The 2022 Orange County, Florida, mayoral election was held on August 23, 2022, to elect the mayor of Orange County, Florida.[1] Incumbent Jerry Demings was first elected in 2018,[2] and was re-elected in 2022 with 60.05%. Since Demings won a majority in the first round, a runoff election was not needed.[1][3]
The election was officially nonpartisan,[4] but most candidates were affiliated with political parties, and Demings is a registered Democrat.[5]
