Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Space (mathematics), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Quotient space (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:55, 1 January 2020 (UTC)

Thanks but your revert was not constructive, as we see history it needs to be sourced...--2605:B100:51C:26D9:C832:827C:5E80:871A (talk) 20:13, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

Hi 1234qwer1234qwer4. The IP editor here is evading a block, and I removed their message per WP:BANREVERT. They've posted similar messages on a dozen or so users' talk pages trying to get them to make a proxy edit for them to an article they've been disrupting for several years. You can keep the message here if you want but it serves no purpose. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 21:52, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Sundayclose. I noticed that you recently removed content from Wookiee without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. A tag has been placed on Girardia (disambigiation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. "Girardia (disambigiation)" listed at Redirects for discussion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the redirect Girardia (disambigiation) should be deleted, kept, or retargeted. It will be discussed at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2020 March 25#Girardia (disambigiation) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines. "Kentucky Routes 502" listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Kentucky Routes 502. Since you had some involvement with the Kentucky Routes 502 redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. Thryduulf (talk) 10:26, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Hello, 1234qwer1234qwer4

Thank you for creating Carlos Henrique Hernández.

User:Rosguill, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

I know you've declined in the past, but I really think that you're exactly the kind of editor that should be added to the redirect whitelist. According to xtools, of the 1,606 redirects you've created, exactly 2 have been deleted, one of which was a G7 and thus doesn't really count.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@Rosguill: Thanks for the reminder. I was really taking the time of new page reviewers; you can add me to the list again. (also thanks for the unexpected bombardment of my inbox) 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 12:53, 5 April 2020 (UTC)

Greek category sort keys

Regarding your question in the edit summary. Sometimes, Greek letters are used in category sort keys to get maintenance categories out of the way in crowded categories. One of those is "υ" (upsilon, displays as "Υ") for user templates. It's ok to leave Category:AutoWikiBrowser user templates as is because it's the only subcat in Category:AutoWikiBrowser templates. —andrybak (talk) 13:15, 18 April 2020 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't know that. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 13:27, 18 April 2020 (UTC)

Re: hatnote in E number

Regarding this revert, firstly: E number (disambiguation) was still linked with my edit. The purpose of my edit was to make a quicker pathway for users looking for e (mathematical constant), as I believe readers are much more likely to have wanted that page than any of the others listed at the dab page. I am open to arguments against my position, though, and I mainly just wanted to point out that the dab page was never unlinked. Sharper {talk} 17:11, 24 April 2020 (UTC)

Improper closure of an Afd

There are only two legitimate entries for Rencong (disambiguation) - Rencong Aceh violates WP:PTM - so I suggest you reopen the discussion. Clarityfiend (talk) 05:02, 28 April 2020 (UTC)

About your edits of my user space pages

Please do not edit my user space pages without at least asking me first. I found your unannounced edits to two sub-pages in my own sandbox ( [1] and [2] ) to be a very rude practice. I've since reverted the edits and re-applied them, but using my own account. Please inform me through my talk page about any edits you wish to make in my user space pages in the future.

Thank you,

Caps

Qwer, thanks for working on fixing over-capitalization, as at Talk:Schlömilch's Series. For simple uncontroversial fixes like this, WP:RMTR is preferred, as it doesn't require attention from others. If we had to have an RM discussion for every article created in Title Case we'd never make much progress. For other (potentially controversial) capitalization issues, we generally list them at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Capital letters#Current, and invite you to do the same. Dicklyon (talk) 00:05, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

  • @Dicklyon: That is the point. I don't know if anything is controversial or not; maybe the literature does capitalise it. I just thought maybe someone would then come here like you and tell me I should have started an RM discussion first. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 05:07, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
My point is that you'll check and see what sources do anyway. If you see it commonly lowercase in sources, and that's like all other similar article title patterns, there's no reason to suspect controversy. Creating articles in Title Case is the most common titling error on WP, and it doesn't need to involve a lot of editors to fix each one. Be WP:BOLD per WP:BRD, and if you get pushback, adjust. Dicklyon (talk) 06:15, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

Random question because I've never met you before

Just curious, why "1234qwer1234qwer4" instead of "1234qwer1234qwer1234"? You don't have to answer me of course :-) but if you do, would you please ping me in your reply here, or leave a note at my talk page? Thank you. Nyttend (talk) 10:46, 9 June 2020 (UTC)

@Nyttend: I have no clue why I've chosen exactly this name six years ago, but I think I wanted my name to be unique after (I think) "1234qwer" was unavailable (at least locally), so I typed in something less regular. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 13:16, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

Hi. You created this and notified me of it, but as far as I can see, you haven't opened a discussion. Do you intend to do so? Deb (talk) 07:14, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Osuolale Farouq

Hello 1234qwer1234qwer4. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Osuolale Farouq, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: claims coverage in reliable source, take it to WP:AFD if you believe it's not sufficient to establish notability. Thank you. SoWhy 08:43, 4 September 2020 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tropical Storm Tasha (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. "15th millennium BCE" listed at Redirects for discussion

Interstellarity (talk) 19:38, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

@Interstellarity: Thanks, I think I had thought about those redirects as well. Please note you are nominating the pages quite fast, so Twinkle edit-conflicts (or, rather, does not edit-conflict) and you will have to restore some of the nominations. 𝟙𝟤𝟯𝟺𝐪𝑤𝒆𝓇𝟷𝟮𝟥𝟜𝓺𝔴𝕖𝖗𝟰 (𝗍𝗮𝘭𝙠) 19:42, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
@1234qwer1234qwer4: I plan on merging these nominations into one discussion. I'll go slower when I nominate these pages. Interstellarity (talk) 19:45, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
@Interstellarity: That was pretty clear to me, but some nominations were removed altogether when Twinkle added the new nomination to an older version and thus undid the changes that happened in the meantime. 𝟙𝟤𝟯𝟺𝐪𝑤𝒆𝓇𝟷𝟮𝟥𝟜𝓺𝔴𝕖𝖗𝟰 (𝗍𝗮𝘭𝙠) 19:47, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
I would like to nominate all pages that start with numbers that redirect to Last Glacial Maximum and Timeline of human prehistory, and Upper Paleolithic here, here, and here as well. Interstellarity (talk) 19:52, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
