You MfD Nominations
It would be quite a bit better if you could squeeze all of the nominations into one every day; have one nomination for fifteen templates is far less messy and frustrating than fifteen separate nominations. Considering that the rationale is the exact same for each of them, there wouldn't be anythngi wrong with that. ~~ Hi878 (Come shout at me!) 22:31, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

PROD of (27723) 1990 QA
Hi Bulwersator,
I've removed the PROD tag from this article. There is currently no consensus at WP:ASTRO over whether minor planets are inherently notable, but my thinking - and that of many others - is that they count as geographical locations and thus derive inherent notability. As such, deletion of this article is not likely to be uncontested, and it's therefore unsuitable for PROD. Feel free to file an AFD for it, though; the subject of minor planet notability needs some discussion.

Office Hours
Hey Bulwersator/Archive 1! I'm just dropping you a message because you've commented on (or expressed an interest in) the Article Feedback Tool in the past. If you don't have any interest in it any more, ignore the rest of this message :).
If you do still have an interest or an opinion, good or bad, we're holding an office hours session tomorrow at 19:00 GMT/UTC in #wikimedia-office to discuss completely changing the system. In attendance will be myself, Howie Fung and Fabrice Florin. All perspectives, opinions and comments are welcome :).
I appreciate that not everyone can make it to that session - it's in work hours for most of North and South America, for example - so if you're interested in having another session at a more America-friendly time of day, leave me a message on my talkpage. I hope to see you there :). Regards, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 14:33, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry not to see you at the session; the logs are here. In the meantime, the Foundation has started developing a new version of the tool which dispenses with the idea of "ratings", amongst other things. Take a look at WP:AFT5 and drop any comments, criticisms or suggestions you have on the talkpage - I'd be very grateful to hear your opinions. Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 21:33, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

I've been getting back to these if you want to take a look. The first page is done, and the third has a good deal of very good finds toward the end, but it's slow checking that the image is correct and especially that the taxonomy used is the same. —innotata 21:05, 12 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi Bulwersator. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Template:Dp-employee, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Speedy deletion nomination of Template:User FTA
A tag has been placed on Template:User FTA, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Bulwersator (talk) 17:54, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
I declined the speedy deletion of this template because it was not clear to me how this should qualify as a duplication of Template:Userbox. I don't rule out the possibility that this template may be worthy of speedy deletion, but I didn't understand this particular nomination. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 08:07, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Template:NBA Dreams
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Template:NBA Dreams, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Please undelete Two envelopes problem/sources
Dear Bulwersator
You responded to my request to Fastily to undelete Talk:Two envelopes problem/sources, saying this page had not been deleted. What has happened is, I think, is the following. Two envelopes problem/sources has been deleted, and this deletion has automatically also destroyed Talk:Two envelopes problem/sources.
I had been trying to move the former to the latter, since the former had been up for merge or deletion for some time. The actual consensus was to move the page to a subpage of the talk page of the main article.
If undeletion is impossible, please put a recent version of Two envelopes problem/sources back in my user space, or iNic's. Or has it now gone forever? Here is the notice at Two envelopes problem/sources:
- A page with this title has previously been deleted.
- If you are creating a new page with different content, please continue. If you are recreating a page similar to the previously deleted page, or are unsure, please first contact the deleting administrator using the information provided below.
- 07:59, 3 January 2012 Fastily (talk | contribs) deleted "Two envelopes problem/sources" (R2: Cross-namespace redirect from mainspace)
- 12:38, 17 August 2011 RHaworth (talk | contribs) moved Two envelopes problem/sources to User:INic/sandbox [without redirect] (revert)
The day before, I had moved the content of Two envelopes problem/sources to Talk:Two envelopes problem/sources, and replaced it with a redirect to the main article, in line with another sub-Talk-page, Talk:Two envelopes problem/Arguments. Of course I was stupid not to keep a back-up. Richard Gill (talk) 07:23, 4 January 2012 (UTC) I am making the same request to Fastily Richard Gill (talk) 07:47, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

and/or {{Convert to SVG and copy to Wikimedia Commons}} to Commons? There is a coordinated approach to transfer chemistry-related files. --Leyo 10:12, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

- As soon as all other files are on Commons or a file is needed for another Wikipedia, it is OK to do so. Deleting Wikipedia Templates
Dear Bulwersator.
Can I ask what criteria you are using when selecting which templates to nominate for speedy deletion? The only reason I am asking this is because you seem to have nominated almost all of the templates in the Templates for Discussion section this month.

