DYK for Nandu River Iron Bridge
On 16 April 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Nandu River Iron Bridge, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the Nandu River Iron Bridge was built by the Imperial Japanese Army in Hainan, China, during the Second Sino-Japanese War as the first bridge to span the Nandu River? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Nandu River Iron Bridge. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Disambiguation link notification for April 17
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Pie safe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Creole (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This looks familiar! :) Viriditas (talk) 08:34, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hey! That's my map. They owe me eleven bucks. Seriously, there's none of my hand in that any more. (Something grammatically wrong with that.) The map is Open Maps and the red stuff is User:Odder (a fine editor who can float on his back and open shellfish at the same time). But, it's nice to see that so many other language Wikipedias are using it. I think visitors find it useful.
- While we're on the subject, what do you think of this: Talk:Boston Marathon#Map? Bunnies, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:40, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, good idea. Viriditas (talk) 08:43, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Darn tootin'! I went to that article to get the route map and it wasn't there, and to my astonishment, not at commons either. That's like going to Northwest Passage and only seeing Roald Amundsen. Sure, he was a stand-up guy and handled nippy weather well, but it doesn't help visitors know where the passage is. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:50, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Good point. On another topic altogether: I was just doing article research on Patty Cakes the gorilla who just died. Because she was born in 1972, I had to look up old newspapers on Google news. As I was doing so, I ran into Helen Bottel's old column "Helen Help Us!" which was published in the 1960s and 1970s. I think you would really enjoy it. The column (and her replies written along with her daughter Sue) makes use of old slang, colloquialisms, and strange situations that have been lost to time, while others seem like they happened just yesterday. I know you love that kind of stuff, so check it out. Viriditas (talk) 12:53, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
- That sounds good, but I can't find the book. It's at googlebooks, but unreadable. Do you have a link? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 03:27, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
- It's on Google news (archives) not books. I'll try and find you some links. I found it to be a very touching and heart warming read. Viriditas (talk) 11:04, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

- Agreed. Looking back, it looks like Helen was way ahead of her time when she employed her young daughter to help her answer questions about the younger generation. I thought it was brilliant. Viriditas (talk) 01:05, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- I haven't encountered that one yet. I've found these so far: [1][2][3][4][5][6] Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:14, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- I'll find you some, there's a few years worth. Looking at the ads in your links, it's amazing that the cost of air conditioners hasn't changed in 40 years! Isn't that weird? Viriditas (talk) 01:37, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- Note, I have to find you the one where the girl gets spanked by her dad in front of her date! Viriditas (talk) 01:44, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- Here it is. Notice how "Sue" (her daughter) adds responses after her mom. When they say "Dear RAP" that refers to "Generation rap", two answers by two generations of women. "Rap" also stands for something I believe, but is obviously a play on "Generation Gap"; instead of highlighting the differences between herself and her daughter, Helen focuses on dialogue ("rap") between the generations. The woman was and remains brilliant. We need more of her. Viriditas (talk) 02:42, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your huge contribution... Astefopoulos (talk) 13:42, 17 April 2013 (UTC) |
- Thank you so much. I really like your Dad's art. He was very good. :) Please remember what I said: lots and lots and lots of media references. That will help a great deal in getting your article approved. I'll keep an eye on your sandbox. The WP:AfC has a big backlog so let me know when you're happy with it, and I'll take a look and see if I can fast track it into the mainspace. Best wishes, :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 14:01, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- By the way, does Greek wikipedia have an article on him already? I won't even try to look because so far I've seen 3 English spellings and 4 Greek spelling of his name. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 14:03, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
Thank you!
... for writing the Pie safe article. "Pie safe" has been on the list of Articles I should create but haven't on my user page for ages. I've acknowledged your fine work there.
Maybe I'll add a photo of the handsome pie safe in my kitchen at some point. In all my spare time.
Thanks again. --Seduisant (talk) 16:18, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Aha! That's where the term came from. I was just at your userpage the other day (via a copyvio matter) and it must have sunk into my head. I thought I'd encountered it while browsing. Well, I'm sorry to have pinched your article. I hope you're not upset. I kept saying to myself "pie safe, pie safe, what's a pie safe..." and looked it up.
- I love your userpage. I just got "If...." because of you. And you sure have met a lot of interesting people. I imagine you're secretly famous. And I'm examining the fantastic detail of File:Pieter Bruegel the Elder - The Dutch Proverbs - Google Art Project.jpg. It looks like that other huge one with the heaven and hell and two sides or four quadrants or whatever. I can't find it and the category at commons for File:Pieter Bruegel the Elder - The Dutch Proverbs - Google Art Project.jpg doesn't have the artist for some reason.
- Sorry to blab on. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 20:42, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Found it. It's File:The Garden of Earthly Delights by Bosch High Resolution.jpg. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 20:44, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Oh, and yes please. Good images of a pie safe would be very, very good! I'm interested in ventilated side panels and ventilated shelves, and punched hole patterns in particular. Sorry to still keep blabbing on. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk)
- I'll reply in detail later, but thanks for the compliment. In the meantime, you're probably looking for Hieronymous Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights. It's in The Prado. I've never seen it, sadly. --Seduisant (talk) 20:51, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Stephopoulos
Hi Anna, regarding your question about my father, if there is a greek article, the answer is no and i will try to make one after the international in en.wikipedia! I have it already in greek but i have to convert it in the wiki template.
As you can see i have started the writing of the article in sandbox1. I hope that in less than one week it will be ready for evaluation by you! :)
Also i would like to know if there is possible to create some redirects for the article, you know Stefopoulos/Stephopoulos Athanassios/Thanassis. If you have time check the sandbox2 and tell me if i have done it the right way!
Last, i want to kindly ask you, when the article is ready and you confirm to publish it, to give me instructions because i would really like to send you a book of my fathers paintings (no charge)! Just to say thank you!!! I hope you take this the right way and don't connect the article with it!!! :) :) :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Astefopoulos (talk • contribs) 19:08, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hello, my friend. To answer: Vαι and όχι. :) Or in English yes I can make all the redirects, and no, with kind thanks, I cannot accept a gift. It is my pleasure to help, and the article will be the gift. But, if you know of a website link to download a nice painting that your father did, I would love to have it as my computer wallpaper.
- Let me know when all is ready with the draft and I will take a look.
- Best wishes,

