What about C64

[edit]

By that I mean C64 Creatures: http://www.zzap64.co.uk/c64/creatures.html

Neat - never heard of that one. You might want to add it as Creatures (C64) and add a link to it in the disambiguation section at the top of Creatures. GreenReaper 12:14, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Old comment but, that's a game that has no relation to this series. Same names do not mean they are related. Earisu |Talk 20:13, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

COBs?

[edit]

There ought to be some mention of COBs in this article (Creature Objects). They are a fairly large part of all C1, C2, and C3. -- Eptin 23:30, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is some info on the Creatures Wiki: COBs and Agents. The site is GFDL, so it's fine to copy portions if they're appropriate for Wikipedia. GreenReaper 00:04, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Creatures Game Boy Advance version

[edit]

What about the GBA version for which i have a copy (even if it's trash as compared to the pc's version's)Richardson j 13:13, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is also "Lost in Space" and that other Playstation game (whatever they're called). Somehow they've escaped mention (probably because the Creatures community largely considers them disgraces). Perhaps there needs written a "non-PC games" or similar section? Sarrandúin [ Talk + Contribs ] 19:55, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what those games have in relation but i know that the gba version exsest and i think it's in relation to the article Richardson j 12:24, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I also have the GBA version and came here looking for some info/background. The article left me wondering what console/machine these games were released on, and it's only from the comments above that I'm realising it must be basically a PC game. It seems the article needs to be clearer on what platform and media (eg floppy disk?) these games are on. 14.200.208.126 (talk) 13:05, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Shee statue.png

[edit]

Image:Shee statue.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit]

The image Image:Creatures2.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Sarus and Creatures

[edit]

I hadn't thought about creatures in many a long year, til I came across the language Sarus, based on musical notes, colours, or even hand signs/gestures. Can anyone tell me if the Creatures are speaking an intelligible, sensible form of the language? Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.98.155.4 (talk) 06:48, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, it was done like this. The article about music also makes interesting reading (more info here). GreenReaper (talk) 01:23, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its been a long time.

[edit]

I remember the day creatures 3 came out, And i remember the day it died.

The CAOS engine was a real beautiful piece of work, It could be used to make your own games. But nobody did. The official development page's download links have now died. I will miss this game, I hope it will come back to life when creature 4 comes out. (I highly doubt it will)
