Banneker High School (Georgia): Difference between revisions
The reliable source for the addition of Bone Crusher to the Banneker High School website is ME! I am from College Park, grew up with Wayne and know that he went to Banneker High School. — Precedingunsigned comment added by 98.252.201.25 (talk) 16:51, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

Hello Gtwfan52, I am so sorry for the mistake. I thought you were more high up in the system. Please forgive me. Also your language in the last message should improve. I hope in the future we can be friends. Thanks Wikiprof007 (talk) 21:33, 11 March 2013 (UTC) |
- I guess i should take this also as a compliment. I have gotten to enough vandals that sockpuppeters are targeting me! LOL.Gtwfan52 (talk) 21:53, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

- Leaving on an extended Wikibreak this weekend...sucky PL situation right now. Invite me back in a few months please? I am interested and think I have the skillset for it. Gtwfan52 (talk) 18:07, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yes...PL right now with me is a tad sucky as well. Too many family members being hospitalized. Everyone seems to be doing OK though. Thank goodness.--Amadscientist (talk) 01:58, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

The Wikimon calling Gtwfan... Repeat
You guys never stop impressing me...Before I forget, Thank You!!! I have this dirty habit of looking at everyone's pages and the fancy links they have.. I well, I went thru your WP: Retention Project, and what a cause you're taking up!! Kudos to you and your guys!!! Btw can I become a Guest at the Teahouse, and I can help supply you with tea leaves, I mean I can help... So does this Mon qualify or does he have to train more with Ash and earn some more Exp??? You'll get that only if you've seen Pokemon...The Wikimon (talk) 17:40, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- (Gasp) Hold it right there, were you born on the 28th of Feb??? Shiver me Timbers!!!! We're twins... Awesome actually, what a coincidence.. Happy belated B'Day!! Are you going to wish me?? Just kidding... And your Dad has some superb quotes! The Wikimon (talk) 17:44, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- That's my wikibirthday! December 5 is my real birthday. Stalking talk pages and following back on the discussions is another great way to learn the ways of the Wiki. I have another birthday, too, which is tracked on my userpage also. I've been clean and sober since Jan 30, 2007. And that is the one I am the proudest of. Opening pages in edit mode and looking at the code and seeing what it did is exactly how I taught myself Wikicode. As far as teahouse goes, you are already a guest and feel free to go fill out a profile. and if you feel you can chip in with a useful answer here and there, do so by all means. I think, though you were asking about being a host, and for that, I would do a few more things first. Wait two or three months, get an article created through WP:AFC, cause that is where a large number of our questions come from; Participate in some discussions at Articles for Deletion, making sure you read thru the project pages before you start chiming in on the discussions there, do some vandalism patrol. When you get to the point that you see more questions at the teahouse you can answer than those you can't, then sign up as a host., ok? I wish I could stick around and be an active mentor for you, but due to PL circumstances, I am going on an extended Wikibreak starting this weekend. I wish you the best of luck! Your enthusiasm is quite obvious, and I think you are gonna be a great Wikipedian! Gtwfan52 (talk) 18:03, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Aww Shucks... Why the Wikibreak!??? You can always edit from any comp, so where ever you going you can always watch over me!!! Now that you're my WikiGrandDad ;-)!!! Anyways if you're bailing out.. See ya and come back soon! The Wikimon (talk) 03:48, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
- Trust me, if I had any choice, it wouldn't be happening. I will check in from time to time from libraries and such, and I will drop by and check in on you personally. Meanwhile, I have also asked some of my friends to make themselves available to you. I see you have heard from Buster and GP already. They are great guys, prolific writers and both specialize in helping people. I feel honored to be your Wikigrandpappy, as my only spawn is just a year old and I probably won't live long enough to have grandson's of my own. Keep up the good work, ask for direction when you need it, and be patient. Wikipedia has no deadlines, and that includes training. You have a super point to begin with. Altho we have a specific policy referring to the fact that we are not a social network WP:NOTFACEBOOK, social interaction is absolutely needed to complete work of any kind in a collaborative project such as Wikipedia. You seem to choose good friends, a skill that will serve you well here, and in RL too. Best of luck! Gtwfan52 (talk) 07:21, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

A cookie for you!
Hello Gtwfan52, I will be celebrating my birthday on 19 March. So, I would like to give you a treat. If you decide to "eat" the cookie, please reply by placing {{subst:munch}} on my talk page. I hope this cookie has made your day better. Cheers! Arctic Kangaroo 15:33, 17 March 2013 (UTC) |
Cookies, the good kind
Here's a plate full of cookies to share! | |
Hi John from Idegon/Archive 13, here are some delicious cookies to help brighten your day! However, there are too many cookies here for one person to eat all at once, so please share these cookies with at least two other editors by copying {{subst:Sharethecookies}} to their talk pages. Enjoy! Coal town guy (talk) 21:38, 21 March 2013 (UTC) |

These Koekjes Bake Themselves
Buster7 has stopped by and given you some Nice Speculaas Koekjes which promote fellowship and goodwill among editors. Spread the good flavor of Nice Koekjes around Wiki World by sharing them with someone else. Maybe to a friend or, better yet, to someone you have had disagreements with in the past. Nice Biscuits are very tasty and have been known to be so NICE, they will even bake themselves. Enjoy!
You've had the rest...now try the best! ```Buster Seven Talk 05:56, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

New editor barstar has been incorporated in to the "General Barnstars"
I proposed the The Excellent New Editor's Barnstar on the main barnstar page and of all the current proposals...this was the only one that received consensus so I have implemented it.--Amadscientist (talk) 08:53, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
