Splitting retail/digital games

[edit]

I think retail games should be separated from the download-only titles. I think that helps when you are looking for a certain game, instead of just having an endless list with all of them mixed. It's like mixing webisodes and normal episodes on a TV series, or EPs and LPs in music. They should have their own space. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.138.98.232 (talk) 17:33, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

The result of the move request was: Moved. We haven't been consistent up to now, but in light of Talk:List_of_video_games_published_by_Sony_Interactive_Entertainment#Requested_move, and List of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment video games, it seems like we should make them all consistent and there is a small consensus that the proposed title form is more WP:CONCISE.  — Amakuru (talk) 08:39, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

New design?

[edit]

So maybe this is just me, but as the page gets longer and longer I feel like it has kinda become a big mess. How about we just make it a bunch of tables, separated by year? Example:

Year Here

[edit]
Title Platform(s) Note
PS1 PS2 PS3 PS4 PSP PSVita Win
Game 1 Yes No Yes No Yes No Yes Digital Only
Game 2 Yes No Yes No Yes No Yes Physical and Digital
Game 3 Yes No Yes No Yes No Yes Epic Games Store only on Windows

Obviously the table should change each year, there's no reason why PS1, PS2 etc. would be included in years for which Sony didn't publish any titles on those platforms for example

Title Genre(s) Developer(s) Platform(s) Release date Note(s)
Dreams Game creation system Media Molecule PlayStation 4 Feb 14, 2020
MLB The Show 20 Sports SIE San Diego Studio PlayStation 4 Mar 17, 2020
Nioh 2 Action role-playing Team Ninja PlayStation 4 Mar 13, 2020 Published by Koei Tecmo in Japan
Predator: Hunting Grounds First-person shooter IllFonic PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows Apr 24, 2020
Patapon 2 SIE Japan Studio PlayStation 4 Jan 30, 2020
Ghost of Tsushima Sucker Punch Productions PlayStation 4 Jul 17, 2020
The Last of Us Part II
Naughty Dog PlayStation 4 Jun 19, 2020
Iron Man VR Shooter Camouflaj PlayStation 4 TBA PlayStation VR only

Nintendo Switch

[edit]

If we're going to include the Switch here, we also have to include the Sega Saturn, and is anyone going to bother with that? Especially if we're talking about one game. Yuyuluzu (talk) 18:35, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