Did you find something for her infobox picture? Miss Bono (zootalk) 15:24, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- No. There are really no free images out there. Our best chance is to find an email address that connects to her. Finding her personal email seems unlikely, so writing to an organization that is connected to her is the best chance. Thoughts? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 20:49, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

- Have you ever get success?? I tried to do so with Bono and I didn't achieve anything but being ignored Miss Bono (zootalk) 14:42, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- I usually succeed. I don't know how busy or famous she is, but that makes a difference. Also, it's important how she sees Wikipedia. Some see it as a status symbol. Some like its promotional aspects. Some see it as an invasion of privacy, or just don't care. Now, Bono, from what I hear, is quite a famous person. He probably gets a lot of fan mail and such emails would just get lost. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 14:49, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

For all your help and support. Keep being cool Miss Bono (zootalk) 15:23, 25 April 2013 (UTC) |
- Thank you. That's very nice of you. I don't know if I'm cool, although there are some kids who think I'm very cool because I taught them how to make hexahexaflexagons. :) Thanks again, and I'm always around if you need me. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:36, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you!! :D Miss Bono (zootalk) 19:39, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
- I just saw this and I had to respond. When I was in elementary school, the girls would make hexahexaflexagons to use as a Magic 8-Ball. You would ask a question, and they would "mix" the little slips/flaps of papers with their fingers and then stop to lift one up. Beneath the slip would be an answer (yes, no, maybe, try again). Does this ring a bell with anyone? Also, we used to run around campus yelling "How many?" with someone replying "A google!" because it was a cool word. Viriditas (talk) 00:39, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- Are you sure they were hexahexaflexagons, because there's no looking under stuff. You just keep turning them inside out a million times to make 16 different appearances.
- Speaking of which, I just added this image showing 12 of 18. I know there are 18, but figured that 6 of those are like another 6, just mirror images. Now I see, in the case of the hearts, that the hearts can be split, point inward, or outward. Ahhhhh, now I have to start over with the image photos. I'll try to design each one so that 3 unique images can be made from each side. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:52, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, they were hexahexaflexagons, but my description was wrong; what I mean by "beneath the slip" is the way they hold it with fingers on both hands. You can hold it in such a way that one flap covers the other, hence the "looking under stuff". Viriditas (talk) 00:57, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- Looks like I was wrong, as we have an article on what I'm talking about. See: Paper fortune teller. Viriditas (talk) 01:01, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

- Can you contact her and ask her to upload them to Snotr? It seems odd that YouTube would still be blocked since it is the default medium for educational videos. Viriditas (talk) 03:42, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- I may indeed contact her. YouTube is blocked because it is also a medium for other things that the powers that be over here don't like. As I've said in the past, I agree with the block. They weigh out freedom of speech against masses of kids organizing to turn the country upside down just to open up faster. Well, it's already opening up incredibly fast, and historically, masses of kids organizing results in millions of dead people. Safety first. Meet Chinese villagers and you will love them so much you will understand that protecting them is paramount. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 22:24, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

- I've also added links to the article in the See also sections of articles listed therein, and have added some new entries to the article (see the article's Revision history). Feel free to add more! Northamerica1000(talk) 05:24, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

- Thanks. I feel that if these could all be completed within a relatively reasonable amount of time, it will lead to many grand things, such as everyone in the world instantly becoming intellectually enlightened. But, on a serious note, more page hits to the list articles are likely when articles are generally complete. This equates to more readers, which can correlate with increased participation on Wikipedia and the attainment of new editors. However, I'm also selfish, food articles are cool and fun to work on, and I have some knowledge of many food topics (though not all). Sometimes I'll do a run and try to get one of the list articles in a relatively completed state, after which time I tend to take a short break from them, so not to burnout. Not to beat a dead horse, but always feel free to update the food article page I created. Oh yeah, one more thing, always feel free to update the food article page I created...Oh, I already said that! Northamerica1000(talk) 12:57, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- You are hugely productive, as I've said before. I'll try to look at some updates. I've had a lot of off-wiki stuff, so when I'm on, I have to select tasks that are fun and top of the list. Probably List of potato dishes should be what I work on next. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 21:13, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for replying, and yes, fun is key in task selection, to be sure. Cheers, Northamerica1000(talk) 02:25, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- I can't believe you just did all that. Thank you soooo much. I kept putting it off. I'm very grateful. You did a really good job too. Many thanks. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 22:18, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
At the risk of inundating your talk page with too many entries, here's an article I've been working on. I was considering working toward a DYK nomination, but didn't have enough time to work it out to expand it to five-fold (as required for already-existent articles to qualify for DYK). Regardless, it's a globally-recognized topic. Per our shared interest in food-related articles, just a notice in case you're interested in helping out to improve it. If you're a vegetarian, I apologize in advance! Peace, Northamerica1000(talk) 11:59, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- Great idea! I'm surprised it didn't exist before. Well done. And I'm a vegetarianarian, which means I eat vegetarians (not to be confused with vegetarian Aryans, who only eat white vegetables and are real bastards). Anna Frodesiak (talk) 22:15, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't create the article (see Revision history link for oldest), just working on it. It would have been ultra if I had thought of creating it, but I didn't. Someone else did years ago! Cheerio, Northamerica1000(talk) 12:48, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Heh. Are you feeling OK? :) I'm pretty sure this topic is covered under dead man's switch and dead man's trigger should redirect to that page. Why do you think it is "effectively the opposite"? Viriditas (talk) 03:08, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
- I know. What was I thinking? :) Let's redirect it at once. Hahaha. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:22, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
- I was a little spaced out yesterday. I think I thought a dead man's switch was about a device that when triggered would prevent harm, and was only a physical device. I guess I didn't read the article very thoroughly. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 14:15, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

