Draft:Matty T Wall Submission
Okay, so I've looked everywhere, in the additions made in the article there have been not only reviews, but also indications of people from all over the world, in multiple languages blogging and writing about Matty T Wall, there are indications of his musical influences as well as interviews with the man as well. The fact that he is in tour around both Australia and North America, shows that he is covering a global range and audience, in addition to the numerous articles written about him. Could you either clarify for me what exactly you mean by his notability not being demonstrated, especially since his style of play is so different from most if not all modern day bands, or check again? Thanks in advance. DFuzes (talk) 21:00, 13 April 2017 (UTC)

Kuladhar
I'm not sure about all these surname pages you've been creating, but I noticed that Kuladhar claims to list people with the surname Kuladhar, even though both entries appear to be first names. Did you make a mistake, or are these from parts of India where they put the family name first? If the latter is the case then I would expect there to be indication of this on the respective articles.... — Smjg (talk) 13:19, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
Feedback Question
Hi, you recently reviewed the article I created and left a comment saying "Would highly benefit from all available major independent news and art reviews". Many of the major independent news and reviews are from older jewellery magazines relating to the invention of the quadrillion and invisible set. I have already listed some of them as sources however there are no urls since they haven't been digitally archived. Is this absolutely necessary for the approval, if so do you have any other suggestions. I believe the notability is somewhat represented in the view-able references as well as other wikilinks. However, some guidance would be much appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Finishedfirst (talk • contribs) 01:39, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
Hi, thank you for reviewing my draft. You wrote that my draft should wait since the book isn't released. I would like to say that articles like Annabelle: Creation is an upcoming film. Why has it been made into an article, and why can't mine be made into one? Plum3600 (talk) 20:19, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
I tried looking for more news for Draft:The Empty Grave but since the book hasn't been released there isn't much. Can you make my draft into an article and when there is more information on the book I can add it? It would mean a lot to me. Plum3600 (talk) 20:40, 16 April 2017 (UTC)

Hi there - I appreciate your feedback on the Dylan Collins page via my Talk page. I'm happy to improve the article to meet notability, but can you suggest the best method for doing that? I don't want to undo your reversion, but can you suggest a better way for me to undo and improve without looking like an edit war? I can do this all in one edit but undo felt a bit odd. Paul Fox (Singer)
Hi SwisterTwister,
Thanks for reviewing my article: Draft:Paul_Fox_(Singer) The reason I am trying to submit this page firstly is because if you Google 'Paul Fox Reggae' the first result is a Wikipedia page about Paul Fox of the Ruts who died a few years ago. We have the same name and this means that many people think I am dead! I am working in the same section of the reggae scene as a number of other people who have Wikipedia pages and I used their pages as a guideline to what is required as they were obviously approved. Below are a couple of examples of Wikipedia pages which either have the same level of links regarding 'notability' or less (and in some cases no working reference links at all). Please could you let me know if they were approved why my page has not been approved. Vibronics Zion_Train

Could I get you to take another look at the iRhythm Technologies page? I know you get a ton of requests every day, so no rush of course. I'm just so curious. (I checked my email like every hour this weekend, even in the middle of the night...) this was my first shot at an article as I'm trying to learn the process. I was trying to be patient... but I failed....
Let me start by saying, I 100% agree that my first draft was pretty much just a "business listing". I was having a hard time figuring out what to write about a company while making sure that it didn't sound like an advertisement. To remedy this, I went and read a number of articles featured by the Companies Wikiproject and that helped to break me out of my writer's block. :) I think that I've fleshed it out a lot better.
As for the "notability", I'll admit I was a little confused because I read in WP:Notability_(organizations_and_companies)#Publicly_traded_corporations that things like analyst reports were valid for establishing notability, which is where I was trying to get most of my references. They weren't announcements from iRhythm, but rather articles by analysts about iRhythm. Either way, I added some references from a couple books and peer-reviewed research that discuss iRhythm and their products. So, I think that I've got notability covered now. But I am curious to get your take on what does and doesn't establish notability for companies.
Thank you so much for your contributions, and thanks in advance for your feedback! VoodooEconomics (talk) 18:04, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
- Wikipedia talk:Notability (organizations and companies) might be interesting to you as you are considering my questions. It looks like there is a discussion about clarifying that each round of venture capitalism round is a "significant event". I know that this isn't approved policy yet, but I thought it worth noting. Looks like they were trying to get people to weigh in on the issue. Personally, I'm not sure that I agree that a round of VC is inherently significant, but coverage of multiple rounds from multiple sources does seem to me like it would be significant. And coverage by an independent analyst of a company going public does seem like it makes a company not just notable but noted. Just a thought as I'm exploring what makes companies "Notable". Thanks again for your time and helping me figure all of this out. I really appreciate your contributions! VoodooEconomics (talk) 18:59, 17 April 2017 (UTC)

Hi there,
I would like to know how I could write this article in order to remain legal and have the quality required. In order to write it, I have read several articles in Wikipedia about similar booking platforms. I think my article is aligned with the articles I reviewed.
It is not the first time I am trying to submit this draft, and I don't know how to make it even more neutral. Before you answer, I have already read several "how to write an article in Wikipedia" kind of articles.
Last but not least, it's true that the article is based on other interviews, press releases, notices and so on. I would like to know which are the differences between the references of the article of booking.com (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Booking.com) and my article. In fact, these two are aligned in so many ways, not only references - although it's true that DreamCheaper is not as big as booking.com. Same happens with momondo (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Momondo) and Trivago (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Trivago), and some other articles.
Could you please help me out here at writing this and get it published?
Best regards, Pedro

I'm new to creating a new submission, but I'm confused as to why the submission was declined. Elie Abadie is not a professor, he is one of the world's most prominent Sefardi rabbis who was the head rabbi for years at one of NYC's most prominent synagogues. He was recently ousted in a very public and bitter split with the synagogue's main funder. He is also on the boards of several large Sefardi organizations and received the highest civil decoration from the King of Spain. The sources I used included the Forward and New York Post, which are prominent publications. What else can I do to make it better? Smntstatus (talk) 21:05, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

My new submission - Sullivan's Slide Rule: Approximating the Pythagorean Theorem - has been rejected due to a lack of references to prove notability. I do agree that this is a fair first assessment. However, in this case, I think my method's connection to the Pythagorean Theorem - probably, the most famous equation in the world - could substitute for this shortfall. The method I've devised is broadly applicable and deceivingly simple - you can do it "in your Head" (no squares or square roots).
Would it be possible to ask a reviewer with a mathematical background to spend just 2 minutes reviewing my YouTube video - A Pythagorean Shortcut? It's 12 minutes long but a review of the first 2 minutes by someone familiar with the theorem would be enough to assess its relationship and the notability, I believe, that affords.