Hi Bulwersator,
You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout and soft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference. Please ensure that your voice is heard by clarifying your position accordingly.

List of images of mountains
Hi Bulwersator, First of all, thank you for the list you have prepared, it is a great idea. I started to insert mountain images on the french wikipedia but then I recognized that their are probably two mistakes: the Grand Bérard would be the Mont Thabor and the Dome de Rochefort seems to be the Aiguille de Rochefort. I'm trying to understand the situation with this image, so I thought I'll ask you since you were the one who put it for deletion. It is definitely in the PD in Israel, where it was taken. It was published by the Israeli government in the National Photo Gallery, and we have a letter from the legal council of the Prime Minister's office verifying this status. However, even the Israeli government cannot change the past, and so they cannot make it enter the PD earlier than it did. All they can do is verify that indeed it was released to the PD in 1999. It is therefore not in the PD in the US. Am I understanding this absurd situation correctly? --Muhandes (talk) 12:59, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

Possibly Unfree
Dear Bulwersator, you nominated all of the photos I uploaded on the Garfield statues page as "possibly unfree." I have been all through this before. Originally, the pictures were posted on Wikimedia Commons and I argued that the statues are in public view, in plain sight. Therefore, copyright is no longer enforceable, thus void. This reasoning did not hold over the long run. Consequently, the images are no longer on Wikimedia Commons; they are on the Wikipedia servers physically hosted in the U.S. As such, U.S Copyright Law specifically applies, and a Fair Use claim has been filed for each of the images I uploaded. If you have an objection to any point of the Fair Use claim, please specify what that complaint is. If someone has moved the images back to Wikimedia Commons, this was done inappropriately.
Bill Cupp (talk) Bill Cupp (cool ASCII art ship missing here) 17:01, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
- I took a look at the pictures at Garfield statues and most of them are claimed to be in the public domain, which is not correct since they are derivative works of copyrighted statues. Since they are currently wrongly tagged, I would have reported them as unfree if I had seen them myself. According to WP:NFCC criterion 10, fair use images have to be properly marked. Also note that the article fails criterion 3a: "Multiple items of non-free content are not used if one item can convey equivalent significant information." It should be possible to use one photo in the article (or maybe two) but definitely not all of them. --Stefan2 (talk) 17:52, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

- I think that transclusion looks like a good idea. At the end of the old drive, it took a lot of time to edit the log file. Confusion at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files/2012 March 24
It appears that your edit removed almost 83k of wikitext from the page (including a nomination I added. Please be careful when editing in bulk (which you appeared to do with a whole slew of nominations. Hasteur (talk) 01:00, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
In addition you appear to be using automation to drive usage of Twinkle to propose files for deletion. Nominating approximately 92 files individually for almost the exact same reason (and even using the same reasoning across multiple proposals) in the space of 20ish minutes suggests a Bot process running. As per WP:BOTPOL this seems to be an unaproved bot I ask that you please halt your batch nominating through this process and explain why. Hasteur (talk) 01:13, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
- It was mass nomination of files from User:Multichill/top self uploaders/Boothferry and User:Multichill/top self uploaders/RobHoitt using tabs in firefox and WP:TWINKLE. I am pretty sure that it is not necessary to pass WP:RBA to use this tool. Bulwersator (talk) 09:39, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