You are a Golden Editor!
Good as gold! | |
After I asked for some other editors to provide email nominations for my still-rather-new Golden Editor Award, My76Strat sent me an email nominating you and speaking very highly of your contributions and your conduct. I didn't have to look around very long before I agreed that you are a Golden Editor. Your very impressive content work (over 40 DYKs, over 1500 articles created) could be seen as reason enough to give you the award. However, I don't want to overlook the "friendly spirit" that was also recognized when you were appropriately deemed "Editor of the Week" almost a month ago. All things considered, I am very happy to give you the Golden Editor Award. Congratulations and thank you, AutomaticStrikeout (T • C • Sign AAPT) 18:06, 4 May 2013 (UTC) |

Jinfeng Gold Mine
Heya Anna, how are things? Hope all is well, you are/were under the weather? Myself as well, don't know what it is but I am fighting going to the clinic, it's full of sick people. If you have a moment, could you have a look at Jinfeng Gold Mine? Just moved it to mainspace, and a little short on the DYK front (by about 15 words), I am sure I could punch it up but am lacking sources on extra sections. Was thinking you may know where to look for things on the south side of the wall (I am on the north side for the next two weeks). Also wasn't sure if China is referred to as China or PRC in articles. Cheers, --kelapstick(bainuu) 07:57, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Kelapstick! Long time. :) I'm feeling much better, thanks. The fog is lifting. sorry you're sick. Avoid clinics because they're full of sick people and you could get sick. The same reasoning applies to cemeteries, (although that's probably irrational).
- As for info in the article, it looks good! Googling here will find the same results as where you are. Just punch in the Chinese name and visit some news sites.
- I changed PRC to China in the lede, but left it elsewhere. I'm not sure if that was such a good idea or how to handle the matter. It might be worth leaving it to disambiguate if Taiwan has foreign gold mines. I don't know. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 17:02, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

- And I have to ask, how did you tolerate the noise with your sensitivity to sound? :) Viriditas (talk) 03:41, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
- No, but I'm considering doing a 360 degree video thing for certain subjects, like main intersections. Do you think viewers would get dizzy?
- I'm alright with noise sometimes. It's just when it's too much. I sleep with white noise playing. I think you suggested that. It's like a waterfall and blocks out everything. It's very nice. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 03:45, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

Hey
Hey anna whoever you are, why you are reverting things i change on literacy rate of Nepal. the written there is according to 2001, i did it by looking nepal's 2011 Census. You got any problem??? Look things before your change. Peace — Preceding unsigned comment added by Suraz03 (talk • contribs) 16:13, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hello. I changed back the figures because the first time you modified them, they conflicted with the reference that was there at the time. You added new figures without a new reference. That's the problem. Please read the posts I made at User talk:Suraz03. There I explained exactly what you're asking right here.
- So please don't be upset, but again, please provide sources for the new figures. Your edits are very welcome here, but you must understand that if someone comes along and adds new numbers with no source, we just don't know if they're true. Many thanks, and peace. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:14, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
Kachhwaha
Kindly do proper research as the information you were posting is not relevant . Kindly do not compare kachhwahas (kushwah) with any one of the schedule cast of India. Request you to kindly research properly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Siddhapratap (talk • contribs) 06:59, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
- Actually I didn't post the information. You can remove it if it is not supported by reliable sources. But what you did was to replace it with content that is not supported by reliable sources. I'm pretty sure someone else will remove most of what you added. Among other things, you added:
The Kachhwaha is the prominent Rajput race of India. A clan who had ruled a number of kingdoms and princely states, such as Gwalior , Narwar , Amer , Jaipur , Dausa and many more. They were the courageous fighters , Kind rulers and the one who believe in patriotism.
This content has such issues as formatting (as I pointed out at your talk page), WP:PEACOCK words, grammar, the fact that it seems like opinion, and is unencyclopedic and unsourced. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 07:13, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

Updated Information
Hello Anna,
I have a couple of questions, the first is how I can easily update my recent achievements, how can I include photos or artwork to accompany these news items? (N!CKEGAN (talk) 21:29, 10 May 2013 (UTC)).
- Hi Nick,
- Welcome back. You can click edit at your article and modify the page however you like. Please write neutrally as you have a conflict of interest. Also, try to add some references such as online magazine or newspaper articles. References go like this:
- All bunnies are cute.<ref>http://www.all-about-rabbits.com</ref>
- As for images, you can upload them here. Keep in mind that they will enter the public domain. If you want to show your work at Wikipedia but don't want people to have high-resolution versions, then consider uploading low resolution versions. These will appear sharp in the article, but will not be worth much at a larger size.
- If the images appear elsewhere in the media, ownership may be questioned. If that happens, you can send in a permission form to Wikicommons to let them know it's yours and it's okay to publish. That's easy peasy.
- Good luck, and let me know if you need further help. I'm always around. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 21:46, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

- Thank you, my friend. I like your species eaten section. You should try camel and ostrich. Camel is dreadful but could probably be cooked well (I had it boiled and it was tough as boots). Ostrich is like a big, delicious, bloody, tender filet mignon. Very tasty but the portions are too big. Monkey is very delicious, but the skin looks too human, and so is a bit sickening. Bear is very good with nice fat content. Python turns into long strings in soup and tastes very good. I've eaten a number of even stranger things, some I'm ashamed to mention. Tell me, how is crocodile? I've always wanted to try that. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 22:17, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- I just realized I need to go list camel, which I've tried once...anyway, crocodile is very different from alligator though perhaps it was the preparation. Alligator tail, when fried, is really similar to chicken in my experience. Crocodile, which I had in thick strips, was almost the same a beef but tougher. Neither of them had a taste which I could describe uniquely as their own, though if you're ever in Amsterdam then there are two separate South African restaurants which you can find in Lonely Planet. Highly recommended. Now, if I could just find a place that serves ostrich somewhere in the world... MezzoMezzo (talk) 02:56, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
- I will have to try those when I can.

Weight Mate Forklifts
Anna,
It looks like you uploaded an article about Allis Chalmers Weight Mate forklift (http://speedydeletion.wikia.com/wiki/weightmate). I am looking for some documentation because I just bought one. Since Allis Chalmers went out of business in 1985 documentation is hard to come by.
Any help of guidance at to where you got the article would be appreciated.

