Dear Wikipedia Administrators,
I am writing to request the necessary permissions to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on my Wikipedia account. I value the security of my account and believe that adding 2FA will provide an additional layer of protection, ensuring the safety of my contributions and the integrity of my account.
My Contributions: Username: Jjackson10003 Account Details: Autoconfirmed user since August 10, 2020, with 10 edits to date. I have actively contributed to Wikipedia by [briefly describe your contributions, such as editing specific articles, creating pages, or participating in discussions]. Reason for Request: As technology evolves, the risk of account hijacking increases, particularly with the rise of AI and changes in regimes that may encourage bad actors to exploit vulnerabilities. Enabling 2FA will significantly reduce the likelihood of unauthorized access to my account and prevent potential misuse. Ensuring account security is critical, both for individual users and for the protection of Wikipedia’s broader community and platform integrity.
While I am currently an autoconfirmed user, I understand that 2FA is typically reserved for users with advanced permissions. I kindly request that I be considered for either extended confirmed user status or temporary access to enable 2FA.
Commitment to Wikipedia Standards: I am committed to following Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines, ensuring that my contributions adhere to community standards. I believe that my request aligns with the shared goal of maintaining a secure and trustworthy environment for editors and the broader Wikipedia community.
Thank you for considering my request. Please let me know if there is any additional information or clarification needed. I am happy to provide further details about my contributions or intentions.
Sincerely, Jjackson10003 Jjackson10003 (talk) 16:00, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
- Not done We do not consider requests that were rather obviously generated by AI. --Kinu t/c 16:02, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
- In addition to what Kinu said, extended confirmed doesn't confer the ability to enable 2FA. You'll need to follow the instructions at H:ACCESS2FA. stwalkerster (talk) 17:05, 28 January 2025 (UTC)

Hello, long time user of Wikipedia here, with a relatively new account which has less than 500 edits, while I was working on translating an article about an Israeli nurse and women's rights activist שרה לשנסקי (Sara Lishansky) from Hebrew to English. I noticed that I was only able to publish my translation as draft, What are my options in this case? AsmarTiba (talk) 11:06, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- P.S. I have previously done translation from English to Hebrew, I figured this limitation only applies when translating to English. AsmarTiba (talk) 11:39, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- Not done, looks like you managed to get your article to mainspace. Dr vulpes (Talk) 07:57, 31 January 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'd like to translate some articles that are currently only available in Russian and not in English. The machine translation feature is not yet available to me, but I'd like to help in that area. Ivan 6 (talk) 08:08, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
- P.S. I'm familiar with Russian and fluent in Bulgarian which are both of the slavic language family. Ivan 6 (talk) 08:10, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
