Replaceable fair use File:Darkoo Official Number 1 Award.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Darkoo Official Number 1 Award.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 21:17, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:TurnTable charts.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:TurnTable charts.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 21:19, 4 January 2022 (UTC)

Please stop adding unsourced charts to articles
Hi. It seems you're creating articles for Nigerian and other pan-African songs that are successful. While that is an area that needs work on Wikipedia, it's not acceptable to continue adding unsourced charts. Please source all charts you add to articles or they will be removed, even if you created the article with the charts on it. If you can't find sources for them, don't include them on Wikipedia. Thank you. Ss112 13:39, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

Greenman (talk) 20:54, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Possible COI?
Please can you expressly explain to me if you have any COI with Titi Kuti? If there isn’t please can you indicate so? Celestina007 (talk) 02:51, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
- Celestina007, Titi is the new face on Netflix and was a trending topic in September 2021. When fans called him the hidden son of Fela Kuti. Titi Kuti had a successful year in 2021 with King Of Boys, which got him more attention. The article is been created for these just reasons, with no connection.--Afí-afeti (talk) 10:36, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, I’m going ahead to remove the COI tag, however none of what you have mentioned above is a yardstick for ascertaining notability, but as earlier mentioned as you have stated there is no COI I’m removing the tag. Celestina007 (talk) 13:56, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
The article Titi Kuti has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails to satisfy the requirements of WP:NACTOR.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dan arndt (talk) 09:34, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Alté
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Alté, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CUPIDICAE💕 13:58, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Afrobeats into Alté. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 02:21, 25 March 2022 (UTC)

For help click here, all reliable source needed can be found on that tab. I am not convinced his eligible as you claim, but he has an article written by a notable author, Richardine Bartee, who is a member of the Recording Academy. Discography wikitables, TurnTable and ref names
Hello. Please do not put more than 10 chart columns in a discography wikitable, as you did at CKay, which you then moved to CKay discography. It's accepted the limit is 10. Certifications should also not be listed for countries without charts in those tables per discography standard.
Also, when you type TurnTable on an article, please italicise it. You have italicised it in very few instances on articles you've started, and as it is a publication it should be in italics. If you're linking to articles with TurnTable in the title, please pipe the link to italicise the word.
Finally, please add ref names for charts that you have added in the "Charts" section on song articles. It appears you add citations for charts earlier on in the article but do not add ref names in the actual "Charts" section. They need to be sourced in this section as well, so you should use ref names in this section for the relevant citations used earlier on in the article. Thanks. Ss112 09:57, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hello Ss112, if certification is 14, does that mean chart columns automatically becomes 14?, or it remains as 10?.
- Thanks, for sharing some light on this and I have made one correction, by italicising TurnTable on Watawi. Afí-afeti (talk) 10:17, 4 July 2022 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Emperor Geezy.jpeg
Thanks for uploading File:Emperor Geezy.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Kizz Daniel & Emperor Geezy.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Kizz Daniel & Emperor Geezy.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Final warning
Hello, I'm Serge, an Admin here on Wikipedia. I'm a bit concerned about how many warnings you've accumulated about the same sorts of things.
- Until you understand our Image Use Policy, please do not upload any more images to Wikipedia. You need to slow down and learn our image policy if you're going to be working with images here.
- Please read and understand WP:PARAPHRASE. Your creation at this article is a plagiarism violation. You framed it as if you wrote those words, and you didn't. You ripped them straight from the source. You need write in your own words.
Both of these are serious concerns. If it happens any more, your account may be temporarily blocked from editing. Sergecross73 msg me 20:32, 26 July 2022 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Afí-afeti! Your additions to Draft:Diiche have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 20:04, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, Afí-afeti,
- You have numerous warnings about copyright violations on your User Talk page. Unless you stop taking content from other websites, you will be facing a block and it could be an indefinite one. It is not okay to "borrow" images or paragraphs from other sources, even if you cite where you have taken them from. There are legal implications for the Wikipedia project when there are copyright violations so they are taken very seriously.
- If you have questions about copyright, please bring them to the Teahouse where experienced editors can address them. Liz Read! Talk! 20:08, 23 October 2022 (UTC)

