Speedy deletion declined: Ranjan Roy Daniel

Hello Gtwfan52. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Ranjan Roy Daniel, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 10:25, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

Fairview Alpha...

As you know I have dedicated a bit of my focus on the WV county list. I did however catch the person at Fairview AGAIn trying to make this a city.....dedicated, arent they?Coal town guy (talk) 16:45, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

UPDATE: they are copying the GNIS detail page and not giving it a ref. I did, although technically, it should be a cite.....I also provided time zone. Its not GREAT yes, but it is more accurateCoal town guy (talk) 18:51, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
They blocked the troublesome guy again, third time, this time for a week. I figured this crossroad would interest you! You are doing great on your list BTW. there is an unclear sentence fragment in the second paragraph...I'd have fixed it, but as I said, it is pretty unclear what you are trying to say. Keep up the good work. I would love to see you get your gold star!Gtwfan52 (talk) 22:46, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

slow down

The removal on a BLPPRODan "unreferenced BLP" basis you made at Bed Bath & Beyond was not done to improve the encyclopedia, since you were well aware of multiple sources for the information based on your involvement in the talk page conversation atTalk:Paramus High School.  You need to slow done.  Unscintillating (talk) 09:22, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

I didn't PROD anything. All but one of the sources he put up at Paramus were crap. And sorry if you disagree, but when you post info, especially about a living person, you need to reference it. If I want your advice I will ask for it. Bye.Gtwfan52 (talk) 19:50, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
Something is amiss! How does the same editor get "randomly selected" by the RFC bot 172 times??? I have never been selected. Not once. Will the bot take a bribe? ```Buster Seven Talk 23:34, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Love it. Text transferred from Category:Lenzie Academy

Gtwfan52, You removed my edit on Lenzie Academy stating that I did not provide a summary, I did in fact provide a summary which was "There seems to be a disgruntled pupil or ex-pupil of the school that has decided to place all the negative points about the school on this page. This is a completely biased view of the school as the many positive points etc. have not been mentioned."

As there was not enough space on the summary field I will continue.

The text that was removed was a completely biased view of the school as many of the positive points, awards, medals and successes that the school has achieved over the last couple of years is not mentioned. I will be compiling a list of this, verifying the source of the information and will update the page with the relevant content.

Please re-instate my edit. Thanks very much, Neil — Preceding unsigned comment added by Neilmstevenson (talkcontribs)

Hello, Gtwfan52. Letting you know I removed the entire thread about the winery in Hemet. The contributor is the director of marketing for the winery and the post had nothing but advertising details for his endeavor. Your comments were got taken out as well. I figured this was the best way to avert the advert, and leaving your comments there, without context, would not make sense. Please don't look at this as a refactoring of your comments. Thanks. – S. Vandalism for freelancer.com

You are doing vandalism for freelancers. This post clearly shows how freelancer hire people to do vandalism on wikipedia

http://getahindu.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/freelancercom-privacy-policy-and.html

Freelancers Terms now clearly prohibit any exchange of contact information in between contractor and employer. They also say that you should use their message board, where they prohibit posting any contact information. Including your phone number. Which clearly shows that their staff is reading all the messages. Why should we discuss our ideas and strategy in front of freelancer staff?? read their 8.1 and 8.2 section in their terms and condition and can you please revert your edition?? Also stop vandalizing wiki for money.

8.2 Email Users agree not to post their e-mail address on the site, except in the "e-mail" field of the signup form, or when asked by Freelancer.com. You may use the project message board and inbox private messaging on site to communicate. This does not only apply to e-mail addresses, but to all methods of communication, including phone, ICQ, AIM, MSN Messenger, GTalk and Yahoo.

