Release Date?
[edit]Is there a source for the release date change to July? Sir Chocobo (talk) 14:47, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
New Release date.
[edit]I believe the new release date for SBCG4AP is currently July 7th, 2008, a Monday. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.23.195.61 (talk) 21:28, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
This date isn't verified by Telltale Games. There's no reliable source for it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.32.30.65 (talk) 01:00, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
I'm pulling rank here and saying that the first episode of SBCG4AP will not be the released on July 7th. There will be a public posting on the Telltale Games Blog when a real date is announced. Seg (talk) 06:57, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
All 5 Pages
[edit]Don't you think that each game should have its own page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.45.129.253 (talk) 16:49, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe when we get more info. --(trogga) 20:39, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Removed Upcoming game tag
[edit]As It Was Released Today I removed The Upcoming game Tag idk if i should have done that but if not just add it back and remove this message15avaughn (talk) 17:13, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- Was it? I just checked wiiware twice and I couldnt find it. If this is just me, I think the article should be cleaned up a bit, on one hand it says upcoming game and on the other hand it says "released today"OmikronWeapon (talk) 18:51, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Dangeresque 3 Section
[edit]Reads like an advertisement. Please edit. 210.193.237.146 (talk) 00:04, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
More than that, I'm curious if there's a source for this...it sounds like an awesome premise for an episode, but where did the info come from? Telltale says nothing... -Etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.164.141.157 (talk) 09:29, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- Over at HRWiki, we're quite possibly deleting this same information because we don't have a solid source on it. So that may tell you something. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 14:32, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
Somewhat rambling sentence
[edit]Episode 3: Baddest of the Bands: "funnier jokes they felt did not need to prop up the weak gameplay noted in its predecessor." - Someone please rectify that so that it's clear that "the jokes fit better in this installment" and it was improved from "Strong Badia the Free". Maybe "...and that the jokes fit better with the plot and didn't need to prop up gameplay" or something. --Addict 2006 02:33, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Videlectrix
[edit]Should we have them listed as developers? Technically they're fictionous and just made up by the Brother's Chaps. I think it would be better if we listed Mike & Matt Chapman instead of Videlectrix. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wise dude321 (talk • contribs) 17:44, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- But they're treated like a real company — to a degree, anyway. --trogga 18:29, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- They May be treated like that, but the HRWiki calls them "fictinous", going to Videlectrix just redirects to the Homestar article, and even the article just calls Videlectrix a "side-project" of TBC. Plus, Telltale games has shown themselves as a company with a sense of humor, so they're probably just going along with it. Wise dude321 (talk) 23:08, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- I still think it should be kept, considering it's the TBC's video game label. --trogga 08:15, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- How 'bout this. After Videlectrix we put something like (fictionous. Actually Mike and Matt Chapman)?Wise dude321 (talk) 16:40, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- I think it's already noted in the link I just added. Besides, the Chaps are already listed as designers. --trogga 22:28, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, It think that link will work. Let's go with that.Wise dude321 (talk) 22:35, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

PAL releases
[edit]So why are the PAL releases for this game lagging behind so much? Has Telltale given any reason because I think it's just getting ridiculous. -TheHande (talk) 19:55, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
8 bit is enough
[edit]Okay, we seem to have the potential for an edit-war beginning here. So, I'm trying to nip it in the bud here and now. Right now there seems to be two sides to this. One side says that there will be a second season of SBCG4AP, saying at the end of 8 bit is enough (this is the last game in the first season). But I say that, because there is no official word of a second season, it should simply be (this is the last game in SBCG4AP). If we say there will be a second season then we'll be crystal balling it, which is a DIRECT contradiction of Wikipedia's guidelines. Wise dude321 (talk) 23:13, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- If anyone had EVER said anything about there being a second season, your argument would have merit. No one ever said that, so you're just arguing with a straw man. The question is, do we say it's the last ever (now that is invoking a crystal ball!) or the last of season 1 (which is exactly how it's being advertised)? If it's the last ever, then it's the last of season 1, so the latter is true regardless. I changed it (while not logged in) to "the last planned episode" (no emphasis in article), however, which seems a fair compromise to me. --HeroicJay (talk) 00:36, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- I agree that works, and your on the right track. But how about something like "the last announced episode?Yours still would work. works.Wise dude321 (talk) 02:30, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Images.
[edit]Could we have more consitent images? I like the ones for episode 1, 4, and 5. Could we get the equivalent for 2 and 3?Wise dude321 (talk) 17:03, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
- They're all from Nintendo's WiiWare page. --Trogga 21:43, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Merged
[edit]Although I have no intent on working on this game, I must question why the episodes have been (unilaterally) merged into this article. Each episode seems to have received significant coverage in the press with reviews, making fully developed reception sections more than possible, and I don't doubt that development sections for each episode could also be created, allowing for each one to have a shot at becoming good articles. To me, this article would be far better served as acting as an overview of the game, its general history and overall reception, and a portal to the episodes. This also opens up the possibility of a future featured topic. -- Sabre (talk) 12:49, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I must dissagree. It's a nice idea but while the reception and development parts could be good, the main article of it would be very dwarffed.--Wise dude321 (talk) 03:20, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, if you're not going to split them out again, the approach to this article needs rethinking. It feels like a poorly performed merge (complete with original infoboxes), with little in the way of workable structure and plenty of redunancies. That really needs to be sorted out if you want to get this article up in the quality scales. -- Sabre (talk) 11:27, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