I'll say Thanks, in advance, because I truly appreciate your time and effort with this.

As to the evidence (and ‘professor test’) given in the wiki link you kindly sent me, I noticed that this says that “Academics/professors meeting any one of the following conditions, as substantiated through reliable sources, are notable”. I wrote in italic the evidence that could be used to substantiate the case.
1. The person's research has had a significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources. [NUMEROUS PUBLICATIONS ATTEST TO THIS. MOREOVER SEVERAL PUBLICATIONS ARE ALREADY CITED IN WIKIPEDIA ARTICLES, E.G. NM’s BOOK ON MACKENZIE CITED IN WIKIPEDIA ENTRY ON MACKENZIE; NM’s BOOK ON IASOS CITED IN WIKIPEDIA ENTRY ON IASOS, ETC.]
2. The person has received a highly prestigious academic award or honor at a national or international level. Received the Michael Ventris Memorial Award in 1991 (see page 14 of this document: https://www.sas.ac.uk/sites/default/files/files/Annual%20Reports/98-99_AnnualReport.pdf
3. The person is or has been an elected member of a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society or association (e.g., a National Academy of Sciences or the Royal Society) or a fellow of a major scholarly society which reserves fellow status as a highly selective honor (e.g., Fellow of the IEEE).[ 2] . NM was Elected Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London in 2003: see https://www.sal.org.uk/about-us/fellows-directory/M/page/11/
4. The person's academic work has made a significant impact in the area of higher education, affecting a substantial number of academic institutions. NM has taught at Oxford, Bradford, and Bristol universities, at the latter for over 18 years. Has also been Visiting Professor at University of Milan. Has also been Senior Research Fellow at Cincinnati, Istanbul and Istituto per gli studi Egeo-Anatolici (CNR, Rome). In 2014 was recipient of one of the Bristol University Teaching Awards. Evidence for this: her university webpages and http://www.bristol.ac.uk/classics/news/2014/94.html
5. The person holds or has held a named chair appointment or distinguished professor appointment at a major institution of higher education and research (or an equivalent position in countries where named chairs are uncommon). [not applicable]
6. The person has held a highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution or major academic society. [Director of Institute of Greece, Rome, and the Classical Tradition at the University of Bristol: see http://www.bristol.ac.uk/arts/research/collaborations/igrct/people/ ]
7. The person has had a substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity [NOT APPLICABLE].
8. The person is or has been the head or chief editor of a major, well-established academic journal in their subject area. [Former EDITOR OF ANNUAL OF THE BRITISH SCHOOL AT ATHENS 2007-2010, a journal rated of the highest international standard by the European Reference Index for the Humanities in three subjects: Classical Studies, History, and Archaeology]. See http://www.bsa.ac.uk/doc_store/Publications/PUB2009_7.pdf
9. The person is in a field of literature (e.g., writer or poet) or the fine arts (e.g., musician, composer, artist), and meets the standards for notability in that art, such asWP:CREATIVE or WP:MUSIC. [NOT APPLICABLE] --Barabakos13 (talk) 16:15, 22 April 2017 (UTC)

Ways to improve F. Zabriskie
Hi, I'm Graeme Bartlett. SwisterTwister, thanks for creating F. Zabriskie!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Since the person belongs to AAAS a reference from there is not independent. We need independent references to show notability
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:59, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
- The tag is not relevant because WP:PROF applies here, which is not exchangeable and the page is clear by "elected to a major society"; also, this person is from the last early-century and no other sourcing is available. SwisterTwister talk 00:13, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

You state that the article is simply a marketing stunt. You have accepted this: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/PaperCut which is an ordinary company completely without any uniqueness. Ubiquitech on the other hand can claim 3 areas of uniqueness (IBM mainframe compatibility, one-driver technology and secure public cloud technology). So, 1) if you have a mainframe computer and would like to have secure printing and never hear of Ubiquitech, then your are forced to buy Windows Server technology, 2) if you spend/waste hours and hours on numerous printer drivers you'll waste even more time and 3) if you would like to be more lean and utilize (cheap) public cloud technology, you will need to know of Ubiquitech.
Of course there is an overlap between the notability and Ubiquitech's commercial interest. But how can you avoid this? And are Google, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle etc. avoiding this?
Ubiquitech has some patents also unique and actually violated by nearly all competitors. Would it help to add these to the article?
You also write in your review: "sources are only announcements or notices". This please explain based on · Ref 1 is a general an independent article, setting the scene. · Refs no 2,4 and 5 are directed only to Ubiquitech and direct proof of text. · Ref 3, 6 are general relevant information. Thanks so much for your super quick review! impressive. Your comment is that I have not provided enough significant independent news, but my cited references are reviews, interviews and articles published by Stuff (the on-line website for the Dominion Post, New Zealands national newspaper), La Stampa (one of the most important national Italian newspapers akin to the NY Times, London Times, Sydney Morning Herald), the London Telegraph, international dance journals (Giornal della Danza and Dancelines), major on-line journal Teatro Critica and Radio New Zealand. The articles cited are all independent news items or interviews. When I compare the references to similar pages one in particular has only 5 citations with 3 being his employers website, a video on youtube and a single review.
I really would appreciate some guidance as to why these are not recognised as significant independent news items.
Thanks so much