Alumni pages
Hi,
I couldn't help but noticed that there are several very short alumni pages on Sri Lankan schools. In fact I moved one that I had created myself some time back. What do you make of these;
- List of St. Thomas' College, Matara alumni
- List of St. John's College, Jaffna people
- List of Jaffna Hindu College people
- List of Jaffna Central College people
- List of Hartley College people
- List of Dharmapala Vidyalaya alumni

- What I said at User talk:Wo2gana#List of alumni applies to all of those. A Flickr caution
A caution using flickr images: If you find a really nice image that's too good to be true, you should look at other images uploaded from that user's account. If they are all from one camera then it's likely a safe bet. If the images are all different styles and from different cameras, then it's likely that the uploader doesn't actually own them. I've been an editor for more than six years and I still know nothing about image policies. Not a thing. So if I've contributed to an article and I want to upload an image which will be useful to readers who want to know about the subject...I mean, where do I learn about this? Most policy pages about images are huge and intimidating. Take Abu Abd al-Rahman Ibn Aqil al-Zahiri, for example (living person). I found this image of him from his official site and these from various newspapers. Do these count as fair use or common use or whatever it is? How do I know? I just found your suggestion on Talk:List of educational institutions in Hyderabad (Pakistan). It looks like a good idea to me. There are other similar lists with the same problem. Do you want to start pruning, or shall I? bobrayner (talk) 16:22, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- An oldie but a goodie. 189 edits since then. It's still a bit of a mess. I don't know where to start. Maybe we could link the lot with a macro in a sandbox to see what comes up blue, then zap what doesn't. Then again, we could just walk away from it because all of these are potentially notable and potentially sourcable. Maybe just a cleanup instead of a prune. Thoughts? List of cities in China and built-up areas
Hi Anna,
As you probably know, there are numerous ways of counting city populations which lead to impossibility of compraing agglomerations (not cities) between them. Some countries like France use the built-up area method which consist by aerial views delimiting agglomeration according to built-up area adjusted to local government Areas (http://www.insee.fr/fr/methodes/default.asp?page=definitions/unite-urbaine.htm)
For numerous countries, this doesn't exist particularly china whereas there are more than 200 "cities" or "shi" apparently with more than a million inhabitants ven though the areas describes are not comparable. This list i change, as same as the other articles on cities systematically refers tobuilt-up areaswhich are comparable between countries. Each change is checked with : - aerial views issued in (www.citypopulation.de) where for numerous countries, you can se Local Governement Areas (LGA) and sources directly on census websites, - datas issued by www.citypopulation.de. For most of the Chinese cities (http://www.citypopulation.de/China.html), it matches with geohive figures (http://www.geohive.com/cntry/cn-32.aspx) but this site allow to get accurate figures for LGA not available for all cities - statisticals found on wikipedia sometimes about each census.
Moreover the work i do for years now is also based on excel charts for each country and cities with each LGA available. Thank you in advance thus not to remove material which is unique and allow wiki users comparing agglomerations with the same definition. Franck MICHEL — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.157.231.40 (talk) 20:17, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Franck MICHEL,
- I'm really sorry about all of this, and I trust you are acting in good faith. I think it's best to hear what the Wikipedia community says. Personally, I think the figures must come directly from official sources or not be included in the articles. Both www.citypopulation.de and http://www.geohive.com/contact.aspx are not reliable, although www.citypopulation.de says it gets the info from government sources, so it's better. But then why not use the same sources as they use?
- The issue of measuring agglomerations is tricky, but again, official sources for figures and definitions are best.
- I'm curious why, after being cautioned about not adding sources in January 2013, you continued. Please explain that.
- It's probably best that you stop adding these figure until this matter is resolved. Please keep an eye on this thread: User talk:Qwyrxian#Massive.2C unsourced figure modifications to articles
- Best wishes,
Hi Anna,
What do you mean by "until this matter is resolved"?.
Anyway, I find it a pity not being able to put forward to wiki users a very important amount of work for all built-up areas (thousands of charts!) in the world. maybe, it'll be possible to create a new list on List of agglmerations by built-up areas. This would solve the problem and may help to be updated by other users.
For the sourcing, it's just because I didn't know how to do until soon. Moreover, it's easier to get souces in the same website with people which avec compiled the datas in a language understandable by all (English vs russian, Hindi or Chinese...). Even if sometimes geohive or citypopulation.de de could appear inaccurate, in most case it's a lot better than "official" site which compare cities definitions that not comparable as for example municipal juridictions one one side and agglomerations based on different methodologies by country on the other. It's absolutely the case for UNO her : http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_urban_agglomerations_by_population_%28United_Nations%29 For India my sources are (http://www.census2011.co.in/census/city/) where they distinguish the city population and the one of its agglomeration or built-up area.
The work I do, using the most accurate sources on the web, is unique and I hope you'll help me to create this new listing as you did with a listing made from citypopulation charts which are calculation and proved totally unofficial and you use : http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_agglomerations_by_population
I hope you'll understand and take into account what I'm saying because it would be a pity not to let the wiki users not benefit of accurate and updates statisticals about chinese built-up areas cities (http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_cities_in_China_by_population). - Hi Franck MICHEL,
- Is your first name Michel? I'm not sure. :)
- What I mean by "until this matter is resolved" is that I may not know best, and you may not know best. We must trust the community. They will give their opinions, and that's how this should be resolved. I and another editor dispute the use of these sources, and I strongly object to the addition of any figures with no sources. But, we may be wrong. Maybe, in the case of agglomerations, the definitions are so fuzzy that your sources are fine. I don't know. But, what we must do is wait for the community to give feedback. So, until then, which shall be soon, please take a short break. We must work by consensus here. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 21:23, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi there, I would like to explain why I have moved the page.
Earlier the page was named "Visakhapatnam" (విశాఖపట్నం). The transliteration for letter 'శా' is 'śa'(most indians use 'sha' instead of 'śa') but old page has the spelling Vi'sa'khapatnam.
So, I mentioned in the article "(also spelled as Vishakhapatnam)" and moved the page to "Viśakhapatnam" so that it will be familiar to the people who spell it 'Visakhapatnam' or 'Vishakhapatnam' and also phonetically correct.
It takes lot of time and effort to do all this and I am doing this to make the article better and give users better understanding.

