Wikipedia and copyright
Hello NeverTry4Me! Your additions to Padmapani Acharya have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 14:51, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
- Diannaa Thank you for correcting the things. NeverTry4Me - TT Page 03:40, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

Hi, the edit summary you gave in this edit [1] states that you have a COI. I think it's likely you've misunderstood how WP:COI works - it's not a conflict of interest to vote on an AfD when you have taken part in the editing of the article - but if you do have a conflict of interest, you should probably stop editing this article entirely and make a COI declaration as described at WP:DISCLOSE. -- asilvering (talk) 17:55, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Asilvering I have declared COI (as per my mentor's assistance) in my user page. I have deleted my comments in AfD per rules so that it doesn't violate COI rules. Regards- NeverTry4Me - TT Page 18:09, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- @NeverTry4Me Thank you! You're welcome to keep looking for sources though, if you like - if you find anything else, you could ping me about it so I can add it, or you could drop it on the Talk page of the article? I think an argument can probably be made for keep, but I'd like to get some more sources before making the attempt on the AfD. -- asilvering (talk) 18:17, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
Are you heading to be re-blocked?
Your re-nomination of Gyanendra Pratap Singh at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gyanendra Pratap Singh (2nd nomination) less than the recommended 2 months after a no-consensus close as per Wikipedia:Renominating for deletion seems to be a failure of WP:BEFORE criteria B. 5 and is an indicator you do not have the WP:COMPETENCY to carry out an AfD nomination correctly and without causing trouble to the community. I suggest you withdraw that nomination. Thankyou. Djm-leighpark (talk) 10:51, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Djm-leighpark nope dear friend. I have assessed the source table and found not SIGCOV. But, I am yet unable to add the table due to restriction/malfunction of the script. Kindly consider this as a Help to newbies like me who are having issues with restricted edits. Pardon me wherever I'm wrong. Rehards - NeverTry4Me - TT Page 10:59, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- I'm unsure what happened during Paromita Das AfD nomination, but this manual edit by you to the AfD page was misleading in that the AfD wasn't actually added to either India delsort or Author delsort as claimed in your edit. I have done so now. Hemantha (talk) 16:40, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- Given Hemantha's statement above this interfereing edit of the AfD shows a complete lack of competency or trying to be disruptive. I'd ask Deepfriedokra to review the unblock and especially due to the copyright infringements mentioned above. Thankyou. Djm-leighpark (talk) 00:22, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Dear Djm-leighpark, why so quick and angry? As Hemantha said, "he AfD page was misleading in that the AfD wasn't actually added to either India delsort or Author delsort as claimed in your edit" - I am afraid that if I do not remove with the manual revert, it would create a trouble for me. Hence I did. You, as a senior editor, should guide and help us. Please help, not block. --NeverTry4Me - TT Page 00:28, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- As soon as someone calls me "friend" online that immediately indicates that person is not to be trusted. You can't stay out of trouble. If you think I'm attacking you unjustly raise an ANI. Timewaster! Djm-leighpark (talk) 00:37, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- I won't go to ANI as I have no such issue with you or @Hemantha. Regards - NeverTry4Me - TT Page 00:39, 16 March 2022 (UTC)

