Favorite userboxes
In a totally frivolous, but potentially constructive vein, what are some of your favorite userboxes? Buaidh 01:59, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
- My first nominee is:
This user is a member of WikiProject Cephalopods. |
- I don't think it is fair to start a frivolous conversation about a serious subject like userboxes . I was asked to make this one up:

- I love it. I guess we all edit when business is slow. Buaidh talk contribs 23:50, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
- I'd say it's probably these two.

Peculiar edits
I'm not quite sure what's going on with these edits and move, userboxes are a bit of a mystery to me, but it looks like the editor concerned is perhaps making changes they shouldn't be. Pinkbeast (talk) 03:49, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- It looks like it was just a page move to a more general topic. Looks okay to me. - Ahunt (talk) 11:47, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- Ping @Buaidh: who created it originally. I'm not convinced; the editor in question has some dodgy edits (eg persistent BLP violations on Anita Sarkeesian) and User:StjJackson sounds a few alarm bells to me.
- To be clear, I'll leave it be absent input from the original creator, but perhaps that's not what they meant and perhaps also they can explain why what they meant originally is more desirable. Pinkbeast (talk) 10:13, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
User:UBX/NLL-Roughnecks
Hey, I remember making this box SOOOOOO long ago but the colours no longer really reflect the team, I don't know who exactly made the other NLL userboxes but I wanted to know who could possibly adjust them to better reflect the team colours. --MattBinYYC (talk) 04:54, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
- I found User:UBX/NLL-Roughnecks and I can fix the colours for you, but what are the new, correct colours? - Ahunt (talk) 13:34, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
- I'd say red followed by white and black. --MattBinYYC (talk) 18:07, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
- @MattBinYYC: color update Done. Could you please check the new colors? I've also tweaked border and font size. —andrybak (talk) 13:47, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Travel 3 page is incredibly broken
Just took a look at https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Userboxes/Travel-3#Other_travel_userboxes and towards the bottom it just becomes template text. Is a revert possible? I don't know when or what did this? --MattBinYYC (talk) 22:12, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
- It was caused by too many transclusions on the page and looks like another editor has fixed it already. - Ahunt (talk) 02:08, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
Clerk Userboxes
I created these templates because I noticed that userboxes and top icons relating to clerks did not exist. I am not very experienced in templates, so can someone create the documentation pages for these templates for me? funplussmart (talk) 21:52, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
- —andrybak (talk) 13:02, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Funplussmart:. I'm not sure if it is needed anywhere (category page, perhaps?), but here's table with both userboxes:
{{yytop}} {{yy|User wikipedia/Arbitration clerk}} {{yy|User wikipedia/SPI clerk}} {{yyend}}
- You can copy the code from this talk page, if needed. Cheers. —andrybak (talk) 16:26, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Organization of location userboxes
I've organized cities related location userboxes, and would like to continue organizing location userboxes better. I have put a bot request to update categories of lists of location userboxes. Perhaps someone in this WikiProject knows how to do this mass category change better/easier/simpler, maybe even without a bot? Thanks. —andrybak (talk) 12:55, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
Allow for wide and small userboxes in module
Here I proposed a edit to allow for small (1/2 the width) and wide (2x the width) userboxes. I just need a consensus so I can request the edit again. – BrandonXLF (t@lk) 15:30, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
