The result of the move request was: Not moved. Noting that the article may in future be moved to Seven Pirates H, but that it's not seen as notable under that name just yet. (non-admin closure) Turnagra (talk) 08:48, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Genkai Tokki: Seven PiratesSeven Pirates – The remake is being released in English under the title "Seven Pirates H", so although the original technically wasn't released and the remake is the one being released in English I would move this to "Seven Pirates" to refer to the original, then obviously "Seven Pirates H" is the remake. The "Genkai Tokki" isn't in the english version. Also, "Seven Pirates" already redirects here. • Oppose This is a tricky one, but frankly the game is not notable under the title "Seven Pirates" since all Western sources used the current Japanese name. It should most likely stay at this name until it becomes notable under the name "Seven Pirates H" (assuming it does) and then be moved to that one. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 13:52, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
well, the sources talking about the english release are using the announced english title of seven pirates h.Muur (talk) 00:15, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Seven Pirates isn't the best article title to go with. It's not as easily findable in search engines as Moero Chronicle or Castle Panzers.

Plus, it's a part of a grander series anyways. It's better to keep it as is for consistency. You wouldn't talk about a game with the Final Fantasy label but remove it when talking about it's subtitle. Professionally speaking, they're one and the same. we dont have it int he title of the other games in the series though.Muur (talk) 07:37, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ultimately I believe it is pointless to move it to "Seven Pirates" when the WP:COMMONNAME in the West will be Seven Pirates H. I just don't think it's notable under that name right now, but it probably will be. If it has to be moved, I support moving it to Seven Pirates H, the name of the Western release. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 14:51, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
