Thanks so much for The Working Man's Barnstar gift. It's nice to know my humble contributions are appreciated. Keep up the good work yourself! -- Satori Son 00:18, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Redirect
Hmm, did not expect a page so new to be already moved. Usually all pages on suspected copyright violations are too new for that. Tnx for the fix. Garion96 (talk) 16:12, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for the barnstar
It comes at a funny moment, just when I am turning more towards working with people than with templates. But I still find it a good relaxation in between. Tell the truth, one reason why I'm working less on templates is that there are many templates I can't edit, such as {{tl}}, which means that I have to create forks like {{tltt|the same with a description}}
. Is there anything that could be done about that? — Sebastian 21:40, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Appropriate language for Talk pages?
Luke, could you check out this exchange http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Talk:Raul_Hilberg (first section, Zundel trials)? Just see if the language is appropriate or too provocative. Sorry for bothering you with small stuff, probably it won't happen again when I get more familiar with wikipedia etiquette. I just want to avoid anything similar to flame wars around here.
Thanks.--Ninarosa 22:45, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

I think it's time!
- I will try to catch with you on IRC in the near future. I personally think you have the self-depreciatory attitude that is required in an admin, and the fact that you have turned this possible nomination down shows your true character. I fully respect your decision and if I can aid you in any way over the coming months please don't hesitate to give me a shout. I think you would make a stirling admin, and it's what the project needs. Khukri - 02:32, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Stupid Invaders.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Stupid Invaders.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Help
Hey Lucas, Would you mind giving me a hand with the new overview page please? I'm busy as hell at the moment, and if I keep doing this bit by bit I'm never going to get ir done. If you can just add the obvious redirects, and note any that should become single issue templates, or any that need TfD'ing that would be great. Thanks a bunch. Khukri - 12:35, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- oh my God that's what I call a huuuge list... I'll give you a hand for sure :) (I am very busy at the moment too so I don't promise that will go fast) -- lucasbfr talk 17:20, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
openlearn
hi,
i've just put up the openlearn wiki entry and had a message that it is a copyright infringement. I just wanted to let you know that we own the copyright to the material. I work for the Open University and used some of our material to create the openlearn wiki entry.
Hope this is all OK! BEst, Stuart —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jinky32 (talk • contribs) 12:23, 12 February 2007 (UTC). --Jinky32 12:29, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Location Maps
On the WikiProject Countries talk page, you had either explictly declared a general interest in the project, or had participated at a discussion that appears related to Location Maps for European countries.
New maps had been created by David Liuzzo, and are available for the countries of the European continent, and for countries of the European Union exist in two versions. From November 16, 2006 till January 31, 2007, a poll had tried to find a consensus for usage of 'old' or of which and where 'new' version maps. At its closing, 25 people had spoken in favor of either of the two presented usages of new versions but neither version had reached a consensus (12 and 13), and 18 had preferred old maps.
As this outcome cannot justify reverting of new maps that had become used for some countries, seconds before February 5, 2007 a survey started that will be closed at February 20, 2007 23:59:59. It should establish whether the new style maps may be applied as soon as some might become available for countries outside the European continent (or such to depend on future discussions), and also which new version should be applied for which countries.
Please note that since January 1, 2007 all new maps became updated by David Liuzzo (including a world locator, enlarged cut-out for small countries) and as of February 4, 2007 the restricted licence that had jeopardized their availability on Wikimedia Commons, became more free. The subsections on the talk page that had shown David Liuzzo's original maps, now show his most recent design.
Please read the discussion (also in other sections α, β, γ, δ, ε, ζ, η, θ) and in particular the arguments offered by the forementioned poll, while realizing some comments to have been made prior to updating the maps, and all prior to modifying the licences, before carefully reading the presentation of the currently open survey. You are invited to only then finally make up your mind and vote for only one option.
There mustnot be 'oppose' votes; if none of the options would be appreciated, you could vote for the option you might with some effort find least difficult to live with - rather like elections only allowing to vote for one of several candidates. Obviously, you are most welcome to leave a brief argumentation with your vote. Kind regards. — SomeHuman 7 Feb2007 20:22 (UTC)
What...?
During my edit a remark I did not intend was placed in the joost article. Don't know how!?! The remark was there in an earlier edit... I intended to edit the link to orkut. If I'm right about orkut please removed the link. If I'm wrong please explane the value of the link... I do not see the purpose of this link (other than advertisement for a not related product). I await your input on orkut. Thanks in advance. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.173.106.75 (talk • contribs).

List of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip episodes
Not sure where to reply. I changed the two images because B12 wasn't appearing and Christmas I thought was too dark to be seen on some monitors. I have no emotional attachment to the versions I supplied. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Simonwright (talk • contribs) 11:39, 15 February 2007 (UTC).
Regarding Rasmus Tenbergen
I got the permission to write used the materialfrom www.sammondano.org: Rasmus Tenbergen till mikael
visa detaljer 10:50 (8 timmar sedan) Dear Mikael,
that is a great idea to write a wikipedia article on the WPE (and an honor that you want to write one about me). You have of course the permission to use anything you want from the websites I contributed to (including Sammondano). If there is doubt you can also use everything from my other websites:

Thanks again and best wishes,

I've now expanded this article and made its assertion of notability clearer. I wasn't the original author and had never heard of him before the page came up for AfD, but anyone who had four separate articles on him in the UK press automatically passes WP:BIO, as it constitutes multiple non-trivial coverage in independent sources. So are you now satisfied with the state of the article, or do you still believe it should be deleted? Walton monarchist89 15:08, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

I believe the infromation is correct, even though I don'y have any web or book references.
I know this information is true due to myself being a student at Exeter College, where I have met various lecturers who taught Matt Bellamy whilst he was at Exeter College, there are also some of his original piano compositions that he wrote whilst taking a Music course here, available to view.