Dear reviewers,
We are grateful for your comments and suggestions. We answer the following comment about the last edition about our article: Comment: Yes, I see but I will mention that (1) it would highly benefit from all additional news and (2) the Executive Team section must be removed as it's too guide-like. SwisterTwister talk 13:19, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
1) As a scientific organization, we do not have interactions with the press, so news in the traditional channels are rare. Instead, our channels for communication are through scientific journals as the ones we included as references. All these articles are submitted to internationally recognized journals that are independent of our organization and evaluated by recognized experts and editors in the field before their publication. We have included more than 20 references to our projects and editorials that were published in some of the most recognized international journals from the field (Plos Computational Biology, BMC Bioinformatics, F1000Research), along the last decade as a collective effort from many different leaders around the world, that have run the Student Council, many of them being recognized scientists nowadays.
2) We agree with the reviewer's comment and we have deleted the Executive Team section.

The draft: Valencia Ballroom was rejected because "Perhaps notable but needs all additional significant sourcing for enhancement." Does this mean I have to start all over again? Greetings. Thanks for reviewing my Frank Curzio post.
I am requesting a re-review because I simply confused. I'm mostly concerned with what links/ any specific sections do not fit the Wikipedia content criteria. I was told this post was simply a business, marketing incentivized post. However, I presented all of the information from credible links provided... along with no opinions whatsoever. Being the right hand man behind Jim Cramer (Host on the nationally televised and widely popular show - Mad Money), I figured Frank Curzio was credible enough to write about.
I understand that a few links may be un-credible, but can those be pointed out? From my understanding, the reviewer feel my entire post is from unreliable sources.

Thanks for reviewing. I'm a little confused as to why my sources aren't good enough or verifiable. I referenced VICE and Its Going Down, two reputable sources. The band also shares members with Iskra, a notable band in the underground punk scene. Storm of Sedition is also distributed by one of the most well known record labels in the underground punk scene, Profane Existence. So do I just need to add more references? As far as I can tell, they fit these guidelines:
"Musicians or ensembles (this category includes bands, singers, rappers, orchestras, DJs, musical theatre groups, instrumentalists, etc.) may be notable if they meet at least one of the following criteria.
Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself.[note 1] This criterion includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, books, magazine articles, online versions of print media, and television documentaries[note 2] except for the following: Any reprints of press releases, other publications where the musician or ensemble talks about themselves, and all advertising that mentions the musician or ensemble, including manufacturers' advertising.[note 3] Works consisting merely of trivial coverage, such as articles that simply report performance dates, release information or track listings, or the publications of contact and booking details in directories. Articles in a school or university newspaper (or similar), in most cases."--Wuthepo34 (talk) 01:26, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback - how do I proceed?
Greetings!! Thank you for taking the time to review my draft. I'm at a bit of a loss on how to proceed; let me explain :)
Other trailer music companies with published wikipedia pages also lack the kind of 3rd party, in depth references that you recommended for GRNLR. They seem to rely on announcements, youtube links, and social media pages. For example:
GRNLR is as legitimately established in the Trailer Music industry as any of these companies, and I believe that anyone researching the topic would have a valid interest in at least seeing some kind of page on wikipedia. What is it about these other pages that passed the review stage?
Interestingly, there don't seem to be a lot of magazine, book, or newspaper articles on trailer music companies, generally. But these sort of music production entities have sufficient notability to merit an existence on wikipedia; how is this seeming paradox to be resolved?
Anyhow, thanks for your input, I appreciate it. Cheers, and all the best!

Editing Help!
Hello there! (:
I'm having a little trouble organizing my drafts. The pages that are now in play are these:
- Draft:College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (2) -- Most up-to-date version.
Draft:College of Psychiatric and Neurologic PharmacistsEdit: on advice from Wiki-en-help, I've wiped the draft clean for deletion. Biochemistry&Love (talk) 20:59, 26 April 2017 (UTC)User:Biochemistry&Love/College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists-- Edit: per more advice from Wiki-en-help, I've also wiped this draft clean for deletion. You mentioned on the User space article that the article "May actually be notable but we need a better focus in all additional major independent news." Could you please explain to me what you mean by that? Biochemistry&Love (talk) 20:54, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
New page entitled - "European Mentoring and Coaching Council"
I have added many notability citations/references - could the page be moved from Draft status? Many thanks 185.62.85.43 (talk) 03:14, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
new page entitled Margaret Manion
I received your message sent 01:15, 15 April 2017 (UTC) that the article has been assessed as Start-Class with an improvement banner for the lead paragraph. I have now summarised Manion's positions and major publications in the lead. Would you please review the lead and let me know if it conforms. Thanks. Pergameno (talk) 05:55, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
new page entitled Draft:Taurob_tracker

Hi, review requested as a fair amount of additional data has shown up in terms of accuracy and extent of references and type of references - e.g. published articles that were not per-se publicity. Also some substantive pre-digital references.
Problem is I - Michael Messenger, was deleted for interfering and clash of interest, but in discussion with sarahj2107, who actually performed the deletion, seem to have agreed that the article can be re-written and resubmitted. Problem is A) can I do that legitimately and B) if so how, on what page and in what way as I cant cope with the edited text style, and dont want to get the wrong side of 'you lot' again? Can it be done in plain text and where will I find that? How do I resubmit it for checking? Are you able to provide a dummy's link - go to X > click on Y > edit etc...?

