, I find that behavior arrogant. I never did tolerate poor grammar, the sentence read just fine and make sense according my knowledge and understanding, not everyone is expected to have A-plus English, if the sentence or paragraph reads weirdly, I would of course change it, however if it reads fine to me, I don't see a point in changing it. For the copyright issues due to without quotes, I have taken note on that since you informed me previously, before that I wasn't aware on having to quote as I thought having citations covers that already.
- As for title track vs lead single, you probably would have seen the revision, I have updated it to avoid title track as per your recommendation which I'm not sure where you gotten it from, however since you're pretty sure about it, I decided to follow suit however this doesn't implies that your explanation is convincing. When creating article, take your changes to reception section for instance, I actually referenced the layout from two K-pop article with GA status, this is the same reason on why I used title track because that is also referenced from GA status K-pop article. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 14:20, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- It's not an "accusation" [8]; you have deliberately edited every damn K-pop article you are interested in directly after me to change things to your preferred way. Why are you explaining the way edit conflicts work to me? That doesn't explain why you wrote "South Korea (Gaon)" instead of the way it should be for albums, which is "South Korean Albums (Gaon)". You and these other K-pop editors need to stop thinking you need to change everything an editor adds to a page as soon as it's added or add an archive as soon as a citation is added to an article. As I said to Carlobunnie, Gaon links have worked for years—the URLs aren't about to immediately stop working. Ss112 02:26, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Ss112 It is accusation because you have said it like 5 times and more that I been purposely editing after you, stop being paranoid and thinking every single editors interested in K-pop articles is stalking you or harrasing you. You just have faster internet and faster hands, period. Maybe you are the one dominating ownership attitude instead, not the first time, I seen such conversation of asking other editors to stop editing after you, have seen quite couple of times such as with Carlobunnie and its BTS-related article (yes, I star her talk page and various BTS-related articles). As mentioned, in the edit summary there is edit conflict. One more time, you accuse me of stalking/harrasing behavior, I will deem it as with bad faith intention rather than with good faith and for educational. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 02:42, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Except, Paper9oll, I don't edit articles that you and Carlobunnie have edited straight after you to correct or change things you have added or archive links (because that's so important), unless I'm taking issue with something you've "corrected" that I added in the first place. Funny how it only works one way? And so you can recall one other instance where I asked an editor to stop policing edits I made on a topic they followed, which Carlobunnie absolutely was doing when she reverted an edit of mine, and edited straight after me other times on Tomorrow X Together discography, just like you've done on every Red Velvet-related article I've happened to edit for the past few months. I'd love to see a time when I can ever make an edit to Joy, Wendy, Red Velvet discography and not have you come in when you're next online and change whatever I've done to what you would prefer it to be. If you claim you're not doing it purposely then great, but funny how the next editor to edit after me on these articles is always you, and your edit is somehow changing the material I have just added. Ss112 03:01, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Ss112 As mentioned in the above edit in my reply, if you think me or Carlobunnie or anyone else is stalking or harrasing purposely, I have no such intention in doing so hence please stop having that mindset. All of my edits are good faith and for improvements, yes I do admit that my English may be lacking in some ways and you have to corrected it at times, which I like to thanks you for that. Other than that, I don't think that is anymore to explain further or addon to my prior explanation. Thanks you and have a good weekend. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 03:10, 26 August 2021 (UTC)

If no, then this means that the edit was your original research as such the revert was correct. I also have manually reverted, the pinyin changes. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 04:58, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
