Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Pakistan
![]() | Points of interest related to Pakistan on Wikipedia: Outline – History – Portal – Category – WikiProject – Alerts – Deletions – Cleanup – Stubs – Assessment – Style – To-do |
This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Pakistan. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Pakistan|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Pakistan. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.
This list is also part of the larger list of deletion debates related to Asia.

No significant coverage from independent reliable sources found, the previose AfD was closed as Soft Delete. Current sourcing still fails GNG. GrabUp - Talk 18:53, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- Redirect. I was unaware of the same page was deleted previously, which I'm also created. Oppose to deletion but suggest to Redirect it to the Shafaullah Rokhri, as little much coverage available here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Imod55555 (talk • contribs) 19:08, 6 March 2025 (UTC)

Non-notable subject: This article covers Muhammad Saifullah, an Islamic scholar from Sindh, Pakistan. The current sources, primarily YouTube videos and Facebook pages, fail Wikipedia’s guidelines on reliable sourcing (WP:RS) and notability (WP:GNG). The subject lacks significant independent coverage and prominence, making him unsuitable for inclusion. Additionally, recent confusion regarding subject identity further confirms unclear notability. Thus, deletion per WP:GNG and WP:RS is recommended. PunjabiEditor69 (talk) 17:24, 5 March 2025 (UTC)

- Delete: Doesn't seem to have anything in Gscholar; a similar name pops up for a researcher in photovoltaics. I don't see a pass at notability for scholars. Sourcing now in the article is not useful, as explained and I can't find anything about this person otherwise. Oaktree b (talk) 19:35, 5 March 2025 (UTC)
- Delete. Notability not found in GNG either. Xxanthippe (talk) 21:32, 5 March 2025 (UTC).

Article is a bunch of Promotional contents. References are more than 60, but all fake just to support inline citations. Also seems like that the page is generated from AI. Nothing find notable that are meeting the criteria for the WP:BLP, also failed basic WP:GNG. Sackiii (talk) 07:37, 27 February 2025 (UTC)

- Delete. The length that someone went to fake the references is impressive, so much so that I would be inclined to believe they were AI-generated if it weren't for the fact that some of the fake references have been there for years. No independent references that demonstrate significant coverage. Madeleine (talk) 21:20, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
- I tried to create this article on Artificial Intelligence module and the response was same as the article is written here. Sackiii (talk) 21:52, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
- I see. I was only referring to the faked references in my post, but I'm not at all surprised that the article was AI-generated as well. Thanks for nominating. Madeleine (talk) 00:51, 28 February 2025 (UTC)

Relisting comment: Relisting because, although the outcome appears clear, Sackiii (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) has been indeffed as a sock, so we need at least one more legitimate editor to agree with deletion to establish consensus.

Coverage is mostly based on routine mentions or from affiliated organizations (like joining BOL News results in brief coverage in BOL News itself ([1])) Lacks direct and in-depth coverage. Fails WP:GNG. Gheus (talk) 17:50, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
