- Remsense, you need to stop posting biased POV edits that have no academic reference sources backing it up. Am I wrong to to say that? I have simply posted a NON-POV edit in accordance with Wikipedia policy guidelines about neutral points of view and supported everything with academic reference sources unlike you who keeps posting biased pov edits with NO REFERENCES to support it. Current requests for reduction in protection level
Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin at their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.
- To find out the username of the admin who protected the page click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page" which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
- Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.
- Requests for removing create protection on redlinked articles are generally assisted by having a draft version of the intended article prepared beforehand.
- If you want to make spelling corrections or add uncontroversial information to a protected page please add {{Edit fully-protected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. If the talk page is protected please use the section below.
Reason: Three years ago, this page was extended-confirmed protected due to an edit war. I talked to the protecting admin and stated that there is zero chance for him to unprotect the article. Would consider downgrading the protection to semi. ScarletViolet tc 11:46, 4 October 2024 (UTC)

Current requests for edits to a protected page
Please request an edit directly on the protected page's talk page before posting here
Ideally, requests should be made on the article talk page rather than here.
- Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add the appropriate template among
{{Edit protected}}
,{{Edit template-protected}}
,{{Edit extended-protected}}
, or{{Edit semi-protected}}
to the article's talk page if you would like to make a change rather than requesting it here. Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed. - Where requests are made due to the editor having a conflict of interest (COI; see Wikipedia:Suggestions for COI compliance), the
{{Edit COI}}
template should be used. - Requests to move move-protected pages should be made at Wikipedia:Requested moves, not here.
- If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
- This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.

Autopatrolled
GnocchiFan has made 5,000+ edits this year alone including seven Good Articles. They make extensive use of WMF Library to improve sourcing and prose. I believe they are both an excellent editor and also communicator, evident at sensitive article topics at 1984 anti-Sikh riots and Gender and sexual minorities in the Ottoman Empire. In short, let's reduce NPP backlog by giving them auto-patrolled status. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 12:11, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
Seems to be an experienced content creator whose creations are no longer in need of input from NPP. They don't have a clean record of their articles being kept at AfD, but the last deletion was a year and half and 60 articles ago, and looking through a random sampling of their work since then doesn't reveal any major issues. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 04:50, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Meets minimum criteria, only one article out of many created has been deleted (in 2015). Mach61 23:06, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Created 55 articles, none of which were deleted, including BLPs. I believe granting the AP flag to this editor will benefit NPP reviewers by reducing the backlog. GrabUp - Talk 16:00, 30 September 2024 (UTC)

I saw my username on the Wikipedia database reports and found out I was eligible for the autopatrolled privilege. I've made lots of articles about Indian politicians recently and will continue to do so in the future. I'm a trusted user with lots of rights including NPP and fully familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I also have the redirect autopatrol pseudoright, and I'd like to request the autopatrolled right in order to reduce the reviewing workload of new page patrollers. Thank you, Waqar💬 20:02, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
I have almost 25,000 edits, of which 98.9% are still live and have created 49 articles of which only one has been deleted, and that was a naming error on my part. I am a member of New Page Patrol as of September 2024. I am familiar with Wikipedia guidelines for both creation and deletion of articles. I would like to request autopatrol rights. Demt1298 (talk) 15:13, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
I am requesting autopatrol rights as I have been an active contributor since my account was unblocked. During this time, I have created multiple articles that adhere to Wikipedia's content policies and guidelines. My contributions focus on history and education, and I take care to ensure thorough referencing and proper formatting in every article. I believe autopatrol rights would help reduce the workload for patrollers, as my work consistently meets Wikipedia's standards. I would appreciate your consideration of this request. New page reviewer
I would like to request my NPP temporary approval be made permanent. It is currently set to expire on October 3. I initially requested this level of access to learn more about Wikipedia as a whole and take part in the September backlog drive. With the extended access I have learned more about the use of the Twinkle gadget and have requested notification access to article alerts for WikiProjects I participate in. I have worked to increase my participation in AFD and AFC. I have also used the CSD process for articles that meet the speedy deletion guidelines. I have began use of the copyvio process for evaluating pages and started adding links to foreign language articles about the same subject. I have enjoyed the work I have done during this time and hope to be able to continue to help my fellow editors grow knowledge on Wikipedia. Demt1298 (talk) 13:09, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
Requesting for renewal of permissions after being given a two-month trial by Rosguill. Rosguill's feedback was very helpful, and this time around I have been very careful with reviewing new pages, making sure that the only ones that are reviewed are properly sourced, non-promotional articles, while problematic new pages are draftified or nominated for deletion with care. Florificapis (talk) 08:17, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
Hi, requesting to see if my permissions can be extended so that I can continue to help out. I enjoyed dabbling in this through the Sept NPP drive and definitely learned some things and would like to continue to do. Thinking of also pairing this by contributing in AFD and AFC as well. Thanks. Eucalyptusmint (talk) 01:37, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
Recently received temporary NPR rights for the backlog drive, and believe my trial period went quite well, so I'm requesting them be made permanent so I can continue reviewing articles. Thanks, Lordseriouspig 09:09, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
I have been a registered user on Wikipedia for several years, with over 500 undeleted mainspace edits. I possess a strong understanding of content policies and guidelines, supported by my experience in quality control processes. I have actively participated in deletion processes like AfD, PROD, and CSD, contributed to Articles for Creation, and written new articles. I maintain a solid track record of interacting civilly and constructively with other editors, especially newcomers. I have no active behavioral blocks or 3RR violations within the last 6 months, and I am committed to reviewing pages solely on a volunteer basis. Imad_J (talk) 13:26, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
I was given a 3-month trial which will expire on October 10 and I would like to continue reviewing new articles and redirects. Note: I recently participated in September 2024 NPP backlog drive. Pinging Ganesha811 who said to ping them when my trial is about to expire. — YoungForever(talk) 18:18, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I would like to request temporary NPR rights. After reviewing the criteria, I believe I meet the necessary requirements. Could you please confirm if I am eligible? Thank you! EEverest 8848 (talk) 04:34, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
Greetings! I am requesting an extension of my NPP trial or have it made permanent. I was previously given a one-month extension to demonstrate my AfD skills, and in the one-month trial prior to that, I demonstrated my Review and AfC skills. Unfortunately, I have been busy preparing for the Chinese Chemistry Olympiads Finals and have had little time to edit Wikipedia for the past month. Still, I have performed some AfD and have hopefully shown my knowledge in that area. The Finals will be over on November 1st, and I'd have plenty of time to do editing then, which is why I am making this request. Pygos (talk) 07:09, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
Hello. My 1 month NPP trial is set to expire in less than a week. I believe I have performed fairly well in working both redirects and articles. I've recently been working on initiating more AfDs. Requesting a review of my trial's expiration date for an extension or permanent status. Garsh (talk) 18:45, 5 October 2024 (UTC) |

