- Whpq, can you post here the original text so that I can work from what I had originally added as a reference? I can't start from scratch and it would be going back to square one for me. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 03:17, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
- No. It was a copyright violation and will not be restored. It is a violation of copyright policy for you to have copied the material into the article, and I would be committing copyright policy violation by restoring it for you. -- Whpq (talk) 03:22, 4 January 2023 (UTC)

January 2025
[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Category:People pardoned by Donald Trump. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. I have asked you to discuss before reverting. SMasonGarrison 01:31, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- Did you really need to revert all of them while I was midway through the process? A civil discussion instead of you reverting midway through would have been much more productive. By your logic that only one editor has that opinion is not conducive for editing, my version is just as good as yours. Are you planning on finishing the navigation between administrations? Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Kazakhstan–Syria relations
[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Kazakhstan–Syria relations indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. ✗plicit 04:46, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
Does this constitute vandalism?
[edit]Hello, I noticed that you've repeatedly reverted the addition of this section by another editor to the Academies of Loudoun article, arguing that it is vandalism. However, I don't quite understand the argument for this, and would prefer to discuss the reasoning behind removing it rather than allowing you to continually revert that user's edit, either here or on the talk page. It appears to me that this user is attempting at adding in something constructive that could (potentially) be relevant to the article. I would just like to know what the valid argument is against its removal, rather than simply claiming it to be vandalism, which by policy it does not necessarily appear to be.
Please keep in mind that I am not entirely aware of all editing policies yet, as I have only just begun editing, so I'm sure I may be wrong about all of this, and if I am you may correct me. I am also aware that the section does not have any sources yet, and that among other reasons is possibly why it's being consistently removed. However, I'd just like to understand your real reasoning here a little bit more than my theorizing, and an edit summary of "Revert vandalism." Thanks! Some helpful person (talk) 04:50, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
- It does. Repeatedly adding in information like this without sources or any claim of validity constitutes both vandalism and disruptive editing. This user has added it again. I'd advise to revert it because I've already reversed him three times already. WikiCleanerMan (talk) 13:34, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
- Ah... yes, that does make a lot of sense now! I'm sorry for questioning you on that. I was kind of conflicted about including the section because I happen to have local knowledge of the event, and can say that it did occur, but there are unfortunately no sources available anywhere about it (only acknowledged in emails sent to parents/students), so I just didn't know if I should keep it or not. But I think this clears it up for me now. I'll revert it, and someone else can re-add it later if there are reliable source(s) documenting it (which is unlikely, as it may not be notable enough anyway). I'll see if I can explain that to the editor, as not to get into an editing battle over it. Thank you for clarifying that for me! Some helpful person (talk) 14:36, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
