Hello, CFA,

If you are fixing a bad page move PLEASE leave a redirect behind even when it's a bad page title like this. Because you didn't, there were over 50 broken redirects that should have pointed to Al Gore but were pointing to this page instead. If you leave a redirect, then our bots will fix the double redirects and point all of the valid redirects to the right page and this bad redirect can be deleted. For some reason, page movers on this project don't like to leave redirects even when the result is broken redirects so if you choose to not leave one, please check "What links here" and repair all of these dozens of redirects manually. That's a lot more time consuming so I recommend leaving a redirect and letting the bots handle this. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 04:05, 1 October 2024 (UTC)

Oh, that makes sense. I didn't realize the double redirect bots were so quick. C F A 💬 14:32, 1 October 2024 (UTC)

User:Poshto philosopher moved to sandbox

I noticed that you had tagged User:Poshto philosopher for speedy deletion. I moved it to the user's sandbox instead. If the text on a user page looks like a potential article, I recommend moving it to the sandbox or draftifying it rather than deleting it. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 15:52, 1 October 2024 (UTC)

I get your point in general, but that "article" would qualify for U5 in a sandbox as well. Wikipedia is not supposed to be a place for personal essays. C F A 💬 20:17, 1 October 2024 (UTC)

Sinwar

Come on, what's your problem? This is not what I am saying, but what many others are saying. Sinwar is Israel's supposed number one enemy, so how can it eliminate Nasrallah, who holds a higher position than Sinwar, but cannot eliminate someone who was a prisoner of its for 23 years? Article tag

Hi, CFA! First, let me thank you again for reviewing the V Pappas draft at Articles for Creation and for explaining (on the Talk page) why you've added Template:Resume-like to the live page. I have a COI and avoid editing the main space, but I would like to address any concerns or problematic text with the goal of removing the tag.

I submitted an edit request seeking to remove the specific text you flagged, and the request was reviewed by User:Rusalkii via Template:Edit COI. In my subsequent request seeking to clarify the subject's relationship status, which is also in the 'Edit COI' queue, I've asked editors to identify any other ways I can work to address the tag. The request has not received any replies yet, which is not a problem, but I wanted to reach out directly to see if you would consider reviewing the request and/or identifying any other problematic text.

I am comfortable with being patient and waiting for other editors to review COI edit requests, but I also like to work with the editor who added the tag. If you're willing to revisit the entry, I'd appreciate any feedback or assistance here. Thanks again, Inkian Jason (talk) 15:43, 8 October 2024 (UTC)

Question from Jimmymooneyofficial (04:40, 9 October 2024)

Hello my name is Jimmy Mooney I am an American Actor I am also famous on social media and also known as a fighter for the famous boxer butterbean. How do I get my name and who I am put in the Wikipedia --Jimmymooneyofficial (talk) 04:40, 9 October 2024 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) @Jimmymooneyofficial: You don't. Wipedia is not a means of promotion, least of all for yourself. Further, this isn't the place for you to be writing an autobiography. If you are truly notable, someone will get around to writing an article about your someday. In the meantime, you should find things other than yourself to write about. --Hammersoft (talk) 17:25, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
lol I wasn’t weighting about myself I was asking a question about how to get on here so you did not understand at all Jimmymooneyofficial (talk) 20:01, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
Someone will write about you eventually if you are notable. Otherwise, don't bother. C F A 💬 20:15, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
@Jimmymooneyofficial: "Weighting about [your]self"? What does that mean? Your question appears to be asking how to get an article about yourself on here. If that's not the case, then please rephrase your question. --Hammersoft (talk) 20:49, 9 October 2024 (UTC)

Question from Jewish editors (19:25, 15 October 2024)

Hi zionism page is quiet antisemitic as I was unable to find any arguments to prove this line Zionists wanted to create a Jewish state in Palestine with as much land, as many Jews, and as few Palestinian Arabs as possible. As there are 2,080,000 Arabs this is not true. --Jewish editors (talk) 19:25, 15 October 2024 (UTC)

Hi, this is something to discuss on the article's talk page. However, because of frequent disruption in the Israel—Palestine topic area, editing and discussion is restricted to 3+ month-old accounts with over 500 edits. Are there other subjects you're interested in editing? Your homepage should also list some articles in need of improvement. Happy editing, C F A 💬 00:33, 16 October 2024 (UTC)

Question from Biscody on Draft:Pick pads/Picky Pads (22:21, 18 October 2024)

I'm having a little trouble creating a page for my fiancee , she invented the pick pad, a silicone slab with beads and other assorted items imbedded inside, used by people that have issues with self harm caused by skin picking and pimple popping. She invented the pick pad in late 2022 and made her first sale in April of 2023. It has been stolen by many people that claim to have invented it but we have solid proof in the form of an Etsy page. I'd love to get a wikipedia page for Kiona Kunkler, inventer of the pick pad/picky pad --Biscody (talk) 22:21, 18 October 2024 (UTC)

Hello! You marked the linked requested article page as {{under construction}}; I am wondering if I could be of any help finishing through. If so, I have a couple questions on how to move forward (e.g., were #Economic policy and #Economic problems intended to become their own pages?). Cheers, Tule-hog (talk) 18:28, 20 October 2024 (UTC)

Hi, I completely forgot about that. I think the next thing I was planning to do was clean up the "Finance" section. The Companies and Organizations pages also need to be cleaned up. C F A 💬 21:35, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
LMK if this checklist of cleanup tasks misses anything or does not follow the typical process:
  • use {{div col}}
  • trim to 3 most-notable refs
  • trim summary to ~200 chars
  • make large sections into subpages
  • try to match requests to article naming conventions
Tule-hog (talk) 01:40, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
Yeah, that looks good. I also try to remove the spammier entries that are unlikely to ever become articles. C F A 💬 21:45, 21 October 2024 (UTC)

You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, YSL Records racketeering trial), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed.
