Hello Damian, I recently did a copy/edit of the page you published Butterfly/Kylie Minogue. Just a comment - you might want to rethink the track listings section - the redundnancy of "Butterfly" (which should be italicized, not quoted) is so redundant.. Perhaps remove the "Butterfly" from the table as it's clear it's all about Butterfly. Also, no need for a chart for the one billboard chart listing - a table or chart is really only needed if there are multiple entries. Just some suggestions for further improvement. The Real Serena JoyTalk 15:26, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Undefined references

[edit]

Hi, in this edit to Skirt (song) you introduced two harvnb short references, "Parlophone 2013a" and "Parlophone 2013b". Unfortunately you did not define them. This means that nobody knows what work you were citing. It also adds the article to Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. If you could define the references that would be great. GOCE copy edit for Skirt (song)

[edit]

Just a few notes:

  • I deleted the stuff from the background about Minogue's switch in management and label because it isn't really relevant to the production of the song.
  • I significantly shortened the lede per MOS:LEDE and WP:UNDUE.
  • I removed quotes from collaborators on the song per WP:NOTPROMO and because I thought they gave undue weight in sections that otherwise summarized neutral POV sources.
  • Using notes with a separate reference list seems inappropriate because the citations are all to websites, rather than papers/books with citations to different page numbers. I would recommend seeking consensus for a change in the citation style on the article talk page per WP:WHENINROME.

I saw that you haven't edited in a couple of weeks so I wanted to leave a talk page message in case you did not see the ping at Wikipedia talk:Did you know#Kylie and Garibay (EP) about the hook. If you have a moment could you take a look and comment (if the podcast verifies that Moroder co-wrote the song, it would be appreciated if you could provide a timestamp for where that is mentioned). Thank you. - Aoidh (talk) 07:40, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize, I was looking in the wrong section in the article. I didn't see the timestamp in the references because I was looking at the Media notes section. I found the part of the podcast the verifies the information and it is good to go. - Aoidh (talk) 07:52, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
