I suppose you might not be aware that X-Men has been promoted to GA. I myself am really surprised about this and I know you'd probably think it's not up to your usual standard. Alientraveller (talk) 21:13, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
- You've definitely come a long way. :) You can put the film article up for WP:GAR and list your issues with it. If you need additional input, I'll be happy to provide it. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 13:15, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
You might want to rephrase that review, mate. OK, you are a terrific editor, but could you be more humble, lol? Sure, I'll support its delisting. Alientraveller (talk) 17:09, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

i edited User:Wildroot/Superman film series
Hello! I just wanted to let you know that I edited your user space draft User:Wildroot/Superman film series. I added colons to the categories because your draft was showing up in main space categories (next to its friend Superman (film series)).
Keep up the good work! -- KathrynLybarger (talk) 14:35, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, it'd be best to include Brando in Superman II, but note he only appears in Donner's version. Alientraveller (talk) 09:22, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Film/Movie Locations FamousLocaions.com
Hi, I run a website FamousLocations.com and we list 233,000 movies and 4,600,000 locations around the world. We list movie locations for the movies. We are a free site and offer great movie/film location info and are interested to get listed on the movie pages at Wikipedia for the pages. We have been running since 2001. What do you think? Thanks David —Preceding unsigned comment added by FamousLocations-com (talk • contribs) 09:15, August 4, 2008

Re: X-Men
I've weighed in. I noticed the listing when going over WP:FILMSPOT one day and later saw what you said to Alientraveller about it. So I had a ready opinion for its delisting. :-P How did the premiere of your short documentary go? —Erik (talk • contrib) - 17:13, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Do you have the X-Men 1.5 DVD? Alientraveller (talk) 18:51, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- I should wait to polish it then. Alientraveller (talk) 18:56, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- No, I don't think it's important. Alientraveller (talk) 19:08, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Re: X-Men (film)
I can help with whatever the review needs doing. Gary King (talk) 02:18, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- I made several edits to the article so it could possibly be a COI, so I'll just let someone else do it. Gary King (talk) 05:28, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- I have still obviously shown interest in seeing the article pass and so I find it appropriate to let another uninvolved editor review the article. Gary King (talk) 05:46, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Batman vs Superman
Who are you to undo what was put in regarding the Batman vs Superman advertisement in the movie I Am Legend? This violated policy in NO way, shape, or form. It was a verifible fact that can be seen by anyone. You couldn't even think of a reason to log for why you cut it, because you knew there wasn't one. What's the issue, that you didn't think of it first and put it in yourself? If you ever again cut something I or anyone else puts in for the information of the public for no other reason than your own ego, I'll have you brought up to defend it as high up as I can go. Consider yourself on watch. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.216.70.60 (talk) 12:59, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

- I presumed so, I just wondered if filming had begun beforehand in London or LA or somewhere like that. I guess we can let it pass. And I have no comment on the mo-cap whatsoever, it's just a tool. Alientraveller (talk) 22:06, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi Wildroot, I usually leave formatting alone once the main editor has created a system. I appreciate your work here but there were some fundamental differences in the citation styles with some mixing of APA and MLA styles, use of authors, link to publishers, so without going through every single edit, I reverted to the original style which is based on two systems: the Harvard Citation for multiple entries from one source and the original Modern Language Association style guide for full bibliographical notations. The use of "further reading", I always find ambiguous as if it means additional sources wherein the original list of reference sources were actually used in composing the main body of the text. If you read the "scratch editing" which is what many editors now use instead of the citation templates (which truly remain "buggy"), it approximates the same information in a readily adapted and flexible "written out" style. I would be pleased to explain further (I am not being sarcastic or demeaning here, just willing to engage in a fuller explanation). FWiW Bzuk (talk) 01:01, 18 September 2008 (UTC).
- Okay, I see you've reverted all the changes, made new mistakes and aaaargh.....Bzuk (talk) 01:08, 18 September 2008 (UTC).
- If you insist in going in this new direction, at least do the following, write out citations as author(last name, first name), all author names are alphabetically listed. Drop the ISO dating, it is deprecated and more now, dates are already established as month-day-year. The reference list is what I used to make the revised article, removing bibliographical notes does not make sense. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 01:12, 18 September 2008 (UTC).
- It is contingent in you to respond, as you continue to introduce errors in your editing, as well as using arcane citation templates that introduce more errors. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 11:10, 18 September 2008 (UTC).

No problem. I think the article itself is fairly well-written and sourced now, so I suppose I'll be doing some further merging and editing for you. Alientraveller (talk) 22:29, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

- OK, I've learnt Zemeckis didn't do the Region 1 commentary with Gale. Could you watch the DVD (having bought the R2 set without in 2002) to verify which of the four comments they made in the Q&A, and on the audio commentary? Alientraveller (talk) 21:28, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Use "Show preview" because "saving the same article a large number of times in quick succession makes it harder for people to check what changed, and clogs up the page history". If you can't use Wikipedia appropriately, don't use it. As for your public insult on the BTTF talk page, also consider this as a warning before being reported. -- Lyverbe (talk) 11:22, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Superman Returns
Fair warning to you, I've been working on the Superman Returns page myself. I left the actual article awhile ago and came back to what I deemed to be an article that looked like shit. I have plans to go buy the limited edition film for all the extras, as well as the books that were written about the film.
P.S. As for the archives, I have no idea...as I said I left that page awhile ago and it got turned into what it is by other editors. I stopped trying to do major corrections to it and decided to work on it in a sandbox at my leisure. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 14:19, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for your comments, I've edited the article this morning and addressed most, if not all of them. Some of it has been reowrded or taken out to avoid the impression of original research. Its not always easy finding references for material people had added before I got to editing the article! Luckily I am an expert in this subject. Count Blofeld 14:23, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi. It was actually mostly me that developed it from its original state, see the edit history I'm sure the others will agree see the diff However Special Winder has also done a good amount of work on it and should also be credited Count Blofeld 12:02, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
