NPR (Aug)

I fulfill all requirements, and would like to review AfCs sometime. – The Sharpest Lives (💬✏️ℹ️) (ping me!) 22:56, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I wish to help with AfC and the current backlog. Mason7512 (talk) 21:29, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rename (August)

Hey, I renamed my user name from Grabup to GrabUp. 🙃 GrabUp - Talk 07:28, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Primefac: Hey, I assume you were a little busy, which is why you didn’t check the Afc requests this Sunday. Could you please update my name on the list by making the ‘U’ capital? Thanks. GrabUp - Talk 13:40, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Done. Primefac (talk) 14:08, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Username change from JalenFolf. JalenBarks (talk) 01:37, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Inactive (Aug)

I became inactive on Wikipedia last year and my AFC rights were, I presume, removed for inactivity, but I am back now are willing to get stuck in. Vast amounts of experience in article creation and patrolling new articles. SɱαɾƚყPαɳƚʂ22 (Ⓣⓐⓛⓚ) 20:02, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Done. Primefac (talk) 14:39, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

New (Aug)

I meet the minimum requirements and have 1000+ edits, and want to help reduce that huge backlog. I am a pending changes reviewer and have a history in anti-vandalism work, and want to expland my work into the new-pages section. I have participated in a few AFDs, but will participate in more. Thanks, Lordseriouspig 05:49, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, fails minimum requirements. Primefac (talk) 20:14, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have been editing articles in wikipedia for some years and came through several edits, uploads, reviews, deletions etc. So I would like to extend my support in woking on the AfC project. SRAppu 💬 08:33, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You have had almost 25% of your article creations deleted. While most of these are some of your "earlier" creations (i.e. 2020 and earlier), and I know that consensus has changed a lot even over the last four years (i.e. I am not basing this judgement only on that deletion rate), but the lack of participation at the related AFDs and CSDs makes me concerned. In other words I'm seeing some reasonable page creation but no indication of experience on the other side of the coin (i.e. deletion-related activity) to indicate you know what is good/bad when it comes to reviewing new content. Primefac (talk) 20:14, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Re-applying as I spent more time in the AfD as you guys said, I want to help with the backlog, Note, for some reason my AfD stats are not updating and some of my "Draftiy" votes are not counting. (might be because I mispelt it haha) Also even after getting this, I'll still monitor AfD, it's quite fun analyzing AfDs. Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 00:40, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Probation, which will be evaluated in 3-6 months. Being on probation only means that you can be removed from the list for any reason without prior discussion. Primefac (talk) 14:08, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! I was asking if I could be an AFC reviewer. Having this account in Wikipedia for almost three months, alongside some IP editing before that time, I believe that I should be experienced enough to have this right. If you're wondering, I'm really only requesting this to try to help alleviate the backlog. OhHaiMark (talk) 17:49, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello? OhHaiMark (talk) 15:04, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, fails minimum criteria. Primefac (talk) 14:08, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What do you exactly mean by that. As of 8 August, I've been here for three months, I've made over 1000 edits in total, and I've read all the reviewing instructions. OhHaiMark (talk) 15:07, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
1000 edits is not one of the criteria. Primefac (talk) 17:37, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The criteria are:
  • a Wikipedia account at least 90 days old. (mine's is over 3 months old)
  • a minimum of 500 undeleted edits to articles (this is not the same as total number of edits). (I have over 1000 undeleted edits, so I'm not sure why you said that edit count doesn't matter)
  • read and understood the reviewing instructions. (I did that)
  • a demonstrated understanding of the policies and guidelines mentioned in the reviewing instructions, including the various notability guidelines. (I did that)
  • evidence of understanding the deletion policy (experience in areas such as CSD/AfD/PROD or page curation, while not mandatory, are beneficial). (I did that)
  • a willingness and ability to respond in a timely manner to questions about their reviews. (I will do that)
In conclusion, I'm really not sure which criteria I failed at. OhHaiMark (talk) 21:45, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You have 486 undeleted edits to articles. Primefac (talk) 00:48, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. I assumed that undeleted edits merely meant edits to pages which weren't deleted. Thanks for clarifying. OhHaiMark (talk) 02:30, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How about now? OhHaiMark (talk) 23:30, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Probation, which will be evaluated in 3-6 months. Being on probation only means that you can be removed from the list for any reason without prior discussion. Primefac (talk) 20:04, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've been participating in AfD discussions (mostly around software) for a while now. I'd like to help clear out the 3-month backlog of draft articles. I have read the reviewing instructions and would like to invest my time in this endeavour. Aaron Liu (talk) 15:56, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Done. Primefac (talk) 14:08, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I wish to review Draft:2024 Bangladesh heatwave. Chidgk1 (talk) 17:20, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah I see someone else has just approved it Chidgk1 (talk) 17:43, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, but if you want to help out at the project feel free to apply in the future. Primefac (talk) 14:08, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Good afternoon. I would like to assist in clearing the backlogs. I believe that I know what it takes for an article to be published. Ktkvtsh (talk) 22:17, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done, as more experience will be necessary to demonstrate competence in the areas of AFD, notability, and sourcing. Primefac (talk) 14:08, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I would like to request admin rights for reviewing draft articles. The specific artic prompting this request is Draft:Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero and Energy but I would aim to assist in removing the backlog if there are other articles that come within my areas of interest. Grinner (talk) 10:39, 19 August 2024 (UTC) Grinner (talk) 10:39, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Done. Primefac (talk) 20:02, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have been editing Wikipedia for two decades, although a lot of my edits in the last 10 years have been anonymous and sporadic. I wish to contribute more often to my interest areas now, and would like to play a reviewer role, given my understanding of the Wikipedia ethos. Thanks! Saksham (talk) 17:08, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, fails minimum criteria. Primefac (talk) 20:02, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I am very keen to help with this backlog. I recently found an article that had been sitting on the list for two months- seems like the kind of thing I would like to give a go, see if I can't improve the backlog somewhat.
I have been editing for some time now, and I clearly meet the requirements. Spiralwidget (talk) 10:19, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Done. Primefac (talk) 20:02, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I am applying for permissions to review drafts to help lower the very large backlog. I often go to new pages feed and add tags and draft/delete articles that need it. I also have over 2,300 edits, so I'm quite experienced for this role. And I do meet the criteria for this. Thanks in advance. Azarctic (talk) 05:15, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Due to inactivity I have been removed from the list, could you please add me. Best! nirmal (talk) 07:47, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done per previous. Primefac (talk) 14:39, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to help new editors and believe this is one of the best ways to do it. Endersslay (talk) 23:55, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, you barely meet the numerical requirements and your AFD statistics are sub-par. Please get a bit more experience (but feel free to apply again in the future). Primefac (talk) 14:39, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

September

I would like to get some experience reviewing AFC and eventually NPP. I've created 20 articles myself and participated in AFD discussions as well as reviewed a couple of GAs. IntentionallyDense (talk) 05:27, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am getting back into wikipedia and I want to help with the AfC backlog. I used the tool back before you had to request the right to use it and have plenty of experience with reviewing new articles and AfD. cyberdog958Talk 22:00, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Note for reviewing admin: I checked their participation on the AfDs that have yet to close, looks good. -- asilvering (talk) 00:23, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