8.3 Providing contact information You are prohibited from making direct contact with another User, unless it's for a project you (a Freelancer) have been picked for, or you (an Employer) have picked a Freelancer for. This includes giving out your e-mail address, ICQ number, phone number, or any other method of contact outside of this site. Freelancer.com provides you with message boards, which should be sufficient for pre-project planning. The only exception to this is on "Fulltime" projects. If a project has the "Fulltime" graphic on it, that means the Employer has paid a flat fee in advance, and you ARE allowed to provide contact information in the message board.

http://www.freelancer.com/page.php?p=info/terms

(in fact personally they asked me to post my strategies in their message board and deleted all contact information)

And please tell me why did you deleted history also?? so that I can not revert with reference

  1. Please sign your edits. It's a common Internet courtesy.
  2. As a point of information, you should post at the bottom of a User talk page, not at the top.
  3. The history is not deleted. It is easily available to all editors.
  4. Your post is poorly written and hard to understand.
  5. It makes controversial statements of fact that MUST be verifiable to and by our reader.
  6. Editor Gtwfan is merely pointing out the status of your post. He is not an advisary; he is a collaborator. Your post cannot be included because it lacks a reference. Provide a reference, do a little re-writing and try again. ```Buster Seven Talk 22:08, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

If you are not sure, you should have left it as it is or you must have checked before deleting. See the 8.1 and 8.2 Condition of their terms service here

http://www.freelancer.com/page.php?p=info/terms

So I suggest you that if you do not any thing better to stay away or ask for clarification — Preceding unsigned comment added by121.220.75.49 (talk) 08:38, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

I am going to tell you this once and only once. Go read your former talk page where three different editors, including one of the most respected administrators on Wikipedia, have told you that my actions were completely proper! I couldn't care less what you think about Freelancer.com, dude. The only problem I had was you added a bit to the article that was unreferenced and negative. I don't even know what freelancer.com is, and furthermore I do not care. Since you are IP hopping, you will find what the other three editors said at User talk:121.214.138.208, which was the IP you were posting from when you posted here originally. I will go where I want on Wikipedia, or anywhere else on the internet or in the world for that matter. It is extremely presumptuous for you to think you may have the right to tell me otherwise. Learn how to do what you are doing here, which I might have been willing to help you with at one time, or stop doing it! Gtwfan52 (talk) 08:55, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
To IP Editor: ......they prohibited the exchange of contact information.(proof?)..between contractor and employer in an attempt to milk 10% of all project money. (proof?} ....for ever (proof). ...... this led the employers force(what does this mean?) to discuss the project in their message board(proof?)....where their staffs are constantly sniffing,(proof?)....compromising the security of confidentiality of employers (proof) ... business secret to freelancer.com staff(proof). ... Any time the ideas can be stolen from you"" (proof?). ...More over asking people to discuss with their subcontractors is really unethical (Your point of view).
You make alot of contentious and potentially libelous statements in one paragraph. What is required to include these claims is proof...more than just how you interpret your envolvement with the company or your personal experiences. We are creating an encyclopedia. This is not a blog. This is not Facebook. This is an Encyclopedia. We (that "We" includes you) must adhere to common standards of verifiability and documentable references. If you have read what was suggested by other editors your understanding of this entire situation should have improved. If you have failed to read them, you will remain ignorant to what your solutions are.```Buster Seven Talk 14:18, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

Proof of Freelancer.com

You question (they prohibited the exchange of contact information.(proof?)) See below the answer. It is nothing against any body. When you say something good you must ready to accept bad also. Freelancer terms and condition clearly states that exchanging contact information is not allowed and contractor and employer must discuss their business discussion in their message board which will be monitored by their staff to make sure nobody is exchanging the contact information http://www.freelancer.com/page.php?p=info/terms

(condition 8.1 and 8.2) You can go and read it yourself

Actually you are doing vandalism. More over I request you not to interfere in this and if any third editor remove it I t is ok for me — Preceding unsigned comment added by121.220.75.49 (talk) 03:38, 10 February 2013 (UTC)

