Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Yujiulü Mugulü, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chaos. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:The Young Prussian/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. An article you recently created, Secret Ambition (Michael W. Smith song), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Non-free rationale for File:STRANGE AEONS cover art.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:STRANGE AEONS cover art.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 01:23, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Japanese blackened kawaii metal musical groups indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Orphaned non-free image File:STRANGE AEONS cover art.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:STRANGE AEONS cover art.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:56, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:! calligraphie.png. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. Notice

The file File:Lü gate.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused, replaceable by text, no obvious encyclopedic use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Edit warring Again

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Metallica. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. - FlightTime (open channel) 21:34, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please quit editwarring also stop making arguments in edit summaries, that's what talk pages are for. - FlightTime (open channel) 22:02, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • This is your final warning. You have been edit warring repeatedly at the article Metallica. You need to stop. I see you are discussing at the talk page; that is good. Continue to discuss and try to reach consensus. But in the meantime, do not keep inserting your own version into the article without agreement from other editors to do so. -- MelanieN (talk) 01:06, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Tomboy for deletion

[edit]
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Tomboy is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tomboy until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

But it is present in the Summertime Blues page "While not as widely played or recognized as The Who's version, it certainly is more distorted". The Young Prussian (talk) 01:15, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia cannot be used as a source because it fails WP:USERG. Anybody can edit Wikipedia, which means it's unreliable.
Specifically, that bit about being distorted was added by an IP editor who cited a YouTube video, which means the IP editor was listening to the song and analyzing it himself, violating WP:No original research. That's why Wikipedia cannot be trusted. Binksternet (talk) 02:03, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. This is not vandalism, and the symbol is considered one of several implicit symbols in the IPA chart.

That is a "freely improvised" chart that inspired the IPA to release the official chart under a CC license. Regardless, you cannot base your edits on other user-generated content (see WP:CIRCULAR). Nardog (talk) 00:17, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

For the nth time, please stop misrepresenting sources or passing them as if they verify your claim without checking them yourself. Nardog (talk) 13:56, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The UPSID proves the attestation of the symbol. The Young Prussian (talk) 14:22, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Of the symbol, yes. Now show us the evidence that it represents an alveolo-palatal approximant. Nardog (talk) 14:41, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I removed trifluorolithate from the fluoroanion list as it does not appear to be in use as a term. If you can find such an ion please add a reference to support it. Also trifluoroaluminate is an oxofluoroanion and perhaps is out of scope for the list. Maybe there should be a separate list of oxofluoroanions.