April 13 Review of Brain Chase Page
The page on Brain Chase that I made was rejected for not being notable. However, I referenced sources from New York times, Huffington Post, Fox News, and the Washington Times. These were not press releases, but articles written about the company. Any feedback on what kinds of sources would be considered 'notable' would be appreciated. Thanks! Thank you for your comment! I'm still not sure what is wrong with my sources though. Hi SwisterTwister
I am trying to translate the german article about a well-known person from Switzerland, Cristian Sulser, for the English Wikipedia page.
Unfortunately I don't know too much about writing articles in Wikipedia. What would be your suggestion to verify the article? What kind of references would be suitable and where would I have to put it?
Thank you very much for your help.

Shortcut for adding BLP info
Hallo, I've just stub-sorted several articles you've recently created such as Robert Henricks.
Do you know the {{L}} template? You can type {{subst:L|1943||Henricks, Robert}}
to create the birth category, death category or "Living people" (death date or "missing" goes in 2nd parameter) and DEFAULTSORT, all in one line of typing. I find it useful. I'd picked your stubs out to stub-sort as being ones which were currently filing wrongly in Category:Stubs. (eg Henricks under "R" for Robert). PamD 07:11, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

Draft of "European Mentoring and Coaching Council"
Hi,
My past experience of EMCC is that it does not try to get into the media. I do know that this association has no full-time staff nor budgets (e.g. to pay for PR/media coverage). However within Europe's Human Resources community, the EMCC is extremely significant and well known.
Skim reading the website references on this draft page, the following are already listed but maybe not as clearly stated as the following:
- The UK's Chartered Institute of Personnel Development ("CIPD") acknowledges the EMCC as one of the main bodies in the coaching and mentoring field (they mention in one reference: one of 4 bodies);
- Various cited Universities recognise the EMCC e.g. offer courses accredited by the EMCC, have internal coaching and mentoring trained staff (accredited by the EMCC) or follow the EMCC's code of ethics;
- Likewise for various organisations e.g. Flanders state government (Belgium) and the UK's National Health Service;
- Last but not least, the EMCC has been recognised by the European Union ("EU") has a lead body in the professionalisation of coaching and mentoring in the EU.
I do feel that this does reflect acceptable notability. Another main body in the field (e.g. jointly presented with the EMCC to the EU) is the International Coach Federation, which has its own Wikipedia page. Both bodies are very similar (ICF more US focused and EMCC more Europe focused).
I wonder, how I might help with the drafting of this page - so that you would be able to confirm it is no longer in draft form?
I am new to Wikipedia but a friend of mine is showing me how to edit pages and am happy to try this out on this particular page.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards

Dear SwisterTwister,
Last time, you have left a reivew to improve my article at [[6]] as "We would need a better focus in adding all additional major independent news, and not simply announcements or notices." After a week, I tried my best to find more references about Keep Victoria Beautiful on more sources of information. Please kindly note that Keep Victoria Beautiful is a non-profit-organisation that worked closely with the Australian government and city councils, most of existing references are from trusted government websites with .gov.au domain.
Also there was an article of https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Keep_Australia_Beautiful that was online long time ago. I have tried my best to make my new articles improved in quality with infromation from trusted government websites.
I would like to give you a ping. Hoping that you are online before I resubmit the article in a few hours. I really appriciate your help to make the Wikipedia stable. Recieving Message
Hello, I received the below message from you and was wondering if you could clarify a few things for me?
User talk:DRainwater From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising.
I am a current employee of Precor and we have been trying to establish an active Wikipedia page with our business information but every time we have tried our draft gets deleted or account is blocked. The reasonings that we are provided with are:
1. Using Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising. 2. Unambiguous advertising or promotion)
Is there a specific line or word that is triggering this? Any information/feedback you could provide would be great.
Thank you!

Thank you, Danielle (talk) 03:49, 3 May 2017 (UTC) DRainwater
- As I happen to be here, perhaps I can help. Your draft contained multiple sentences like " Precor sets the standard for quality, innovation, and performance in exercise equipment. " "and they have been supporting the natural movement of the human body ever since." . This is pure puffery, not appropriate outside advertising. The article contains numerous claims of "first" without any documentation--there has to be a specific third party published reference for every claim, not just a general link to you own web site--with a "history of innovation" page that also contains puffery. The draft use trademark symbols--the encyclopedia does not.
- From experience over many years, it is extremely difficult for an employee of the company to write a page about the company. The company is indeed well known, and probably there are good 3rd party sources that are usable for an article. I suggest you list it at Wikipedia:Requested articles. It's likely that someone interested in the subject will write a proper article. DGG ( talk ) 17:51, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

Second opinion on Draft:Hannah Grace
Hi, it's me again . I was wondering your opinion on Draft:Hannah Grace? I think that having references from the BBC and (lesser so) the daily star definitely make it interesting and, barring a copyvio check (which I can't do easily on mobile but will when I am at my PC) returning that it is in violation/plagiarized, I would be tempted to accept it personally. Second opinion on Draft:Subterfuge (game)
What do you think of Draft:Subterfuge (game)? I am thinking that it is possibly acceptable and the having Polygon (and to a lesser extent, Gamasutra) as a references does seem to indicate at least some notability to the game. Would like to see more on the level of Polygon as well though. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 02:30, 10 April 2017 (UTC)

Second opinion on Draft:Rosenbaum Contemporary
What is your opinion on Draft:Rosenbaum Contemporary? I am thinking it possibly notable but am unsure as to if Art of the Times is a reputable source or which sources might be. Your thoughts are welcome. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 22:08, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
- TheSandDoctor Yes, I wasn't sure about that one, but I think because of the article weight, there's enough to accept but, first additional significant sources would especially help. Cheers, SwisterTwister talk 22:29, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
- I left an AFC comment on it and marked it as no longer under review. I might work on it myself as the editor appears inactive. It depends what I can dig up (although I can't do it tonight as it is getting pretty late here). --TheSandDoctor (talk) 05:49, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
Second opinion request on Draft:Adam Armstrong
On my talk page the editor who created the draft has brought it to my attention that the essay-like wording has been addressed and I said that I would get a second reviewer to take a look at it and get their opinion on it. I was wondering what you think of Draft:Adam Armstrong? I also said in my response that more/additional noteworthy citations tend to be a good way to go. The draft is interesting and does appear to have some good references behind it, although only one is digital. Copyvio isn't loading the page for me so I am not sure on its results at this time. Second opinion request on Draft:Sheeba Ameer
What do you think of Draft:Sheeba Ameer? The user who created it has posted on my talk page asking for another opinion on the draft and any pointers to improve it in the event that it is not ready. Some of the citations/references do appear interesting but I am not sure if they are enough. Apparently for the books section they were unable to find any references either (see this section). What are your thoughts on it? --TheSandDoctor (talk) 06:32, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