In case you missed it at User talk:Sajith90

To IP User: You seem to imply or have the mistaken idea that your fellow Wikipedia editors are in collusion with Freelancer.com and have plotted to keep negative information out of the article. You are mistaken. I have read the Freelancer User Agreement Section 8 (Avoiding Commissions), specifically sub-sections 8.1 (Prohibition on negotiation of fee outside of site) and 8.2 (E-mail) that you repeatedly make reference to. They are the normal and typical contractual agreements negotiated between contractor and subcontractor. The Commission section (8) deals with negotiating terms of payment outside the jurisdiction and control of freelancer. This is normal business procedure and need not be specified in the Freelancer article. More importantly, the two sections implicitly refer to fees, not to normal communication. Your mis-interpretation (or simple mis-reading) of the User Agreement cannot remain in the article. They misinform the reader which is contrary to Wikipedia policy. My impression is that you have had some negative dealings with Freelancer.com. Wikipedia Online Encyclopedia is not the place to resolve these issues. However, now that you have created a real account, you can move on to other envolvements...millions of possibilities. Just a word of advice---everyone you meet at Wikipedia is a collaborator. You may not like what they say or do, but they are not adversaries. ```Buster Seven Talk 15:22, 10 February 2013 (UTC)

Confidentiality of Freelancer.com

Please note that I could not understand why you are not answering directly. Even after paying the project fees they prohibit or erase all contact information and send us messages that you have to discuss your business here.(It not for Avoiding Commissions, it is after paying the commissions) see their reply to me. And I do not know who has given judicial powers to Freelancer.com. I do not think Australian Constitution granted any judicial powers to them to decide or involve in third parities business

"In relation to the correspondence of each party (employer and freelancer) through Private Message Board, only authorized Freelancer.com staff has the access on it. These correspondence will be automatically recorded on our Messaging Board for future reference." — Preceding unsigned comment added by101.160.163.118 (talk) 01:11, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

And for your infromation, I have done more than 50 projects through them and payed the commission also and still doing projects. Only thing I felt this is a issue is related to business secret

Edit summary

Hi Gtwfan52, just a friendly reminder, but please be careful with your edit summaries, particularly when using the word "vandalism". Someone brought this revert to my attention the other day. While the edits you reverted were somewhat problematic, I don't think they rise to the level of "Vandalism". Not a big deal, but please be careful. Thanks! Apologies

I'm sorry , but I think that the other user really angered me by stating that my edit was vandalism. I find it tough to accept that I was wrong because I was just editing something that I didn't find appropriate... Yes I should have opened a discussion, but it appears that the other user wasn't wise enough to ask me to do so. If he was a new editor then I don't think he should have even called my edition vandalism... But you don't worry! I can lose my anger in a jiffy... As soon as I reverted his edit I sent him a request on his Talk Page and asked him to please reply or ask me anything he wishes.. Yes I am a host on Tea House and hence the Tea House request..Again not to worry, I would never manhandle new editors ever!!!! I am actually a sort of a new editor myself with I bit of a lead of 2 years, that's it.. But I would request you to warn the other user also... I am not trying to shift the burden onto him, but merely stating what I think would be a balanced take on this case... I can promise you I will mend my ways... And thank you for not taking the drastic step of Blocking me... Again my apologies!!!! Sorry... I sincerely hope you will forgive my actions Ajayupai95 (talk) 15:24, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

Ajayupai95...Thanks for your reply! I am not an administrator, as a matter of fact, you have been here longer than I. I will be 1 year at the end of this month. But I am a very active participant at Teahouse and the Editor Retention Project, and several people, most notably User:Dennis Brown, a very well respected administrator, have noticed that I have skills in instructional mediation, which is what your situation was. I absolutely trust you will do the right thing, and your answers to people at Teahouse are part of the reason why. Thanks for all you do, and good luck in resolving your situation. I came to your talk page with my answer rather than answer you at Teahouse, due both to the length of my reply, and the fact that I like to give only positive, "you are doing great...great question" type replies at Teahouse to keep the overall tone of the page positive. What I needed to tell you was some what negative, so I took it to the semi-privacy of your talk page. And, my friend, you never need to apologize to me for getting a bit amped up at what others do around Wikipedea. It happens to me all the time. :) Good luck and happy editing! Gtwfan52 (talk) 18:50, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

