Any plans on bringing the PS lists to FLC? Yashthepunisher (talk) 21:22, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
- @Yashthepunisher: PS has to go a long way I believe. Major concern that was raised during initial PB lists is that there are lot many red links. If the award is so significant, then all of its recipients were expected to have a wiki page. With more than 90 awards given per year, there are still many red links. This needs to be addressed which itself will take quite some time. Also, there are huge numbers of refusals, returns, and controversies related to PS especially. Dharma and I have been collecting such details for very long time but its still incomplete as most of the details for older lists is still unavailable. Without adding these two things to the lists, it would not be comprehensive. Once we can find these details, I guess FL would be a very easy task. - Vivvt (Talk) 07:46, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
Can you please fix the sorting related comments from my FLC? I can't really figure it out. Yashthepunisher (talk) 10:01, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna recipients
Hi Vi,
Just noticed that you removed my entries made with regard to the individual states that the recipients originate from. There is no reference to any information on any website including the official one from the Department of sports that supports your statement "Award is not bestowed on per state of origin" or your other statement "official statement does not mention any state or UT". Your statement might be true, at the point when the awards are bestowed on a National level, but this is in a literal sense.
The Ministry requires the involvement of the State / UT Government for the nominations. Please refer page 2, section 5.1 under nominations made by the State / UT Government : https://yas.nic.in/sites/default/files/Revised%20Scheme%20of%20Rajiv%20Gandhi%20Khel%20Ratna%20Scheme%20%28amended%20as%20on%207.9.2018%29%20_0.pdf
I must indicate that the additional data on the page provided by me was researched and included with the single intention of providing statistical information. For the sake of analysis and research, the page on Wikipedia is the only source of information. Any verified additional information that compliments the page must be welcomed.
There is no literally no information about the scheme, the award and the awardees on the official site from the Department of sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
Some States carry the information on their own websites
Manipur: http://manipurolympicassociation.org/pages/awardee.html
Kerala: http://www.kerala2015.com/gallery/kerala-sport-heros/khel-ratna-awardees/
Taking in to consideration all the references / facts submitted above, I request you to restore my entries.
With regards,

Your GA nomination of Raja Harishchandra
The article Raja Harishchandra you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Raja Harishchandra for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already been on the main page as an "In the news" or "Did you know" item, you can nominate it to appear in Did you know. Good work opening the PR. If you take the article to FAC, may I be listed as co-nominator? That way I can handle comments in your absence. --Kailash29792 (talk) 05:05, 13 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Kailash29792: PR itself will take 2 months or so. I am planning to be around when FAC opens. I will add your name in case my absence. - Vivvt (Talk) 04:33, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
- Hi! This is awesome news. Yes I will definitely read the article and provide feedback. I am extremely inactive (in WP).--Dwaipayan (talk) 01:35, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
DYK
Can you add a DYK tick to Template:Did you know nominations/Eunice Lea Kettering so that it can appear under the approved DYK list? I tried adding it myself, but the nomination didn't move to that section. SL93 (talk) 03:34, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
DYK for Raja Harishchandra
On 17 July 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Raja Harishchandra, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that as the film negatives used for the first Indian feature film were of limited spectral sensitivity, red color was avoided in sets, costumes, and make-up? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Raja Harishchandra. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Raja Harishchandra), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Peace Dove
Peace is a state of balance and understanding in yourself and between others, where respect is gained by the acceptance of differences, tolerance persists, conflicts are resolved through dialog, peoples rights are respected and their voices are heard, and everyone is at their highest point of serenity without social tension.