Second opinion request on Draft:Gargoyle (band)
Hi there, I was wondering what you thought of Draft:Gargoyle (band)? It is translated by the draft creator from the Japanese Wikipedia. I am thinking that it is potentially good enough to accept however more independent/notable/reliable sources are typically always a good thing to add. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 03:56, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- TheSandDoctor Ah yes, it would need additional significant news since some of the sources are simply listed discographies or notices. Cheers, SwisterTwister talk 03:58, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm not requesting a re-review of this article, I would just like to know how I can improved the draft I've submitted to ensure it's approved next time. The reason for it being declined was a lack of sufficient and/or strong enough sources. I can certainly include other sources, I guess my only question is what requires a source and what doesn't. Furthermore, what qualifies as a legitimate source as far as Wikipedia is concerned. Thank you for your helpAlexhanno04 (talk) 18:42, 8 May 2017 (UTC)
01:55:43, 9 May 2017 review of submission by Kate.laolu.nyc
The person I created a page on is a notable person. His art is in several major museums, he has had a TED talk (not TED X), he was on Beyonce's Lemonade and is mentioned in her wikipedia page about it, has worked with over 7 international brands, he's had several articles about himself and his art in every major news source (some of them several times). When you google his first name he's the person who comes up for the first 4 pages. He's the most influential African artist currently alive at this moment. This is not a matter of opinion. This is why Yale, Harvard, Google, Facebook, Spotify, and Instagram have all had him come and speak to their employees. So I am asking for a you to reconsider your reasoning that this person is not notable. Thank you. Kate.laolu.nyc (talk) 01:55, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

I'm not sure I understand the review reason. Doesn't the fact that it's already on Wikipedia mean that notability
has already been established per WP:NOTE (de:WP:Relevanzkriterien)?
Also, you say, "Would need all additional news," but I included news references from the BBC, the Miami Herald, The Independent, and Hurriyet Daily News (a major Turkish source). There are others, like the Telegraph, the Daily Mail, and MSN, which I could add, but they mostly duplicate what's already there. The Telegraph, in particular, doesn't seem to have done separate reporting, stating "the BBC reports" in the body of their article, I don't consider the Daily Mail to be a very reputable source, and the MSN article is a straight write-through of the Independent's article. I could add sites like BoredPanda but I don't think that would contribute to the noteworthiness or gravitas of the article.
I've added another reference, NYMag.com. Please let me know what else you mean by "all additional news." I would note my article is already more complete than de:Tombili since the German WP article doesn't cover the theft and subsequent return of the statue. -- DavidConrad (talk) 01:20, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
- Do you plan on answering these questions? -- DavidConrad (talk) 03:00, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- David Conrad Weighing this, it would simply not be enough for a convincing notable article, wherever it was published. SwisterTwister talk 03:06, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

Hello Swister Twister,

Off-wiki harassment campaign possible
SwisterTwister, I'm messaging you because you're (or were) aware of some of the problems brought up at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Shawwal/Archive. Basically, members of a certain religious cult constantly create sock/meatpuppets to push their POV in an organized fashion (see here too). Well, recently I noticed this and then this, followed by a coverup here. Now, I'm not asking you to get involved because I know you're busy. What I am asking for, though, is an opinion, and please know that there's no pressure to answer. My question is: where should I take this? Organized campaigns of POV-pushing by this same cult has been going on for years, and numerous sock/meat accounts have been blocked along the way. In your experience, would you view AN as an appropriate avenue to bring this to the attention of admins? Or is there a more fitting avenue for this? MezzoMezzo (talk) 03:46, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- MezzoMezzo Although possible connections aside, there's simply not enough weight to put a serious case in here, especially given that not only has Samsparky been cleared as being a Shawwal sock, but even what's above is simply not blatant enough for an IP block or CU there since it's simply an apparent email suggestion and an apparent response to it. However, if there's worse later especially something violating policy, then that may be different. SwisterTwister talk 03:51, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

Re-submission of article
Hello @SwisterTwister,
I appreciate your inputs on my proposed article, Draft:Shiv_Darshan on April 05, 2017. In line with your expectation and recommendation, I have provided additional references for article re-submission. Although I respect your viewpoint, I wish to share my observations. Shiv Darshan has three films to his credit already. You may like to check Shiv Darshan at IMDb to verify. There are several actors who have made debut in a single film, yet they have a peer-reviewed Wikipedia page; I believe it's fair to give Shiv Darshan due consideration. Thanks a ton for reading; and hoping to receive your best support! Cheers. Amishah78 (talk) 17:31, 13 May 2017 (UTC)

Please slow down and check your work
Hi. I notice you've created many new stubs recently. Unfortunately, the reason I noticed this is because I've been fixing CS1 errors. Ramon Casadesus-Masanell, Paulo Lozano, Fan Ren, Hope Weiler, Kirk Schanze, Louis Burgio, and Karla Gower all have errors of one kind or another, from empty citations to non-existent categories to wikilinks which are red because the article name differs slightly. The first four I found in Category:Pages_with_empty_citations; the other three I found when I looked at 15 of the pages you created today.
You've been here long enough to know how things work. Maybe you plan to go back to each of those and fix them. Right now they're sitting in mainspace, being stubs, with errors. Please review your drafts and fix them before you move them, and take another look at the ones you've already created. Thanks. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 22:56, 14 May 2017 (UTC)

