Hospitalized for Wikistress!!!!!
I am suffering from wikiburnout and chronic Wikistress.

And real life is very much in the way these days.
I probably won't be able to log in as frequently and contribute as much as I would like. Messages left here probably won't get a quick response as before. Your patience would be very much appreciated.

Take care, everyone.
Happy editing.

Thank you for pointing out the problem before this nom gets on MainPage, SL93. No need to apologise. I've responded on the nom template. --PFHLai (talk) 09:00, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what is going on with the creator. Tigerboy1966 said on his talk page that the review is way more than a DYK review should be. WP:V is a core policy for any article and especially articles on the main page. I'm not sure why he is comparing it to a Good Article review. I did not ask for more content or even a huge rehash of the content that is in the article. All that I asked was for everything to be referenced. SL93 (talk) 01:35, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like everything is resolved with this nom now, which is good. I hope everyone involved is happy. --PFHLai (talk) 07:37, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orlady (talk) 08:04, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I was hoping you'd say that. Time for some fresh eyes. Please review for DYK. I've done some work to it in response to criticism by Gamaliel. Since the principal negative subject matter regarding the Tea Party (their views on race-related issues, and some very insensitive signage displayed at some of their rallies) has been already dealt with in detail in another article, Perceptions of the Tea Party movement, this one may seem a little fluffy but I'm at a loss on how to remedy that while maintaining NPOV and sticking to what the reliable sources say. regards ... Phoenix and Winslow (talk) 02:57, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

So I can see that Template:Did you know nominations/Agenda of the Tea Party movement is already quite well attended to, thus I shall defer to reviewers already there. The merge request and the NPOV tag need to be resolved first, before the DYK nom can proceed. No rush. DYK can wait... good luck. Happy editing. DYK Special Occasion hook

[edit]

PFHLai, I wanted to remind you that there's a special occasion hook for November 5, and it probably ought to go in Prep 3, which I see you've just started building. (I can't promote it myself, since I gave final approval to it.) Please take a look when you get the chance. Many thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 02:35, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

St Jude Storm DYK

[edit]

Thanks for promoting St Jude storm, however the nomination suggested that the flying tiles one was better instead of the one you have promoted. Plus I don't think that one was reviewed. Could you change the hook to the ALT1 in the nomination? The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 09:20, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just to clarify it's this hook that i'd like it changed to: ... that a man was killed in the St Jude storm by flying tiles? The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 09:26, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Clarence Ussher

[edit]

Please is there any way we can have Clarence Ussher placed in the picture (first) slot of the DYK. It was wrongfully removed awhile ago when it was in the prep in the picture slot. I would really really appreciate it. Proudbolsahye (talk) 05:09, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. I can move it to Prep 2. --PFHLai (talk) 05:13, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Can we apply this again please. I would greatly greatly appreciate it. Proudbolsahye (talk) 03:08, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, too late now. It's already on MainPage. --PFHLai (talk) 11:01, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I have another one (Template:Did_you_know_nominations/Vardges_Sureniants). If it's possible to place it in the first slot, I'd greatly appreciate it. If not, thanks anyways! Proudbolsahye (talk) 06:25, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, Proudbolsahye, I have reservation about using the suggested picture on MainPage. It's rather difficult to see what is in the picture when it is displayed at the usual dimensions of 100x100px. --PFHLai (talk) 06:43, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Without the picture, the hook won't be appealing at all. I think I'm going to change the hook and picture then... Proudbolsahye (talk) 06:59, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, just let me know if its first slot material. I'll have the hooked checked out and approved ASAP. Proudbolsahye (talk) 07:06, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, this might be a better picture? Proudbolsahye (talk) 07:39, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think Sureniants' portrait is fine. Desecrated Shrine is still a bit small, but maybe okay if it is displayed at 120x120px instead. BTW, you may want to sign your posts on nom templates. --PFHLai (talk) 07:51, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your opinion. Yes I'll go ahead and sign. I'm going with the current hook and picture. Proudbolsahye (talk) 07:53, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome, Proudbolsahye. Happy editing. Good luck! --PFHLai (talk) 08:00, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Template:Did_you_know_nominations/Vardges_Sureniants looks good and it is now stocked with a new photo. Would be really appreciative if you're willing to put the hook up with the picture in the prep. If not, thanks for all your valuable advice. Keep on editing! Proudbolsahye (talk) 18:14, 21 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