Kothare Fonts
I understand that presently there is a move to delete some files to save space on the wiki site and if that is the reason for deletion of this article I firmly understand that that would be wrong from the basic intention of this site, to keep valuable information for the investigators, students and others of topics. This article provide vital information on Clip fonts used in India to write Indic languages for preparing DTP work. You may read my explanation on my talk page. If wiki editors want to create space I suggest a very large space is occupied by photos of no particular utility, by removing them enough bytes will be available for more useful information. I may remove the tack next time I visit wiki pages of Kothare Fonts because it is not advisable to remove articles of information from this site. Your comments on the page Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kothare fonts, does not make any sense to any body anyway. Pathare Prabhu (talk) 02:16, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. I understand your point however, my recommendation that this article serves the readers in getting to know, how DTP work is done in India using ASCII based Clip font has a point and so the article should continue to help readers of that subject. By removing this article from the main pages of Wiki that information will be lost to the readers. I have also said in my earlier remarks that I cannot give references of other similar fonts in use as they are not available in public domain. As a result, the article remains a stub but still gives enough information on the topic. Pathare Prabhu (talk) 04:43, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Tajikistan Articles
You've been nominating a lot of articles about small villages and locales in Tajikistan for deletion. These appear -- mostly at least -- to be legitimate places. You may need to do some digging for English language references, but I think it would be better to tag these as needing references rather than nominating them for deletion. Tropical plants
Hello, How are you? I need your help. I thank you your help in the articles and I hope you help me again in future. I ask you: Can you find more people willing writing in tropical trees, genera and families? I ask you if you could enlarge some articles making better known this group of trees in Wikipedia, adding links to genera and families and writing information and asking people if they are interested in writing about topics as tropical trees articles, tropical forest articles or botanical or biodiversity articles. Do you know Wikipedia forums that could be interested about these type of articles? They are welcome too. I thank you very much.
I am from Spain and my mother language is not English language. Many country side areas, and Natural areas and Living beings are in Countries where population cannot collaborate with Wikipedia, but their Natural World and its highly economically valuable species are very important too in the human knowledge and developtment of the mankind. People should have information because these matters are important, not just a curiosity only. This unknow world is from Poles to ecuator, in unoccupied oceanic areas closely to Europe, in Deserts as Sahara, or whatever. - After extensive research taken from the book Topography of Armageddon, A British Trench Map Atlas by Peter Chasseaud, the green line shown on this map was imposed on to this modern map of the area by myself. The map in itself is only a very small section of a modern French Cart Topographique 1 : 2500 by IGM France and I am sure doesn’t breach copyright as it is only a small part/section of the whole map.

I've now come across three different and unrelated situations where you requested deletion of content that probably shouldn't have been deleted, though I realize you were acting in good faith. May I suggest that you focus on the worst content first when requesting deletion, and bypass the marginal cases. This will lead to a better utilization of our volunteer resources. Thank you for considering it. Warm regards, Jehochman Talk 00:59, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
You tagged this as {{subst:nsd}}, but there is in fact a source given: "Scanned from February 2004 issue of the magazine İzmir Life". I assume that the next thing to do is to locate a copy of the magazine and check if it is possible to verify the copyright status based on the information in the magazine. --Stefan2 (talk) 13:29, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- {{subst:npd}} also looks wrong. I think that you will have to check the Turkish magazine in order to determine if the image can be kept or not. --Stefan2 (talk) 13:53, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Why did you un-nominate Zellers.jpg for deletion?
The image quality is AWFUL! i've already requested a higher-quality version, but it wasn't done. So now, i'm nominating it for deletion and really don't get why you're trying to "save" it. --LABcrabs (talk) 13:47, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Moving some maps to Commons
Hi. I was thinking of moving these maps to Commons. But it seems that uploader uploaded both a small and a large version of all maps. I think we should replace the small files with the large ones and then move to Commons. Any ideas how to do that easy? --MGA73 (talk) 13:39, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: File:NotarchusPunctatusSeaSlug.jpg
Hello Bulwersator. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of File:NotarchusPunctatusSeaSlug.jpg, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: per note on talk page and claim that there is permission. There's no rush and if it isn't confirmed soon, it can go to WP:FFD. Thank you. SmartSE (talk) 17:50, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
careless image actions
Hi Bulwersator,
A couple of your recent actions w/r/t images were silly/wrong. (1) Moving File:Hsl-as-sphere.jpg to commons. This was an image created explicitly for wikipedia talk pages, and has no external utility. It does not belong on commons, it belongs on wikipedia as support material for discussion archives. There’s really no reason to touch it. Unfortunately, soon after you added the image to commons, another overzealous editor deleted the image from wikipedia, in the process killing any page history, etc. (2) Nominating File:Avid-hsl.png for deletion with an entirely incorrect rationale (namely that it wasn’t discussed on the article where it is used). In both of these cases, the actions seem to have been undertaken mechanically, like a bot, without any attempt to look at the context or use of these images, or think. I don’t know if it’s a general pattern, but I recommend editors who plan to make many changes should try to pay some attention, instead of indiscriminately applying crude heuristics. Cheers. jacobolus (t) 05:04, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