The article A. O. Zoss has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Thank you for your review of my draft. I have been through way too many drafts, re-writes, and deletions for this page. It has been shortened, condensed, and as many sources as are available have been cited. I have read all of the articles that have been linked. There are no other sources available on the internet, as it is a small company. There are no opinions reflected in the draft, only basic facts. I don't see how this can be changed any more. This latest draft is even a re-write from one of your moderators. Please advise.
Travis212, helping out here, the references for the article are mostly press releases. thisi s not adequate to show notability . You need multiple references providing substantial coverage from third-party independent reliable sources, not press releases or mere announcements. the only r=ractical thing to do is to wait until the firm is important enough that other people have written about it in that way. Hello! I noticed you denied a page submission for the voice actress "Morgan Berry" awhile back.[1] Would you mind looking it over? I believe this actress has proven herself to be of notability based on her online presence and official cast announcements from notable companies over the past few years. She has also proven to be of high demand in the convention scene.[2] In addition, Morgan has noteworthy roles in many popular anime, video game and movie titles associated with notable companies such as Funimation, Hi-Rez Studios, ScrewAttack and GalaxyTrail[3][4][5][6][7][8] I believe this should also be taken into consideration. She is in big enough titles to be of notability, despite her only being in the industry since 2015. At first I did not give evidence of the notability of the subject. I have now put some basic references, of Eva Picardi's roles in important Institutions and Societies, and of her being quoted or discussed by the most relevant philosophical authors of the XXI century (Davidson, Kripke and Dummett). I think this very short presentation is now more verified than the first version and gives a little more justice to one of the most notable contemporary Italian philosophers. I don't know whether it would be fundamental to put links to all the relevant institutions she was connected with, but, given the brevity of the presentation, I preferred not to do so. But I might if you think it needed. I would be very pleased if you could check the entry again. Besides, I find it incongruous that there is an entry for myself (made probably by a student of mine) and not an entry for her, who is much more well known in the international philosophical environment than myself! Thanks a lot, Carlo Penco
- Helping out here: for academics in the humanities who have published books, we do not list articles. Being merely cited by a notable person does not make someone notable. You can not claim things like "central role" without a specific reference that says this . She may be notable, under WP:PROF or WP:AUTHOR, but to show either you will need references to published reviews of her books in major journals. "she leaves a relevant number of scholars who studied with her" is not English. If you mean specifically notable people who have received their doctorate under her direction, say so. Adding stub templates to the articles you create
Again, I'll ask (since you removed this request when I wrote a rather polite, identical request about a week ago without explaination), add an appropriate stub template to any article that you create (or heck, even {{stub}} will do). You didn't do this at Louis Burgio, which was written after I requested you do this the first time. I expect better from an editor as experienced as yourself, in both receiving criticism (or, at least, responding to criticism, full stop) and in stub templating their own article. I'm surprised that you seem to be struggling with this. -- I dream of horses If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message (talk to me) (My edits) @ 00:32, 17 May 2017 (UTC)

AfC Review
Would you mind reviewing Draft:TigerSwan - I accidentally published it through AfC, I probably should have just published directly into the main space but now that it's in AfC, I don't want to approve my own article Seraphim System (talk) 06:01, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- Seraphim System Unfortunately the sources offered are simply not significant enough in major independent news (not simply announcements, notices or profiles) to establish notability. Also remember that like with others, notability cannot be inherited from the publication names alone. SwisterTwister talk 06:43, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- I don't think it is just WP:GNG since TigerSwan is a PMC - we don't have any specific guidelines for PMCs (maybe we should, since we we likely see more of them). We have traditional military units, and soldiers - but we don't have anything for whether a company that was responsible for major security operations in Iraq/Afghanistan and at the Sochi Olympics would be notable, who has been involved in significant contracts litigation (and won - the case I cited to law review in the article is quite important.) Needless to say, my position is that they certainly are. They are inherently notable, and I would say the sources are quite sufficient given the nature of the organization and it's involvement in a major war. Seraphim System (talk) 07:07, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- Also insofar as you are characterizing offering private security at the Olympics, major federal litigation that has been covered in Law Review, providing security for DAPL, providing security for State Department funded NGOs in active war zones, and Dalton Fury's published comment that their notable employees can demonstrate "how to shoot a gnat off a bull's ass at fifty yards" as "routine announcements" - I think that is debatable. I don't think you can say with certainty that this would not survive AfD, or that we may need to fill the gaps in our organization-specific notability policies for PMCs. As a PMC, they are obviously very notable and elite. Seraphim System (talk) 07:25, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