Thanks again,... I even sent him a Tea House request in case he's a new user... And I seriously hope this doesn't continue... Plz forget about this issue if it recurs... I don't think its worth the pain... Ajayupai95 (talk) 03:56, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Well I asked a buddy of mine who works with DRN to take a look, but you may be correct in just dropping it. I don't know the subject matter well enough to even form an opinion on yours or his edits. My concern is his attitude, but dropping matters removes the attitude from being a problem for now. As much as his ip changes, I am guessing he is editing from a phone, and if that is the case, he won't ever be on the same IP long enough to even try to work with him. Gtwfan52 (talk) 04:08, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Lets call it a day then.. and Let it Be like the Beatles say... Yes its probably a static IP or a Mobile phone... Well then, see ya and hope to work more with you..(not in these circumstances of course)!!! Before I forget

Thanks. May I call you AJ? Your username is a monster to type! Unfortunately, I live in a small rural town and my ability to make editorial contributions are quite limited by the fact that my only reliable reference source is the net. We have a local library, but no kidding, just as an example, the most recent reference they have on computer operating systems is on Windows 2000. Add to that the fact that my academic experience predated the internet and I am at a big disadvantage when it comes to writing. I have generated a couple of stubs, one on a local highway and another on a historic church in the town I grew up in; and I am working on articles on another historic landmark back home and on a prison in a town close to here. writing is just not what I am good at, so I do anti-vandal stuff, work at the Teahouse and at editor retention and do a bit at AfC and AfD. but I enjoy this kind of stuff and I only hope that I have helped make Wikipedia a more pleasant place for all. Happy editing, and you know where to find me! Gtwfan52 (talk) 04:58, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Yes I do know where to find you... Thank You very very much!!! I think Gtwfa52 will be an administrator very soon!!!:) You haven't told me your real name...Bye and once again THANK YOU!!!! Ajayupai95 (talk) 07:28, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Gentlemen. I came upon a very confusing article. It was hard to follow all the connections and ins and outs so I thought that the best thing to do was some editing to improve flow, remove redundancy and improve punctuation. I think it is more readable now. I'm not sure what the revolving Ip will think but I guess time will tell. Like Gfan says, it may be more trouble than its worth. I see that Soni is also editing the article. Let's wait and see. ```Buster SevenTalk 08:57, 13 February 2013 (UTC)Added thought: @ Aj. I would be very careful about your edit summaries when communicating with or about a fellow editor that you may be having a disagreement with. Our human feelings are so fragile and our words are so easily completely misunderstood. Vague or emotional summaries just widen the gap that already exists. Be consiliatory. Remain focussed on the edits rather than the editor and whether the edits may be "hurtful". I think I get your intended meaning (This edits are minor. How do they hurt you). But they can also be read as tho you were glad that they were hurtful and were "rubbing it in". Its just better to keep summaries simple and descriptive of what you are doing so that ALL editors that come upon it will know. ```Buster Seven Talk 09:18, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Editor retention ad

Hi. I just noticed your posting over at WPUS, and have copied it over toDYK. I believe, however, it's written in incorrect English. It should be "an editor who..." rather than "an editor that..." — Maile (talk) 16:18, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Question to the Editor

I'm trying to start the page for the 2026 FIFA world cup. The page was deleted some years back, but now that there are actual announcements and official resources for this event, it should definitely have a page up. (By comparison, the 2026 olympics have a page already.) I put the page up at "WP:AFC 2026 FIFA World Cup" first, but the prompt recommended I transfer to "Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/2026 FIFA World Cup". I tried, and it said the page already existed. I looked it up, and it was just a farce and the editors had already declined its induction. So, I put in my article in its place. Is there some way I can get that page re-reviewed with new content in it? Not sure how these things work. I figured since you were just looking to delete another one of my pages, maybe you could help create another? :) Leoberacai (talk) 07:41, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

That picture appears as a function of a template that puts a new picture daily on my userpage. If you would have any interest in that template, this is it: {{pic of the day}}. Not to offend, but my only interest in birds of any kind is "how do they taste?" Today's example is an especially tasty one! Gtwfan52 (talk) 20:27, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
I would also like to apologize for my shortness with you regarding your question at Teahouse. I too, would like to re-extend an invitation for you to bring your questions regarding editing at Wikipedia to the Teahouse. I am a relatively new editor here, too (a year at the end of the month), and I of all people should know how confusing Wikipedia is. So, if you can, I would really appreciate you letting bygones be bygones (A skill that will serve you well at Wikipedia, BTW) and extend an invitation to you that if you have a question that you don't feel comfortable asking in an open forum like Teahouse, you can always come here and ask me directly. You have stated in the past that you are "humor-challenged". The above is proof that you are mistaken. ROTFL ```Buster Seven Talk 22:48, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