Ezenwa Chukwudi moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Ezenwa Chukwudi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 14:58, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Onel5969, the article has been edited and submitted for review. According to editors during the review "You can now create articles yourself without posting a request". I do not see the need to submit a draft for review, but since you requested, I have done that and left a comment also. Afí-afeti (talk) 16:03, 5 November 2022 (UTC)

- I do not have any connection with the subject Ezenwa Chukwudi, or subject company General Site Solutions Group. Neither was my contribution a paid editing. Here's a disclaimer to UPE/COI, as per all content written on the article is verifiable from a reliable source online. Afí-afeti (talk) 07:37, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Onel5969, looking at the log on Ezenwa Chukwudi, the article was moved to draft in 2021. I joined the encyclopedia in 2020, an account which is older than the first issue on the subject Ezenwa Chukwudi is a good point to checkout. I have written several good articles, contributed to at least more than one featured article. I believe you should put this into consideration. I understand the importance of declaring UPE/COI on Wikipedia, if involved in one. Afí-afeti (talk) 08:07, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

Review of some of the song-related articles you've created
Hi Afí-afeti, thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. While reviewing some of the articles you wrote, I noticed a few things. I don't think you should be in a haste to create song-related articles. Just because a song charts on Turntable or US/UK Afrobeats charts doesn't automatically means that it deserves a stand-alone article. In the "Love Don't Cost a Dime" article you created, you included reviews about the album and made the reviews appear to look like they are specificially talking about the song. Per WP:NSONG, "Coverage of a song in the context of an album review does not establish notability. If the only coverage of a song occurs in the context of reviews of the album on which it appears, that material should be contained in the album article and an independent article about the song should not be created." Some of the incorrect information puzzles me because I noticed that you contributed to other pages in a way that should have enabled you to detect the mistakes. I have addressed that and I am not the one who linked the Older Asika to the Young Asika. Afí-afeti (talk) 06:08, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
- We both know the festival was founded in 2019 (not in 2013, as is incorrectly written in Afro Nation’s Wikipedia page). Also, BBC wasn’t any sort of partner. Furthermore, in the follwing press articles you can see that SLE - Sociedade Lusa de Espectáculos co-founded the festival: link1 and link2 and in the following link you can even see a video where Obi Asika describes how the festival was founded, with Marco Azevedo, from SLE - Sociedade Lusa de Espectáculos (alongside Smade and the Mayor of Portimão): link3. Request reason:
The block was not necessary to prevent damage or disruption. I only used the copyright to understand the topic better, as I was about to go through it and rephrase it. Each and every song on the project has been discussed upfront. I want to work in line with the original wording after studying the article. I didn't publish the copyright on mainspace, but rather on a draft to rework on it. I plead the section be undone and a timeframe of 1h:30m be given to me to fix that section, after studying the original article while the copyright is on the section. Afí-afeti (talk) 12:51, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
It is not acceptable to publish copyright-violating content even in a draft. Yamla (talk) 13:20, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Addition to the Unblock
Diannaa: As stated above, I would also love to add this; as the "Composition" section of an EP or Album might be seen as a COI, if I am to overhype or write in favor of the tracks; the copyright is to solidify the original take of the project songs which was why it was used in the first place and I was about to rework on it, making sure the term used is not far from the original take of the songs on the projects. I believe with these few points of my, you understand me better.--Afí-afeti (talk) 13:13, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- Yamla: noted, would use my PC notepad while working on such section on a project. Thanks for your time, as this is clear.--Afí-afeti (talk) 13:24, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

You need to tell us what edits you will make instead; furthermore, as copyright violations potentially put Wikipedia in legal jeopardy, we must be convinced that you understand what copyright is, what Wikipedia's copyright is, and when and how copyrighted content may be used on Wikipedia. Please tell us this in your own words(see WP:COPYVIO for more information). 331dot (talk) 13:38, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