DYK Queue 3

[edit]

Can you take a look at Queue 3 of DYK and potentially do some reshuffling? I may be overreacting but I don't think it looks right for a hook for a sex site being set between two Christian based hooks. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 21:27, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, well... The hook for the Chinese sex site will not look right anywhere. (I did not promote it from T:TDYK.) I'm hoping the American carol and the Swedish church would help neutralize/detoxify things a bit on my screen. At least this way I feel less bad about leaving the sex site on queue. --PFHLai (talk) 21:40, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe, but there is an agreement with me in the discussion on WT:DYK that if it is left where it is, it may have potential to cause offence on one of the holy days of the Christian calendar (Epiphany). The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 21:44, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Valley View DYK

[edit]

PFHLai, I know it would be a bit of an inconvenience, but would it be possible to pull Template:Did you know nominations/Valley View (Romney, West Virginia) from the Prep 2 queue and return it to the nominations page? I'm still working to locate an image for the hook, and forgot to note this on the article's nomination template. If this is possible, I'd greatly appreciate it, and I apologize for the trouble. I'll cross post this request with other DYK administrators. Thanks again! -- Caponer (talk) 10:49, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi! Can you please move Did you know nominations/Nasreddin Murat-Khan to prep2, in the 19 January 0800–1600 (UTC) slot? It will be more visible in Pakistan (UTC+5) then. Thanks in advance. —ШαмıQ @ 18:29, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. --PFHLai (talk) 19:11, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey PFHLai! Could I trouble you to move Template:Did you know nominations/Black-breasted Thrush to another queue so that the Featured Picture will appear? I don't mind having promotion postponed until later, but given that all previous stubs with FPs that became DYKs were placed as the lead hook, it would be nice if this one could too. Cheers! —Bloom6132 (talk) 08:40, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, Bloom6132, I have a problem with letting the same pic appears on MainPage twice within only a few weeks of time. The suggested pic is on Template:POTD/2014-02-05. Instead of moving this nom to another queue, I shall undo the promotion. --PFHLai (talk) 12:27, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've started a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Did you know#FPs on DYK about this issue. --PFHLai (talk) 13:10, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

POTD

[edit]

I noticed you created the POTD protected template for both today and tomorrow so was hoping you might have some idea about what the root cause of the error reported at Talk:Main Page#Errors in today.27s or tomorrow.27s featured picture is. The immediate cause is texttitle=Crew of STS-107 as when it appears on the main page all of the texttitle is put inside a link so we then have a link within a link which breaks things. I fixed the template for today and have fixed the template for tomorrow so it won't cause the problem. However this line is obviously created automatically from somewhere when you create the template so will occur again the day after tomorrow unless someone with more knowledge of the templates fixes the root cause. Of course if you create the template for the day after tomorrow as well the simplest way may be for you just to remove the brackets yourself after creating it. Dpmuk (talk) 16:40, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, Dpmuk, I have no clue where the problem came from. I don't see the offending brackets in the day after tomorrow's POTD template, so it seems that there's nothing to remove. The POTD templates for use on MainPage were generated from Wikipedia:Picture of the day/February 2014. You may want to take this up with Crisco 1492, the admin who takes care of POTD these days. Hope this helps. --PFHLai (talk) 17:34, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like User:‎Crisco 1492 played with the brackets on that one just after he created it so he has obviously become aware of the problem somehow. Oh well, looks like everything is fixed now and the people that should know about the problem now do know about it so doesn't seem like there's anything left to do. Thanks. Dpmuk (talk) 22:00, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I am about 99% sure that the issue was including brackets in the texttitle field, which (as the name suggests) is supposed to be nothing but text. I didn't see how it looked before you instituted the changes, so I'm not sure if I'm correct. It's never happened like this before. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:10, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

IWD sets

[edit]

