Knack II → Knack 2 – The name of the game is “Knack 2,” not “Knack II,” as seen wherever the game is sold or officially mentioned, such as the game’s PlayStation 4 store page. Interqwark talk contribs 06:31, 1 May 2018 (UTC)--Relisting. Dekimasuよ! 16:59, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose The official box art uses "II" instead of 2. Both stylisations are used widely by reliable sources. No valid reason for change. --The1337gamer (talk) 16:58, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- The cover says “KNACK II,” but that doesn’t mean that the title of the game is all-caps. “II” is just a stylization choice. Comparably, the cover of Watch Dogs 2 says “WATCH_DOGS 2,” and it’s the same with the first game, but on Wikipedia, it is not written in all capital letters, nor does it have an underscore.
- Also, “Knack 2” is written without Roman numerals on the game’s PlayStation 4 store page, in the title of the official trailer, and on Metacritic, IGN, Trusted Reviews, Polygon, GameSpot, The Independent, Eurogamer, Best Buy, and more. I could only find it referred to as “Knack II” on Kotaku after a little bit Google research, and even then, that’s just one article, as it’s written “Knack 2” in every other article on the site. It’s written “Knack 2” in most of the sources in this Wikipedia article. Interqwark talk contribs 05:58, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
- We don't use all caps because of MOS:TM. There's nothing wrong with the "II" stylisation. Plenty of reliable sources use it. --The1337gamer (talk) 17:52, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
- What sources? Shouldn’t “Knack 2” be used since it’s the official name and the one that is used by most sources? Interqwark talk contribs 15:31, 7 May 2018 (UTC)

- Support both stylizations are used but Knack 2 seems more used overall, per more news results (13000 vs 2000) and used officially Galobtter (pingó mió) 07:54, 8 May 2018 (UTC)

Knack II → Knack 2 – Same reasons as above. The spelling “Knack 2” is used by the majority of sources on the Internet and is the official title used on the official store page and official trailers. Interqwark talk contribs 16:45, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

Request to protect this page
[edit]KNACK 2 BAYBEEE! Can we please have this page protected in order to avoid the constant barrage of vandalism from those who keep referencing the YouTuber Dunky and his sarcastic review of Knack II? It's extremely annoying, and I'm surprised no one has requested this before. Wikibenboy94 (talk) 15:25, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
- Obviously it seems no one is bothered about this and the reverting of vandalism continues almost every week...Wikibenboy94 (talk) 08:05, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
Other pages have set the precedent that socially impactful 'memes' that arise from works should be allowed on the original works page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.164.95.79 (talk) 04:19, 13 June 2019 (UTC)
More article information
[edit]Hello! I am participating in a Digital Rhetoric course where I am meant to edit a wikipedia article. I found that this article has minor edits in comparison to its predecessor's article. I have drafted multiple sections within my sandbox for Knack II: plot, multiplayer, lore, and have added additions to gameplay and reception. The additional edits are minimal, but the most extensive draft is of the plot. I have also seen the discussion over Dunkey. But considering that people will reference it regardless, I felt that it would benefit everyone to mention him as a cultural reference. This would acknowledge his signficance while also keeping the fans at bay for mentioning him. Let me know what you guys think before I post soon! DiosXMachina (talk) 16:41, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
"strand type game"
[edit]Hi, why use a term to describe a game coined by another game which was released 6 years later. The term "strand type game" is vague and no link or explaination of it is given here. For me it leads to more confusion than actually explaining something. Considering its younger age shouldn't Death Stranding be a "knack type game" then?