Hello, Gtwfan52. The Twilight Zone Spiral is up to his problematic editing again. So if you don't mind helping out on that matter, which, judging by your comments on my talk, you don't, then do help out with it when you can. When he was blocked, I felt (and still feel) that he should have been blocked for WP:Disruptive editinginstead of WP:Edit warring (or at least both). Flyer22 (talk) 07:23, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

Editor of the Week for February 17, 2013

You have new message/s Hello. You have a new message at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Editor Retention/Editor of the Week's talk page. isaacl (talk) 22:28, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

Hi. :) I assume this was placed in error, since BLPprod only applies to living people. I removed it, but because I don't like to see unsourced articles either, added a ref. It could certainly do with more, but there seem to be plenty out there just from my quick check of Google books. Maybe somebody will fix it up. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:57, 17 February 2013 (UTC)

A while back you asked if I knew more of him than the article. I live in the same town he did, and knew him for a few years at the end of his life. He used to go to Australia every winter for the climate and one year I went down for a month at about the same time although I didn't spend the entire trip with him but instead drove around and explored Western Australia and then went for a week to Eastern before going home. In his house on a bookshelf of many other interesting books, he had a book "Oil for the Lamps of China" written by another Hobart and he collected things with the "Hobart" name on them like faceplates from welding machines and coasters from Tasmania. He was a very famous old artist, his house was a delight - a 3D sculpture in its own right. More? Ellin Beltz (talk) 16:24, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Maitre d'?

Gtwfan52, a question for you: Do you want to maitre d' for the next week or so? I can do the week after that, but we are currently "maitre d' less". Go Phightins! 03:10, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Would if I could but I can't. Got two separate trials this week, plus my boys first birthday. Fell asleep in my chair just now and only woke up when the heat of the laptop just about gave me my own set of mountain oysters. lol 07:26, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
Okey dokey. We will just go maitre-less I suppose. Go Phightins! 11:20, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Notability

Gtwfan52 - I'm sorry, but I disagree about the notability of the deputy secretary of transportation as a Gunn High Alumni. — Preceding unsigned comment added by70.36.222.246 (talk) 19:48, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Place ?

Thanks for review and guidance. Still a bit unsure about whether the article qualifies as relating to a PLACE. Had this discussion with previous reviewer and as result changed the title from Ballynagran to Ballynagran Energy Plus Community as the subject matter is really about a community's journey to being an energy (carbon) plus community. Essentially a European EU (part) funded project in eight communities, Ballynagran* being one, in Northern Europe which will be monitored and used to guide energy policy. The article would hopefully be updated as the various components, be it a wind farm, electric school buses, or biomass energy, etc. etc come on stream.

I will work on a lead paragraph first as you have suggested and take it from there

  • though Ballynagran is a place of about a tiny 100 hectares the actual Ballynagran Energy Plus Community extends to an area of about 3500 hectares

Again Many thanks for crucial feedback. Will collect sources first and run them by you because - if article does not pass the test for inclusion well then i think should wait for the better references. The references are mainly EU Commisson (who part fund the studies and tests in the 8 locations) and EuropeanUniversities (who are conducting the studies in the 8 locations and who ultimately are to recommend an evidence based emission certification system ), local newspapers, the local council /authority, there may be academic references as some post-grads are monitoring aspects of this for their own masters and phds. -(perhaps the last not of any use as they are still just studies/drafts etc).

one difficulty i had was that the local newspaper articles previously referenced were deleted in a reorganization of the parent newspapers website (these may be only temporarily unavailable)

If the references as below were included : generally speaking - and if an article of this type with similar references was written and edited properly, would it have a high chance of inclusion or would more be needed ?

I ask because i can then get one of the community, with far far better writing skills than i have, to re-write up the article, for presentation and resubmission.

A writer i ain't!

You have done a huge amount of edits - unreal!

A small query about unnecessary pages...

