I distinctly remember the time when the idea that the April 2nd tornado/derecho was historic in West Virginia being called “very absurd” (this was when it was still a draft) and months later the article was GA-listed. Editing comments to ping
[edit]Just noting that editing a comment to ping someone, as you did here, doesn't actually send the ping out. When attempting to ping someone, your edit must also be adding a signature. See Help:Fixing failed pings. Most times people just reply again to ping someone after failing to do so, re-sign their comments, or do the actual ping with an edit summary.