- A nice man said I could use images from the website, but I told him that those would be removed as copyvios. I asked if he could email me some, but he never did. That's pretty much it. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 13:12, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
- I see. I will try again and explain all the 'photographer must release under free licence through OTRS' stuff. I just created http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Canoe1967/Sculptors that should help us get more statue images. It seems many don't understand our copyright issues. Thanks for trying btw.--Canoe1967 (talk) 14:09, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
- It was worth the try. Good work with the sculptors thing. I trust it will yield good results. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 15:12, 20 May 2013 (UTC)

Another new article...
Hi There! I just created a new article based on those pictures at the article request area, well as you already know I started creating some of those pages, and I made another one. If you are free, and have nothing to do you can visit the new page I just created Rhynchocinetes uritai, and so far it's okay, just needs some cleanup. Cheers! JackFrost2121(Frostbitten?/ My Work) 00:51, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Well done, again! It looks great. Those have been sitting there for ages, so it's fantastic that you've come along and made them into articles. I will repopulate the table soon.
- Look at a few other species articles to see how to enter the last few lines of the taxobox. What's missing is the species binomial and authority.
- Have you heard of WP:DYK? It's right up your alley. You can get your article talked about on the Main Page, which gets 10 million page visits a day.
- Keep up the good work. You are exactly what everyone wants to see in a new editor. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 07:01, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Updates to my collaboration page
Entries at my Article collaboration page have been updated with page view links in the right columns. This makes it easy to check out page hits with one click. BTW, compare the page views for List of hors d'oeuvre, before and after descriptions were added. Quite the jump. (Not trying to brag, just demonstrating the value of how completed list articles corresponds with higher readership rates.) Happy editing! Northamerica1000(talk) 12:10, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Templates and pix
Hi Anna, Thanks for your note on the Template:Forestry. I've been on a minor project, inspired by User:Epipelagic, to add appropriate images to some of the navigation templates that I've contributed to. If you have a moment, go to my user page and expand all of the first set of navigation templates there, for comparison. Let me know what you think. Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 13:16, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Phew! I thought I was going to have to actually expand those. :) Well, they look good. My personal view is that navboxes should try to stay small, but if they get big, then they can split into two or more. Also, the bigger the navbox, the more an image becomes a cosmetic luxury that's expendable. But that's just me. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 13:56, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. I agree with you in principle. I will think about how to consolidate the larger ones... Kind regards, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 14:13, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello Anna
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
Sorry for the bother again :(.
Accordig to this discussion Talk:Morleigh_Steinberg#Image, you said you could email someone if we provide you an address to get a picture of Morleigh. See, the thing is that I am working for the improvent of Morleigh's article, to get it to B-Class and later to A-Class and finally GA-Class.
The question is can you email numb@info.ie (that's the information email for u2) and request a free question?? I don't know if that is legal, just let me know... Thanks Miss Bono (zootalk) 17:03, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure it's legal. I sent an email to them just now asking them to forward the image request letter to Morleigh Steinberg. I'm not sure if it will find her. I also sent an email to her via the Arcane Collective. That has better chances, but I'm not too hopeful, and sometimes if they do send a photo, it takes ages. I will let you know if I get a reply. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 17:18, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks Anna for all your help. I hope not to get in troubles for that. Let's cross our fingers. Miss Bono (zootalk) 17:22, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Really, don't worry. There can't possibly be a law against sending someone an email asking for a photo. But, bad news: The email just bounced back with "Technical details of permanent failure: DNS Error: Domain name not found". I think that's fancy talk for "No such address". Anna Frodesiak (talk) 17:27, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Try again info@numb.ie. That's the one! :) Miss Bono (zootalk) 17:30, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Done. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 17:35, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Dis it work¿¿ I am always remebering the emails the other way round. Same happened with the email of a friend of mine and I had been emailing him for two month to the wrong direction and the annoying warning: "Technical details of permanent failure: DNS Error: Domain name not found" kept appearing til I remembered the right address ;) Miss Bono (zootalk) 18:55, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- It didn't come back, so I guess it found its destination. Now comes the waiting part. Fingers crossed. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:00, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

- From Morleigh Morleigh?????? can you send me the email address to which you sent the mail to Morleigh via email??? Pleaseeee. Miss Bono (zootalk) 14:32, 22 May 2013 (UTC)

Actually, conveying anything other than the gist of the email would be inappropriate. I don't want to invade her privacy. Please remember that this is only about inquiring about an image for the article. We should really call this case closed. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 14:52, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- I don't want her email for other inappropriate uses. I just wanted to have it. I don't want to invade her privacy either. I promise to call it "Case Closed", just want the address due to i don't have access to any place where I can get it like you folks. Miss Bono (zootalk) 14:58, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but what I just stated above is really the bottom line for me. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 15:06, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
Sorry
- Ok, don't worry. I understand. I guess I can find the email somewhere at the Arcane Collective when I have 10 dollars in my hand to pay for an hour of Internet. Anyway, thank you so much for all your help. You'll have to teach me how you do that. Maybe I can do the same thing with Ali Hewson. I want to do something by myself. Do you have any suggestions for me? PS: Can I email you to ask you a question I cannot ask via Wikipedia?? Miss Bono (zootalk) 15:12, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- Don't be sorry. I try to be straightforward with people. The image thing to me has a very limited scope: I email, they usually reply, maybe I assist in uploading, maybe I inform an editor that an image may be forthcoming, and that's it. No copy pasting email content verbatim. No handing out email addresses. I am just thinking of this from their point of view, and what I would consider appropriate if it were me.
- So, if you want to email me asking for someone's email, please don't because I won't give it out. If someone is nice enough to provide an image, or even reply with an explanation, then I'm grateful and call it case closed. I hope you understand. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 15:33, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- I emailed you but not asking you for anyone else's email. Miss Bono (zootalk) 15:36, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- Though I would like to do the same thing you did with Morleigh but with Ali Hewson, as I said before. Can you teach me how to do that? I just want to be useful. And I want to feel the satisfaction of receiving an email from a person I admire (like is the case of Steinberg and Ali) the last has made a great job by helping people who needs it and I love that...
So if you can teach me how can I be like you, girl! You are amazing by doing this things and the best part is that you are successful in that. Miss Bono (zootalk) 15:38, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- please, reply my email via wikipedia, as soon as possible. Miss Bono (zootalk) 15:57, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- Well, really it's nothing too special, and neither am I. I just send them an email saying that their article could use an image. If the ownership of the image may be in question then I ask them to fill out this form and send it in: User:Anna Frodesiak/OTRS
- If you do write to people as a "Wikipedian", please make sure that it's just about inquiring about an image. I know you're a fan of these groups, but one mustn't use the "Wikipedian" thing to try to establish anything social. That wouldn't be proper. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 16:07, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- Firsts of all. I might be the biggest U2 fan in the world but I know how to behave in such circumstances. I can be all business when the situation requires so. Don't worry, my problem is finding the emails of these people. It can be hard. That's why I am asking you to teach me. I've already saved the letter you gave me for future uses. Miss Bono (zootalk) 16:38, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- You seem very smart. I think if you just do research, you can track down people's emails. When you write to them, just be direct and polite and ask if they would be so kind as to provide an image. Easy as that. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 07:30, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