331dot: I fully understand what copyright is and how important it is to get a license from a media house if a copyright must be in use. When I said edit to be made, I was pointing at this draft Billion Dollar Baby, and Memory Card, which I made a copyright violation on the section titled Composition. I will keep writing in a NPOV. As i have seen this before WP:COPYVIO, and kept forgetting copyrights are not accepted on draft, so now I get it and hereby avert from such.--Afí-afeti (talk) 13:56, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- What happens here will be up to the next reviewer, but I would want more than "I understand' as my experience is that many people who say that then go back to doing the exact same thing wrong. 331dot (talk) 16:37, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

The violations have not just been in drafts; there's been instances in articles as well, and also many images that were copyvio. In order to lift the block, we need to be certain that you understand how copyright works on Wikipedia. Please respond to the following questions, explaining in your own words. Don't use a chatbot to help you prepare your responses; write your own answers.
- What is copyright?
- How is Wikipedia licenced?
- Why is copyrighted content not allowed on Wikipedia?
- Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content?
- How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future?
Your answers will enable us to establish whether or not you should be unblocked. — Diannaa (talk) 18:42, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- Copyright is simply defined as a trademarked property; that can also be shared in public space under permission granted by its publisher to reuse its material.
- Wikipedia is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, to re-share upon the original publication.
- Copyright content is not allowed on Wikipedia as the policy rebukes it, and advises editors to express them in their own words.
- During an inline citation in a context, without discrediting the publisher.
- By taking out time to read and study the original context before reusing them in my own words.
--Afí-afeti (talk) 01:58, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- @PhilKnight : You said my understanding is flawed, if my answer is confusing at any point, you should have pointed it out and asked for a clear explanation. The question required I answer in my own understanding and not in line with the encyclopedia:
- Copyright means registered trademark.
- Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia licensed as a non-profit organization under
Creative CommonsWikimedia Foundation, Inc. - Copyright content is not allowed if it's not licensed cause Wikipedia requires a free license for its users to be able to reuse or remix.
- Copyright can be used provided the correct attribution is given.
- By following its Copyright policy.
- This is clear.--Afí-afeti (talk) 08:38, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

- The creative commons already lay the foundation to reproduce or adjust text, which makes Wikipedia uses a free license; given users the freedom to make changes and improvements. Aside being free, permission must be granted to use.

Above I re-answered to the following question about Copyright Afí-afeti (talk) 08:41, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
Accept reason:
I am unblocking your account as you now have a basic understanding of how copyright applies to Wikipedia. Please write in your own words and don't copy anything from your sources, not even into drafts or sandboxes. I will be watching your edits. Welcome back. — Diannaa (talk) 11:45, 23 September 2023 (UTC)
- To reply to your ping, your answers show you do not understand copyright. Your corrections to your previous answers do not improve them. You need to take some time to read up about the subject. I recomend you take at least a week before posting another unblock request. PhilKnight (talk) 11:17, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

- I will be answering to the following shortly, I want to study WP:FAIRUSE, so I can get a better understanding. Afí-afeti (talk) 17:46, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- I have taken my time out to re-study WP:Copyright and seen I have been mistaken it for trademark. Afí-afeti (talk) 17:48, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- You clearly don't understand written English sufficiently to edit here. I strongly oppose any unblock of this account at this time. I won't be responding further. --Yamla (talk) 18:32, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

