Expansion request
[edit]Nice job on this article! Do you also have any sales figures or any info on reviews? --Elonka 18:40, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

One small change
[edit]Again great article, but I made one small change. This was one of RSG last games, I believe only the Space bar came later, but one of the first producted with SegaSoft (which probably explains the big advertizing push) so I changed one work to reflect this.

- Thanks, I'll check it. BTW, some friendly advice on talk pages... If you "sign" your posts with 4 tildes, ~~~~, it'll automatically add a signature datestamp. This can make conversations a bit easier to follow, thanks! :) --Elonka 19:15, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- Did some research using Google, pretty much just opened the first ten pages that match my search for each game. Most sites list the Obsidian release date as December 1996 or January 1997, The Space Bar release ranges between May 1997 or June 1997, lastly Rocket Jockey is almost always listed as June 6th, 1996 with one listing it as late as October. So the release of RSG last three games was most likely Rocket Jockey, Obsidian and the Space Bar in that order in their original region of release. Lando242 20:31, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Strategy guide packed with the game?
[edit]The article claims that the strategy guide came with the game. I bought the game back about the time it first came out, and I did not get the strategy guide. I did, however, get a tshirt with "your rules do not apply here" on it as well as I believe the boxcover picture. So perhaps there were different versions. --Xyzzyplugh 16:00, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Obsidianbox.jpg
[edit]Image:Obsidianbox.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit]Mistake was made when AfD was done on another game with the same name. My research uncovered someinteresting information, including the extremely notable commercial campaign this game had. Copied below:
- Strong Keep - First, Ive noticed a technical error - it came out in 1996, not 1986. That's the problem with no references. However, I strongly believe they are out there: [1] - Proof game is still sold (14 years later is a bit impressive), [2] - review, [3] - review, [4]- Review (but having problem accessing at work), [5] - review, [6] - interesting analysis on its commercial campaign, indicating 3 Clio awards wins and "a permanent feature on the New York Museum of Modern Art". This can be proven here [7] - search on 1997 with keyword obsidian - they did win three times for their marketing. Article can grow a ton - especially when you include their award winning marketing campaign. I am pretty confident notability is now established. Turlo Lomon (talk) 20:23, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

I'd like to see a mention of the fact that the game was authored using mTropolis from mFactory.