- Is there any pattern to follow for asking for images?? (Like the subject of the email??) And why do you say I seem smart.
- PS: Whenever you can, please, ask User:Cullen328 about my Internet Access. he can explain it better than me (I mean he is an English Native speaker) ;).
- PS2:I sent you an email this morning, please reply here, cuz I am not able to see your respond in my email account. Thanks.
- PS3:Are you still mad at me about my Morleigh's email request??
- PS4: How many PS can I add to a letter¿?¿¿ :D
- Is there any pattern to follow for asking for images?? (Like the subject of the email??) And why do you say I seem smart.
And again, if I am bothering you, just shut me up. Miss Bono (zootalk) 15:05, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- Follow any pattern that makes sense to you. You seem smart for too many reasons to mention here.
- I'm not sure exactly what to ask User:Cullen328. I gather it's about you having some sort of restricted or expensive access, right?
- I only see one email from you, and that email asked for something I cannot give.
- You can add a vast number of PSs, but the questions is should you? :)
- I'm not mad at you. But, I am just a bit worried that you'll start emailing people for images with the intention of establishing social contact, which could turn out to be a disaster. My wish is for you to suffer memory loss in that whole area. :)
- You are not bothering me. I am always happy to help you in ways that help the project.
- Don't worry Anna, as I said: I can be all business when the situation requires so (And I don't think that bombarding Ali's email it is helpful). I won't go all over people's emails asking them for images, I am not that crazy :O though I seem like one. I will do things just for Wikipedia's well and even if I have to wait 4 years to get a pict from I'll wait, but without pressing her at all... I hope Morleigh sees her new article and she likes it.
Thanks for thinking I am smart (don't know whether you think of it as a good thing or not), but thanks, anyway.
Again, DO NOT worry. I am not crazy. I won't deny that I would really love having receive an email from Morleigh, but...well what can I do??. I hope having success with Alison. The matter of my Internet access was explained for me in a comment below (on the Guestbook thread). So. I think before you read and respond this comment you should close it too. I will keep you informed if i contact Ali, for asking you for help. PS: sorry about my English, if you don't understand something I had said just ask. PS2:I love your user page, very nice job. I am still guessing how you make links of the portraits :) Best wishes. Miss Bono (zootalk) 13:09, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you. And, okay, I trust you. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 22:08, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

I know you're busy with other matters (per my talk page), but if you have time in the future, or are interested in performing repetitive tasks, I'm working to improve List of chocolate bar brands (check views). I've added an images column and I'm in the process of adding images. Eventually, I'll likely add references, improve descriptions, copy edit, etc. Northamerica1000(talk) 17:57, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- I love macro/repetitive tasks. Please let me know what you would like. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 07:27, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- More images would be great. I've added many, but more may be available (e.g. Commons, Flickr). Northamerica1000(talk) 16:30, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- Why does this sound so familiar. I think I actually tried to add images once and bailed out because all I could find were non-free images. I remember not being able to find many. I think it was List of chocolate bar brands but am not sure. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:31, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

- So you don't like facbook?? Miss Bono (zootalk) 17:07, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- It's blocked in China, thankfully. I guess it is good to help find old friends, but once found, they should be communicated with in person, or at least via skype. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:31, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