I've updated the image further with the definitive URL where the image is available from today. Hopefully this should resolve any additional concerns.--RadioFan (talk) 14:30, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Why you erased my Zach photo
Didn't you read I took that picture myself. How Am I violating a copyright that was my own taken picture with my own camera and it was obvious. You are the one who should be blocked for not thinking before doing things, give me an clear explanation. I am going to complain about your action. I even improved the quality and made it better to fit the profile. Why are you behaving like this with me. You are the one who violated my copyright by erasing my own picture that I personally took. You are an extremist that didn't think before acting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Frog890 (talk • contribs) 20:48, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Unused files
Hi. I checked to see if there were some users that had many files in Category:Wikipedia orphaned files. My plan was that perhaps it was better to nominate a lot of files in one DR instead of spamming the uploader with many DR's. Andrew Parodi has 144 orphan images. Do you know if there is a tool to create such DR's? (Other users with more than 100 unused uploads: User:Carptrash, User:718 Bot, User:Plumoyr, User:Bwmoll3, User:Attilios, User:Beao, User:Kranar drogin, User:Miami92 - I could make galleries for those if you think it is a good idea.) --MGA73 (talk) 18:42, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I have no idea. With 100+ files you maybe you can ask for a bot. And I am unsure whatever mass nomination like this is a good idea - most of orphaned files should be rather moved to Commons than deleted Bulwersator (talk) 18:58, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
- Okay :-) I agree that many orphan images should be moved to Commons and I moved ~50 NASA images a few days ago and ~500 maps yesterday (or was it 2 days ago?) from the orphan category. But if it is unused userpage images of family etc. then we should not move them. So my idea was if we can move hundreds of good files in one task or delete hundreds of bad files in one task then we would reduce the backlog fast. --MGA73 (talk) 19:35, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
- I must say that most of the files by User:Andrew Parodi look like useful files, so I would say that they should be moved to Commons instead of being deleted. The idea of working on one user at a time sounds good since there will probably be similar categories for the images and a similar probability of finding copyright violations. However, I'm not sure if there is an advantage of choosing a specific user only because the user has lots of orphaned files. --Stefan2 (talk) 19:49, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

