To my surprise I have discovered that using the edit summary "removed opinion" triggers a filter which flags the edit as abusive. This seems to happen regardless of the content of the edit, eg [1]. Using such an edit summary clearly isn't any kind of abuse.

It looks like the filter thinks that British Academy Television Awards 2000 is the name of a school, and tripped on the phrase "Little Boy" in one of series titles. Thanks for the report. @Zzuuzz: The regex for this filter contains phrases that seem plausible in film/show/book titles. Searching through the last few thousand hits for titles containing "Award", most seem to be false positives. See this FP, plus 1 2 3 4 5 6 7. In some cases, the warning scared off the user, and they didn't save edit. 8 is not a FP, but was stopped by filter 384 anyway. So perhaps the filter should skip titles containing "Award" or at least titles containing both "Academy" and "Award". Suffusion of Yellow (talk) 20:25, 20 October 2018 (UTC)

Yes, it was the profanity in the title. I'd make the edit for you, but it looks like every entry in List of concept albums is sourced, so my edit would get reverted on sight. Do you have reliable soure calling Fuck Everyone and Run (F E A R) a "concept album"? All I could find were blogs and user-editable sites, but I didn't do a thorough search. Yes, it was my multi-year, multi-hundred reference effort to source every entry on that list, or remove ones where I couldn’t. This album certainly sounds like one, but I’m having a hard time finding a source that directly states it. I fully support its inclusion if the IP or anyone else can provide that. A lot of reviews refer to it as a concept album (as do all of us fans when discussing it, though I appreciate that's not a source). Not sure if reviews are considered acceptable sources though? Thake this one for example http://www.culturecatch.com/music/marillion-fear, which very clearly talks about FEAR as a concept album. (I would dispute whether many other albums on this list qualify though, great albums though they might be otherwise, but didn't want to get into any controversial removals :) )

Adding: It was the phrase "Dick and Dom" that tripped the filter. @MusikAnimal: Hmmm, should we add something to the "Dick Name" whitelist? I get 1413 hits for /Dick,? and [A-Z][a-z]/ and 1252 hits for /[A-Z][a-z]+,? and Dick/, though in the latter case it looks like many would have matched the existing whitelist. @MusikAnimal: How are we for performance? Maybe we should remove everything dick-related from 384, and have an entirely separate filter that just blocks disallows \bdick\b but not all the Dick Names. With its own log, we will be able to see if it's getting too many FPs, and set it to warn-only or tag-only if needed. As a bonus, 384 would then stop things like "Dick Name is a fucking idiot". The name of the store is "Dick's Sporting Goods", not "Dicks Sporting Goods". Punctuated correctly, the filter won't stop the edit. But, if you don't want your edit to get reverted, try to find a second source beyond the Netflix one you've already cited. People without Netflix accounts can't verify the claim, and even people with accounts may ask why you've singled out this statement from all the thousands of political statements he's made over the years. First, I was trying to update the page about Anna Delvey to include accurate information about this woman’s past and entire basis for being famous.

I tried to adding accurate information facts regarding her status as a criminal with multiple additional details regarding the specific crimes.

All information I included in the update is verifiable with the FBI and the State of New York. These records are online so it seems a bit odd for me to have this truthful page update removed more than once.

Not a false positive, filter is behaving as intended. We need to monitor changes being made to revision deletion templates to make sure that template parameters (the revision IDs) aren't being changed to stop the RevDel initially requested. It's essentially the RevDel equivalent of the CSD template being removed Edit Filter, and as with that filter, just triggering the it is no indication of any wrongdoing.
