Unused. WikiCleanerMan (talk) 13:20, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Trust me, It will be used when the 2024 Women's European U-19 Water Polo Championship commences. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 17:36, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It has no purpose if it was only created for an event that's gonna happen later in the year. Wikipedia:CRYSTAL applies here. The template won't be used for a fee months, so therefore having it sit around is pointless. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 17:49, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was keep , but as indicated in the discussion, remove uses that are unnecessary (i.e. uses where it's obvious impersonation is not the intention of the account). Primefac (talk) 11:56, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Per the deletion discussion of Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2023_April_15#Template:Blocked_user - WP:DFTT. Pointless template. Awesome Aasim 22:15, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • This template is very different to blocked user, and especially the most version in the linked TfD. It's more akin to Template:Doppelganger. It serves to provide notice that someone is looking at a different person to the person they thought they were looking at (and this is not always obvious from visible logs). I don't use it very much, but I have both used it and found it useful when someone else has correctly used it. Unpersuaded by the rationales provided so far, I'm going to say Keep. -- zzuuzz (talk) 22:52, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
BTW a similar template {{namewarning}} did not survive TFD. The few cases where there is bad faith impersonation we can refer the matter to stewards who can rename the account to one where there isn't impersonation in addition to blocking the user. If there is confusion the block log always shows details. We have {{Uw-ublock-double}} and {{Uw-uhblock-double}} and that is enough. No need for further notices like this. Delete per WP:DENY. Tagging user pages with these templates is basically giving the user behind the account, which is almost always an LTA, some amount of attention. If a full deletion is not viable, limiting the scope to just attempted impersonation is an option I am also fine with, because the template is also used for attack usernames, which really should be oversighted and should not have tagged userpages. No reason for this to exist when we already have Template:Kanye West The Midnite Wolf (talk) 19:44, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Delete Agreed. Having both a sidebar and a footer navbox can be useful in very long articles or when one has a more narrow scope, but for biographies, it's really not helpful for navigation. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 14:33, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Agree: Per reasons already stated.

Delete the template is enough, we don't need a sidebar. Ippantekina (talk) 03:23, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NENAN Only four entries plus a TV article. One of the entries is currently at AFD. The Celestial Toymaker and The Giggle already link to each other. The Nightmare Fair arguably fails GNG as well. Questions? four Olifanofmrtennant (she/her) 16:23, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