To that extent, I see you've created a lot of articles in the early portion of this month about a number of scientists and professors. As I look through them though, a lot of them are still just one sentence (and a lot of times, you were the only one to contribute to that sentence). Obviously I don't know these people (or you) and I'm not very involved with the whole Biographies of Living People aspect of Wikipedia, but I wanted to ask if you had a plan for these articles? Are these people all notable in some way? Are you going to continue working on all of these articles? It seems like it'd be a giant workload to bring all these articles out of stub status, and I do wonder if some of them even meet the notability criteria. I'm not trying to attack you or say what you're doing is wrong, I'm just curious to know what your thoughts are. JaykeBird (talk) 08:18, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- JaykeBird Hello, yes, there are plans to enlarge these such as adding their publications and similar to enhance this. Starting at least a basic page was simply an initial step. SwisterTwister talk 17:07, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- Alrighty. I just stumbled across your new articles and I was just like "whoa"! Lol. This is a huge amount of articles, though... I hope you don't put yourself in over your head with this! Also, it doesn't seem like you've been interacting with the AN discussion mentioned below. I'm not one to tell you to act one way or another, or anything like that, but I feel the people over there may appreciate at least something from you about this. JaykeBird (talk) 01:43, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
- Compare WP:AN#Mass creation of improperly referenced BLPs by User:SwisterTwister. Arguably most of them will likely be notable according to WP:NACADEMIC, but finding the independent sources NACADEMIC requires will likely be a challenge. Huon (talk) 10:05, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Huon: Okay, I didn't think I was the only one to stumble across this, but I didn't notice the section you made here alerting to the AN discussion, so that was why I went and asked. I'll probably look over what everyone else has been saying over there, and think about if I want to become involved with this or not. Thanks! JaykeBird (talk) 01:43, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
Procedural closures of AfDs
Just to let you know that I've started a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#Non-admin procedural closures of AfDs about the large number of Pakistani school AfD nominations, which you recently closed. Cordless Larry (talk) 11:10, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
- As mentioned there, Cordless Larry perhaps you've taken note of the current ANI about that nominator's mass 75 AfDs which is in fact unacceptable. Next, there was clear consensus to close as such at both there and the fact WP:Articles for deletion itself was not followed. Because everyone is actually aware of this at the current ANI. The nominations all the same basis which were in fact not a cause for deletion. Also shown there, the nominator is aware what happened and there wouldn't be any "flak" from them. SwisterTwister talk 16:39, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I have now, but I hadn't seen the AN/I thread when I posted the above. It might have been a good idea to link to the AN/I discussion in your closing rationale, I think. Cordless Larry (talk) 16:46, 27 May 2017 (UTC)

I have included news articles from cyclingnews.com and cyclingtips.com, both of which are major sports news outlets. Are these sufficiently important outlets? If so, I can include more references from different articles on these sites
07:50:59, 1 May 2017 review of submission by Dwmcduff
I realise that more references are required in this article, but as a near-beginner in Wikipedia editing I am not yet confident that the references I am currently providing are appropriate in terms of Wikipedia's style.
Regarding notability: the subject of the article, the Icelandic author Ólafur Gunnarsson, is an established and internationally known novelist whose work has been translated into several languages. There are already Wikipedia articles about him in Icelandic and German, but so far there is not an article about him written in English. I have added a section in paragraph 4 with links to reference works and other source material where Gunnarsson's work is cited. Please indicate if this is the kind of improvement that is required - if it is, then I can add some more references, but obviously do not want to do this if I am somehow going astray from the editorial line.

I wish to defend the need for an entry on 'Animal Reflectors'.
Who needs an entry 'animal reflectors':
1. Opticists making broad-band reflecting photonic crystals. Physicists are commendably interested in biological analogs of what they make. But they tend to study tissues that don't decay rapidly (beetle elytra, for example) and have rather missed out on animals like silvery fish and on cats' eyes, which do not keep well on the bench top.
2. Anybody wondering why and how fish have silvery sides.
3. Anybody wanting a better explanation of how eyeshine works in the eyeshine/tapetum lucidum entry.
Need for a new entry. I don't see how this information could be put conveniently in other entries. Animal reflectors all work on basically the same principle, whether they are fish scales, the fundus of the scallop eye, or tapeta lucida, and the mathematics was developed for the first two of these, and for some kinds of tapetum lucidum (in lower primates). The entry for fish scales is almost entirely zoological classification. The entry for tapetum lucidum hardly attempts to explain the optics (perhaps rightly, as there appears to be no full analysis of the optics of the cat tapetum). But the cat tapetum is of considerable interest to physicists constructing photonic crystals. There is also 'dielectric reflector', which relates to animal reflectors by the optical principles, but not by the materials. It would be silly to put animal reflectors in all these entries.
What would make sense is to have cross-references, so one can go: eyeshine > tapetum > animal reflectors. Or photonic crystal > animal reflectors > tapetum. Or dielectric reflector > animal reflectors> animal coloration. Or fish scales > animal reflectors. Or animal reflectors > fish scales.
Style Half the point of Wikipedia is that users improve entries. But they can only improve an entry if the entry exists.
I am impressed by the speed of the editors' replies.
Regards Jonathan Coles

Hello
This is not a re-review appeal. My writing on Swarnali Kanjilal was declined due to some valid reasons but she is a very popular lady in the city of Kolkata and all over West Bengal. I have found out some YouTube links from the respective authorized media channels. Will those links be acceptable as references? If you want I can show you some examples of those links.
Please look into the matter and any suggestion from you will be immensely helpful.

About the page Paul-Gilbert Langevin (verification of the informations)
Hello, the page about my father Paul-Gilbert Langevin has been added to the articles named something like "possible conflict of interest" because I wrote a page about somebody belonging to my relatives. Can the english wikipedia users verify it, check the informations, correct and clean the page, correct the sentences (my english is not very good), etc? In order to verify the informations, I advise you to check the links and the books about it. I hope that the page can be in order soon and the headbands suppressed when everything is okay. Kind regards, Paul-Eric.
Glosten Inc. draft updated
Hello, I have added any additional relevant news I could find for Glosten, Inc. Topics include the appointment of a new president, research and development in the areas of offshore wind and ballast water treatment, participation on a winning X prize team, and ferry design work. I hope this will be sufficient, but please do let me know if there are additional gaps to fill. A reminder, in the interest of full disclosure - I am a Glosten employee.

Greetings. The subject of the page was a pretty significant guitarist in the bay area, and for a short time in LA. Recommended by Janis Leibhart for an audition with Bob Seger's band (audition granted) Johnson was an well know to other celebrity guitarists like Danny Chauncey (38 special) and Brad Gillis (Night Ranger). Although certainly less famous, he's sure worth of a simple mention on Wikipedia for his amazing chops and voice. What do you require to validate this page please?

1) The reviewer said the submission needs "all additional major independent news including reviews." Right now it references 5 reviews. There are many more. Should they all be included? 2) What does the reviewer mean by "notability cannot be inherited"? Does it refer to Goldberg's association with William Burroughs? If so, isn't this a key part of Goldberg's biography? 3) Besides the content presented here, Goldberg has a number of other accomplishments, unrelated to his role as a writer about drugs and the brain. These include his experiences as a poet, independent publisher, and cultural affairs journalist. Some of that work has been documented in books and articles. Should the submission be expanded to include it?

