Giggs' height
[edit]Curious about method used when converting Giggs' height (given in many sources as 1.79m) from metric to imperial (as in the WIkipedia article), to increase to 5'10"? 1.79m converts to 5'8 3/4". So what height is he really? 109.76.130.164 (talk) 19:45, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
Not sure where you get your figures from. The inch is officially defined as 25.4 mm. 1.79 m is 1790 mm = (1790/25.4) inches = 70.47".
So Ryan Giggs is 5'10.47" tall, which rounds to 5'10".

Beverley Road in Pendlebury
[edit]Giggs was brought up in Beverley Road, but that's in Pendlebury, not in Swinton. 205.239.40.3 (talk) 13:55, 1 January 2023 (UTC)

Edit request: record number of Premier League appearances
[edit]Current text reads Most Premier League appearances for a player, with 632 (since surpassed by Gareth Barry). His total has now been surpassed by a second player. The record could be removed, or the note could be amended to state that he held the record upon retirement. 82.42.117.77 (talk) 21:07, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