New
Hi, I'm new. I am going on random usernames. I am trying to get friends. I have a thing on the bottom of my talk page that says Friends could you please add your username there so I feel part of something? Hulkster1 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hulkster1 (talk • contribs) 01:13, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- Well, I don't really know yet. But we could make friends. Maybe we could work on something together. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 07:27, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- Anna, This new editor needs to be (re) directed. It looks there are potential issues here with this user as well; From the contribs, there seems to be a language issue, maybe an age issue (possible minor), or maybe those items are both indicative of a cognitive development issue. In any event, the contribs consist of an extremely poor AFC submission (where the user did not seem to understand why the article was declined and tried to resubmit it the next day), a few small edits, and massive spamming of barnstars to any user who has ever posted to the user's talk, including several bots. This is all the space of a week. I do not believe that this user has set out to be intentionally disruptive, but the pattern of editing is not aiding the encyclopedia. Some of the comments seem to indicate the user's desire to use WP as a social outlet, which is fine, as long as that isn't the only thing that the user is doing, but that in fact appears to be the case. JackFrost2121(Frostbitten?/ My Work) 20:30, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- I have edited an article, Michael Yarmush and Christian Tessier. And no, I would never hurt someone. I am a very sensitive person and joined wiki only 1 week ago and don't really know what to do. Sorry if I am doing something wrong. Hulkster1. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hulkster1 (talk • contribs) 00:32, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
- I didn't mean to say you were going to hurt anyone, I was just outlining the information that you were using Wikipedia as a social site, and that you are an editor under the age of 18 and possibly a young child. Though you can still contribute to articles on Wikipedia, though you seem to not understand on how to edit, maybe these should help: WP:GFYA, WP:POLICY, WP:HEP, and WP:TP (Click these links) also please remember to put in the four tidles when posting messages on Talk Pages. Thanks JackFrost2121(Frostbitten?/ My Work) 00:46, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
Response
JackFrost2121
Thank you for raising this issue. Perhaps there were a bunch of articles he created that were deleted that I cannot see, but his contributions don't seem too far out of line. He's a newcomer and just needs a bit of guidance, I think. Please comment on contributions and avoid statemtents like "cognitive development". Other observations you make do seem to be true. I will respond to that below. Cheers, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:48, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
Hulkster1
Welcome. And, you are very welcome here. Please understand that being here is all about improving the encyclopedia. Some want to fight vandalism. Some want to do other things. What you ought to do is exactly what JackFrost2121 does (mainly), and that is add content to articles.
Please, please avoid millions of talk page posts sending love and barnstars. It's appreciated, but what's needed and more appreciated is building the encyclpedia.
So, where should you start? Easy, read up on how to edit. Perhaps even more valuable is to inspect random articles. See how they're written, the style, the way references are added, the formatting. Consider starting by going to an article (perhaps an actor's article) and finding a fact that has no reference. Then google it. Find a news media website that speaks of it. Add that website as a reference to support that fact. Maybe you could add some new facts about something with an accompanying reference.
This is really the best place to get your feet wet, and you will get the community's respect and love. Let me know if you need help. I'm around. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:48, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
Okay
Thanks, maybe I did get a little carried away, by sending all of those barnstars. And you are right Jack Frost, I am young. I'm only 18. I think it is that I'm new and all that and I am excited. Whenever I get a massage, oops, message I try not to jump out of my seat. I am funny though, If you couldn't tell. But yes, I'll start editing articles right away! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hulkster1 (talk • contribs) 01:08, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Speedy Deleted?
Hi there, I created another article; NGC 5566 (also seen on the requested image section) and i'm worried if its too short an the fact that it will get deleted, it has only 3 references and a small section of text, will it get speedy deleted, PROD or nominated for deletion? Thanks JackFrost2121(Frostbitten?/ My Work) 02:36, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
- Never mind a kind user reviewed it! if anything comes up I will ask you for help. Cheers! JackFrost2121(Frostbitten?/ My Work) 02:46, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

Articles
Hi, I am doing two articles that I would like to be reviewed and published. They are called Tony Delvichio and Pete Wheeler. (Hulkster1 (talk) 03:47, 30 May 2013 (UTC))
- Regarding Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Pete Wheeler and Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Tony Delvichio, the biggest concern is the notability of them. Please see: WP:GNG. It basically says that you must find media sources (not wikis or blogs) that discuss the subject in detail. I'm not sure your articles pass GNG. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:39, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
- This is one of the reasons why I haven't been doing that many articles, I keep messing up! Hulkster1 (talk) 02:04, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
- Don't worry, I mess up all the time. :) Actually, don't think of it as messing up. It's just a question of notability. When considering a subject, look to see if it already has an article, or could be a section within an article. Check google to see if it passes WP:GNG. If all is well, then it's probably okay to become an article. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:20, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

I have a huge prblem
I need your help or advice. Cullen328 and myself were writting an email (first working on a draft) to send it to Arcanecollective (the user) because he had enabled the "email me" action, but now neither that action appear in the toolbox nor I can send email... what happen?? Please reply asap. Thanks Miss Bono (zootalk) 12:09, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hmmmmm, I don't know. Maybe that user doesn't want to be contacted. May I ask for the thread discussing why you're trying to contact Arcanecollective? Thanks, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 14:20, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
- Take a look at please this is a copy of the email that Cullen328 and myself were working on. Miss Bono (zootalk) 14:27, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks. I think I'll step back from this one, if that's okay. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 14:45, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
- May I ask you something... do you think that's wrong? (about the email) If you think so, then I will totally step back. I would appreciate your thoughts. Miss Bono (zootalk) 15:23, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
- You can probably guess what my opinion is, and why. User:Cullen328 is an experienced editor. You should discuss this with him. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 15:37, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

So, you are saying it is wrong. I get it. (I can't read your mind though, so please confirm what I said)... You know I will do what all of you think is right Miss Bono (zootalk) 15:40, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
Are you there? Miss Bono (zootalk) 16:04, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
I am stepping back from it. Miss Bono (zootalk) 16:30, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

Back for more Botany
It's been almost exactly a year. I came back to see if we can make the botany article better. If you have ideas, let me know. I hope you are well.512bits (talk) 23:00, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hmmmm, I don't know what to suggest, but I'm very pleased that you're back. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:13, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
Thanks
You were right, I had no right to get angry at Jack. Thankyou very much for sticking up to me, but I just don't feel happy anymore. I'm suprised that Jack would ever be that angry! Tell him that I'm not going to be on for a few days, get back ASAP thanks Hulkster1 (talk) 04:04, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
- I'm glad it's all sorted out. Now, my advice about editing: Consider starting that spider article. Better still, inspect random articles. See how they're written. Make small edits here and there. Add a bit of content. Add a reference or two. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 06:36, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
Hi, just letting you know I'm taking your advice. I'm going on random articles and peer editing them. Hulkster1 (talk) 16:00, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

What's it called?
Hi there! what's that link that shows how many edits I've done? Hulkster1 (talk) 02:36, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Special:Contributions/Hulkster1 shows a list of your recent edits. At the bottom should be a link to Edit count. You can also see your edit count in Special:Preferences. bobrayner (talk) 03:10, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- Exactly. See the red part? That's what you want to make really, really big, just like this superstar. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 03:32, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
Wait, so you see everything I edit and do, if so, why? Hulkster1 (talk) 10:25, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- This project is transparent. We can all watch each other's edits. We do that to learn, assist, and cooperate. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 18:30, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Hello Anna!
Hi again. Hope is everything good for you. I've been working on translations of two articles to the Spanish Wikipedia. I was wondering if you have already been contact again for a picture from Morleigh? Miss Bono (zootalk) 17:19, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- No contact. As I said, she told me that she'd upload one herself when she finds one she likes. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 18:30, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, no problem. I am going through a hug anxiety attack due to a crazy user who was making some harassment to me. I am thinking about leaving. Miss Bono (zootalk) 18:35, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Don't panic. Don't worry. Is this about editing User:OneMadScientist's userpage? If it's that, just say sorry and that you didn't know and all will be well. It's no big deal. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:03, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- I did but he erased my comment, logged out and now he is threating Cullen328 on his talk page. Stop by my talk and see the last discussion. Miss Bono (zootalk) 19:06, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

