Gtwfan52, My article was rejected again, with the main apparent reason being that it is written like an advertisement. I changed the line 'The "Bondable NNN Lease", a term coined by NNN Brokers USA and sometimes' to 'The "Bondable NNN Lease" is sometimes'.
Will this change be sufficient or are they going to kick my article back again? NNN Brokers USA is mentioned on one other line in the article, 'NNN Brokers USA, for instance has an in-house stock broker available and analyzes the credit tenant’s financials and stock performance when the tenant is publicly traded on an exchange.' I feel the one mention of NNN Brokers USA is relevant because to the best of my knowledge NNN Brokers USA is the only company that takes an in depth analysis of the tenant's stock and financials.
Any feedback is much appreciated.
Thanks! usrealtor 18:30, 13 July 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ggarver (talk • contribs)

AFC
Hi Gtwfan,
- The article I put together on NNN leases seems to have stopped in the AFC directory. Do the articles usually get reviewed sporadically like this?
usrealtor 23:33, 21 July 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ggarver (talk • contribs)
- Yes, that is not uncommon. You can try to find it here. The list is in order of to be reviewed, the first one being next. Gtwfan52 (talk) 23:49, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

Smiley Bates
Hello Gtwfan52,
Just dropping you a line to let you know I appreciate your assistance with the Smiley Bates article I wrote. I understand I may have used capitalization inappropriately. I have always thought all nouns were supposed to be capitalized. Anyway, thank you for your assistance. If you would want to "Wikify" the article, this would be greatly appreciated, as I don't really know how to do that.

- By putting that tag on it, it lists your article at a place where people who do that will see it. The article really needs referencing. So, if you can, send me some links from the net or title, author publisher page from books and I will help you with that. Gtwfan52 (talk) 16:51, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
- I put this article together from information from a couple of publications on Smiley Bates that his record company put out. I listed both of these in the references Garr1984 (talk) 17:19, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, you will need more than that. Notability, that is, what it takes to have an article about something, requires independent sources. His record company would not qualify. Searching the net, all I have found were the site you mentioned, the one I added (which was commercial in nature and hence, less than desirable as a reference) and a bunch of film on YouTube, which we can't use. This article needs a lot of work if it is to survive and I think it should, because Mr. Bates sounds like he was a fairly notable country (and bluegrass?) artist. I have added a project template to the talk page. Hopefully that gets someones attention that knows how to find info like billboard charts, etc, that will help establish notability. - He was a very well known Country artist in his native Canada. I believe the reason why he is not well known elsewhere, is because he was a very patriotic man, and throughout his career he turned down all offers he received to move to Nashville. I understand a little something about Canadian Culture even though I do not live there. Over the last half-century, the Canadian people have really been struggling to develop a national identity of their own. One consequence of this is that some of the people in the Canadian Country Music industry look upon such singers as Hank Snow, George Hamilton IV, Anne Murray, and Wilf Carter, as sellouts due to the fact that all 4 moved to the United States and later became Superstars. So, to be looked at with favor by your countrymen, you have to stay in Canada, even if that means hindering your career. Sorry for rambling on a bit, but just wanted to give you a little background info as to why he was not better known outside his home country. Garr1984 (talk) 21:16, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