I started preparation of four IWD sets, and have now completed three of them. I would like to ask you to help me look at them, and rebalance them if necessary. If you feel like it, you can complete the last one. I left out Elly Yunara because I think it can be the lead article for a later set. I am not so sure about set timings, but I suspect these can start going into the prep areas once you're done. Regards, -- Ohc ¡digame! 07:16, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request for DYK to be moved to a new queue to allow for picture

[edit]

I'd really appreciate it if you could move my DYK nomination that you moved to prep area 2 (Template:Did_you_know_nominations/Nick_Dupree) to a new prep area to allow for the picture to be included. Thanks! Newyorkadam (talk) 20:20, 15 March 2014 (UTC)Newyorkadam[reply]

IMO, the Dupree article is too short for the top spot, which is usually saved for more richly developed articles. What I can do is to un-promote the DYK nom. Maybe another set builder won't care about article size and may be willing to pick this article for the picture slot. --PFHLai (talk) 20:27, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
PFHLai, in case you didn't know, all hooks removed from preps or queues need to be logged in Wikipedia:Did you know/Removed. You'll want to add this one. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 00:12, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Layout changes of Wikipedia:Community portal/Opentask

[edit]

Hi, PFHLai. The template on Wikipedia:Community portal/Opentask says that layout changes should have consensus. There is no discussion on the talk page however about the changes you've been introducing. Was there any discussion. At a minimum, could you explain the rational on the talk page? Jason Quinn (talk) 02:29, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Jason Quinn. Layout changes? The template is still a 3X3 grid, with the same dimensions for the longest time. What layout changes? I have to guess that you are referring to OR and UPDATE swapping spots on the template. I never thought anyone would care. And i didn't think such a swap would be considered a change in the layout. If you want to know, I was just trying to put the easier tasks, even suitable for newbies, at the top. It just makes more sense to me this way as the template is used as part of a welcome-message. Nothing special. Please feel free to copy this explanation to Wikipedia talk:Community portal/Opentask, though I'm pretty much the only human working on this template, so I doubt anyone else would read it. Thank you for asking. Cheers! --PFHLai (talk) 04:26, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Health content

[edit]

Remember that when adding medical content please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a build in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Jytdog (talk) 18:33, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey PFHLai - you don't seem to edit health content much... please do see WP:MEDMOS and WP:MEDRS - you keep adding content about what the drug is good for, in the section on MoA, and basing that content on primary sources instead of secondary sources per MEDRS. Please stop doing that. I can explain more if you like. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 18:35, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

DYK reviews...

[edit]

Hi there. Thanks for your input at Template:Did you know nominations/American Crane Corporation.

I have two DYKs that are waiting for review, Template:Did you know nominations/Golem Arcana and Template:Did you know nominations/Long War (mod). The first of those was nominated on 6 October. Is it normal for a nomination to wait for two weeks for a review? If not, is there any recourse available to me?

Thanks, The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 03:19, 22 October 2015 (UTC) P.S.: I also asked SSTflyer this question.[reply]

Hello, The Squirrel Conspiracy. Patience, my friend, patience. Reviewers will come. I can see at least 10 older noms sitting on T:TDYK. If you're anxious, you may want to put in a request on WT:DYK. Or you can start reviewing all those older unreviewed noms. You can 'bank' the review credits for your future noms. Once you have reviewed the other old noms, other reviewers would have fewer choices but your noms to review. I hope this helps. Happy editing and reviewing. Cheers! --PFHLai (talk) 03:32, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. While I have your attention, can I get your thoughts on Long War (mod)? When I was building the article one of the sources gave a shout-out to the reddit /r/xcom community, so I went over there and told them about the article. A couple of people there told me that it was likely to get deleted. I thought it would meet the notability criteria since it was the primary subject of a half-dozen articles, four of which are from major video game media outlets, as well as a bunch of mentions in relation to XCOM 2 having modding support. I will say though that I've been a bit worried since reading those reddit replies. What are your thoughts? The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 04:11, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I must confess that I am not a gamer and really unfamiliar with video games. Your article seems very well referenced and more than legit. Thank you for your wikicontributions. If you're concerned, please be encouraged to check with Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games. I hope this helps. Cheers! --PFHLai (talk) 04:44, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. I'm not sure how DYK works, but the one you've just "promoted" contain inaccurate information. I have already suggested an alternative wording, here. Could you advise on what to do next? Wiqi(55) 10:02, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Wiqi55. I thought I fixed it already by adding the word 'partly'. I disagree that both need to be mentioned. Please feel free to bring this up at WT:DYK. Sorry that I am not that available today. I should have more time on Saturday. --PFHLai (talk) 03:56, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war warning