Hey Gtwfan52, you haven't given me a proper name to address you by, anyways it's great that the edit war was resolved and that the page is protected (this is Ajay from the ministry of Defence (India) edit war if you don't remember)... I wanted to know from you as to what you would do in this matter. While going thru new articles I found TMLutas creating about a hundred articles on schools and school districts, all comprising of one line about the location and a link to the official website... I asked him politely if he could be kind enough to collaborate the pages or if they could be expanded and he replied angrily that if I wanted to expand them, then I could go ahead by using the website on the article and the I shouldn't think about deleting the pages... So what do I do??? Ajayupai95 (talk) 08:36, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Teahouse Birthday

Hi Gtwfan! We are having some birthday celebrations as Teahouse turns 1 year-old next week. As one of our most active and thoughtful hosts, I was wondering if you might reflect a bit on your experience at the Teahouse and how you view its role in the community. I'd love to have your responses to any of these questions, possibly for a Wikimedia Foundation blog post which will run on the big day.

  1. How did you find the Teahouse? What were your first impressions?
  2. What do you like best about the atmosphere at the Teahouse?
  3. What experience, interaction, guest, or host stands out for you as a highlight?
  4. How has the Teahouse enabled you to empower other editors?
  5. What do you hope for the Teahouse as she continues to grow up?

Thanks again for your awesome contributions. Cheers, Ocaasi t| c 20:28, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Your talk page is fine, if you don't mind; I'll check in. I'm looking forward to reading it! Ocaasit | c 22:55, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
That is fine. I'll make a separate section for it, as I am probably gonna write a book. BTW, you are welcome to stalk my talkpage at any time, and if you see something you are comfortable replying to, feel free. Just try to use a "Teashouse" type tone in your replies! Thanks. You will see something by morning. Gtwfan52 (talk) 23:10, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Teahouse Birthday

I received an invite to the Teahouse from Rosiestep on March 11, 2012. I had registered as an editor on February 27. I made a few assorted edits and in early March, decided to correct what I felt was a major omission in the article on Goshen College. I wrote it in my sandbox and then went to Teahouse on March 22 and asked for an honest critique. I got a great one. They offered constructive criticism and specific instruction on how to do some things I had no idea how to do. This was followed up by some copyediting from Teahouse hosts once I put the addition in the article, and finally, by a very encouraging "atta boy" from Sarah at the Teahouse. I continued making minor edits to other articles of interst to me, mostly to places in my home state, Indiana. Sarah again gave me some great encouragement by awarding me an "Indiana Barnstar" on April 3.

I have been bitten pretty hard at some other places I have asked for help on Wikipedia, getting the attitude "If you don't know this stuff, I am sure not gonna waste my time telling you. The door is thataway===>" Teahouse is always friendly, and completely adopts my Dad's favorite saying, "The only stupid question is the one you don't ask."

Sarah, whom is missed badly, Go Phightins!, NtheP, and DocTree, Fuhghettaboutit, and Ryan Vesey are all standouts. Garamond Lethe has been supremely helpful in general, and especially with the extremely technical questions which always baffle me.

I have maid it a point that if I feel I must give a somewhat negative answer to a question posed at Teahouse, I always take my answer to the users talk page. I have found that in the long run, this has established more long-term mentoring opportunities than merely answering questions. The general style of answering we always use at Teahouse is something I have always tried to use in all my conversations, and I tink that has allowed me to have a fairly high success rate at dispute intervention and general mentoring than I would have otherwise. Of course, there will always be times when no good deed goes unpunished, but you just gotta gloss those over and move on. The relationships I have developed through Teahouse, and lately, WER, have given me people to fall back on when that happens.

For the future, I would like to see more development of new hosts. There is one regular question asker that I think has a large potential to be a fine host, that being User:Anne Delong. I do think a training course (short) for new hosts would be in order, with emphasis on proper deorum and on resource location. Teahouse works much better when we give a simple explanation, and link to the policy that has the reat of the details.

On a personal note, without Teahouse and especially the kind words from Sarah, I probably would be long gone. We miss you Sarah, and hope you can find time again for Teahouse soon. Gtwfan52 (talk) 04:47, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
