If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:2021 Winter Vacation in India requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://trendienewz.com/delhi-school-closed-all-schools-and-colleges-in-delhi-closed-the-threat-of-omicron-deepens/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Orphaned non-free image File:The Ballad of Sandeep (2011 Short film).jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:The Ballad of Sandeep (2011 Short film).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:48, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If it used in your above draft that was declined, the reason is non-free images are not allowed in drafts. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:52, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth without a source

[edit]

Please don't make edits where you add date/place of birth without a source as you did here [1]. You CANNOT add a "citation needed" tag, you MUST include a source for personal details like that, for WP:BLPPRIVACY reasons. Please don't ever do something like that again. If you don't have a reliable source (and don't use scraper sites like starsunfolded, use reputable news sites), don't add the information. Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 17:23, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am very sorry, but actually I found the data via wikipedia itself while google searched it. But for unknown reason, it is not showing "inside" wikipedia page. Go and check yourself. And I used "citation needed" so that any admin may look this issue and solve it. The same issue happens here:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vrajesh_Hirjee

Thank you Bobe8q8661 (talk) 17:37, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia CANNOT be used as a source, ever. If you googled the answer you better provide the source that Google got that info from cause a Google Search result also cannot be used as a source. I highly suggest you read WP:BLP. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:01, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia has a lot of rules, Bobe8q8661, and those of us who've been editing here for a while know that newer editors aren't as familiar and will make edits that probably shouldn't be made. Talk page messages like this (even warnings) are just a way to help you understand and learn those rules, and improve as an editor. The WP:BLP that Blaze Wolf called out is one of the key policies - it's short for Biographies of Living Persons, but really applies anywhere you talk about someone that's alive (or recently passed). Information in articles can have an impact on that person, so Wikipedia articles need to make sure that personal information always has a reference to a good source. You can't just do a google search and take any result, it needs to be from a reliable source. Scraper sites (starsunfolded, wikibio, celebrityborn) should never be used. Sticking with reputable news sites is always a good thing, and asking at WP:RSN or WT:ICTF is a good option. Ravensfire (talk) 18:44, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Draft review comments

[edit]

Please don't remove the AFC comments from draft articles as you did here - [2]. There's an HTML comment on them saying "Do not remove" for a reason. They were restored once after you earlier deleted them, don't keep doing that. Ravensfire (talk) 15:20, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive fan editing

[edit]

A lot of your edits are bordering on disruption, with a focus on fan edits to fictional content, such as items from Half-Life. Please do not continue. This type of content is not suitable for Wikipedia. If it's the type of content you wish to work on you may have better luck at Fandom or Gamepedia. -- ferret (talk) 16:24, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bhool Bhulaiyaa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Horror. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

2022 New York City Subway attack

[edit]

Please read WP:BLP from beginning to end, with a special focus on WP:BLPCRIME. Then read Richard Jewell. High-profile crime pages like 2022 New York City Subway attack are read by lots of people. You have to get it right the first time. "Person of interest" does not mean "suspect" does not mean "accused" does not mean "convicted". If you're unsure about any source, if you're unsure about anything, just leave it out. No harm comes from a missing field in an infobox. Thank you. Query regarding your connection to another account

[edit]

Hi Bobe8q8661. I'm Tamzin, and I'm an administrator and SPI clerk here on Wikipedia. I wanted to inquire about the relationship between your account and TriMain182681 (talk · contribs). Do you operate both of these accounts, or do you have any other connection to TriMain182681? Please do not edit further until you answer this message. Thank you.   -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 06:07, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the other account is my relative's account who is new on Wikipedia. Hope this answer will satisfy you. If you want to ask or know more about this, please ask/reply asap.
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobe8q8661 (talkcontribs) 06:11, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Can I ask why the two of you are editing so many of the same pages, so close together? Why did your relative tag Draft:Yippee (noodles) for deletion, as "author's request", when you are the author? -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 06:17, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, my mistake. Actually, I send the draft's link to him to read my draft. But, told him to put "deletion tag" because I want to delete it. But, then I realized that only author has right to delete. So, I soon edit it with my "own" account. Hope, it will solve your query. Anything else, then please ask. Thank you sir/mam.
We both are editing same pages because I am teaching him "how to use Wikipedia?", as he is new, he did many mistakes and I am correcting it. Hope you understand. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobe8q8661 (talkcontribs) 06:34, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And why did he create Draft:Yippee (noodle) on the same topic? -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 06:40, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Because I don't want to proceed that draft further (that's why I deleted it). I told him to read and re-create your "own" draft of same topic/name if he "wants". Another query, please ask. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobe8q8661 (talkcontribs) 06:45, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Do you and your cousin live together? (Also, please sign and indent your posts.) -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 06:54, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, not together. Separate homes. Now, may I ask that why you asked this question? How does it related to your "original" question. Please reply. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobe8q8661 (talkcontribs) 07:01, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I asked because what you are describing may potentially violate our policy against using multiple accounts. Knowing if the two of you live together is important for making that determination. Also, again, please follow WP:SIGN and WP:THREAD. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 07:35, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I think you are pretty satisfied now. May I delete my draft as he also refused to work on my draft and also he is wanting to delete his "own" draft of same topic. May I proceed? Bobe8q8661 (talk) 07:40, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If TriMain182681 can come here and affirm that he does not want to work on the draft anymore, and you both agree to not submit any further drafts about this product, yes, I will delete it. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 07:44, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I does not want to work on the draft. Please proceed deletion process. TriMain182681 (talk) 07:58, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. I've deleted the draft, on the understanding that if either of you changes your mind, you will request to restore this draft, rather than create a new one. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 08:05, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Sonal Kaushal (Voice actress).jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Sonal Kaushal (Voice actress).jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:58, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello, Bobe8q8661. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "The Mark".

If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