I often move poorly-titled pages to more appropriate titles, usually to make them more WP:CONCISE, specific, neutral, or to correct spelling and transliterations. Pending changes reviewer
Hello hello, I have been a Wikipedian for well over 4 months now, and I feel that I have learned a great many things about the site in terms of editing, content, policies, and conduct that I could have never imagined beforehand. If given this right, I humbly commit to using it to the utmost competent and fair / legitimate nature that I possibly can. Thank you Aliy Dawut (talk) 02:52, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
I have been contributing to pages for three years now, with prior experience in patrolling edit filter log. I would like to get reviewer rights so I can contribute to Wikipedia in more ways than I am able to, presently, and help with the backlog. Since my last request in July, I've been making a track record of communicating collegially with other editors, in my talk page and elsewhere. I hope you'll consider me. Thank you. — hhypeboyh 💬 • ✏️ 23:11, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
I've been doing RC Patrolling (as a part of Anti-Vandalism) on Wikipedia for a while now, and I think that having the Pending Changes reviewer permission could be a good idea - there have been numerous instances involving a pending changes edit that I look at while looking through Special:RecentChanges that i wanted to accept/deny/etc, and i feel that this permission would be beneficial for my efficeincy. DM5Pedia 04:34, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
Hi! I believe that I'd be a good Pending Changes Reviewer, as I have a good amount of time on my hands, and can do monotonous tasks, like denying obvious vandalism, and the like. I meet, what I believe are all the requirements for this right, and humbly ask to receive this privilege. Thanks in advance! Legendbird (talk) 09:06, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Reason for requesting pending changes reviewer rights: I am an Wikipedian for more than three years and part of various wikiprojects I need permission to expand my works on Wikipedia and also to observe Wikipedia articles. Cactinites (talk) 15:28, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Hi! I've been using Wikipedia on-and-off since 2020, but I'm starting to become more active. I'd like to become a pending change reviewer, as I've often wanted to help out but have struggled finding where I can actually contribute, and I think this is a good place to contribute. I'm familiar with the guidelines, as well. Thx56 (talk) 21:28, 2 October 2024 (UTC) |

Rollback
I have been working to revert vandalism for some time now, mostly patrolling Recent changes. I have used Twinkle and RedWarn to revert vandalism and warn vandals. Rollback rights would make it easier for me to revert obvious vandalism. Thanks. Charliehdb (talk) 10:57, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
I've been editing since 2015, with almost 80K edits, and have experience patrolling recent changes such as those in my watchlist. I'm familiar with policies such as VANDAL and WARN, and regularly use appropriate edit summaries and warning templates, through the use of Twinkle and RedWarn. Having rollback rights would help me revert clear cases of vandalism more effectively. ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 15:35, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
I have been engaging in recent changes patrolling for some time now, so I'd like to request rollback permission primarily to be able to use tools, so that I can patrol more quickly and efficiently. Thanks. Kovcszaln6 (talk) 17:38, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
I've been actively patrolling recent changes for a significant amount of time and have developed a solid understanding of Wikipedia’s guidelines on vandalism and disruptive edits. Throughout this period, I’ve consistently identified and reverted problematic edits, but doing this manually can be time-consuming. Having rollback rights would allow me to handle these issues more quickly and efficiently, helping ensure Wikipedia stays a reliable resource. I’m committed to using these tools responsibly and continuing to contribute effectively to the project. Thank you DelphiLore (talk) 19:11, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