- Copyright is a type of intangible protection given to a creative work or idea.
- Wikipedia is licensed automatically through Berne Convention.
- Copyrighted content are not allowed on Wikipedia, as the policy doesn't support such and its likely to put Wikipedia in legal jeopardy.
- You can only use a copyright content, if a copyright license is granted or it's in a public domain, or the copyright may have expired.
- I intend to avoid violation, by not copying context into Wikipedia, but rather writing in my point of view of what the original implies.
- Afí-afeti (talk) 11:19, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
- The first three answers contain errors and/or misinterpretations of copyright and Creative Commons licensing. — Diannaa (talk) 13:23, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
- Copyright and Trademark are both intellectual properties, I got them mixed up in the first three answers, it was really misleading. Afí-afeti (talk) 15:35, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
- You say both creative works and ideas can be copyrighted. Can ideas be copyrighted?
- You say that "Wikipedia is licensed automatically through Berne Convention." That's not true; the Berne Convention is an international copyright agreement, not a license. What license applies to Wikipedia?
- What steps would you follow if you were to add public domain content to Wikipedia?
- — Diannaa (talk) 18:46, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
- The word 'intellectual' has to do with ideas, inventions, and creative expressions, all coming into play to form an intellectual property.
- Wikipedia text is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License 4.0.
- Copyright content can also be used based on the law that governors the country, like in Nigeria, any work published after 70 years, is automatically in the public domain. Also, it can be used if the author had declared his works to be in the public domain.
- Afí-afeti (talk) 02:52, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
- Steps include:
- Verifying the expiration of the copyright.
- If released under a permissive license, enabling the public to be able to reuse and modify content that is created by an author.
- If published without a copyright notice.

These answers are not very good.
- I asked "Can ideas be copyright", and instead of answering the question, you copied some copyright content from https://pitt.libguides.com/copyright/definitions. Violating our copyright policy while attempting to get unblocked does not instill any confidence whatosever that you understand copyright and how it applies to Wikipedia. And you still haven't answered the question: Can ideas be copyrighted?
- Your answer as to how Wikipedia is licensed is correct.
- Your answer to the public domain question is incomplete and partly incorrect. How would you indicate that the material was copied from somewhere instead of written by yourself? Also, you state that material without a copyright notice is in the public domain. That is incorrect. Under current copyright law, material without a copyright notice is still protected. No registration is required, and no copyright notice is required. So please always assume that all material you find online is copyright unless proven otherwise. — Diannaa (talk) 12:52, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
- That wasn't copied, the word 'intellectual', got to do with the brain which makes it mental, so when I say the word Idea, I mean creative ideas.
- Creative IDea can't be copyrighed till it becomes a finish product, making it a creative work. So, I will be taking back the statement
idea; got it all mixed up with the word mental. - Noted, all materials are copyrighted and does not require a public notice. Thanks' for clarifying this.

- How would you indicate in article space that the material was copied from somewhere instead of written by yourself? — Diannaa (talk) 22:04, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
- By indicating on the talk page with the template "Copied", just like I did on Iceberg Slim in section Feuds copied from M.I. Afí-afeti (talk) 03:09, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- That is incorrect. — Diannaa (talk) 12:42, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- Also on the edit summary I wrote a disclaimer with a backline to M.I page before publishing it on Iceberg Slim. You can verify from the article history.
- My answer to the question is to write a disclaimer on the edit summary, if it was copied from another Wikipedia article.
- If an article must be published in the authors words. Then it must be minimum and a use of a quotation mark, with the reference link inserted.
- At the end of the copied content, you are to insert an attribution that indicates it copied.
- Afí-afeti (talk) 14:09, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- Please give an example of how you would provide the required attribution for public domain content. — Diannaa (talk) 18:54, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
An example is inserting the free content attribution template, and making sure all necessary information is filled in correctly. Afí-afeti (talk) 10:01, 23 September 2023 (UTC)- A perfect example for a public domain content is inserting the Source attribution template.

Newspaper style
Hello Afí-afeti. I know we have met before, so, I'll cut to the chase. Your writing style lacks encyclopaedic tone sometimes. You usually use lines like: "In an interview with [Insert name] a multimedia journalist at [Insert newspaper], [Insert subject] states that he..." Or "[Insert subject] tells [Insert outlet] in an interview that..." You know. I have a feeling that you could go through your creations and also your future creation and you know, make some changes. You do a nice job here, happy editing! Best, Reading Beans (talk) 05:03, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Reading Beans, which writing tone is best in quoting interview’s?. Can you share more light on it. If possible share few links I can study. Afí-afeti (talk) 06:38, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:00, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
The article African Entertainment Awards (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
A disambiguation page is not required: both entries point to the same page (Speedy deletion previously declined in 2020).
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:32, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