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Induced pluripotent stem cell ‎. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jytdog (talk) 10:51, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Jytdog, please note that the {{uw-ew}} template is better used when you find other wikipedians edit-warring with each other and you post it on the usertalkpage of the belligerents. It is not a tool to stop other wikipedians from editing an article when you find the materials being added to that article disagreeable. I typed in something you didn't like, you reverted my edit. I put in a first attempt to address your concern, and you reverted my edit again. Is this collaborative editing? You are the one "repeatedly undoing other users' edits" as mentioned in the template above. Who is the edit-warrior here? Please be more constructive and less disruptive, Jytdog. If you want additional citations to review articles, you can simply ask. It's coming, anyway. I'm not done there. Do you really have to use a warning template to tell me to be particularly aware of any Wikipedia policies? Aren't you a bit trigger-happy with these warning templates? I find your "warning" unnecessary, disheartening and irksome. Sigh... --PFHLai (talk) 23:55, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Extended confirmed protection

[edit]

Hello, PFHLai. This message is intended to notify administrators of important changes to the protection policy.

Extended confirmed protection (also known as "30/500 protection") is a new level of page protection that only allows edits from accounts at least 30 days old and with 500 edits. The automatically assigned "extended confirmed" user right was created for this purpose. The protection level was created following this community discussion with the primary intention of enforcing various arbitration remedies that prohibited editors under the "30 days/500 edits" threshold to edit certain topic areas.

In July and August 2016, a request for comment established consensus for community use of the new protection level. Administrators are authorized to apply extended confirmed protection to combat any form of disruption (e.g. vandalism, sock puppetry, edit warring, etc.) on any topic, subject to the following conditions:

  • Extended confirmed protection may only be used in cases where semi-protection has proven ineffective. It should not be used as a first resort.
  • A bot will post a notification at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard of each use. MusikBot currently does this by updating a report, which is transcluded onto the noticeboard.

Please review the protection policy carefully before using this new level of protection on pages. Thank you.
This message was sent to the administrators' mass message list. To opt-out of future messages, please remove yourself from the list. 17:49, 23 September 2016 (UTC)

Two-Factor Authentication now available for admins

[edit]

Hello,

Please note that TOTP based two-factor authentication is now available for all administrators. In light of the recent compromised accounts, you are encouraged to add this additional layer of security to your account. It may be enabled on your preferences page in the "User profile" tab under the "Basic information" section. For basic instructions on how to enable two-factor authentication, please see the developing help page for additional information. Important: Be sure to record the two-factor authentication key and the single use keys. If you lose your two factor authentication and do not have the keys, it's possible that your account will not be recoverable. Furthermore, you are encouraged to utilize a unique password and two-factor authentication for the email account associated with your Wikimedia account. This measure will assist in safeguarding your account from malicious password resets. Comments, questions, and concerns may be directed to the thread on the administrators' noticeboard. A new user right for New Page Patrollers

[edit]

Hi PFHLai.

A new user group, New Page Reviewer, has been created in a move to greatly improve the standard of new page patrolling. The user right can be granted by any admin at PERM. It is highly recommended that admins look beyond the simple numerical threshold and satisfy themselves that the candidates have the required skills of communication and an advanced knowledge of notability and deletion. Admins are automatically included in this user right.

It is anticipated that this user right will significantly reduce the work load of admins who patrol the performance of the patrollers. However, due to the complexity of the rollout, some rights may have been accorded that may later need to be withdrawn, so some help will still be needed to some extent when discovering wrongly applied deletion tags or inappropriate pages that escape the attention of less experienced reviewers, and above all, hasty and bitey tagging for maintenance. User warnings are available here but very often a friendly custom message works best.