- I think you need to not nominate any pages for deletion. Though I see you did stop before you got to badgering. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 00:51, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- If I failed to address copyrighted material before, please do not add content copyrighted elsewhere at all. You are perilously close to being blocked, but your response to concerns has vastly improved. So please just be more careful going forward. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 00:54, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Deepfriedokra, with due apology, I would say that I am actually working as per SuggestBot, which I promised. I'm adding citations, correcting minor mistakes, e.t.c. small things. I have landed in AfD/CSD from the SuggestBot's suggestion. I have found this Kamal Kumar Tanti is BIO of the user, hence I did. Next, the AfD of Paromita Das was also in my SuggestBot's suggestions, which I was trying to find SIGCOV and failed to find. I apologize for my mistakes, in good faith. I'll be careful about copyright things. Regards- NeverTry4Me - TT Page 01:05, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Did we have a mentor for you? --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:03, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- @ Deepfriedokra I would be delighted if I get you as my mentor. I was about to ask you for that. Please be my mentor and my guide. That would be a real pleasure. :) NeverTry4Me - TT Page 01:06, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- No, you have done better taking in feedback from @Hemantha: and @Djm-leighpark: and I think you need to not nominate articles for deletion. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:09, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- I don't mentor. I'm not sharp enough. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:10, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oh, no CSD's either. You need to focus on building the encylopedia. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:11, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- No, you have done better taking in feedback from @Hemantha: and @Djm-leighpark: and I think you need to not nominate articles for deletion. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:09, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- As of now, for not less than 6 months, I won't nominate articles for deletion. I promise that. About mentor, in my Special:Homepage Valereee is my mentor. I haven't asked anything yet as it will go to a mentor's talk page, which might lead to flooded with my questions. Sorry for that. NeverTry4Me - TT Page 01:14, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, no CSD either. I'll be in citing and correcting spelling, grammars to increase my capacity. Regards- --NeverTry4Me - TT Page 01:16, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
You say you landed in the AfD of Paromita Das via suggestbot. Suggestbot suggests articles to improve, not nominate for deletion. Hopefully, that clears this up. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 05:44, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
Facepalm Please. No WP:ProD's either. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 06:01, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Yes. Sorry. :( I'll avoid WP:ProD too, as of now, for not less than six month. Am I allowed to vote in AfC, if I find rational and 'can-be-improved'? - NeverTry4Me - TT Page 06:34, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, NeverTry4Me, I've been having IRL things. I do not know what you mean when you say I haven't asked anything yet as it will go to a mentor's talk page, which might lead to flooded with my questions.
- Suggestbot is suggesting you help improve an article. If someone else has tagged it for something -- in the case of Paromita Das, for being a stub -- assume that person knew what they were doing. We tag an article as a stub because we believe it can be expanded.
- Right now, you do not have enough experience to assume that, because you can't find sigcov, the article needs to be nominated for deletion. So yes, please stop nominating anything for deletion, whether that's AfD, PROD, or CSD. (And really at this point you should simply be reading those discussions, as you need to develop an understanding of what's going on there before you start participating in them.)
- I'm not sure what you mean by vote in AfC, if I find rational and 'can-be-improved'? Can you clarify?
- I am not readily available right now, but WP:Teahouse is a good place to ask questions. valereee (talk) 16:00, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- FWIW, NT4M, a really helpful way for very new editors to help using Suggestbot (and learn more about WP in the process) is to de-orphan articles. See WP:ORPHAN. There are multiple orphans in the recent Suggestbot lists you've received. valereee (talk) 16:08, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Valereee I am using Suggestbot and Special:Homepage suggestions to cite and fix things. About I'm not sure what you mean by vote in AfC, if I find rational and 'can-be-improved'? Can you clarify?, in some Suggestbot too old articles I have noticed they have been nominated for AfD but I find reasons to KEEP and expand with citations. I meant that. Vice-versa, some articles are created with wrong and fake citations and information, in that case after trying to cite, I wanted CSD or AfD. NeverTry4Me - TT Page 01:14, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Valereee:
May I edit as per Suggestbot's suggestion, if someone of those lists is personally known to me? Few of such suggestion are personally known to me. I am bit confused here. Please assist me. - NeverTry4Me - TT Page 13:45, 19 March 2022 (UTC)- It's fine if you work on improving an article someone else has nominated for deletion. That can actually be a good way for you to learn how more experienced editors assess notability, which is the number one question at AfD.
- If suggestbot suggests an article that has wrong and fake citations and you aren't able to fix it, ask at WP:Teahouse if someone else can take a look at it as a possible candidate for deletion. valereee (talk) 15:49, 20 March 2022 (UTC)

Per your WP:REFUND request. I have left the mainspace title SALTed until the article is approved by an experienced AFC reviewer. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page and wait for an uninvolved editor to assess it.