Hello - Thanks for the message. The above file is actually free - please see the additional information with this file... "The photographs of Heinrich Hoffmann are considered to be in the public domain in the U.S. due to their status as seized Nazi property, although in normal circumstances their copyrights would not yet have expired. For more information, please see: David Culbert (1997). "The Heinrich Hoffmann Photo Archive: Price vs United States (United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, 20 November, 1995)". - See {{PD-HHOFFMANN}}: you have to include a link to the United States National Archives which confirms that this particular photo is seized Nazi property. Why are you giving a false rationale when you tag images for deletion
If you look carefully, or even bother to open the page, you will see that the image "John Gardner" is not only in the public domain, but has its "source" clearly given in the description. Your rationale is false, and I would like it if you either explained yourself, or would please remove your clearly false claim..JOJ Hutton 18:38, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
- I'm going to assume that since you have actively edited since my last inquiry, you have at least had a chance to see my question and would still like for you to explain yourself. Why are you falsely tagging articles? Last chance to respond before I take this to a notice board. JOJ Hutton 21:12, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
- Currently file is without source that allows verification of licence and description. Bulwersator (talk) 07:50, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- It lists its source. Stop saying it doesn't have a source. Look very very carefully.--JOJ Hutton 13:16, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- It is nominated for deletion as file "without source that allows verification of licence and description" not as "without source" Bulwersator (talk) 13:18, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- The source is listed as California Department of Corrections photographic records. Thus it is in the public domain, because mug shots taken by California law enforcement are released into the public domain. I also notice that you have tagged other images with the same rationale, that have their source listed as well. I may have no other choice but to list this dispute at ANI, since its obviously bigger than a single image being erroneously listed for deletion. --JOJ Hutton 13:47, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- Still, there is no link to web page listing this picture as work of California Department of Corrections photographic records, there is no ID of image in collection of this institution or anything else that allows verification. Bulwersator (talk) 13:51, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- It doesn't need a link. See WP:PAYWALL. Just because you cannot sit at your computer and verify the source, does not mean that the source is invalid. I cannot believe you even said that, but it explains so much.--JOJ Hutton 13:54, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- "Verifiability in this context means that other people should be able to check that material in a Wikipedia article has been published by a reliable source" - currently this image is IMHO without proper source, only with specified author. Your opinion is different - I suggest to wait for result of deletion request, as this discussion is rather not very productive Bulwersator (talk) 14:08, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- Well then, since you are obviously erroneously tagging several articles as well as this one, and you are obviously not going to stop doing so, I have no other choice but to have this sorted out a ANI.--JOJ Hutton 14:10, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

- It is nominated for deletion as file "without source that allows verification of licence and description" not as "without source" Bulwersator (talk) 13:18, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- It lists its source. Stop saying it doesn't have a source. Look very very carefully.--JOJ Hutton 13:16, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

Please stop blanket nominations for deletion
Bulwersator, please stop nominating every single image on Wikipedia for deletion. If you would bother to look at the images and their licensing/sourcing information, you would see that your blanket nomintaions for deletion are unwarranted and a waste of resources. Sf46 (talk) 12:13, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- Can you provide examples of botched nominations? Bulwersator (talk) 12:19, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- To start with: File:963 AWACS.JPG, File:BoNM Rhodesia3.JPG, File:Ogden Portrait.JPG, File:Vicksburg-USCT.JPG. I'm sure that more will be coming. Sf46 (talk) 13:24, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- I asked you previously [3] to be more careful about your deletion nominations. I suggest you simply stop this activity and focus on other things. If you continue to make bad nominations it is possible that an RFC will be started and you might ultimately be placed under a formal restriction. That would be disappointing and a poor use of volunteer resources. Instead of going down that path, why don't you contribute in other ways that are not generating controversy? Jehochman Talk 14:22, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- I'm taking this to ANI within the hour, so please watch for it.--JOJ Hutton 14:30, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- I caught a couple of your nominations the other day as well, where the source had moved is all, but that doesn't change the fact that the source did exist when it was uploaded, as verified by the Wayback machine. Shotgun nominating images this way is disruptive, and I've said as much at the ANI. If this is part of a larger pattern, and continues, then you would be forcing our hands here. Report to ANI over your mass tagging of images
Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.
See the thread at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#User is mass tagging images for deletion under false and misleading rationales.--JOJ Hutton 15:12, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
File:UNC_Chapel_Hill_Cornerstone.jpg
In regards to, File:UNC Chapel Hill Cornerstone.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files I believe {{Non-free historic image}} is appropriate and have posted as such here. Meanwhile, I see here that you seem to go around tagging everything for deletion. I intend to add to that discussion. Eric Cable | Talk 17:41, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
Topic ban
Following the consensus at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#User is mass tagging images for deletion under false and misleading rationales, you are hereby indefinitely topic banned from all deletion processes (except when a page you have created or significantly edited is nominated by someone else). Any clarification or modification of the topic ban (e.g. to attempt mentorship in the topic area) should be discussed at the Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard as well, preferably with a link to the discussion leading to this topic ban. The topic ban will also be noted at Wikipedia:Editing restrictions. Fram (talk) 07:06, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Discussion at AN
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.
Over a question of your user page User:Bulwersator/should be deleted and wether or not it violates your topic ban.
See: Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#Possible Topic Ban Violation of User:Bulwersator--JOJ Hutton 21:26, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Attempting to game/evade your topic ban
Is clearly the intent of the user subpage you created. It is clear you do not agree with the ban. That does not mean you may ignore it. The community has seen fit to impose it upon you and that, for the moment, is that. Whether you violated the exact terms of it or not is irrelevant, you were clearly not following the spirit of the ban. Any further actions along these lines will lead to immediate indefinite blocking of this account.
When you are under a topic ban, it means that there is one particular aspect of your contributions that is seen as problematic but that on the whole you are considered an asset. It also means you will be under extra scrutiny while the ban is in place. Attempting to evade or game the ban shows a lack of willingness to abide by consensus, which was and is still strongly in favor of the ban. If you continue to ignore consensus on this issue the community will likely decide that the balance has shifted and you are now more of a problem than an asset. Nobody wants to see that happen so please don't do anything else that could be construed as evading or ignoring the topic ban. Thanks. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:26, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
- This [4] has just been pointed out as another obvious example of you ignoring the ban. As it appears to be from before I posted the above notice there will be no consequences at this time, but I must advise you not to particpate in that discussion any further. How do I get this undeleted? I did not notice this until you already had it deleted. it seems that you just go around nominating images for deletion all day.