If you have any questions about this user right, don't hesitate to join us at WT:NPR. (Sent to all admins).MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:48, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Guideline and policy news

Technical news

  • A recent query shows that only 16% of administrators on the English Wikipedia have enabled two-factor authentication. If you haven't already enabled it please consider doing so.
  • Cookie blocks should be deployed to the English Wikipedia soon. This will extend the current autoblock system by setting a cookie for each block, which will then autoblock the user after they switch accounts under a new IP.
  • A bot will now automatically place a protection template on protected pages when admins forget to do so.

Guideline and policy news

  • Following a discussion on the backlog of unpatrolled files, consensus was found to create a new user right for autopatrolling file uploads. Implementation progress can be tracked on Phabricator.
  • The BLPPROD grandfather clause, which stated that unreferenced biographies of living persons were only eligible for proposed deletion if they were created after March 18, 2010, has been removed following an RfC.
  • An RfC has closed with consensus to allow proposed deletion of files. The implementation process is ongoing.
  • After an unsuccessful proposal to automatically grant IP block exemption, consensus was found to relax the criteria for granting the user right from needing it to wanting it.

Technical news

  • After a recent RfC, moved pages will soon be featured in a queue similar to Special:NewPagesFeed and require patrolling. Moves by administrators, page movers, and autopatrolled editors will be automatically marked as patrolled.
  • Cookie blocks have been deployed. This extends the current autoblock system by setting a cookie for each block, which will then autoblock the user if they switch accounts, even under a new IP.

  • A newly revamped database report can help identify users who may be eligible to be autopatrolled.
  • A potentially compromised account from 2001–2002 attempted to request resysop. Please practice appropriate account security by using a unique password for Wikipedia, and consider enabling two-factor authentication. Currently around 17% of admins have enabled 2FA, up from 16% in February 2017.
  • Did you know: On 29 June 2017, there were 1,261 administrators on the English Wikipedia – the exact number of administrators as there were ten years ago on 29 June 2007. Since that time, the English Wikipedia has grown from 1.85 million articles to over 5.43 million.

Technical news

  • You will now get a notification when someone tries to log in to your account and fails. If they try from a device that has logged into your account before, you will be notified after five failed attempts. You can also set in your preferences to get an email when someone logs in to your account from a new device or IP address, which may be encouraged for admins and accounts with sensitive permissions.
  • Syntax highlighting is now available as a beta feature (more info). This may assist administrators and template editors when dealing with intricate syntax of high-risk templates and system messages.
  • In your notification preferences, you can now block specific users from pinging you. This functionality will soon be available for Special:EmailUser as well.

Arbitration

  • Applications for CheckUser and Oversight are being accepted by the Arbitration Committee until September 12. Community discussion of the candidates will begin on September 18.

Invitation to Admin confidence survey

[edit]

Hello,

Beginning in September 2017, the Wikimedia Foundation Anti-harassment tool team will be conducting a survey to gauge how well tools, training, and information exists to assist English Wikipedia administrators in recognizing and mitigating things like sockpuppetry, vandalism, and harassment.

The survey should only take 5 minutes, and your individual response will not be made public. This survey will be integral for our team to determine how to better support administrators.

To take the survey sign up here and we will send you a link to the form.

We really appreciate your input!

Please let us know if you wish to opt-out of all massmessage mailings from the Anti-harassment tools team.

Guideline and policy news

  • Following a request for comment, a new section has been added to the username policy which disallows usernames containing emoji, emoticons or otherwise "decorative" usernames, and usernames that use any non-language symbols. Administrators should discuss issues related to these types of usernames before blocking.

Miscellaneous

  • Over the last few months, several users have reported backlogs that require administrator attention at WP:ANI, with the most common backlogs showing up on WP:SPI, WP:AIV and WP:RFPP. It is requested that all administrators take some time during this month to help clear backlogs wherever possible. It should be noted that AIV reports are not always valid; however, they still need to be cleared, which may include needing to remind users on what qualifies as vandalism.
  • The Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative is conducting a survey for English Wikipedia contributors on their experience and satisfaction level with Administrator’s Noticeboard/Incidents. This survey will be integral to gathering information about how this noticeboard works (i.e. which problems it deals with well and which problems it struggles with). If you would like to take this survey, please sign up on this page, and a link for the survey will be emailed to you via Special:EmailUser.

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, PFHLai. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