- Really, just walk away from that editor. Editing someone's userpage is a no-no, but you didn't know. Just don't do it again, and disengage. Really, really, this is no big deal. Don't stress about it. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:17, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for your friendship and advice Anna. Do you think he will come after me?? Miss Bono (zootalk) 19:18, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Come after you???? There's no such thing at Wikipedia. He could report you at WP:AN/I but the case would get laughed out of town. Hahahaha don't worry! Just drop the matter and carry on as though nothing happened. Really, trust me. This is no big deal. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:24, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you. I was thinking as he was a hacker or smthg and would take this personally...you know. Miss Bono (zootalk) 19:25, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Impossible. Don't worry. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:27, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

- Good to hear. And if it makes you feel any better, this whole thing has been blown out of proportion. Also, User:OneMadScientist's edits appear to be somewhat worrisome to me. Registered only a month ago, he's already been blocked for personal attacks or harassment, and has made 30 article edits out of a total of 569. I hope he shifts his focus from talk pages to the mainspace and starts really building the encyclopedia. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:48, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

- Yes, you mentioned that. User:OneMadScientist with such posts and offensive edit summaries is heading down a path that may get him blocked. Others will handle that. You must think of what you want. Drama? To be involved? Certainly not. You wish to disengage, right? Yes. Forget the whole thing. There is nothing more boring and trivial than drama at Wikipedia. Please, turn your attention elsewhere. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 20:08, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Can you answer the question here about "getting ready for featured". Thank you.512bits (talk) 00:34, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Like I said here User talk:Anna Frodesiak/archive35#Back for more Botany, I don't think I can offer anything. So sorry. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 18:30, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Oh, ok. I thought since it was a generic wiki procedural question and not botany specific, that you might know.512bits (talk) 00:59, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- Ah, okay, I read the question better. Actually, you and the others are reading the same guidelines as me. Plus, I have no experience with good articles and the review process. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:02, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
The new me
Hi there! Hulkster2 (talk) 23:32, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Okay. I strongly suggest that you stick with this new one and abandon the old and don't make a third one. Now, think red! :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:34, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Just one thing, how do you get the link that shows it? Hulkster2 (talk) 00:45, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- Shows what? You can write and make links about anything you want at your page. By the way, you are really at the beginning with your first account. If I were you, I would forget about hulkster2 and stick with the old one. Just start to make lots and lots of edits to the encyclopedia as Hulkster2 and watch the red get bigger and bigger. Changing accounts as you did really wasn't necessary. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:57, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Noticing this comment compels me to chime in. I have to agree with Anna here. I once reviewed a new creation by Hulkster1 and remember it being in particularly good order. It makes no rationale sense to abandon those good contributions for what appears to me as a misconception; you are far more useful as an editor asking questions than you would be asking forgiveness for mistakes made where you probably should have asked. So there you go; you are now 2 cent's closer to a cup of coffee than you were moments ago. Cheers.--My76Strat (talk) 03:44, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Anna, does Jackfrost2121 have a brother? Hulkster1 (talk) 01:31, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- I don't know. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:20, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Well this user named PBASH something like that said he was his brother. I didn't buy it. I'm sure Jack is that person. Hulkster1 (talk) 02:57, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- Why do you care? This isn't a social networking site. This is an encyclopedia. Please try to edit articles and pay less attention to who's who. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 03:09, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Sorry, I'll shut up. Hulkster1 (talk) 03:48, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- The "PBASH" post above was originally signed as "Tucker2006 (talk) 02:53, 7 June 2013 (UTC)". You removed that signature and put yours in instead. Is that account also yours? Are there others still? Please explain. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:38, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
My real name is Tucker, and hulkster2 and Tucker2006 are the only 2. I've had Tucker2006 for a while Hulkster1 (talk) 10:42, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- Okay. I do urge you to keep it simple. Now, we look forward to seeing lots of your edits to the encyclopedia. Oh, and please review User talk:Hulkster1#Indent Your Posts. Thanks, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:55, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Very nice
Hello Anna. From the first time I noticed your edits, I have been operating under the complete notion that your name was the real name of a female user with some form of German heritage. Only today did it occur to me that it is so obviously not a German name, but rather one of the best linguistic illusions I have ever seen. So now, not only do you have one of the very best user pages, you definitely take the entire cake for the best user name; ever. Please don't tell me it is your German birth name.--My76Strat (talk) 05:30, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- Ha ha ha ha. :) You are definitely the last editor to figure that one out! :) And it's an old made-up nickname, not Germanic, (but it sounds Polish). Anna Frodesiak (talk) 07:24, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

I would happily co-nom, but that would be entirely up to you :) Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 23:47, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- In my opinion, you would be an excellent candidate, Anna. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 01:01, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you kindly. I'm still trying to figure out who's and why's of co-noms. Is there a page on that? :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:44, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- Anna, I would think the ideal number of nominators would be 2-3. I saw a page with this on it one time, but for the life of me cannot find it. I only offered to nom to support Dennis's assertion that you could have 60; I don't think you actually should pick me over any of the others who have offered ... I will still support very early with a strong statement in that section. At this point, you really can't go wrong with any of the people who have offered. If you had Moonriddengirl, Dennis, and Kudpung, that would probably be the most respected trifecta in recent RfA history. It's up to you. Good luck. Go Phightins! 12:27, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Miss Bono's talk page, and my pages
Hello Anna,
As it seems that OMS has chosen the path of trolling, vandalism and sockpuppetry. I am concerned about attacks on Miss Bono's talk page in the next ten hours. I am grateful for any attention you can offer, and I appreciate your help protecting my pages and hers. Thank you. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 03:55, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