Hey there! I've been editing the draft page for Patagonia CEO Rose Marcario, along with a few other people. While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. South Nashua (talk) 16:07, 2 June 2017 (UTC)

Kristina Pimenova
Thank you for reviewing my article on Russian child model Kristina Pimenova! Unfortunately, you rejected my submission because you said I did not adequately prove notability. I disagree for several reasons. She is a prominent model and actress who has starred in a full length feature film with a famous costar. She has also posed for many high profile fashion companies. She has 4 million Facebook followers and 1.8 million Instagram followers. Many people believe she is a supermodel, and likely to become even more famous soon. I addressed these points in the article, and included several reputable sources to verify this information. Also, she is already the subject of many other Wikipedia articles in other languages, including Russian and Spanish. I was surprised to find that she has not been the subject of an English language article as well. My article included a similar amount of detail as the Spanish article. I am happy to expand my article further if you believe it will be accepted in the future. Thank you! The bot flagged the talk page and included a link to a prior discussion where you voted to delete it, so I wanted to give you a heads up. Based on past experience, I think the sourcing and content are in line with Wikipedia guidelines. Should I also notify any others that voted to delete? Timtempleton (talk) 16:25, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
- Timtempleton Because when an article has been at AfD before, we want an assured chance it's substantially better and, currently writing the sources, it's simply not the case since they're only the company announcements and notices (something WP:CORP shows as unconvincing); take the Forbes for example, an employee Q&A and, while CNET is a "best of", it simply wouldn't be strong enough. Focusing in only the best available major independent news would help. I'll be watching the article for any changes made. My standards, like WP's, has largely changed since that AfD, and we're carefully selective what is considered sufficiently enough. SwisterTwister talk 16:42, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for looking and giving me your feedback. I'll keep looking for more info as you suggest. Hi again. Just wondering the reasons for decline - is it so that when someone is not willing to give interviews or be photographed as Mr. Nuikki is, it is impossible to have a wikipedia profile, which I think is the only
"way" he wanted to be found on internet?
I am askin as Mr. Nuikki has created some of the worlds largest services like tastingbook.com, which is the world´s largest wine information source with over 1.5 million visitors in every month, also founder of the world leading wine publications which have 9 different magazines, also founder of the BWW - world´s largest wine competition etc...publiched over 30 book in five lanquages, Editor in Chief of nine international magazines like world's only Champagne Magazine and world's only Wine Investing magazine, Indias Only official wine magazine, Germany's biggest wine magazine ewtc...he has also awarded with the highest Advertising awards like Kodak Prp-prize, Clio, Cresta, Epica - over 150 international awards and many other great things?
Just wondering why as many of his co-workers who work for him, in his projects, are in Wikipedia?
- Tuula38 Currently the specific concerns is, even considering the publication name or similar, the content weigh is simply not significant and we would need a better focus in only the best major independent news, not simply announcements or notices. Awards are actually not comparably convincing since they can either be industry-focused, similar, etc. SwisterTwister talk 19:22, 5 June 2017 (UTC)

Loom Systems - Submission declined
Hi, On March 29, 2017 you've declined the draft of Loom Systems due to insufficient amount of reliable references. I've added some new references that we're not a "not-yet established" company anymore :)
Can you please help me understand if it's OK now? if not, what's missing?
Thanks Dvirperetz (talk) 08:49, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- Dvirperetz Although you added sources, those are still only based on what the company either announced or said itself, whever published and it's simply not enough in notability; for example, industry awards or funding is still too trivial for us as it shows they still need support and, as for the awards, they're only trade-focused or similar. We've rarely accepted newly started companies is simply because it's nearly always too soon. SwisterTwister talk 15:55, 12 June 2017 (UTC)

Couple of things
Hi SwisterTwister
- Firstly I note that you have automatic archiving set up, but it is not catching nearly 200 older threads which are clogging up your talk page and making it slow to load. Would you mind doing a manual cleanup and getting it down to a manageable size?
- Secondly I'm sure that you are following the discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#Mass creation of improperly referenced BLPs by User:SwisterTwister and I appreciate it may be unpleasant and stressful to see the strength of feeling there. I understand if you prefer not to respond there, but would you please consider making a short statement on your talk page to say that take the concerns on board and how things will change going forward? I fear that in the absence of a conciliatory response some editing restriction will likely be imposed on you.

- Please could you respond to these when you have time? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:54, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

- MSGJ Yes, I'll see what I can archive today. SwisterTwister talk 15:32, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
- I don't see that you have made any effort to archive your talk, as it is still extremely long. Would you mind if I did a manual archive? And could you please respond to my second point as well? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:46, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- Yes you can but, about the second point, I had made a statement there and I don't see how I can answer the second point as I had commented there and I've improved a mass number of the relevant articles. SwisterTwister talk 17:02, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
I have archived your talk page - looks much tidier now! The problem is that users are not signing/dating their posts so the automatic archiving is not happening. I wonder why User:SineBot is not visiting this page because that would be useful. I must have missed your statement but will go check it now. Regards — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:01, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
Why have you redirected the page?
Hi SwisterTwister,
I could not understand why Netmagic Solutions page was redirected to its parent page, NTT, when Netmagic Solutions as a subsidiary merits a separate page. Please restore or let me know what kind of changes is required to comply with wiki policies.Pramuwi (talk) 09:35, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
- Pramuwi None of it satisfies our set policies and, actually, its information and sources were too promotional to separate what the company itself would advertise and what an independent uninvolved encyclopedia would publish instead. Focusing in only what genuinely independent coverage has said about the company, and not simply announcements or notices will help convince us. SwisterTwister talk 03:32, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