Dear bulwesator.
I provided a portrait of the Irish socialite and equstrienne Joan de Sales La Terriere, taken in the Summer of 1914, from my own personal collection, as I described. Therefore I am the creator of the file. You said, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license. If you mean that there is no proof that the original owner of the photograph, or the photographer intended for its publication on wikipedia 98 years ago, then yes that is correct. Otherwise I'm not sure what extra information can be given aside from that already supplied. Perhaps you might indicate what extra assurances are required. — Preceding unsigned comment added by V04bf04a (talk • contribs) 00:24, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
Possibly unfree File:Vandalized Stalin, Fallen Monument Park, Moscow.JPG
I personally took File:Vandalized Stalin, Fallen Monument Park, Moscow.JPG, and the images says so. I thought I released it into public domain. Can this mess with Russian copyright? I'm a bit confused.
- It seems that the user hasn't been editing for more than half a year, so I will try to answer instead. Based on the file name, I suspect that this might be a photo of a statue or something similar. Per Commons:COM:FOP#Russia, photos of Russian statues violate the copyright of the sculptor, unless the sculptor has been dead for at least 70 years. Most statues of Stalin were made by sculptors who died less than 70 years ago. Does this answer your question? --Stefan2 (talk) 17:59, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
Hi there! I can help!
I am an editor with many years of experience editing the English (en.Wiki) Wikipedia. I edit biography articles about musicians. I found a page from you on the Japanese Wikipedia (ja.wiki), and the photos you put there, asking that editors please create infoboxes and help. I have uploaded more than 2,500 photos to Commons, and this kind of work is what I do best! As a matter of fact, a few of those photos (like the one of Pat Metheny) are ones I uploaded to Commons! I will begin to keep a list for you of the articles I improve in one of my sandboxes here and you can then cross them off your list. What a nice and inventive way of getting old stubs closer to finished, and a good opportunity for new editors to practice this work, too! Thank you. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 16:24, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- Oh, my mistake. I just noticed you have been blocked on the Polski Wikipedia. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 16:27, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello,
There is an ongoing discussion about the use of files on Wikipedia that are not protected by copyright in the US because there is no copyright relations between the US and the country of publication. You commented in a 2012 discussion on the same topic that resulted in no consensus. You are invited to share your views in the ongoing discussion. AHeneen (talk) 21:15, 3 January 2017 (UTC)
